Mary Brook McDaniel
Mary Brook McDaniel, 22, of
Norman died February 15, in Oklahoma
City. A service to celebrate her life will be
held Tuesday Feb. 18th at the Havenbrook
Memorial Chapel at 7:00 pm in Norman.
Funeral service will be held at the Mallory
Funeral Home Chapel in Stigler at 2:00
pm Wednesday February 19th with Rev.
A. J. Robinson officiating.
Burial will be at the Garland Cemetery Stigler, Oklahoma
under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home. Pallbearers in
Norman will be Tom Fightmaster, Robert Fightmaster, Randy
Prince, Ron Bahner, Gerald Franklin, and Dick Watts. Pallbearers
in Stigler will be Ray Jordan, Ronnie Brigance, Henry Kates,
Kimberly Kates, Walter Kates, Marion Kates, Glenn Kates, and
Jerry Kates.
Mary Brook was born August 11, 1980 in Norman to Bud
and Lora (Kates) McDaniel. She was a 2002 graduate of Norman
North High School. Mary Brook was a very enthusiastic student
with a zest for living. She was active in Special Olympics and was
recognized as Boomer Sooner Athlete of the Year while at Norman
North High School. Mary Brook was considered a fighter to the
end. She lived for 22 years facing major obstacles due to Down's
Syndrome and Cystic Fibrosis.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Elvin and
Frieda McDaniel and Papa Charlie Kates. Survivors included
her parents of the home, Bud and Lora McDaniel; one brother,
Robert Brandon and wife, Dana of Norman; one grandmother,
Helen Kates of Stigler; aunts and uncles, Donna Kates and
husband, Robert Bonner of Oklahoma City, Nancy and Steve Self
of Sapulpa, Gary and Pat Kates of Stigler, Gay and David Sellers
of Oklahoma City, Kenneth and Gerry McDaniel of Maud, Bill
and Kay McDaniel of Flint, Texas, & Diane and Tom Fightmaster
of Houston, Texas. She is survived by two nieces, Hailey and
Brooke McDaniel and one nephew Kyle McDaniel. Also, a host
of cousins, Edie, Justin, Cathy, Caroline, Christine, Cindy, Kelly,
Ken, Lisa, Mark, Dana, Robert, Stephanie, Jamy, Kristy and Larry.
She also had numerous second cousins and very special friends.

Louise Foree McGee
Louise Foree McGee, beloved wife,
mother and grandmother, died Feb. 24,
2003 in Tulsa. A life-long Norman resident,
Louise was born in Norman on April 26,
1916. A graduate of Norman High School,
she attended the University of Oklahoma
for two years. She also served as a
caseworker for the former Department of
Public We1fare. A devoted Christian, she
met her husband, Jodie Leslie McGee, on
the steps of Norman's First Baptist Church
where seven years later they married on
March 4, 1944. Married 52 years, together they raised their two
daughters in Norman. She and her husband relocated to Tulsa in 1995
to be close to their daughters and grandchildren.
An active gardener, Louise was a charter and active member
for 50 years in Norman's Edgemere Garden Club. She was also a
member of Eastern Star. Louise loved playing bridge and over the
years, she and her husband forged many wonderful relationships
across the bridge table. Both Louise and Leslie were active, long-time
members of Norman's First Baptist Church.
Louise is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jodie Leslie
McGee, parents George, and Gertrude Foree, and brother Raymond
Foree. She is survived by her two daughters -- Nancy McGee Young
and husband, Gary, of Tulsa, and Lynda McGee Barksdale and
husband, Bill, of Okmulgee. She is also survived by her three
granddaughters, Holly Young Morris and husband, Mark, of
Spindale, N.C.; Leslee Young Stewart and husband, Jonathan, of
Tulsa; and Leah Barksdale of Norman.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the
American Parkinson Disease Association, 1250 Hylan Blvd., Suite
4B, Staten Island, NY, 10305-1946, or a charity of your choice.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 1
p.m. at Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook, in Norman..
Immediately following the service, the family will host a reception for
relatives and friends at Legend's Restaurant, 1313 W. Lindsey,
Norman.

Jaymee Jo Oliver
Jaymee Jo Oliver, 19, of Norman,
Oklahoma, died Monday, February 17, 2003
of injuries received in an automobile
accident near Lebanon, Missouri. Funeral
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M, Thursday,
February 20, 2003 at McFarlin Memorial
United Methodist Church in Norman,
Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the
Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma. Pallbearers
will be Lee Weaver, Jan Russell, Byron Balden, Jack Bower, Rick
Tocco and Alain Harewood. Services are under the direction of
Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.
Jaymee was born August 7, 1983 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She moved to Norman in 1993 and attended schools here since the
4th grade. She graduated from Norman North High School in 2001,
and was attending U.C.O. Jaymee enjoyed traveling and interior
decorating. She loved music and enjoyed fine cuisine and the culinary
arts. Jaymee was engaged to be married to Chris Townsend.
Survivors include her parents, Dan and Lisa Dunson of the
home; father, Martin Kelso Oliver of Iowa; brother, Logan Dunson
of the home; maternal grandparents, AnnaBess and Steve Maly of
Edmond, OK and Bonnie and Dan Rice of Grand Forks, N.D.;
paternal grandparents, Charles and Margaret Dunson of Enid, OK and
Thelma and Duane Belknap of Wyoming, Minn.; and special aunt,
Kristi Balden of Enid, Oklahoma.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. on
Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at Havenbrook Funeral Home in
Norman.

Nancy June Pratt
Nancy June Pratt, 38, of Norman, Oklahoma, died Tuesday,
February 25, 2003 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral Services
will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Little Axe
Baptist, Norman, Oklahoma with Reverend Sunny Stuart officiating.
Pallbearers are David Ohse, Richard Ohse, Terry Blanchard, Virgil
Little Charlie, Russell Blanchard, Thomas Goodman. Services are
under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman,
Oklahoma.
Ms. Pratt was born June 11, 1964 in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma, to Roy Edward Pratt and Alice June Gray Pratt. She
graduated from high school at Little Axe, Oklahoma and she attended
Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Ms. Pratt was a
cook at the Thunderbird Casino in Little Axe. She was a member of
the Little Axe Baptist Church.
Ms. Pratt was preceded in death by her father, Roy Edward
Pratt; maternal grandparents, Earl and Dollie Gray; and paternal
grandparents, LeRoy & Lucille Pratt. Survivors include her mother,
Alice June Pratt of Norman; daughter, Rebecca Ann Pratt of the
home; two stepdaughters, Jamie Lynn Ondrejovich and Tracy
Ondrejovich, both of Norman, Oklahoma; five brothers, Roger Pratt
of Norman, James Pratt and wife, Sandy of Toledo, Ohio, Steve Pratt
of Oklahoma City, OK, David Pratt of Norman, OK and William R.
Pratt and wife, Wanda of Norman, OK; and several nieces and
nephews.
