Evelyn Pearl Sanders

Age 81, Fletcher - Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church , Fletcher , with Brother A.L. Swagerty officiating.

Mrs. Sanders died Friday in a local care center.

Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher (formerly Robbins Funeral Home).

She was born March 18, 1925 in Meers to Jesse and Georgia (McClain) Kelley. She married Kenneth C. Sanders on August 8, 1942 in Elgin. Mrs. Sanders was a member of First Baptist Church in Fletcher, where she taught Sunday School. She was also a member of the Women’s Missionary Union and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was a beautician in Fletcher for many years.

Survivors include her husband, of the home, four children and their spouses; Lonnie and Dorothy Sanders, Fletcher, Craig and Elizabeth Sanders, Fletcher, Drew and Nedra Sanders, Marlow and Brett and Robin Sanders, Anadarko, one brother; Neil Kelley, Grand Prairie, Texas, three sisters; Delois Aldridge, Apache, Joann Morgan, Fort Worth, Texas and Martha Miller, Fletcher, thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a daughter; Deanna Kay Sanders, her parents, two brothers; Jesse Kelley, Jr. and Calvin Kelley, and a sister; Rosalee Taylor.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 301 W. Hornaday Ave. Fletcher, Oklahoma 73541.

Lore L. “Hannalore” Fowler

Age 64, Lawton - Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dr. Danny Martin, Chaplain, Hospice of Southwest Oklahoma, officiating.

Mrs. Fowler died Wednesday at her home.

Burial will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5-7 p.m.

She was born in Nuremberg, Germany on July 10, 1942 to Andreas and Josefine (Rohlederer) Raab. She was a member of the German-American Club, The Order of Saint Barbara and Western Hills Christian Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She married Pat Fowler on December 28, 1961 in Nuremberg, Germany.

Survivors include her husband of the home; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Rickey Lee and Nancy Fowler of Richmond, Virginia and Mark Anthony and Kathe Fowler of Port Hart Court, Nigeria; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Lorraine and John Saylor of Lawton; 9 grandchildren, PJ Fowler, Aaron West, Shaun Jackson, Amber Jackson, Ranson Fowler, Charlotte Fowler, Teresa Fowler, Jessica Saylor and Jenny Saylor; and a brother, Peter Raab of Heroldsberg, Germany.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Oklahoma, P.O. Box 2074, Lawton Ok 73502.

Ola Barton

Age 93, Lawton.

Mrs. Barton died Friday in a local care center.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home.

She was born April 5, 1914 in Tennessee to Jim and Lula Morgan McIntyre. She was married to Hiram Barton in Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1951. She was retired from working at a shoe factory in Leachville, Arkansas, and had been a Lawton resident for 14 years coming here from Senath, Missouri.

She is survived by two daughters, Reba L. Walters, Lawton, and Vilda Dowdle, Florence, Mississippi; a sister, Mae Vance, Senath, Missouri; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

A daughter, Mavis Stephens, preceded her in death.

Mary E. “Ess” Gray

Age 83, Sterling - Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the First Assembly of God, Fletcher, with Rev. Robert Whitley, officiating.

Mrs. Gray died Wednesday.

Burial will be in the Sterling Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher (formerly Robbins Funeral Home).

She was born August 28, 1923 in Booneville, Mississippi. She attended school in Booneville and married Clyde Eugene Gray, Sr. in Booneville on March 31, 1945. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1993. She moved to Lawton in 1959 and worked for Ebisch Cleaners for 11 years. She later moved to Sterling in 1973 and had worked as a cook for several Sterling café’s. She was a member of the Assembly of God.

She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Clyde and Rosie Gray, Jr., Sterling and Robert and Kendal Gray, Indiahoma; three daughters and two sons in law, Mary Glascock, Indiahoma, Judy and Paul Carter, Lawton, and Pam and Terry Turner, Fletcher; a brother, J.C. Richey, Mississippi; a sister, Emma, Mississippi; 14 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.

Her parents, four brothers, two sisters and three grandchildren preceded her in death.

Pamela K. Lyle

Age 51, Lawton - Services will be 1:30 PM Monday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.

Ms. Lyle died Thursday.

She was born February 4, 1956 in Oklahoma City to Charles R. and Lois M. (Scarberry) Lyle.

Survivors include four children, Danny Campbell, Rathdrum, Idaho, Robert Campbell, Lexington, LaToya Lyle and Michael Lyle, both of Lawton, a sister, Felicia Bowers, Sacramento, California, three grandchildren, Dion Ferraro, Lawton, Dashaunta Hunt, Glencoe, and Zaine Green, Lawton, two nieces, Stephanie Howard and Vicky Howard, both of Sacramento, California, and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Paralee Howard.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3300 East Sunrise Dr., Tucson, AZ 85718.

Gladys V. McCathern

Age 99, Lawton - Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Gracemont Church of Christ in Gracemont with Bruce Ligon officiating.

Mrs. McCathern died Sunday in Lawton.

Burial will be in Binger-Murray Cemetery in Binger under the direction of Becker Funeral Home, Lawton.

She was born January 27, 1908 in Caddo County, Gracemont, Oklahoma to Silas and Mabel Chrismon. She married Fred McCathern on January 4, 1925 in Edmond. He died in 1985. Mrs. McCathern lived in Gracemont for ninety two years and in Lawton for seven years. She was a member of the Gracemont Church of Christ and University Church of Christ, Lawton, was a homemaker, wonderful mother, seamstress and a cook at Spring Creek School for several years.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd and Myrtle McCathern, Yukon, Marvin and Helen McCathern, Gracemont and Freddy and Patsy McCathern, Gracemont, two daughters and sons-in-law, Violet and Alfred Repp, Velma and Bobby Shook, all of Lawton, a son-in-law, Leon Griffitts, Gracemont, a daughter-in-law, Mary McCathern, Anadarko, twenty four grandchildren, forty two great grandchildren, fourteen great great grandchildren, a brother Kenneth Chrismon and his wife Pansy, Bedford, Texas, a sister, Ellene Stephens, Waterloo, Alabama, a sister-in-law, Mary Chrismon, Decatur, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, three sisters, a son, Glen McCathern, a daughter, Faye Griffitts, a granddaughter, Glenda McCathern and a grandson Leslie McCathern.

Linda Lou Robinson

Age 60, Geronimo - Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Tony Elkins, Pastor, Abundant Life Church, Geronimo, officiating.

Mrs. Robinson died Tuesday in Lawton.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-7 PM.

She was born on March 24, 1947 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Igor and Geraldine (Ricker) Senokosoff. She graduated from Norwich Free Academy in Connecticut. She married Dennis Robinson on November 20, 1965 in New London, Connecticut. She worked for Reynold’s Army Community Hospital for many years in various departments. She volunteered her time with the Fire and Ambulance Service and the Senior Citizens Center in Geronimo.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Robinson of Geronimo; a daughter, Angie Robinson of Lawton; two grandsons, Bryce Robinson and Cody Hagen, both of Lawton; her mother, Geraldine Senokosoff of Tampa, Florida; a brother, Richard Senokosoff of Rock Hill, Connecticut; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan O’Connor and Brian of Long Island City, New York; two nephews, a niece, and a very close friend, Ruth Bell of Lawton.

Her father and former husband preceded her in death.

Alfred W. “Alf” Dye

Age 79, Services will be 10:00 AM Friday in the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, west of Lawton, with Rev. Royce Littrell, Retired Methodist Minister, officiating.

Mr. Dye died Tuesday at his residence.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home.

He was born on September 1, 1924 in London, England to Thomas and Esther (Stonell) Dye. He served in the British Air Force for a number of years before his retirement. He then worked for the Kodak Company for several years before retiring. He married Lahoma Bard on May 1, 1993, west of Lawton. He was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Susan Austin of London, England; a son and daughter-in-law, Robin Dye and Nalini of Kew, England; a son, Ray Bard of Austin, Texas; and a daughter and son-in-law, Kay Roach and Jimmy of Lawton; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 sister and 4 brothers.

His parents and 2 brothers preceded him in death.

A memorial fund has been set up in his name at the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church c/o Lawrence Cassell, 14200 SW Tinney Road, Faxon, Oklahoma 73540.
