CLYDE G. COMBS

TURPIN, Okla. -- Clyde G. Combs, 86, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, in Turpin, Okla.

He was born Jan. 11, 1918, to Claudis and G. and Rhoda C. Saulsbury Combs in Lorena, Okla.

He married Leona M. Pafford Sept. 2, 1945, in Hardesty, Okla. She survives.

He farmed and was also employed at Beech Aircraft.

He enjoyed arts and crafts.

Other survivors include three sons, Clarence Combs and wife JoAnn, Turpin, Okla., Neal Combs and wife Peggiann, Turpin, Okla., M. Jay Combs and wife Mary, Paris, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one daughter.

Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Miller Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Lehnert presiding.

Burial will be at a later date in Independence Cemetery in rural Turpin, Okla.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to service time Saturday.

Memorials are suggested to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and Girls Town or the Turpin Senior Center in care of Miller Mortuary.

LUCILE F. GORDON

Lucile Fern Gordon, 78, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

She was born Nov. 10, 1926, to Amos and Blossom (Miller) DeWolfe in Guymon, Okla.

She married Larry K. Gordon July 26, 1942, in Guymon, Okla. He survives.

She enjoyed reading the Bible, prayer time with her husband and teaching children's Sunday school.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and raising house plants.

Other survivors include two sons, Larry Don Gordon and wife Patsy, Standish, Mich., and Billy Ray Gordon and wife Mary, Standish, Mich.; two daughters, Janice Marie Grice and husband Rance, Kenton, Okla., and Kathy Maier and husband Bill, Guthrie, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marie McWhirter, and one brother, Donald DeWolfe.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bunch-Roberts Chapel with Pastor Jim Sutherland presiding.

Burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice or to the David Wilkerson World Challenge and may be mailed to Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.

JACOB R. HAMMOCK

BEAVER, Okla. -- Jacob Ryan Hammock, infant son of Jessie and Kristi Sperl Hammock, was stillborn Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at Southwest Medical Center.

Survivors include his parents; grandparents, Robin and Luis Gonzalez, Liberal, Carl and Peggy Sperl, Freeport, Texas, and Linnie and Bobbie Hammock, Liberal; great-grandparents, Faye Hammock, Liberal, Ted and Esther Masten, Longmont, Colo., and Elmer and Pauline Smith, Fort Smith, Ark.; great-great-grandparents, Leo and Elouise Trivitt, Hardy, Ark.; one brother, Isaac Hammock of the home; and one sister, Makayla Jensen of the home.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Ralph Hammock.

There are no services planned. Miller Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.

FRANK H. LUMLEY

TYRONE, Okla. -- Frank H. Lumley, 64, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Southwest Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 28, 1940, to Clyde and Mary Smith Lumley in Topeka.

He married Sue Stoker May 28, 1962. She died May 29, 1989.

He then married Nancy L. Dechant Dumler in 1989. She died March 20, 2004.

He was a truck driver for Air Products for 27 years.

Survivors include eight sons, Randy Lumley, El Dorado, Steve Lumley, Canadian, Texas, John Lumley, Garden City, Bo Lumley, Tulsa, Okla., Charlie Lumley, Ada, Okla., Steve Dumler, Mesa, Ariz., Mike Dumler, Tyrone, Okla., Gus Dumler, McKinleyville, Calif., and Charlie Lumley, Ada, Okla.; one daughter, Peggi Franklin, Liberal; 28 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Mike McAndre presiding.

Burial will be at a later date.

NED D. HOLZRICHTER

HOOKER, Okla. -- Ned D. Holzrichter, 73, Hooker, Died Nov. 26, 2004, at his home.

He was born Nov. 26, 1930, to Pete and Ethel (Jacobs) Holzrichter at Epworth Hospital in Liberal.

He married Donna Marie Hofferber October of 1951. She survives.

He joined the U.S. Navy in 1947 and was stationed at Guantanamo Bay in Puerto Rico. In 1950, he was given a hardship discharge because of his fathers ill health, and he returned to Hooker.

He was employed by Natural Gas Pipeline of America for 30 years, retiring in 1986.

His hobbies included fishing, reading and Saturday Night Bingo.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hooker.

He had been in poor health the last two years.

Other survivors include four children, Pamela Grout, Alex Holzrichter, Candace Munson and Paula Nisi; nine granddaughters, Lydia Connelley, Elizabeth and Alison Monk, Alexis, Erin and Samantha Holzrichter, Erica and Olivia Nisi and Molly Grout; and one great-grandson, Mason Yell; one brother, Fred Holzrichter and wife, Norma; three sisters, Helen Moore and husband, Charles, Peggy Dixon and husband, Robert, and Sandra Hofferber; nieces and nephews, Terry and Linda Holzrichter, Tim and Amy Holzrichter, Susan and Jason Ingland, Andrew and Steph Dixon, Eric and Linda Dixon, Marit and Joseph Watson and Kerstin Johnson.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Hooker with the Rev. Thomas House presiding.

Burial was at Lutheran Cemetery in Hooker.

Memorials are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church or the Hooker Little League in care of Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.

HARRY B. STICKLER

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Harry B. Stickler, 76, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, in Oklahoma City.

He was born Sept. 26, 1928, to Roy G. and Nile (Carson) Stickler in Liberal.

He married Patricia Jo Martz Feb. 4, 1951. She survives.

He grew up on farms near Turpin, Okla., and lived there most of his life.

He was a farmer and operated Stickler Dairy and later, ran Diamond S Feeders in rural Turpin.

He relocated to Wynnewood, Okla., to operate Stickler Premium Ostriches for several years. He also owned an ostrich ranch in Africa and quarantine stations in the U.S.

He was a farmer, cattleman and an entrepreneur.

He was a member of Wynnewood Church of Christ in Wynnewood.

Other survivors include two sons, Mike Stickler and wife, Carol, Oklahoma City, and Doug Stickler and wife, Jill, Garland, Texas; two daughters, Peggy Hoshall and husband, C.B., Oklahoma City, and Kathy Faulkner and husband, Les, Springdale, Ark.; two adopted sons, Harlan and Charles Michael; 11 grandchildren, Lenora, Chelli, Kasi, Nicki, Robert, Megan, Meredith, Johanna, Conrad, Abby and John; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Roy Stickler Jr. and wife, Betty, Turpin; his mother-in-law, Mary Martz, Liberal; one brother-in-law, Charles Martz and wife, Cindy, Liberal; and numerous other relatives.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bill Merritt Funeral Services, 6201 N.W. 39th Expressway, Bethany, Okla.

Burial will be at Olive Hill Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to his adopted son's college fund in care of Landmark Bank in Wynnewood

CONCEPCION C. VILLAREAL

BEAVER, Okla. -- Concepcion Castillo Villareal, 71, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at Beaver County Memorial Hospital in Beaver, Okla.

She was born Oct. 10, 1933, to Jesus Castillo Leon and Marcelina Villareal Giron in Ocampo Chih, Mexico.

She married J. Isaac Reynoso Orozco. He survives.

She was a restaurant cook.

Other survivors include five sons, Antonio Reynoso Castillo, Chihuahua, Mexico, Eduardo Reynoso Castillo, Beaver, Okla., Martin Reynoso Castillo, Beaver, Okla., Jaime Reynoso Castillo, San Diego, and Juan F. Lopez, Weatherford, Okla.; three daughters, Socorro Reynoso Castillo, Chihuahua, Mexico, Ofelia Reynoso, Forgan, Okla., Griselda Reynoso Castillo, Chihuahua, Mexico; 23 grandchildren; four brothers, Astolfo, Manuel, Jesus and Salvador; and nine sisters, Maria, Antonia, Zobeida, Magdalena, Lupe, Margarita, Socorro, Rosaura and Marcela.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal.

Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver, Okla.

Friends may visit from 5 to 9 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal.

ALMURTA SHIFLETT

Almurta Shiflett, 101, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at Dunaway Manor in Guymon, Okla.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of Christ in Hooker, Okla., with Neville Buchanan presiding.

Burial will be in the Goodwell Cemetery in Goodwell, Okla.

Memorials are suggested to the Riley and Almurta Shiflett Scholarship for a student attending OPSU, the Westview Boys' Home, Tipton Childrens' Home or a charity of choice and may be left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.
