Ingeborg W. Webb

Age 77, Lawton, Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday at the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, with Rev. Herschel R. Lindsey, Retired Baptist Minister, officiating.

Mrs. Webb died Wednesday at her residence.

Burial will be under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home.

She was born on August 18, 1927 in Bad Kissingen, Germany. She married LTC (Retired) Vincent C. Webb in Germany on September 4, 1954. She retired as a hairdresser after many years.

Survivors include her son, Gerald Webb of Fort Worth, Texas.

Julia Elizabeth Asbery

Age 95, Lawton, Services will be at 1:30 pm Friday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with Dr. R. L. Miller, Independent Assemblies, Lawton, officiating.

Mrs. Asbery died Tuesday in Lawton nursing home.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Lawton, Oklahoma.

She was born June 8, 1909 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Louis and Virdie (Beaty) Hollingsworth. She was one of nine children. She married George Wesley Asbery in Altus, Oklahoma in 1935. She was retired from the Fort Sill Credit Union.

Survivors Include: Husband: George W. Asbery of the home. Sister: Leona Tuttle of Lawton, OK and Numerous Relatives and Friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 Sisters: Lulia, Goldie, Linnie, and Edna. 3 Brothers: Frank, Willie and Roy.

Lloyd Andrew Dayton

Age 87, Lawton - Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at First Baptist East with Rev. Doug Passmore, pastor officiating.

Mr. Dayton died Wednesday in a local hospital.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home.

He was born September 30, 1917 east of Lawton to Algernon and Hazel Goodman Dayton. He married Elwa Woodson on December 25, 1941 in Lawton. Mr. Dayton served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He had worked for L. W. Duncan Printing and Spragues Grocery Store. He retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1976 after 28 years of service. He was a former member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Lawton and the First Baptist Church in Kingston, where he served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and treasurer. He was currently a member of First Baptist East. Mr. Dayton enjoyed golfing and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, of the home, children and their spouses; Darrell and Loretta Dayton, Lawton, Linda and Don Daigle, Houston, Texas, Elaine and Gene Simmons, Lawton, Bobby Dayton, Lawton, Marilyn and Rick Kitzrow, Lawton, Mary Sue Morin, Henderson, Nevada, Debbie and Charles Duggar, Duncan, and Neal and Bonnie Dayton, Lawton, grandchildren and their spouses; Leesa Johnson, Mikie Salazar, Mark Simmons, David and Melanie Simmons, Brent and Karen Dayton, Chad Dayton, Todd Dayton, Bryan and Susan Kitzrow, Emily Kitzrow, Philip Champouillon, Shannon and Kris Anton, and Brandi Dayton, great grandchildren; Justin and Tiffany Bradley, Kasie Johnson, Tami Johnson, John Ryan Salazar, Jeremy Salazar, Jordan Simmons, Adam Simmons, Jacob DeHaven, Jonathan Kitzrow, Rebekah Kitzrow, Joshua Kitzrow, Sage Anton, and Kristopher Anton, a great great grandchild; Amiee Bradley, two sisters; Zona Wilson, Edmond, and Helen Elek and her husband Joe, Dallas, and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by a brother; Keith Dayton.

John C. Marco

Age 65, Lawton - Services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Lawton, with Rev. Mark Henslee, Pastor, officiating.

Mr. Marco died Saturday in Dallas, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Funeral Home.

He was born January 5, 1940 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Charlie and Myrtle LaVera (Hodson) Marco. He attended McAlester Public Schools graduating 1958. He entered the Army serving from October 1961 to November 1963. He moved to Lawton in 1963 where he married Billie Jean Crowder on December 20, 1964 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She preceded him in death on June 20, 2003. He then married Susie Parr on January 1, 2005 in Lawton. He began working for Milo Gordon Chrysler-Plymouth in July 1968 serving as general manager until his retirement in February 2004. He served as the past worshipful master of Mt. Scott Lodge 540 in 2001 and past worshipful master of Triangle Lodge 548 in 2005. Upon his death he was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife of the home, three children; Michael Crowder, Barbara Ann Crowder Christi, and Dustin Marco and his wife Rachael, all of Lawton, a step-daughter; Lori PaskVan and her husband Damon, of Jenks, two brothers; Andy Marco and Frank Marco, both of McAlester, two sisters; Nora Marco and Lucy Allen, both of McAlester, six grandchildren; Clayton and Sara Stonerock, Tristan and Blakelee Marco, all of Lawton, and Zachary and Max PaskVan, both of Jenks, two great grandchildren; Alisha and Kadden Stonerock, both of Durant.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

MSG (Retired) Louis L. Cain

Age 76, Lawton - Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joseph C. McGrew, Jr., Good Shepherd Worship Center, Louisville, Kentucky officiating.

Sgt Cain died Saturday in a local hospital.

Burial with full military honors will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

He was born May 7, 1929 in Gadsden, Alabama. He married Mary E. McGrew on December 3, 1953 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Sgt Cain served two tours each in Korea, Vietnam, and Germany. He also taught maintenance at Fort Sill for two years. He retired from the Army after 22 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, of the home, two brothers, James A. Cain, Gadsden, Alabama, and Franklin R. Cain, of Washington.

Alice Mary Rainer

Age 84, former Lawton resident, Lawrence, Kansas - Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Thursday in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Rainer died Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas.

Burial will be under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home.

She was born on September 3, 1921 in Somerville, New Jersey to Elijah Creveling and Doris (Helfrich) Hoffman. She graduated with a degree in Nursing from the New York Presbyterian Hospital. She joined the Navy and worked as a public health nurse for two years. She married COL (Retired) Mark A. Rainer, Jr. on January 11, 1945 in New York City, New York. She worked as a United States Marine Corps officer’s wife for the next 53 years until he passed away on June 13, 1998. She was a member of the Western Hills Christian Church and spent many years delivering Meals on Wheels.

Survivors include four children, Cheryl A. Rainer Harmon of Lawrence, Kansas, Cynthia L. Rainer Raglin of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Mark A. Rainer of Dallas, Texas, and Michael C. Rainer of Norman; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Brandonwoods Employee Fund, 1501 Inverness Drive, Lawrence, Kansas 66049.

Mary Ann Weske

Age 73, Lawton - Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday in the Northwest Baptist Church with Dr. William Sprague, Pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Weske died Monday at her home.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home.

She was born on July 28, 1933 in Watervliet, Michigan to Marcus Courtney and Anna Mae (Cobbler) Little. She married William I. Weske on June 14, 1953 in Owatanna, Minnesota. She was a member of Northwest Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Charlaine Patterson and Rodney of Fort Worth, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, William I. Weske, Jr. and Lauri of Wichita Falls, Texas and David M. Weske and Kathleen of Marlow; five grandchildren, Dana and Jason Vardeman and Courtney, David and Drew Weske; a great granddaughter, Brynlee Vardeman; her mother, Anna Mae Little of Lawton; a brother, Mark C. Little, Jr. of Kansas City, Kansas; and a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Chuck Johns of Warrensburg, Missouri.

Her father and a grandson, Denton Mark Weske, preceded her in death

Virginia “Ginger” Edens

Age 82, Lawton - Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church with The Rev. William B. Carlin, III, Rector, officiating.

Mrs. Edens died Monday in a local care center.

Inurnment will be in the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Columbarium under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home.

She was born December 24, 1923 in Collierville, Tennessee. She grew up in Tennessee where she graduated high school. She attended Gulf Park College in Mississippi before transferring to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She later earned her teaching certificate from OCLA at Chickasha. She was retired from the Lawton Public School System for twenty years having taught English at Eisenhower High School. She married William Harry Edens on November 9, 1968 in Lawton.

She was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, the Professional Educator’s Association of Lawton and the Retired Teacher’s Association.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Sally Shalvey, Lone Tree, Colorado, and Molly Churchill, Edwards, Colorado; a step son, Mark Edens, Plano, Texas; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Kirk, Mark, Paul, Nathan, Spencer and Christian.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, the Lawton Public School Foundation or to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.

MSG (Retired) Wayne H. Pennington

Age 89, Lawton - Funeral service with Masonic Rites will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Trinity Baptist Church with Abe Deutschendorf, officiating.

Sergeant Pennington died Friday in a local care facility.

Burial with full military honors will be at the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma under the direction of Becker Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born on June 28, 1917 in Inola, OK to Frederick and Lena (Coker) Pennington. He enlisted in the army prior to World War II and fought in the battle for the Philippines where he was captured and spent 3 years in a Japanese POW camp. He earned the Purple Heart, the Bronze Service Star, and the Philippine Defense Ribbon with 1 Bronze Star. He retired from the army in August of 1972. He married Marbara Armstrong in Okmulgee, OK on October 5, 1946. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, and the Mount Scott Masonic Lodge # 540.

Survivors include his wife of the home; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Mike Toole of Madison, AL, and Karen (Penny) and Ron Sinquefield of Hurst, TX; 3 grandsons, David Toole, Ryan and his wife Kimberly Toole, and Dylan Pilkington; a great grandson, Hunter Lee Pilkington; and 2 sisters, Betty Lee Shideler and Doris Lee Hale.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Charles Russell, Fred Pennington, and James Pennington.
