Floyd

Joe Mac Floyd age 64, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2006, at the Jackson County
Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma.

He was born June 25, 1942, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He was the son of Robert and Loraine (Stallings) Floyd.
In his youth, he worked construction on grain elevators. He joined the United States Marine Corp where he proudly
served his country. During his service in the Marine Corp, he was a Marine Corp recruiter for the state of New
Mexico. He served three tours of duty in Vietnam where he received two Purple Hearts for his actions. He was also
stationed in Hawaii and Pensacola, Florida. Joe Mac was honorably discharged after twenty years one month and
one day, having gone in as a enlisted man and retiring as a captain with honors.

He received the Purple Heart Medal W-1, Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Mast, Combat Action Ribbon,
Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal w-2, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w-1,
Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w-palm, Republic of Vietnam meritorious Unit Citation Civil Action 1st Class w-palm,
Republic of Vietnam Compaign Medal w-date.

Joe Mac was married to Gladys Darlene Mitchell on June 28, 1963, in Albuquerque, New Mexico and to this
union two children were born.

He attended the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and pastored churches in Alabama, Florida and
Oklahoma. Joe Mac was currently a member of the First Baptist Church in Altus. In recent years, he had served as
Interim Pastor for several churches in this area and conducted many revivals.

He graduated from the Police Academy and was a deputy for the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, as well as for
the Blair and Olustee Police Departments. He was a member of the Paint Horse Association and the American
Quarter Horse Association.

Joe Mac was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother, John Harlan.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Karon of the home. He is survived by; two children, Tammy Sue Little and
husband Charles of Lake Wales, Florida and Rickey Wayne Floyd and wife Rachel of Pace, Florida; three
grandchildren, Emily Little, Heidi Little, and Rebeccah Little; three sisters, Jacquetta Ryan and Bobbe Sue Wilson
and husband Paul, all of Altus and Hazel Fraizer of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and his very special friends, Jerry Stevens
and wife Joy and Leon Owens, all of Altus. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 2, 2006, at the Lowell-Tims Chapel
with Dr. Jeff Moore and Reverend Roy McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Tipton Cemetery under the
direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. The family will receive guests from 6 until 7 pm, Wednesday evening at the
Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association
specifically toward Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Research in memory of Joe Mac Floyd.

FORD

Adaline Mae Ford, age 81 of Altus, passed away Monday, May 1, 2006, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Ford was born on February 2, 1925 in Frederick, Oklahoma to William Raymond “Dutch” and Fanny (Davis)
Cullen. She moved to Altus at an early age and attended Altus Schools, graduating from Altus High School in
1943. A member of the First Christian Church, she was an avid Oklahoma University fan and participated in any
activity involving OU. She attended UCLA and OU and married George Perley Ford in Altus in 1948. A longtime
employee of Civil Service, Mrs. Ford spent over twenty-eight years working in the finance office at Altus Air Force
Base and later worked at the Altus Air Force Base Hospital.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson, Matthew Mercer and a brother Harry Ellis, she is
survived by three children, George Ford and wife Connie of San Jose, California, Jim Ford and wife Kathy of
Astoria, Oregon and Jan Ford of Altus; eight grandchildren, Misty Graham of Seminole, Texas, Lindy Cortez of
Altus, Jim Ford of Florida, Dina Augustine of Larned, Kansas, Derek Ford of San Jose, California, Meredith
Mercer of Altus, William Ford of Altus and Audrey Ford of San Jose, California; seven great grandchildren, Dylan
Cortez of Altus, Abigail Graham and Chandler Graham of Seminole, Texas, Rylee Cortez and Courtlynn Erb of
Altus and Makenzy Augustine and Kaleb Augustine of Larned, Kansas.

Funeral services for Adaline Mae Ford will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Lowell-Tims Funeral
Home Chapel with Mark Morey officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Lawton under the
direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.

The family of Adaline Ford will greet friends at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 from 6
until 8 p.m.

Ford

George Raymond Ford, age 57, of Altus, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008, at his residence.

George was born April 29, 1951, in Altus, Oklahoma, to George Perley and Adaline (Cullen) Ford. He was a
1969 Altus High School graduate where he was a lineman for the state champion Bulldogs football team. George
received an academic and football scholarship upon graduation and continued to play football at the University of
Oklahoma before deciding to focus solely on his academic endeavors. He transferred to Southwestern Oklahoma
State University where he graduated in 1973 with a degree in microbiology. He worked as a lab technician at
Comanche County Memorial Hospital after graduation. He left Lawton, Oklahoma, to work as Director of the lab at
Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

He met his wife, Connie Stanfill, a registered nurse, and they married on January 11, 1984, in Altus,
Oklahoma. They moved to San Jose, California, where he went to work as head of the lab at San Mateo County
Hospital. He retired from there in 2005. George was heavily involved with his three children’s BMX competitions.
They spent many years traveling the world and were successful with numerous state, national, and world titles.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Connie Stanfill-Ford of San Jose, California; a
son, George William Ford of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Audrey Ann Ford of San Jose, California; and a son,
Derek William Stanfill-Ford, also of San Jose; a brother, Jim Ford of Lebanon, Oregon; a sister, Jan Ford of Altus,
and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial Services for George Ford will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008, at Lowell-Tims Chapel in
Altus with Reverend Mark Morey, Pastor of the First Christian Church in Hobart, officiating. Following the service,
the family will greet friends at the home of George’s sister, Jan Ford.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Humane Society, Altus Parks, or any youth
organization.

Rev. Eugene Foreman

Rev. Eugene Foreman, or “Rusty” as he was affectionately called in the area, was born at McQueen,
Oklahoma, November 10, 1923 to Hugh and M.E. (Hickerson) Foreman. He died February 17,2007 at Jackson
County Memorial Hospital at the age of 83.

Mr. Foreman graduated from Duke High School as Valedictorian in 1941 and from Oklahoma Baptist
University in 1945, where he served as Senior Class President. He continued his theological training at Central
Baptist Seminar, in Kansas City, Kansas where he received his Bachelor of Divinity and Master of Theology
degrees, Magna Cum Laude. He further completed all of the residence requirements for his Doctor of Theology
degree in 1957.

While a student at O.B.U., Mr. Foreman was called to serve as Pastor of a mission near El Reno on March
8,1942, and later at Dale, where he also temporarily taught in the high school. While in graduate studies he
served a rural church in Camden Point, Missouri. Following his seminary studies he served only two churches
during a span of forty years: the Monroe Avenue Baptist Church of Kansas City and the Boulevard Baptist
Church of Falls Church, Virginia. During this forty year ministry period Mr. Foreman served on innumerable
committees and boards of the local, state and national denominational groups. Among those that Mr. Foreman
considered as most rewarding were his participation in preaching missions in Cuba, Hawaii, Alaska and seven
countries in South America. Also he was one of the joint-organizers of the Pastoral Counseling and Consultation
Centers of greater Washington, D.C. This is a certified and licensed Christian counseling ministry operated from
an evangelical perspective. At the time of Mr. Foreman’s retirement he wa serving as Vice-Chairman of the Board
of Directors which operated twenty-two centers in the Washington, D.C. area. Reminiscing on his retirement
ministry, he considered his serving eleven churches in Southwest Oklahoma as Interim Pastor to be a most
enjoyable climax to a ministry of sixty-three years.

Eugene married Vesta Mae Henricksen of El Reno August 31, 1943. One daughter, Vicki Kay, was born to
this union in 1945. Following his wife’s death he married Gladys Roberson of Altus, in 1987.

Those celebrating Eugene’s promotion to go and be with the Lord include his wife, Gladys, of the home;
daughter Vicki Fussell and husband Wes, of Hernando, Florida; step-daughter, Marilyn Reed and husband,
Leroy, of Altus; foster daughter, Beverly Rey, of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Tracy Ferrara and
husband, Bill, of Ocoee, Florida; Dana Fussell of Tampa, Florida; Scott Fussell and wife, Kobi, of Cedar Creek
Texas; one step-grandson, Rex Roberson and wife Lisa, of Duke, Oklahoma; and three foster grandchildren, Lori
Givan and husband Gene, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Kristi Martin of Kansas City, Missouri, Lynn Dee Wilson and
husband Mark, of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Bonnie Perryman and husband Fred, of Duke, Oklahoma,
Metta Ruth Craft and husband,Lester, of Ada, Oklahoma; and Hughla Foreman of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also
survived by nine great-grandchildren and a host of wonderful friends.

Celebration of Life Services will commemorate his on going at the First Baptist Church in Altus; Tuesday,
February 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Jeff Moore and Rev. Ralph Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at 2:
30 p.m. at the Frisco Cemetery N.E. of El Reno, Oklahoma.

The family of Rev. Eugene Foreman will greet friends Monday, evening February 19, 2007 6:30 p.m. to 8:00
p.m. at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Cemetery c/o Reid Warren, Duke, Oklahoma 73532, or to
First Baptist Church, Youth Ministry, Box 665, Altus, Oklahoma 73521.

FORSTER

Bayliee Hannahh Forster, age 4 of Blair, passed away early Friday morning, May 19, 2006 as the result of a
tragic motor vehicle accident north of Altus.

Bayliee was born on January 21, 2002 in Altus to Stephanie (Rush) Forster and Andrew Burc. A very vibrant and
happy little girl, Bayliee enjoyed playing with her friends and family.

Preceded in death by her great grandmother, Drucilla Nall, Bayliee is survived by her mother, Stephanie Forster
of Blair; father, Andrew Burc of Granite; one brother, Kade Forster of Blair; grandparents, D’Anne Sirmons of
Mangum and Larry and Margaret Allison of Altus; great grandfather, Cecil Nall of Mangum; two uncles, Timmy
Rush of Stringtown, Oklahoma and Christopher Rush of Mangum; two aunts, Valincia Cotner of Altus and Tara
Burc of San Antonio, Texas; one cousin, Kylie Todd of Altus and a host of many very special other family
members and friends.

Funeral services for Bayliee Hannahh Forster will be Friday, May 26, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Lowell-Tims Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. George Lupton officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the
direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.

Gladys Bolivia Foster

Gladys Bolivia Foster, 89 died Thursday, January 27, 2005 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Funeral services will be held at Lowell-Tims Chapel on Monday, January 31, 2005 at 2:00 pm, with Dr. Jeff
Moore officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery.
Gladys was born to Dan and Mable Mayrhofen June 13, 1915 in Fuel, Oklahoma in Carter County. They moved
east of Altus on a farm in the Ozark community where Gladys and her sisters, Lola Mable and Ruby attended
Ozark school. Gladys attended Ozark High School reunions for over twenty years where she enjoyed her many
friends and acquaintances. She married James Neil Foster in 1933 in Altus, Oklahoma. James was a deacon at
First Baptist Church Altus where Gladys was active in the W.M.U. and Girls Auxilliary for many, many years.
James and Gladys were instrumental in forming the first Spanish Mission, east of town, for Altus First Baptist in
the 1950’s. She sought out the Spanish youth and taught their week-day Bible classes for many years. She and
James, along with two other deacon families, constructed and began a Southern Baptist Mission in the Pagosa
Springs,Colorado area for the Native Americans. Her work with Women’s Missions and Girls Auxilliary was
selfless, tireless and constantly dedicated.
She worked at Russell’s Department Store, Wilson’s Dry Good, The Surrey Shop, and Watkins Department
Store through the 1970’s until her retirement. Working with the public gave her much pleasure. Gladys was a
devoted mother, wife, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She and James had four children, Jean Kaye,
Winston Fred, James Read, and Jerry Niel Foster. Preceding her in death was her husband James, January 4,
1977 and son, Jerry Niel on July 4, 1997 and one great-granddaughter Maggy Grace Espinosa. Also
preceding her in death were her parents and two sisters, Lola Mable Morris and Ruby Chisholm.
She is survived by three children, Jean Kaye and Avery Braziel, Altus, and grandchildren Kelli Jeanine and
Jaime Danielle of Wichita Falls, Texas; Winston Fred and Sylvia Foster, and grandchildren Stacy Kay Foster-
Espinosa and husband Jimmy of Frederick, and F. Scott Foster and wife Kimberly of Houston, Texas, two great-
granddaughters, Abby Elise Espinosa of Frederick and Katie Victoria Foster of Houston, Texas; son, James
Read and Linda Foster, Altus, and grandson Russell Read and wife Lisa Foster of Oklahoma City. She is also
survived by step-grandchildren, Craig Richardson, Terry and Tim Sinard, step great-grandchildren Ryan and
Tyler Sinard of Altus, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Amanda, Cassie, Alyssa, and Wesley Foster, Kingman,
Arizona who survive son, Jerry Niel Foster. She is also survived by many friends and loving church family.
Contributions may be made to the Altus First Baptist Church in memory of Gladys Bolivia Foster.

FOX

Alice Margaret Beaty Fox was called home Thursday, July 5, 2007, by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She
was born June 10, 1922 at Hollis, OK to Claud C. and Bertie R. (Gaddis) Beaty. In addition to her parents, she
was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Gertrude Beaty, Jay and Geneva Swaffar, and 3 brothers, Carl, John A. and
James W. Beaty. She has 1 surviving sister, Lois Kirby of Lampasas, Texas.
Alice married Arlist Fox on March 9, 1958 and they were the proud parents of Donna Sue and Bert Lynn. She
spent her life serving others—in cafes, at church, in others’ homes, and especially in her own home. Her love
for children was apparent in the 23 years she spent as a children’s Sunday School teacher at Altus First Baptist
Church. In addition to raising her own children, she spent many a day nurturing working-parents’ children as
well as entertaining numerous nieces and nephews in the summertime.
Alice is survived by Bert and Judy Fox, Travis and Donna Fox Galloway, 4 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 3 great-
grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A loving mother, a devoted wife, a loyal sister, a
nurturing aunt, a forever friend she will be GREATLY missed!
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, July 13th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., and funeral services will be
Saturday, July 14th at 3:00 p.m., both at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to either the children’s ministry at the First Baptist Church of Altus,
300 N. Main, Altus, OK 73521, or Hospice of Southwest Oklahoma, 1930 N.W. Ferris, Suite 5, Lawton, OK 73507.

Nancy K. Fox

Nancy K. Fox, age 60, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away February 28, 2004 at Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Funeral Services are set for 2:00pm Monday, March 1, 2004 at Lowell-Tims Chapel, Altus Oklahoma. Burial will
be at the Navajo Cemetery, Navajo, Oklahoma.

Nancy was born on September 19, 1943 at Altus, Oklahoma to R.C and “Snorts” Campbell (Anderson). She
attended Altus High School, Cameron University, and Florida Baptist College. Nancy was married to Ed Fox on
January 6, 1968, in Vernon, Texas.

She is survived by her husband Dr. Ed Fox, Two sons, Tony Fox and wife Julie of Little Rock, Arkansas and
Todd Fox and wife Laura of Smyrna, Delaware; 5 grandchildren, Victoria, Nicholas, Summer, Travis & Tyler. Also
surviving her, are Stepfather, Eugene Anderson of Altus, Ok, one sister, Brenda Petzold of Wichita Falls, TX, one
brother, Cooper Campbell of Blair, OK. Nancy is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Floyd “Sandy” Frazier

Floyd "Sandy" Frazier, 62, lost his battle with cancer on Friday, October 6, 2006.
He is survived by his wife Ruby, his daughter Patricia and her husband Joshua McMaster of Altus, and his sister
Beulah and brothers George and Frank of Kingfisher.
Sandy was a 23 year veteran of the Air Force and worked for Flight Safety 20 years. Sandy was an OU
Sooners fan and attended every Altus Bulldogs football game. He also loved to go fishing and was looking
forward to going fishing with his son-in-law when he got well enough. Sandy was a giving and thoughtful
husband and father who would do anything for his wife of 36 years and his daughter. He was loved by
everyone who knew him and liked by everyone he met. He spent his free time watching college football and
taking care of his lawn and his cats. The family wishes to have donations, gifts, etc. be in monetary form and
given to Altus Animal Aid or the Altus Animal Shelter in his name.
There are no services scheduled.
