Mage H. Keyser

Age 88, Lawton - Services will be 2;00 PM Friday at Westwood Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin McCurdy, pastor and Rev. Herschel R. Lindsey officiating.

Mr. Keyser died Wednesday.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home.

He was born January 19, 1919 in Columbus, Ohio to Henry H. and Pearl (Thomas) Keyser. He married Phyllis Jefferies on September 9, 1945 in Pampa, Texas. Mr. Keyser served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a retired sheet metal worker. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church, American Legion, Forty & Eight and the Masonic Lodge in Pampa.

Survivors include his wife, of the home, four children, Mage D. Keyser, of the home, Larry Keyser and his wife Deborah, Dallas, Texas, Hal Keyser and his wife Charlotte, Davenport, Iowa and Phillis Baker, Oklahoma City, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

MSG (Retired) Elton Ludwig

Age 80, Lawton - Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Jack Darnell, pastor, First Church of God, officiating.

Sergeant Ludwig died Friday at his residence.

Burial with full military honors will be in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill.

He was born May 16, 1926 in Oakland Mills, Maryland, to Lawrence Elton and Christina J. Tillman Ludwig. He married Madge E. Gross on April 29, 1950 at Van Buren, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on July 31, 1981. He grew up and attended school in Sykesville, Maryland. Following graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army retiring May 31, 1972 at Fort Sill after more than 27 years service. He was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. His awards include the Bronze Star Medal with one oak leaf cluster, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal with three battle stars, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal (Korea), National Defense Medal, Korean Service Medal with star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Cross of Gallantry from Vietnam. During Vietnam he earned his wings.

Following his retirement he worked for Pinkerton Security Services and then for ten years with the Comanche County Soil Conservation. He was a member of 40 et 8 and the American Legion.

He is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Garry Elton and Sandra Ludwig, Houston, and Larry and Janet Ludwig, Lawton; five grandchildren and spouses, Nathaniel and Lauren Ludwig, Christopher Ludwig, Kyle Ludwig, Candace and Clay Lowe, and Jessica and Kellan Fortney; two great granddaughters; a sister, Cecelia May Shipley, Sikesville, Maryland; three brothers, Charles W. Ludwig, Curtis A. Ludwig and William T. Ludwig, all of Sikesville; numerous family and friends.

A step daughter, Margaret Louise Gray, and a sister, Rita, preceded him in death.

Claudia Eulene Sakers

March 21, 1951 - January 11, 2008

Age 56, Lawton - Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Larry Toma, Pastor of the First Assembly of God, Elgin, officiating.
Mrs. Sakers died Friday at her home.
Arrangements are with the Becker Funeral Home.
She was born March 21, 1951 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Marvin and Patsy (Pryor) Morton. She married John Sakers on March 6, 1970 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of the home; 2 daughters, Michelle Anders of Lawton and Patty Cunningham of Elgin; a granddaughter, ShaeLynn Rios of Elgin; a grandson, Branton Jones of Elgin; her mother, Patsy Morton of Lawton; and 2 sisters, Janie Ewanco of Fort Worth, Texas and Shirley Stouffer of Loveland, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her father.

Pierson

Robert (Bob) Lawson Pierson, 89, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder. He was born June 1, 1915, in Greer County to Ernest and Clara (Hughes) Pierson. Bob had lived in the Mangum area since 1996. He had moved here from Dumas, Texas, after his wife passed away. His wife Grace died in 1996. They had been married since 1977. Bob was a retired auto mechanic, worked on ranches in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana, and spent time with the Mangum Coffee Shop Crowd. A graduate of East View School and a member of the Church of Christ, Bob served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He is survived by his step children, Eugene Blair, Joyce Overton, Dortha Gilliland, all of Arkansas, Billie Woolsey, Mary York, Glenda Simmons, all of Texas, and eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Pete Pierson, Bud Pierson, Gene Pierson, Leroy Pierson, and one sister, Pauline Kirby.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, at the Mangum Church of Christ. Officiating will be Mr. Roger Todd, Mr. Todd Mcray and Mr. Jim York. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Mangum. Funeral services are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home in Mangum.

White

Bob Royal White, 68, died Aug. 2, 2004, at Comanche Memorial Hospital in Lawton. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, at Stewart Funeral Chapel in Hollis with Brother Bob Garton and Harlan Cary officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Hollis. Services are under the direction of Stewart Funeral Service of Hollis.

Bob was born May 31, 1936, in Hollis to Claud and Mahota Royal White. He married Lou Ann Payne on Sep. 9, 1961, in Harmon County. Bob had lived in Harmon County for most of his live. He graduated from Hollis High School and Southwestern Oklahoma State University and then he taught school for one year before becoming a farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hollis. He loved farming with his family most of all and he enjoyed being with his children, grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Mr. White is survived by his wife Lou Ann White of Hollis; two sons, Bobby Ray White and wife Kathy of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Brent White and Sheri of Hollis; one daughter, Lesia Smith and Todd of Paducah, Texas; brother, Hardy White and wife Corlis of San Angelo, Texas; two sisters, Claudette Coaly of New Castle, and Sherry Webb and husband Ron of Hollis; and brother-in-law Al Overly of Quarryville, Pa.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Claud and Mahota White; stepmother, Dorothy White and sister, Barbara Overly.

Theis

Thomas J. Theis of Lone Wolf, was born Jan. 15, 1920, in Limon, Colo., to Florida and Louie Theis and passed away August 3, 2004 at his home in Lake George, Colo., at the age of 84 years. He was married to Mary (Work) Theis and had been a flight dispatcher in the U.S. Air Force. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of First Christian Church in Lone Wolf.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home; four sons, Joe Theis of Portland, Ore.; Larry Theis of Rochester, Minn. and Bob Theis of Kensington, Calif., and Dick Theis of Montague, Mass.; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services for Thomas J. Theis will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 7, 2004, at First Christian Church, officiated by DeWayne Wright. Burial will be at Lone Wolf Cemetery under the direction of People's Cooperative Funeral Home.

Doughten

Lena Hankins Doughten, 88, of Eldorado, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at her home. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, at the Eldorado Cemetery with Bill Osborne officiating.

Lena was born July 24, 1916, in Jackson County to Charlie Emmerson and Rosa Lillian (Collett) Hankins. She attended Lincoln Schools. She married Guy Doughten on Valentine's Day in 1938. To this union, two children were born.

Lena worked hard at the family farm side by side with her husband. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking. She loved her Lord and was a faithful member of the Eldorado Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Doughten, her parents, her sister, Flavel Cotton, a son-in-law, Delbert Smith and a nephew, Farrell Sherwood.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice Reynolds and husband Arlin of Olustee; her son, Charles Doughten and wife Floy of Grand Prairie, Texas; seven grandchildren, Debbie Baldwin of Olustee, Tracy Smith and wife Amber and Rhonda Osborne, all of Lawton, Beverly Crampton and husband Chad of Duncan, Jeff Reynolds and wife Cindy of Lawton, Marcie Spivach and husband Brent of Amarillo, Texas, and Tim Doughten of Grand Prairie, Texas; ten great-grandchildren; a niece, Thelma Gunkel of Eldorado; and a nephew, Dale Sherwood of Quanah, Texas

Dillard Foy Allen

Dillard Foy Allen, 89, Altus, died Tuesday September 7, 2004 at the Plantation Village Nursing Center. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 10, 2004 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Dillard Allen was born November 3, 1914 in Tishomingo, OK to Hatton Amos and Lela Bell (Johnson) Allen. He attended Headrick and Ozark schools. He married Myrtle L. Bogue on September 30, 1950 in Vernon, TX. To this union, eight children were born. He worked for Orville Sanders and Flash Gordon as a truck driver and crane operator for Southwest Metal Trade for over twenty two years. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a member of the Thomas St. Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Patricia Barnett; a grandson, Jason Adams; a great granddaughter, Amy Burns; three sisters, Lona Inklebarger, Lucille Allen and Coleen Norton and two brothers, Willard and Herman Allen.

He is survived by his wife of fifty four years, Myrtle of the home; two daughters, Linda Barnes of Joplin, MO and Martha Maurine Washburn of Denison, TX; five sons, Dillard Arnold Allen of Dallas, TX, W. Lynn Allen of Caldwell, TX, William R 'Bill' Allen of Eagan, MN, Russell L. Allen of Blanchard, OK andd Leslie D. Allen of TX; a sister, Elise McCaslan of Altus, OK; twenty one grandchildren; forty two great grandchildren and a special friend Cole Childers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Ricardo M. Gloria

Ricardo M. Gloria, 54, of Sioux City, Iowa died Friday, September 17, 2004 at a Sioux City hospital. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Larkin Northside Funeral Home in Sioux City with Rev. Paul Gloria, brother of the deceased, officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Restlawn Cemetery in Altus under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Ricardo was born on August 18, 1950 in McCulloch, Texas to Jose S. and Dominga A. (Martinez) Gloria. He moved to Sioux City 12 years ago from Altus. He married Rosemary Orona Davidson on June 6, 2000 in Elk Point, South Dakota. He had been employed for a number of years as a security person for the North Kansas City Parks and Recreation Service. Because of health reasons, he was retired but was active in helping people in the community with translating and assisting in any way he could. He was of the Penticostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Florentino Gloria; and two sisters, Josephina Lindo and Maria Vega.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; his children, Rominga Alrams and her husband, Jason, Relina Radson and her husband, John; Ravis Gloria, Teresa Juarez and her husband, Joe; Marianne Davidson, Michael Davidson and his wife, Jeannette and Dorothy Seafford and her husband, Robert; his brothers and sisters, Paul Gloria and his wife, Connie, Jessie Gloria and his wife, Janie; Edward Gloria and his wife, Marvetta; Rosa Trevino and her husband, Robert; Raymond Gloria and his wife, Julie; Linda Hernandez and Janie Montalbo and her husband, Gilbert; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Claudine Jenkins

Claudine Jenkins, 85, died Saturday, September 25, 2004 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2004 at St. John's Baptist Church in Walterboro, South Carolina with Rev. Prince Polite officiating. Burial will follow services at the Woodfoot Cemetery in Neyles, S.C. under the direction of Mungo Funeral Home in Walterboro, S.C. Viewing and visitation for family and friends in Altus will be be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kincannon Funeral Home. Kincannon Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Claudine was born July 29, 1919 in Colleton CO, SC to Arthur and Linda (Fishburn) Alls. She attended school in Walterboro, SC. She married David Jenkins on Colleton CO, SC in 1936. He preceded her in death in 1945. She worked in maid service and housekeeping for over forty years until her retirement in 1970. She moved to Altus from Walterboro in 1992. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing, quilting and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the St. John's Baptist in Walterboro, SC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David; her parents; three sons, Marion Alls, Benjamin Jenkins and Joe Lewis Jenkins; one brother, Oliver Alls and two sisters, Hattie Mae Daniel and Leola Allen.

She is survived by three sons, Harry Jenkins and wife Rose of Altus, OK, Leon Jenkins and wife Sarah of Walterboro, SC and Jimmy Lee Jenkins and wife LaQuita of Oklahoma City, OK; one brother, Herman Alls of Walterboro, SC; 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Evangelina "Eva" Paniagua

Evangelina "Eva" Paniagua, 67, Altus, died Saturday, September 11, 2004 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Altus with Adrian Marshall and Robert Forks officiating. Burial will follow services at the Granite City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

She was born on October 18, 1936 in Mathis, Texas to Jose and Dolores (Torres) Estraca. She attended school in Mathis. She married Lino Andres Paniagua on June 22, 1983 in Altus, Oklahoma. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for over 20 years. She worked at English Village Nursing Center for over 10 years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness Church in Altus. She was a hard worker who enjoyed cooking, singing, dancing, music, quilting, sewing, crocheting, reading, arts and crafts, crossword puzzles, drawing and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Jose Maria Estraca and a son Baldomar Andres Paniagua.

She is survived by her husband; her mother; four daughters, Linda Martinez, Albany, Oregon; Delia Flores Montes, Sentinel, Ok; Vera Booker, Lawton, Ok; Rachel Morgan, Weed, Ca; one son Joel Gabriel Paniagua of McCombs, MS; five sisters, Antonia Ontiveros, Magdelena Carrillo, Gloria Boelte, Estella Stone, and Janie Hamblin; three brothers, Jose Maria Estraca, Domingo Estraca and Sabino Estraca; ten grandchildren, and many friends.
