LEWTON

Dorothy Lewton, age 95, long time resident of Altus, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2007, at the
Henryetta Medical Center.

Mrs. Lewton was born on September 8, 1912, in Onida, South Dakota to Ellis and Minnie Schriever. She
was raised on a farm where her parents worked and was very proud of her German heritage. Leaving South
Dakota at a young age, she moved to California where she became a riveter on B17’s, for Douglas Aircraft,
during the war. In the late 1940’s, she married Austin Lewton, Sr., in Long Beach, California, who was a
member of the United States Army. Austin’s military service soon took them to Ft. Sill, Oklahoma where he
was discharged. In 1947, they moved to Altus and Dorothy began cooking with twenty-five of those years
cooking at the Friendship Inn. She moved to Henryetta earlier this year to be near her son, for health
reasons.

Preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters, she is survived by two children, Carol Buck and husband
Charles of Orlando, Florida and Austin Lewton of Henryetta, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Elizabeth
Roberts of England, Christopher Snider, Jonathan Snider and Michael Snider all of Fairfield, Texas along
with many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Dorothy Lewton will be at 3 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2007, at the Altus City
Cemetery with Jerry Don Henry officiating. Services are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of
Altus.

LILIENTHAL

Louise Worley Lilienthal, age 62 of Altus, passed away late Monday evening, August 7, 2006 at English Village
Nursing Home.

Louise was born on March 1, 1944 to William Walker and Martha Angeline (Burton) Worley in Lenior City,
Tennessee. She moved to Altus from Fletcher, Oklahoma in November of 2005 to be near friends. Louise loved
her pets and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include one son, George Netherton and wife Mitsy of Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter Linda Riola
and husband Joseph of Tacoma, Washington; one granddaughter, Brittany Jo Netherton of Las Vegas, Nevada;
three sisters, Lillie Bruns and husband Thomas of Baldwin, Georgia, Argie Ayers of Florida and Daisy Pemberton
and husband Glenn of Glenwood, Ohio; four brothers, William Worley and wife Janet of Lewisburg, Ohio, James
Worley, Kenny Worley and wife Elaine of Law Vegas, Nevada and John Worley of Greenboro, Ohio and many
other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Louise Worley Lilienthal will be held on Friday, August 11, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Grace United
Methodist Church with Rev. George Lupton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims
Funeral Home of Altus.

Little

Lee Opal Little, 87, of Denton, Texas formerly of Altus passed away Monday, February 24, 2008 at Senior
Care of Denton. She was born April 23, 1920 in Atoka Co., to Joseph Elliott Walker and Flora Etta Jane
Wilson Walker. She married James C. Little on December 4, 1937 in Frederick, Ok. He preceded her in
death. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star of Oklahoma and Denton Church of Christ. Lee moved
to Altus, Ok. with her family as an infant and lived most of her life there until moving to Denton, Texas in
1968.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Denton in the chapel of DeBerry
Funeral Directors with Terry Collins officiating. Burial will be Saturday, March 1, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the
City of Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.

She is survived by son, Jimmy E. Little and wife Theresa of Denton; granddaughter, Jennifer Deal and
husband Robert of Denton, Becky Morales and husband Jamie of The Colony, Texas Kim Malone and
husband Joey of Sanger, Texas; great grandchildren, Russell and Mitchell Deal, Joshua, and Megan and
Aubrey Malone, Ashlee and Zachary Morales; niece Lila Shadid and nephew W.G. Walker, both of Altus and
other extended family. She is prededed in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Gardner Walker, Ollie
Walker and Arlie Walker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tipton Children’s Home, Tipton Ok. or Cherokee Children’s
Home of Cherokee, Texas.

Emma Mae Littrell

Emma Mae Littrell, 84, of Eldorado, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2006, at the Jackson
County Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Emma was born March 28, 1922, in Atoka, Oklahoma, to Fred and Emma Zonajane (Pauquit) Mobbs. As one of
eight children (three boys and five girls), Emma worked alongside her brothers in the field doing farm work. She
attended school in the Atoka-Bentley area, where she met the love of her life, Lonnie Littrell. They married June
17, 1937, in Durant, Oklahoma, and six children were born to this union. The family moved from the Durant area
and lived in several southwestern Oklahoma towns where they operated their custom hay harvesting/baling
business. They eventually made their home in Eldorado and Emma worked hard to meet the needs of her family
and later caring for her grandchildren as well. When her great-grandchildren came along, she had special
nicknames for each one. The word “homemaker” did not do her justice because of the varied jobs in her lifetime.
She loved cooking large meals for family gatherings and, in her earlier years, grew a variety of vegetables in her
garden. She also enjoyed sewing and doing embroidery work.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Emma Zonajane Mobbs, her husband, Lonnie Littrell on
November 4, 1989, two sons, Mathew Littrell and Phillip Littrell; one daughter, Karen Ary; brothers, Floyd, Jess,
and Ralph, and sisters, Annie, Maude, and Ida.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet Gurnick of Oklahoma City; two sons, Frankie Littrell of the home in
Eldorado and Hershell Littrell of Altus; one sister, Mildred Eldridge of Atoka, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, Robbie
McCullough and her husband Ed, Trina Frullo and her husband Joe, Cherry Neighbors and her husband Chris,
Trudy Calvillo and her husband Nick, Delmas Eugene Ary, Mathew Dean Ary, Phyllis Johnson, Phillip Littrell, Jr.,
Christy Osbourne and her husband, and Jarod Littrell. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren,
Amber, Logan, Tony, Page, Allyson, Christopher, Cherrish, Chance, Cash, Brittani, KC, Cassandra, and
Machaela.

Funeral Services for Emma Littrell are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at the Faith
Temple in Eldorado with Pastor Joe May officiating. Interment will follow in the Eldorado Cemetery under the
direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the Lowell-Tims Chapel in Eldorado from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, Sept 26.
Mrs. Littrell will Lie in State Tuesday and Wednesday at Lowell-Tims Chapel in Eldorado.

Littrell

Hershell Dean Littrell, 53, of Eldorado, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2006, at the Plantation Village
Nursing Home in Altus.

Hershell was born December 12, 1952, in Durant, Oklahoma, to Lonnie and Emma Mae (Mobbs) Littrell. He
attended Duke Public Schools in the early 1960’s and then attended school in Blair a few years later.

Hershell worked in the family’s custom hay harvesting/baling business for a number of years. He and his family
worked in several southwest Oklahoma towns while making their home in Eldorado. He loved country and gospel
music, singing in church, and being with his family. He especially enjoyed eating and playing his music. These
last few years, Hershell battled Parkinson’s Disease and Altzheimers and had lived the last two years of his life in
the Plantation Village Nursing Home in Altus. He was a member of the Faith Temple Pentecostal Church in
Eldorado.

Preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Littrell on November 4, 1989, and his mother, Emma Littrell on
September 24, 2006, two brothers, Mathew Littrell and Phillip Littrell, Sr., and one sister, Karen Ary, Hershell is
survived by one brother, Frankie D. Littrell of Eldorado; one sister, Janet Gurnick of Oklahoma City; nieces and
nephews, Robbie McCullough and husband Ed of Warr Acres, Oklahoma, Trina Frullo and husband Joe of
Oklahoma City, Cherry Neighbors and husband Chris, also of Oklahoma City, Trudy Calvillo and husband Nick,
Delmas Eugene Ary, Mathew Ary, all of Altus, Phyllis Johnson and husband Mark Daniels of Denton, Texas, Phillip
Littrell, Jr., Christy Osbourne and husband Eric, and Jarod Littrell, all of Amarillo, Texas; many great-nieces, great-
nephews, and a host of friends.

Mr. Littrell will Lie in State on Wednesday at Lowell-Tims in Altus and Thursday and Friday at the Lowell-Tims
Chapel in Eldorado.

Graveside Services for Hershell Littrell will be held 1:00 pm Friday, November 17, at the Eldorado Cemetery in
Eldorado, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Clifadale “Dale” Logan

Clifadale “Dale” Logan, age 70 of Altus, passed away October 24, 2003 at Jackson County Memorial
Hospital. Graveside services, under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral of Altus, are set for 10:00 A.
M., Monday, October 27, 2003 at the Victory Cemetery. Dr. Jeff Moore will officiate. Viewing will be
from 8:00 to 9:30 A.M. Monday morning, at the funeral home.

Dale was born March 13, 1933 at Ryan, Oklahoma to parents Virgil and Carrie Ball Armstrong. She
moved to the Altus area in 1982, from Chillicothe, Texas. Dale was united in marriage to Raymond
Leroy Logan at Altus on December 17, 1982. Dale was self employed and worked many years as a
caregiver and nurses aid. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Altus and enjoyed
dominoes, volunteering at the Senior Citizens Center and reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in May of 1985; daughter, Diana Sue in 1965;
her parents, and sister, Georgia Lee. Dale is survived by sisters, Margie and husband Floyd “Pat”
Patterson of Petrolia, Texas, Lorene and husband Lloyd Mooney of Childress, Texas, Peggy Joe
Ledbetter and husband Jack of Altus, Virgil Armstrong of Woodstock, Illinois, Richard Armstrong and
wife Irmagard of El Paso, Texas and many nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.

Clarence “Ray” Raymond Long Jr.

Clarence “Ray” Raymond Long Jr., age 64 Altus, Oklahoma, passed away December 11, 2003.
Services will be held at a later date in Ada, Oklahoma, Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus, is in charge
of the arrangements.
Ray was born April 12, 1939 at Ardmore, Oklahoma to parents Clarence Raymond Long Sr. and
Georgia Brown Long. Ray was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a gifted carpenter. He
will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A register book at the funeral home will be available to
sign on Monday thru Wednesday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Long

Paul Edward Long, 78, of Altus, passed away Friday, December 12, 2008, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Paul was born April 30, 1930, in Altus, Oklahoma. He grew up in Altus and graduated from Altus High School.
He worked at the Delta and Plaza Theaters for five years while in junior high and high school. Paul married Evelyn Jo
Howard July 3, 1951, in Altus. Ten days after their marriage, Paul left to serve his country in the United States Army
during the Korean Conflict from 1951 to 1953. When he came home from the service, he worked for Austin’s Men’s
Wear in Altus for ten years. He then went to work for Jake Hodges in the County Clerk’s office as a clerk for one
year and then was elected as County Clerk where he served for twenty-five years until his retirement. He was
instrumental in starting the TV ministry at the First Baptist Church several years ago and continued working in the
ministry until his death.

Paul was a free-lance photographer in the local area for the Daily Oklahoman and all area TV stations. He was a
member of the Altus Lion’s Club and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Altus. He served on the Board
of Directors of the Museum of Western Prairie for a long time. Paul enjoyed “music night” in Warren and loved to
give to others. His favorite saying was “Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog.”

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn, of the home in Altus; one daughter, Shearl Jean Davis and husband
Charles Mikeal, also of Altus; two grandchildren, Crystal Nichole McDowell and husband Tyler of Blair, and Mickey
Wade Davis of Altus; one great-grandson, Kanin McDowell of Blair, and two brothers-in-law, James Martin and
George Hurt. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Fairy Voorhies Long Rippetoe and his step-father, Orville
Rippetoe.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church TV Ministry.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 13 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2008, at Lowell-Tims Chapel with Dr. Jeff Moore and
Reverend Tyler McDowell officiating. Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims
Funeral Home in Altus.

Longoria

Steven Reyna Longoria, 54, of Altus, passed away at his home Wednesday, February 25, 2009.
Steven was born March 22, 1954, in Litchfield, Arizona, to Manuel and Dominga (Reyna) Longoria. He
lived in Altus all his life and worked as a handy man for several different businesses in the Altus area.
He also farmed for many years.
He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Thompson and husband Ricky of Elk City, Oklahoma, and
Maria Victoria Longoria and husband Jeremy Ingram, also of Elk City; his mother, Dominga Reyna of
Altus; his brothers and sisters, Gloria Smart, Bertha Delgado, Cecilia Hensley, Elvida Bowen, Billy
Longoria, Helen Longoria, Lucy R. Torres, Minga Graham, Robert Longoria, Johnny Frescas, and Ruben
Frescas; six grandchildren, Candy Longoria, Emily Thompson, Laci Ingram, Lisa Ingram, Lori Ingram,
and Lindsay Ingram, all of Elk City, and many nieces and nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Longoria; four brothers, Luis Longoria, Charlie
Longoria, Sammy Longoria, and Timothy Longoria; and one sister, Maria Delgadillo.

A Vigil will be held 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2009, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2009, at Lowell-Tims Chapel in Altus
with Pastor Joe Tovar officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus Cemetery under the direction of
Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
