FRANCISCA VALLEJO LOPEZ

Francisca Vallejo Lopez, age 81, of Altus/Granite died at the Plantation Village Nursing Home Saturday
morning. A Vigil Service is scheduled for Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. with the funeral mass said Tuesday at
noon June 22nd at the Prince Of Peace Catholic Church officiated by Father Joseph Arledge. Burial will follow
in the Granite Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Francisca was born June 16, 1923 at Iago, Texas and was the daughter of Vincente and Maria Delores
Vallejo. On September 30, 1923 she was Baptized San Juana Francisca Vallejo into the Roman Catholic
Church. She married Christino Martin Lopez October 31, 1942 at Burr in Wharton County, Texas. They moved
to Altus from Corpus Christi, Texas in the early 50’s where they farmed. Later they moved to Granite in the 60’
s. Christino died April 6, 1972.

Francisca was a homemaker but found time to serve as a Teachers Assistant at the Granite Schools. She
also was a fundraiser for Community Action in both Oklahoma and Illinois. She volunteered her time at the
Community Center in Granite to serve breakfast to all the children of the community before attending school
every morning. She also gave freely of her time to actively support many other organizations. Francisca loved
to sing, work in the garden, and was dedicated to her family.

Her husband, Christino Lopez preceded her in death as well as her parents: Vincente and Maria Delores
Vallejo. One (1) son: Richard Lopez. One (1) daughter: Martha Garcia. Two (2) grandsons: Danny and Juan
Hernandez.

Survivors include: Two (2) sons: Chris Lopez and his wife Mary of Bettendorf, Iowa. Raymond Lopez and his
wife Sue of Milan, Illinois. Six (6) daughters: Mary De La Rosa and her husband Joe of Canute, Oklahoma.
Frances Ornelas and her husband Victor of Duke, Oklahoma. Josie Esparza of Blair, Oklahoma. RoseMary
Rohr and her husband Tom of Plymouth, Indiana. Patricia Cummings and her husband Robert of Elmendorf Air
Force Base, Alaska. Maria Nevejas and her husband Abel of Canute, Oklahoma. One (1) brother: Pete Vallejo
and his wife Pat of Houston, Texas. Three (3) sisters: Anita Rivera and her husband Valentine of Houston,
Texas. Maria Salgado of Houston, Texas. Sandy Armendariz of Wharton, Texas. Also surviving are thirty-two
(32) grandchildren, forty-nine (49) great grandchildren and eight (8) great-great grandchildren.

Lillian Marie Lorah

Lillian Marie Lorah, infant daughter of Joshua and Niome Lorah, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2008 in
Altus.

Lillian was born on July 18, 2008 in Altus. She was an angel brought down to earth to bestow butterfly kisses.
All angels have a mission, she completed hers and God so lovingly called her home to become a guardian
angel to watch over all she so loved. We so love you Lilly Bug.

Preceded in death by her great grandmothers, Lucy Strong; Judy Conrad; and Ann Lorah; Lillian is survived
by her parents, Joshua and Niome Lorah of Altus; one brother, Daniel Joseph Cipolla III of Altus; grandparents,
Jeff and Tracy Lorah of Altus; Christine Rideout of Spring Hill, Florida; great grandparents, Clifford Lorah of
Geronimo, Oklahoma; Joe Conrad of Altus; William and Jo Strong of Phoenix, Arizona; Marvin Rideout of
California; William and Ivy Chronister of Altus; uncle Justin Lorah of Altus; aunts, Jessica Lorah of Altus;
Samantha Gustin and her husband Christopher Mojave, California; Alexandra Rideout of Spring Hill, Florida;
and numerous other relatives and many friends.

Services for Lillian Marie Lorah will be at 10:00 am, Monday, August 4, 2008 at the First United Methodist
Church in Altus with Reverend David Player and Tracy Lorah officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus City
Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory.

Magdalena G. Love

Magdalena G. Love, age 72, of Altus, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at Jackson County
Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 18, 1932 in Germany to Johannes Richter and Hedwig Anna (Gainja) Richter. Magdalena
had lived in the Altus community for the last twenty-one years moving here from Alabama. She was a
homemaker and enjoyed her activities with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed playing bingo with her
friends. Magdalena was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Ursula Donovan and husband Dominic of North Stratford, New Hampshire,
Jo Ann Harris of Guntersville, Alabama; one sister and two brothers all of Germany. She is also survived by her
six grandchildren, Elizabeth Door and husband Tyler of New Hampshire, Curtis Williams,Jr. of Oklahoma, Jamie
Harris, Tonya and husband Drew, Jessie Havis, Shae Havis all of Alabama; five great-grandchildren. She is also
survived by a very close friend Rudy Garcia of Altus, Oklahoma, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives
and many friends.
Magdalena was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herman Bronson in 1962, two sisters, one
brother.
Memorial Service for Magdalena G. Love is scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. in the
Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jeff Moore officiating.

LOWELL
Bufford Olan Lowell, age 80 of Oklahoma City died at his residence Sunday morning June 4, 2006. Funeral
services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 7th at 2:00 P.M. in the Snyder First United Methodist Church
officiated by Rev. Sue Lykins. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims
Funeral Home of Altus.

Born July 9, 1925 at Roosevelt he was the son of Arch and Linda Lowell. Bufford attended Consolidated 8
School east of Warren and was graduated in 1944. He joined the Army just out of High School and married
Reta Faye Miller November 23, 1945 at Vernon, Texas. Reta Faye preceded him in death February 4, 2006.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

LOWELL
Reta Faye Lowell, age 78, of Oklahoma City and former resident of Snyder died at the Windsor Hills Nursing
Facility in Oklahoma City Saturday. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at
11:00 A.M. in the Snyder First United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Sue Lykins. Burial will follow in the
Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.

Reta was born August 6, 1927 at Snyder and was the daughter of Cager and Lillie Miller. She attended
school in Snyder and was graduated from Snyder High School in 1945. She married Bufford Olan Lowell
November 23, 1945 at Vernon, Texas.

Reta and Bufford made their home in Oklahoma City where she entered public service with the Internal
Revenue Service in 1946. She retired August 6, 1982. Although a resident of Oklahoma City Rita always
considered Snyder home as well.

She was preceded in death by her father Cager Miller in 1962 and her mother Lillie Fay Morgensen Miller in
1995. Survivors include her husband of 60 years Bufford Lowell of Oklahoma City. Also surviving is a number
of relatives and friends.

Vincent Lyle

Mrs. Vincent Lyle, 93, of Altus, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008, at the Jackson County Memorial
Hospital in Altus.
Vincent was born December 13, 1914, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Joshua Marion and Grace Vera (Amey)
Wright. She graduated from Bartlesville High School and later worked at First National Bank of Bartlesville as a
bookkeeper.
Vincent married Henry Lyle in May of 1936 in Bartlesville. They had many happy years together before his
death in June of 1980.
She is survived by two nieces, Pat Ward of Altus, and Marlene Hertz of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two nephews,
Jim Wright of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Clifford Wright of Rhode Island; numerous great-nieces and
great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Marion and Grace Wright; her husband, Henry Lyle; two sisters, Cleta Perry and Vera Wright;
three brothers, Miner Wright, Albert Wright, and Robert Wright; and one nephew, Richard Wright, preceded
her in death.

Memorial Services for Vincent Lyle will be held at a later date in Bartlesville. Arrangements are under the
direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus.

Lyles

Noel Steven Lyles of Wichita Falls and Vietnam Veteran died
November 6, 2010 in Wichita Falls at the age of 58.

Steve was preceded in death by grandparents, D.E. and Lola Ward.

Survivors include his parents, Ken and Glenna Lyles of Altus, OK;
two sons, Michael and Mickey Lyles; three brothers, Roy of
Burkburnett, Robert of Houston, and Scott of Israel.

A Memorial Service with full Military Rites is scheduled for Monday,
November 15th at 2:00 pm in the Ft. Sill National Cemetery at Elgin,
Oklahoma. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus, Oklahoma is in
charge of arrangements.

Lynch

Jean Anne Lynch, 46 died at her home in Altus, Oklahoma Feburary 28, 2007. Services will be held in her
hometown, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
Jean Anne is survived by her sisters and brother-in-laws, Pam and Steve Dickey, and Mary and Mike Parritus;
and two brothers and her sister-in-law, Mark Lynch, and Michael and Melanie Lynch. She had many nieces,
nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
Jean Anne was born December 30,1960 to Donald and Marylin Lynch. In 1978 she graduated from high school
and moved to Denver, Colorado where she met Martin Lewis, who would be her future husband. Jean Anne
moved to Oklahoma with Martin where they were married in 1983. They had three children together, Joshua
Donald Lewis, Jessica Anne Lewis, and Jenna Marie Lewis.
She was a joyful woman full of charm and beauty, but lacked coordination. Jean Anne was an aerobics
instructor,and a teacher. She was a caregiver to people with mental disabilities. She majored in psychology and
obtained a masters degree in science. Above all, she was a wonderful wife and mother. Her family was her
heart and she was theirs. Jean Anne left her mark on everyone she encountered.

Jean Anne is preceded in death by her beloved father, Donald Lynch.

Local arrangements are under the directions of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Betty Jo Weaver

Betty Jo Weaver, 70, of Altus, went to be with Jesus on Saturday,
October 30, 2010. She was, as she had wanted, surrounded by her
loving husband and children at her home.
Betty Jo leaves her beloved husband of 54 years, her two daughters,
Pamela Jean Buonanoma of Denair, California, and Teresa Garrett of
Altus, Oklahoma, and one son, Homer Stephen Weaver of Altus,
Oklahoma.
Betty Jo was born October 27, 1940, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
Her husband Jesse was also born in Oklahoma. Their respective
families moved to California where Betty and Jesse met. Betty and
Jesse were married December 28, 1956, in Reno, Nevada. They raised
their own family in California. Betty Jo lived for her family and for
her God. She was the adoptive mother of many kids. She also leaves
behind five grandchildren, Kenneth Schendel of Turlock, California,
Ben Alvers of South Dakota, Chanel Weaver of Santa Cruz,
California, Kristy Giraldi of Altus, Oklahoma, and Jessica Garrett of
Duke, Oklahoma. She also leaves her pride and joy, Katlyn and Mia
of Altus, her two great-granddaughters.
Betty Jo was preceded in death by her son, Gary Ray, and parents,
Homer and Helen Grayson, and her best friend, her sister, Peggy
Ann. She will be so very missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to
JCMH Hospice, 1204 E. Tamarack Road, Altus, OK 73521.

The family will hold a private memorial service for Betty at a later
date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral
Home.

Edith Brown

Edith Brown, age 93, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, October 9,
2010, at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Edith was born February 16, 1917, to Charles E. and Della (Medder)
Wood in Waurika, Oklahoma.

She married Luther (L.D.) Brown December 19, 1931, in Waurika, and
they made their home on a farm northwest of Waurika. They had two sons
and one daughter. Edith was a wonderful homemaker and helpmate, working
part time outside the home. Edith was known as a wonderful cook and
contributed many recipes to clubs and individuals. In 1966, Luther and Edith
made Altus their home and purchased an appliance store, later named Brown’s
Appliance and Furniture. Edith always worked outside the home and remained
a wonderful homemaker, having a talent for making quilts and creating well
over 200 quilts that was given with love to those close to her. Edith was a
longtime member of Southside Baptist Church in Altus.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Della Wood, her husband,
L.D. (Luther) Brown, on January 28, 1999, three brothers, and three sisters,
she is survived by two sons, Donald P. Brown of Yorba Linda, California,
Jerry L. Brown of Altus, and daughter Peggy (Brown) Peña and husband Louis
of Arlington, Texas. She is also survived by four grandsons, three
granddaughters, five great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters, and one great-
great granddaughter; one sister, Delpha Brown of South Houston, Texas, plus
numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends Tuesday, October 12 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Edith Brown will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October
13, at the Southside Baptist Church in Altus with Pastor Jason Duree
officiating. Interment will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Waurika
Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus.
