RICHARD QUENTIN HART, SR.

Funeral services for Richard Quentin Hart, Sr., were held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 31st , 2007, at the new Life Christian Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ezell Nelson officiating.

Richard was born on November 2nd, 1930 , and died on December 28th, 2007, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at 77 years of age.

Born in Chickasha, the third child of Joseph Luther Hart, Jr., and Eva Jane Whitehurst Hart, Richard graduated from Chickasha High School in 1948. He then attended Oklahoma A&M, now OSU. After joining the National Guard 45th Infantry brigade he served active duty in the Korean Conflict.

Upon returning from Korea, Richard went to work for Dowell Chemical Co. as a chemical engineer in Augusta, Georgia. He met the love of his life, Jean Carolyn Ferguson in nearby Beach Island, South Carolina. They married on June 9th, 1954.

After the wedding, Richard and Jean moved to Texas with Dowell. They returned to Oklahoma in the fall of 1954, and Richard joined his father, J. L. Hart, Jr., at the Hart Cotton Machine Co. In 1963 they started Hart Dairy. Richard also worked for Jamco Machine shop and Molica Machine Works. Richard worked as City Water Superintendent from 1976-1978. Then he and Jean started Chickasha Design and Machine, Hart Feeds, Hart Transportation and Hart Farms. Richard was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church and the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class.

Richard Quentin Hart, Sr., is preceded in death by: his parents; his sister, Eva Jo Gentry Etheridge; two sisters-in-law, Geri Hart and Cordelia Hart. Richard is survived by: his wife of 53 years, Jean Carolyn; three brothers and spouses, Joseph Luther Hart, III, Robert Theodore Hart and Helen, and John Darrell Hart and Evanelle; three children and their spouses, Lisa and Rick Hart of Chickasha, Dr. Cindy and Larry Kidd of Jackson, Ohio, and Judy and Don Nelson of Chickasha; six grandchildren: Daniel Hart of Chickasha and Amelia Hart of San Francisco, California, Mitchell McVey of Tulsa, Carly and Alex Kidd of Jackson, Ohio; Hugh Hart Nelson of Chickasha; and by one great-grand child, Malea McVey of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers were Mariano Ruiz, Jeff Schenk, Allen Schenk, James Schlecht, Jon Brown, Tim Elliott, Arnold Johnson and David Turner. Music was provided by Kristy Dehart Jarnagin, accompanied by Ashley Posey.

Memorials may be sent to the new life Christian Church, the Epworth United Methodist youth fund and St. Jude’s children’s hospital.

VERA FAYE BOUDREAU NAEHER

Funeral Mass for Vera Faye Boudreau Naeher, 88, of Purcell, Oklahoma was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2007 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Norman. Rosary service was held at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Vera Faye Boudreau Naeher was born May 12, 1919 in Purcell, Oklahoma the daughter of John Henry and Rosana (Marcotte) Boudreau and died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007 in Oklahoma City.

Vera grew up in Purcell and graduated from Purcell High School as salutatorian. She lived most of her life in Oklahoma City.

She and John Raymond Naeher were married Dec. 12, 1941 in Taylor County, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1979.

Vera was a member of the Catholic Church. She volunteered and worked with the St. Vincent DePaul Society.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: Three sons and their wives: John and Sam Naeher of Tuttle, David and Mary Naeher of Tuttle, Terry and Judy Naeher of Moore; one daughter: Barbara Harris of Garland, Texas; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Interment was in the Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

WAYNE ELMO PINKSTON

Wayne Elmo Pinkston, 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jan. 3, 2008 in Oklahoma city after a lengthy illness. He was born May 6, 1917 in Cogar, Oklahoma, to Clarence and Viola (Wilson) Pinkston. Wayne attended school at Hazel Dell, Lone Rock, and Binger before graduating from Minco High School in 1935. He had to assume the responsibility of caring for his mother and three sisters at the age of 18, due to the premature death of his father.

Wayne and Cora were married on March 20, 1942, and celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this past year. They operated a dairy and wheat farm for over 60 years southwest of Minco. Wayne served on the Grady County Rural Water Board No. 6. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Minco. Wayne was recognized for having 29 consecutive years of perfect attendance in Sunday School, and served as Sunday School record secretary for many years.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Cora; parents and sister Leota Turner. Wayne is survived by his three children: Dawan Pinkston and wife Juanita of Minco, Wiley Pinkston and wife Annecia of Oklahoma City, and Lawanda (Pinkston) Butler and husband Jim of Edmond. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Lance, Darren, Dawna, Tiffany, Meredith, Ashley, Lauren and Whitley; eight great-grandchildren; his sisters: Oleta Hord of Lincoln, Calif., and Juanita Wakefield of El Sobrante, Calif.

For the last few years of his life, Wayne’s mind was clouded with dementia, but it is perfectly clear today as he and his wife Cora are walking the streets of gold.

Services were held at 10 a.m on Jan. 7, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Minco, Oklahoma. Memorial contributions may be sent to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 427, Minco, OK 73059.

Burial followed at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Loretta Mary Williams

Funeral services for Loretta Mary Williams, 83, of Tuttle, were held Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 in the Tuttle Christian Church.

Loretta Mary Williams was born Jan. 28, 1925 in Jacktown, Okla., the daughter of Jeff and Etta (Vineyard) Mosier. She died Friday, Aug. 1, 2008 in Oklahoma City.

She and Jim Williams were married Dec. 22, 1941 in Chickasha.

Mrs. Williams lived in Tuttle more than 60 years and was a member of the Tuttle Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Survivors include four children, David Williams and wife Robby, Jimmy Williams and wife Carlene, Ronnie Williams and wife Cheryl and Karen Williams and husband Greg, all of Tuttle; one brother, Ray Mosier; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Steven Ray Belt

Funeral service for Steven Ray Belt, 50 formerly of Tuttle, Oklahoma were held Monday August 4, 2008 at the First Assembly of God Church in Tuttle.

Steven Ray Belt was born October 4, 1957 in Anadarko. He was the son of Billy Ray and Charlene Wilkerson Belt. He died Thursday July 31, 2008 in Oklahoma City.

Steven attended Tuttle Public Schools and lived in the area most of his life. He and his brother worked in construction; he was a licensed and bonded concrete finisher.

He and Leslie were married December 6, 1989. He was preceded in by his parents and Darla Belt.

Survivors include his wife, Leslie Belt; three children, Sonya Slocum, April Belt and Billy Belt; brother, Mark Belt; one grandchild and one on the way.

Interment was in the Murray Cemetery, Binger, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.

James Michael Jefferson

James Michael Jefferson passed away July 28 in Springfield, Mo. He was born May 19, 1967 in Midwest City where he grew up, with the exception of a few years in Oregon, Ill. James graduated from Midwest City High School in 1985. He then graduated from the University of Oklahoma. James was involved in theatre, including many of his own original productions. It was in the theatre that he met the love of his life, Nanette Simpson of Mustang. They were married on Sept. 5, 1997 and made their home in Mustang/Tuttle. Together they became ordained ministers. In 2007, they moved to Branson, Mo. to work with the Billye Brim Ministries at Prayer Mountain. James enjoyed visiting coffee shops, cooking gourmet meals and most of all ministering to others.

Surviving are his wife, Nanette Jefferson of Blue Eye, Mo.; mother, Linda Little and David of Oregon, Ill.; sister Sheril Abernathy and Stephen, and their daughters, McKaena and Jaely of Midwest City; brother Jesse of Denver; aunts Arla Protzman and Frank of Midwest City; Carol Hager and Tommy of Midwest City; and Brenda Granger and Edward of Oklahoma City; grandparents Dick and Dee Little of Oregon, Ill.; cousins Joe Protzman and Shelley and their daughter Megan, of Choctaw and Regina Hager of Midwest City. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Eddie and Neoma Peck of Midwest City.

There will be a memorial service at Christian Life Fellowship Church in Moore on Thursday, July 31 at 3 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Billye Brim Ministries, PO Box 40, Branson, MO 65615.

Guynel Eugenia Monroe

Services for Guynel Eugenia Monroe, 86, of Minco, were held on Wednesday, July 30 at the First Baptist Church in Minco with burial following at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Monroe was born August 30, 1921 at Carrollton, Georgia to Ezra and Lonie Eugenia (Howard) Marrow. She died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Binger.

A homemaker, she lived in the Minco community most all of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was also a former member of the Minco Trailriders. She married Leland Earl Monroe on September 19, 1942 in Lawton.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband on Aug. 6, 2002; three children, Terry, Keith, and Karetha Faye; three brothers and sisters-in-law Homer and Vera Marrow, Glen and Betty Marrow, and Alton Marrow; a brother-in-law - Virgil Armstrong, and two sisters-in-law, Peggy Hill and June Marrow.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Jery Lou and Patrick Phelps of Ft. Cobb Lake; one brother and sister-in-law Gene and Dot Marrow; two sisters and a brother-in-law Patsy and Dub Locke of Minco and Mrs. Virgil (Wanetta) Armstrong of Minco; one brother-in-law Joe Hill of Des Moines, Iowa; three grandchildren Denise Phelps, Dena Phelps Friesen and husband Tony, Lana Phelps McKinsey and Fiancee Houston Brittain; seven great grandchildren, Mallory, Morgan, and Corey McMullen Taylor and Casey Friesen and Trey and Madison McKinsey.

Randall Earl Johnson

Graveside services and military honors for Randall Earl Johnson, 85, of Minco, were held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Friendship Cemetery southwest of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.

Johnson was born April 7, 1923 at Jennylind, Ark. to Charles Henry and Janice (Copple) Johnson. He died Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Norman Veteran’s Center.

Johnson moved from Eureka, Calif. back to Minco in the 1970s. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War as a Seaman First Class. He worked as a custodian for a school in Eureka, Calif. until his return to Minco. He enjoyed helping and participatiing at the Minco Senior Citizen’s Center.

Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Allen, Elwood, Virgil and Clyde Johnson, and three sisters, Opal Ingram, Alice Mitchum and Beulah McCartney.

He is survived by a sister, Betty Jo Sparks of Twin Falls, Idaho and many nieces and nephews.

Bill D. Price

Bill D. Price age 74, of Newcastle, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008. He was born on Dec. 19, 1933 in Graham, Texas to Ferris Dee Price and Ellen Mae Marsh. Bill’s early years growing up were in Texas and Bethany.

When Bill was a young boy, his father married Cordia Ingle. This union created a family of seven children, each of whom Bill loved dearly. His high school years were in Noble were he graduated with the class of 1952.

During his junior year, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corp where he proudly served his country for five years. After being honorably discharged in 1955, he returned to Oklahoma and moved to Norman. He began working for Masters Mayflower Moving Co. and it was there he met the love of his life, Joyce Murrell. They were married on May 17, 1958 in Washington, Okla.

In August of 1960, Bill started a career in law enforcement by joining the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. In 1973, OHP Lt. Bill Price and Lt. Bill Hollars saw the need to create an academy where young and women could learn what it takes to be a trooper with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. In 1974, the Cadet Lawman Academy was born. Since that time, 3,792 cadets have attended the academy.

Bill and Joyce lived in Lawton for their first seven years. They later moved to Del City were they lived another seven years. In 1974 they made their permanent home in Newcastle where they raised their three children. Bill worked 22 years for the Oklahoma Dept. of Public Safety and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, retiring in 1982 as First Lieutenant and Troup Commander for Safety Education.

After retiring from the patrol, he went to work for Oklahoma Tank Lines where he served 18 years as vice president of safety before retiring again in 2000. Bill spent his entire life serving his fellow man, his state and his country. Throughout his working years he was also a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard where he dedicated a total of 34 years before retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer.

While living in Del City, Bill was ordained a deacon in the Baptist Church on Jan. 17, 1971. After moving to Newcastle he remained a deacon and became a faithful member of the Newcastle First Baptist Church where he served on various committees over the years.

For enjoyment, Bill liked to travel with his family and friends. But most of all Bill liked spending time with his children and grandchildren and doing what they liked to do. He will be remembered as a loving husband, a wonderful father, father-n-law and grandfather, a special brother and a dear friend to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ferris and Ellen Price; stepmother Cordia Price; sister Beverly Thrash; and brother Bill Smith.

He is survived by his wife Joyce of the home; three children and their spouses, Jeff and Sonja Price of Yukon, Terri and Buck Foughty of Bridge Creek and Shelli and Darrin Abel of Newcastle; five brothers and sisters and their spouses, Ernest and Pattie Price of Norman, Jimmy and Rachel Price of Blanchard, Rome and Lisa Ingle of Broken Arrow, aJoan and William Smith of Norman and Jaynan and Tom Trammell of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law Charlotte Smith of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren, Blake, Dakota, Carson and Legend Price; Brittani and Connor Foughty, Reagan, Kassidy and Emerson Abel, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving relatives.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 21, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Newcastle with interment at the Blanchard Cemetery. Officiating were Rev. Brent Parsons, Rev. Bill Gentry and Chaplain Sam Garner. Pallbearers were the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Honor Guard. Honorary Pallbearers are; Blake, Dakota and Carson Price, Reagan Abel, Connor Foughty, Kody Epperly, Greg Price, Bob Pierce, Bill Hollars, Joe Elam, Elmer Roberts, Ed Max, John Thomas, Orvis McMahan, Bob Castle and the Newcastle First Baptist Church Deacons.

Memorials may be made to the Newcastle First Baptist Church, Living the Vision Fund, P.O. Box 299, Newcastle, OK. 73065. Arrangements were with Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle.

Richard H. Witt Jr.

Richard H. Witt Jr. age 64 of Tuttle went to be with the Lord July 11, 2008 at Integris in Oklahoma City. Richard was born April 21, 1944 in Tuttle. He was preceded in death by his ex-wife Sherri Shaffer and his beloved parents, Richard H. Witt Sr. and Eunice Witt. Witt is survived by his daughter Christine Reaves and husband Elbert, son Richard Paul Witt and wife Anna Witt. Richard had three grandchildren, two sisters and neices and nephews.

Floyd Ray Littleton

Floyd Ray “Bo” or “Cotton” Littleton, age 68 of Tuttle, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Floyd was born February 13, 1940 in Oklahoma City, the youngest of three children born to Clifford Decab and Mattie Ellen (Brown) Littleton. Bo was raised in Oklahoma City, attended U.S. Grant School and lived in Oklahoma City most of his life before moving to Tuttle in 2002. Bo loved his family and friends and especially enjoyed burning DVD movies and baking for them. He worked as a baker and a barber for many years. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Clifford and Mattie Littleton and his precious son, Curtis Ray Littleton.

He is survived by his daughter, Deanna McFarland and husband Mitch of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Georgia London of the home in Tuttle and Elsie Williams of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Symphony and Sebastian; Niece, Ernestine Williams of the home in Tuttle and many other family and friends.

Funeral Services were held. Saturday July 12, 2008 at the First Assembly of God Church in Tuttle with Pastor Larry Harris officiating. Pallbearers were Tony Baird, Carl Laffoon, Michael Laffoon, Floye Lee Lavarnway, Trent London and Brock Maroney. Honorary bearers were Barron Baird, Greg Lavarnway, Dillon Lavarnway and Rob Golowinski. Burial followed at the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Newcastle.

Joe Gilbert Estes

Joe Gilbert Estes was born to Evelyn (Moats) and James Monroe Estes on August 24, 1924 in Atoka, Oklahoma.

He attended school in Olney and served in the United States Navy during World War II on the carrier USS Saratogo. Joe was employed as a supervisor by the Oklahoma City Water Department. He moved from Oklahoma City to Tuttle in 1974 and attended Tuttle Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed raising, training and trading mules.

Joe passed away July 9, 2008 at 83 years of age.

Survivors include his son, Timothy (Tim) Merle Estes, of Lewisville, Texas; daughters, Lydia Ann Baird and her husband, Phillip of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Nancy Jo Francis of Moore; grandchildren, Trevor Jordan, James Jordan, III, Nathan Baird, Captain Garry Francis, II, Larrissa Sugg, Robert Estes, Jr; great grandchildren, Jacob Jordan, Conner Jordan, Alex Jordan, Katherine Jordan, Jaylon Baird, Jessica Jordan, Lauren Roubicek, Will Roubicek; brother, Harold Estes and his wife, Margaret, of Lehigh, Oklahoma; sisters, Reba Eddings and her husband, Clifford, of Coalgate, Virginia Rickard of Ada, June Elliot of Hugo, Mary Yother of Coalgate, Norma Maynes of Streetman, Texas; numerous other relatives and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, by two wives, Dolores Ann Estes, and Regina Nadine Estes, four brothers, three sisters, three children, Robert, Roger and Gaylene Estes, two grandchildren, Jay Jordan and John Rosson.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Eisenhour Chapel in Blanchard. Reverend Larry Harris officiated with interment held in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
