STIGLER — Cleo Morrison, 81, of Stigler died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Garland Cemetery in Stigler under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by her husband, L.A. Morrison; one stepdaughter, Sue Boles of Mineral Ridge, Ohio; one son, Jerald Livesay of Stigler; one brother, Haskell Livesay of Bakersville, Calif.; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

Bill Attebery
LAWN, Texas — Bill C. Attebery, 80, of Lawn died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, in Heavener. He was a member of Missionary Baptist Church in Seminole, Texas.
Cremation is under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
He is survived by his wife, Iby Joan; one daughter, Anita Person of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two sisters, Louise Ollar of Heavener and Ellen Bunce of Porterville, Calif.; three half-sisters, Bertha Armour, Betty Viviano and Kay Vanameyzen, all of Battle Creek, Mich.; one half-brother, Sanford Logan of Battle Creek; and two granddaughters, Dana and Carol.

Amos McPeters
KEOTA — Amos McPeters, 87, of Keota died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, in Fort Smith.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Lone Elm Free Will Baptist Church with burial at Keota City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler.
He is survived by his wife, Okla; two daughters, Betty Colson of California and Denna Campbell; two stepdaughters, Frances Anderton of Quinlan, Texas, and Patsy Anderton of Royce City, Texas; four stepsons, James Brigance of Henderson, Nev., Albert Brigance of Marysville, Tenn., Louis Brigance of Stigler and Loyd Brigance of Bonham, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Bill and J.T. Adams, Carl Dix, Louis, Loyd and Jimmy Brigance.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.

Eugene Johnson
WALDRON — Eugene W. Johnson, 88, of Waldron died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, in a Waldron hospital. He was a retired railroad worker, a veteran of World War II, a member of Bates Baptist Church, a Mason and a member of Waldron Lodge No. 132 F&AM.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bates Baptist Church with burial at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron.
He is survived by his wife, Dimple; a daughter, Dorothy Bergner of Weatherford; a son, Robert Johnson of Jonesboro; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry and Terry Bergner, Glenn Smoot, Bill Miller, Ralph Cagle and Gary Partridge.
The body may be viewed from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

John Campbell
POTEAU — John Russell “Jacky” Campbell, 36, of Poteau died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, in Poteau. He was born Dec. 28, 1967, in Phoenix.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Oakland Cemetery Pavilion in Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by his parents, John and Jeanette Campbell of Mayer, Ariz.; four sisters, Darlene Bennett of Chicago, Sherry Klocko of Mayer, Karen DeFrange of Krebs, Okla., and Nickie Bray of Poteau; and three brothers, Tom Locascio of LaMesa, Calif., Chris Locascio of West Bend, Wis., and John Campbell of Mayer.

Marshall Cope Jr.
SALLISAW — Marshall A. Cope Jr., 67, of Sallisaw died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, in Fort Smith. He was born May 10, 1937, in Post, Texas. He was a security guard at Blue Ribbon Downs, a former horseman and drywall specialist and a Protestant.
Memorial service and burial of cremains will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Atkins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
He is survived by a son, Clayton Cope of the home; a sister, Ann Morgart of Ramona, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Claudie Kindrick
PORUM, Okla. — Claudie Lee Kindrick, 62, of Porum, Okla., died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, in Muskogee. He was a member of Porum First Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Porum First Baptist Church with burial at Coleman Cemetery in Porum under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby; a daughter, Kim Weeks of Keefton, Okla.; a son, Russell Kendrick of Keefton, Okla.; his parents, Mildred and Claude Kindrick of Porum; a sister, Susie Waters of Porum; a brother, Clark Kindrick of Checotah, Okla.; and three grandchildren.
The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Melvin Amen
STIGLER — Melvin Amen, 69, of Stigler died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, in Stigler.
The body was cremated under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
He is survived by three daughters, Tammy Fox of Springdale, Barbara Amen of McCurtain and Robin Amen of Henderson, Nev.; five sons, Ronnie Amen of Henderson, Nev., Jeff Amen of Stigler, Austin Amen of McCurtain, Ronnie E. Amen of Springdale and Donald Amen of Altus; a brother, Marvin Amen of Keota; and 10 grandchildren.

Trucilla Harmon
BROOKEN, Okla. — Trucilla Harmon, 60, of Brooken, Okla., died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, in McAlester, Okla. She was a member of Brooken Freewill Baptist Church and formerly owned and operated Harmon’s Grocery in Quinton and Pete’s Place in Brooken.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Stigler with burial at Brooken Cemetery in Brooken, Okla., under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; two daughters, Debby McCoy of Stigler and Lana Mayhall of Brooken, Okla.; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Stan Embry, Darwin Rea, Bryan Keith, Tony Miller, Coy Few and Jim Wimberly.

Hazel Scott
SALLISAW — Hazel Laura May Scott, 90, of Sallisaw died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, in Sallisaw. She was born Sept. 30, 1914, in Brent community, Okla. She was a homemaker, a member of Northside Freewill Baptist Church in Sallisaw and the widow of Owen Scott.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Sallisaw City Cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, Geraldine Weaver of Norman, Okla.; two sons, Ronald Scott of Sallisaw and Harold Scott of Muldrow; a brother, Arthur Hollis of Tulsa; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Scottie and Shea Weaver, Chad and Sammy Lasiter, Eric Roe and Travis Adams.
The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Marie Johnston
MULDROW — Marie Laster Johnston, 86, of Muldrow died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, in Roland. She was born Dec. 27, 1917, in Paw Paw Community. She was a homemaker, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow and the widow of Fred Laster Jr. and Joe Johnston.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow with burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.
She is survived by three daughters, Janice Thompson and Sharon Sampson, both of Muldrow, and Linda Rollins of Lewisville, Texas; two sons, Don and Buck Laster Jr., both of Muldrow; a sister, Estel Chisum of Muldrow; two brothers, Dean Shackelford of Muldrow and James Shackelford of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Rose Mary Walton
An angel left this world and peacefully went to be with our Lord on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, in Yukon, Okla. Rose Mary Walton was born May 3, 1911, in Barling to Henry and Minnie Yuttermann Bieker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse E. “Jack” Walton; her son, Jimmy Lee Walton; two sisters, Marie Bertram and Helen Peters; and two brothers, Otto and Ben Beiker.
Rose Mary’s home was in Fort Smith. She came to Midwest City, Okla., in May 1965 to care for the bodies, souls and hearts of her daughter and grandchildren. She resided with her daughter and son-in-law for a month less than 35 years, being the caregiver for most of those years, but slowly becoming the cared for.
She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Grant, and son-in-law, Jerry C. Grant of Edmond, Okla.; three grandchildren and their wives, Bernie Barnard and Sally of Whittier Calif., Jim Barnard and Len of Edmond, Okla., and Mariavis Fitzmorris and Cliff of Yukon; two step-grandchildren, Gary Grant and Sheila of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Julie Grant Scarborough and Macon of Corpus Christi; three great-grandchildren, Jessee Barnard of Edmond and Lucy Rose and Jack Fitzmorris, both of Yukon; and eight great-step-grandchildren, Rick and Lisa Love, both of California, Tanya Willis Swailes, Cege, Christina and Larry Don Grant and Megan and Justin Scarborough, all of Corpus Christi; four step-great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jacquelyn, Ethan and Karah; three sisters, Cecilia Carpentieri and Ann Sparks, both of Fort Smith, and Alice Scheibel of O’Fallon, Mo.; one brother, John Bieker and wife Marie of O’Fallon; two sisters-in-law, Dora Bieker of Pueblo, Colo., and Aline Bieker of Fort Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary service will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Church at 7 p.m. today with a funeral Mass 10 a.m. Monday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with burial at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Bernie, Jim and Jesse Barnard, Cliff Fitzmorris and Gary Grant.
Family will visit with friends today from noon to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church, 1820 N. B St., Fort Smith, AR 72903.

Cecil McGehee
CALERA, Okla. — Cecil McGehee, 87, of Calera, formerly of Poteau, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, in Durant, Okla. He was born Oct. 9, 1917, in Blue, Okla. He was a retired grocer and a retired Southern Baptist minister. He was a member of Bushnell Baptist Church and the Calera Masonic Lodge, a veteran of World War II and the widower of Hazel McGehee.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Calera with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera under the direction of Coffey-Murray Funeral Home of Durant.
He is survived by three sons, Phil McGehee of Poteau, Kim McGehee of Durant and Mark McGehee of Golden, Okla.; and five grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Children’s Homes of Oklahoma.

Beulah Spence
POTEAU — Beulah Pauline Spence, 75, of Poteau died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, in her home. She was born Sept. 9, 1929 in Keokoe, Va. She was a homemaker, a personal caregiver and the widow of Aaron Spence.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at United Pentecostal Church in Poteau with burial at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by three daughters, Dane Gore of Illinois, Connie Bledsoe of Clarksville and Samantha Killion of Poteau; three sons, Gary Francis of Poteau, Elmer Francis of Helena, Okla., and Charles Spence of Shady Point; four sisters, Brenda Craven of Indiana, Zelma Bobrosky of Virginia, Maerene Winegarner of Ohio and Pat Bland of Shady Point; four brothers, Sam and Eddie Fleenor, both of Indiana, and Charles and Howard Fleenor, both of Ohio; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Francis II, Gary Francis II, Brian Dunigan, Brandon Bledsoe, Mekko Ruiz, Jeffrey Ramey, Heith Williams and Darrell Killion.
