BETHANY, Okla. — Glenn William Mayfield, 68, of Bethany, Okla., formerly of Sallisaw, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, in Bethany. He was born Dec. 20, 1935, in Drumwright, Okla., attended Sallisaw High School and was a Protestant. He was retired owner-operator of Quail Plaza Barber Shop in Oklahoma City and served on the Oklahoma State Barber board. He served in the Air Force, was a member of Oklahoma City Lions’ Club and a Master Mason, was a champion trapshooter and served as secretary treasurer for the Oklahoma City Gun Club.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Church of the Nazarene in Sallisaw with burial at Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
He is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Cory of Bethany and Glenna Forristall of Hermosa Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Aileen Smith of Oklahoma City and Jeri Tapley of Spokane, Wash.; a brother, Seaynoah Mayfield of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

William Cantrell
POTEAU — William Cleve Cantrell, 74, of Poteau died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, in Poteau. He was born Sept. 3, 1930, in Howe. He was a carpenter and an Army veteran who served in Korea.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Springhill Cemetery in Monroe under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by a brother, Sherman Cantrell of Oklahoma City.

Mary Eulema “Kathryn” Satterfield
Mary Eulema “Kathryn” Satterfield, 84, of Spiro died Dec. 9, 2004, in Spiro. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Gene, of the home; two daughters, Virginia Miller of Spiro and Kathey Satterfield of Spiro; three sons, Charles Russell of San Diego, Wayne Satterfield of Wrightwood, Calif., and Teddy Satterfield of Spiro; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be noon today in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

June Woodhull Scott
June Woodhull Scott, 85, of Sallisaw died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, in Sallisaw. She was born May 25, 1919, near Greenwood. She was retired secretary for the superintendent of Sallisaw schools after 16 years, a member of First United Methodist Church of Sallisaw and a 1936 graduate of Greenwood High School. She was the widow of Samuel Avis Scott.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Sallisaw with burial at Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Tom Mitchell and Judy and Stan Blair, both of Sallisaw; a sister, Wanda Kolb of Dunedin, Fla.; a brother, James Robert Woodhull of Greenwood; six grandchildren, Cindy Hill, Chris Magie, Greg Asbill, Hannah Blair, Jarrett Blair and Matthew Blair; and 12 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Summer, Reuben, Caleb, Amy and Seth Hill, Jessica and Ryan Magie, Nathaniel, Brennen and Ethan Asbill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, Vina Carter and Lucille Henderson, and two brothers, Joe Lee Woodhull and Jack Woodhull.
Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church building fund, 125 S. Wheeler, Sallisaw OK 74955.

Billy Perkins
POCOLA — Billy Perkins, 69, of Pocola died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, in Fort Smith. He was born Feb. 18, 1935, in Pocola. He was a retired electrician for Baldor and a member of the Midland Masonic Lodge.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Valley View Cemetery near Midland under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Pocola.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Evelyn Martin of Pocola and Janet Fleek of Garad, Pa.; two sons, Billy Perkins of Pocola and Stanley Perkins of Fulton, N.Y.; two sisters, Anna Frost of Greenwood and Esta Sanders of Pocola; two brothers, Howard Perkins of Pocola and Amos Perkins of Paris; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Lloyd Sossamon
OWASSO, Okla. — Lloyd Milton Sossamon, 78, of Owasso, Okla., died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, in Naples, Fla. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ozark, manager of the former Sossamon Lumber Co. and previously served as a member of the Ozark City Council. He was the widower of Elizabeth Sossamon.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Ozark First United Methodist Church with burial at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Strickland of Naples, Fla.; a son, Wesley Sossamon of Greenbrier; a brother, Floyd Sossamon of Tulsa; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Danny Bond, Don Johnston, Roger and Harley Williams, and Bruce and Dan Sossamon.

Geraldine West
MULDROW — Geraldine Arnold West, 80, of Muldrow died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, in Fort Smith. She was born Aug. 26, 1924, in Dawson, N.M. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Muldrow with burial at Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak.
She is survived by her companion, Bob Yancey; a daughter, Gail Doran of Muldrow; two sons, Marvin and Bobby Stimson, both of Muldrow; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The body may be viewed from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Luther Bevel
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Luther “Luke” Bevel, 88, of Broken Arrow died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, in his home. He was born Nov. 1, 1916, in Mulberry. He worked for the Fort Smith Fire Department for 40 years, retiring in 1982 as fire chief. He was a member of United Commercial Travelers and the First Christian Church in Broken Arrow.
Funeral was held Monday at First Christian Church in Broken Arrow with burial a Floral Haven Memorial Garden Cemetery under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home of Broken Arrow.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; two daughters, Cindy Dyer of Broken Arrow and Ladonna Woods of Midland, Mich.; a sister, Lois Bales of Fort Smith; several grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Hospice House, 6600 S. Yale, Suite 350, Tulsa, OK 74136.

Charles Medlock
MULDROW — Charles H. Medlock, 66, of Muldrow died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, in his home. He was born July 7, 1938, in Mulberry. He was a retired employee of Rheem Manufacturing; he was of the Assembly of God faith and the widower of Bonnie Medlock.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Roland City Cemetery.
He is survived by a son, Nathan of Muldrow; seven sisters, Audine Phillips of Altus, Regina Huffstetler of Glove, Ariz., Margie Henslee and Jackie Wilson, both of Ozark, Paulette Milsap and Sue Bright, both of Mulberry, and Carol Simpson of Logan, N.M.; a brother, Bob Medlock of Houston; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Hal Pollock, David and Frank Roe, Sam London, Bill Freeman and Douglas Dyer.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Arel Fox
PANAMA — Arel Fox, 88, of Panama died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, in Poteau. He was born Jan. 20, 1916, in Shawnee, Okla. He worked 28 years as a coal miner and 18 years with the International Machinists Union, and was a member of Assembly of God in Panama.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God in Panama with burial at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Margie; two sons, Earl Fox of Tulsa and Roy Fox of Panama; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Thiral, Doyle, Bobbie, Don and Johnny Martin and Paul Sheperd.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Charles H. Medlock, 66, of Muldrow died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, in his home. He was born July 7, 1938, in Mulberry. He was a retired employee of Rheem Manufacturing; he was of the Assembly of God faith and the widower of the late Bonnie Medlock.

He is survived by a son, Nathan Medlock of Muldrow; seven sisters, Audine Phillips of Altus, Regina Huffstetler of Globe, Ariz., Margie Henslee and Jackie Wilson, both of Ozark, Paulette Milsap and Sue Bright, both of Mulberry, and Carol Simpson of Logan, N.M.; a brother, Bob Medlock of Houston; and two grandchildren, Alisha Medlock and Brianna Patton.
Pallbearers will be Hal Pollock, David and Frank Roe, Sam London, Bill Freeman and Douglas Dyer. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Huffstetler, Robby Simpson and Bill Dyer.

Johnnie Holleman
NEEDMORE — Johnnie Monard Holleman, 85, of Needmore died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, in Waldron. He was a retired farmer, rancher and supervisor for Waldron Furniture Factory, a member of Needmore Assembly of God and an Navy veteran of World War II.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron with burial at Hawkins Cemetery near Parks.
He is survived by his wife, Flossie; two sons, Joe and Joyce Holleman, both of Needmore; two sisters, Charlene Wadkins of Waldron and Merl Pryor of Sacramento, Calif.; three brothers, Mel of Greenwood, Valton of Boles, and Howard of Parks; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

O.C. Adcock
STIGLER, Okla. — O.C. Adcock, 71, of Stigler died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, in Stigler.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Stigler with burial at Palestine Cemetery in Quinton, Okla.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; a daughter, Niki Alderson of Muldrow; a son, James Adcock of Stigler; a stepdaughter, Vivian Garner of Red Oak, Okla.; a stepson, Victor Croy of Pocola; three sisters, Kathryn Stevens of Muskogee, Okla., Claudine King of Enterprise, Okla., and Alice Pryor of Quinton, Okla.; four brothers, C.J. and Darrell Adcock, both of Quinton, Okla., Ralph Adcock of Kinta, Okla., and Billy Adcock of Naperville, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David, Mike, Ray and John Adcock, Kenny King and Keith Pryor.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.

Clifford Ary
STIGLER, Okla. — Clifford Ary, 84, of Stigler died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, in Oklahoma City. He was a 50-year member of Perry Free Will Baptist Church, where he had served as superintendent and Sunday school teacher; he was a World War II veteran who saw action in the South Pacific, and retired in 1982 from the U.S. Corps of Engineers.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mallory Funeral Home Chapel in Stigler with burial at Stigler City Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Judy Harrell of Stigler; two sons, Eddie Ary of Arkadelphia and Terry Ary of Bartlesville, Okla.; a sister, Dottie Loosier of Spokane, Wash.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
