VIAN — O.W. Cato, 85, of Vian died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, in Vian. He was born Nov. 23, 1919, in Mena. He was a former quality control worker at Cessna and Lear Jet, a farmer, a member of Blackgum Baptist Church, an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific and the Battle of Buna, and was a lifetime member of the VFW and DAV.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Blackgum First Baptist Church with burial at Box Cemetery north of Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; two daughters, Janey Buttery of the home and J.C. Shine of Tulsa; a son, Jeffery Cato of Roswell, Ga.; a sister, Vera Howell of Collinsville, Okla.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Davis, Louie Rouse, Boonie Harriman, Bodie Burton, Bob Roberson and Gary Morris.
The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Marian Sevilla
STIGLER — Marian Sevilla, 91, of Stigler, formerly of Hawaii and California, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, in Stigler. She was the widow of Frank Sevilla.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Stigler City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Adams of Antioch, Calif.; a brother, Sal Lopez of California; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.

Helen Just
SALLISAW — Helen L. Just, 76, of Sallisaw died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, in Sallisaw. She was born May 18, 1928, in Paris. She was a nurses aide at nursing homes and a Protestant.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
She is survived by her husband, Carl; three daugthers, Marie Wheeler of Branch, Debbie Henson of Springdale, and Terri of Texas; a son, Elroy Santisterans of Texas; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mykaela Evans
KEOTA, Okla. — Mykaela Briana Evans, 11 weeks old, infant daughter of Brandon and Michele Evans of Keota, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, in Stigler.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Assembly of God in Keota with burial at Simon Issac Cemetery in Keota under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Sally Briggs of Long Beach, Miss.; maternal grandparents, Dale and Melvina Hooker of Keota; paternal great-grandparents, Clarence and Florine Evans of Gulfport, Miss.; and maternal great-grandmother, Corrine Brammer of Keota.
Pallbearers will be Dale Hooker, Clint and Paul Upchurch and Harold McGuire.

Opal Jordan
MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Opal Jean Jordan, 51, of Muskogee died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, in Muskogee. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. today at Antioch Cemetery in Stigler under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; three daughters, Shannon Webster of Whitefield, Danielle Arhens of Siloam Springs, and Penny Edgerton of Hornwald, Tenn.; three sons, Billy Holley of Stigler, Robert Holley of Whitefield, and James Holley of Muskogee; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Thomas and Joseph Jordan, James Webster, Jerry Heneha, Buddy Rada and Robert Holley.

Lela Duncan
WALDRON — Lela T. Duncan, 93, of Waldron died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker, a member of Pilot Prairie Church and the widow of Bud Duncan.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron with burial at Pilot Prairie Cemetery near Waldron.
She is survived by a son, Larry Duncan of Waldron; a twin sister, Lena Jones of Waldron; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Darvin, Bill, Jerry and Vestal Hutchens, Wayne Johnson and Danny Rhyne.
The body may be viewed 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Clyde Noel Sr.
VIAN — Clyde C. Noel Sr., 87, of Vian died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, in Vian. He was born Sept. 20, 1917, in Sequoyah County. He was a farmer in California, a Protestant and the widower of Lois Noel.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Box Cemetery north of Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
He is survived by two sons, Clyde Noel Jr. of Vian and Jerry Noel of Argonia, Kan.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Carson Wann
POTEAU — Carson Daniel Wann, infant son of Danny and Elizabeth Wann of Poteau, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, in Fort Smith.
A private family service was held Monday at Monroe Cemetery under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Sabrina Wann; a brother, Nickolas Wann; his maternal grandparents, Floyis and Wanda Clay of Poteau; his paternal grandparents, Jim and Nancy Wann of Poteau; paternal great-grandmothers, Marie Wann and Freda Baird; and maternal great-grandmother, Ellen Chandler.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons Memorial Bible program at Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.

John Lowe
KEOTA, Okla. — John R. Lowe, 45, of Keota died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, in Keota.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Keota Assembly of god with burial at Keota Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler, Okla.
Pallbearers will be Abner Dillard, Neal Perry, Kenneth Gilpen, Cotton Ballard, Brad Lowe and Shane Walker.
The body may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today.

Mac Pinson
SALLISAW — Mac Pinson, 83, of Sallisaw died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, in Sallisaw. She was born Sept. 6, 1921, in Brinkley. She was a homemaker, a member Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw where she was a longtime Sunday school teacher, and the widow of Neal Riddle and W.H. Pinson.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with burial at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
She is survived by a daughter, Martha Demaree of Sallisaw; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Sam McCawley, Ewell Adams, Donnie Poindexter, Robert Starr, Norman Lancaster and Dr. Jim Trudeau.
The body may be viewed from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

William Fitzer
BROOKEN, Okla. — William “Bennie” Fitzer, 83, of Brooken died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, in Stigler, Okla. He was a graduate of Quinton High School, a veteran of World War II, and a member of Faith Community Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Community Church with burial at Brooken Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler. Military rites conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4446 of Stigler.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie; a daughter, Linda Montgomery of Quinton, Okla.; a son, the Rev. Bill Fitzer of Brooken; two grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dink and Jeff Bush, Bill Hollingshead, Sonny Keele, Mickey Spears and Rick Goodman.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.

Anna Pixley
TULSA — Anna Lee Pixley, 89, of Tulsa died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, in Broken Arrow, Okla. She was born May 1, 1915, in Sulligent, Ala. She was a homemaker, a member of Bowlegs First Assembly of God and Women’s Missionary Society and the widow of Orvel Pixley.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bowlegs First Assembly of God with burial at Wolf Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Okla.
She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Pixley of Tulsa; a son, David Pixley of Fort Smith; two sisters, Vera Mullen of Seminole and Denver Hardin of Grants Pass, Ore.; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John, Alan and Jeremy Pixley, Kevin and Nathan Anders and Randall Moore.

Jessie Walls
TULSA — Jessie Nora Walls, 91, of Tulsa, formerly of Sallisaw, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, in Tulsa. She was born Sept. 26, 1913, in Sallisaw. She was a homemaker and a Protestant.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Sallisaw City Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Louise and Bonita Walls, and Doris Strickland, all of Tulsa; a son, Darrell Walls of Tulsa; and two sisters, Eva Campbell of Amarillo, Texas, and Eunice House of Bartlesville, Okla.
Pallbearers will be family.
The body may be viewed 8 a.m. to noon today.

Monroe McAfee
MOFFETT — Monroe McAfee, 69, of Moffett died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in Fort Smith. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of United Furniture Workers. He worked at Garrison Furniture Factory for 37 years and retired from American Freightways in 1997.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Full Gospel Church in Moffett with burial at Roland Cemetery in Roland under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
He is survived by three sons, Duane McAfee of Fort Smith, Roger McAfee of Moffett and Tammy McAfee of Muldrow; two sisters, Flossy Tyler of Fort Smith and E.J. Popp of Illinois; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery and Jeff Weatherford, Gerald Griffin, Ricky Pound, Tony Pennington and Aaron Vanzandt.
The body may be viewed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Monday at the funeral home.
The family will visit with friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
