Grace Breeden
SALLISAW — Grace A. Breeden, 71, of Sallisaw died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, in Sallisaw. She was born Feb. 1, 1934, in Bristol, Pa. She was a homemaker, a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sallisaw where she was active in the women’s group and a former organist, a graduate of Briston High School in Pennsylvania, and the widow of Gordon Breeden Jr.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church in Sallisaw. The body was cremated under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Greene of Mochsville, N.C., Julia Sophy of Orwigsburg, Pa., and Mary Van Domelen of Katy, Texas; two sisters, Judy Veigel and Jean Ballard, both of Sallisaw; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sequoyah Memorial Hospice, P.O. Box 505, Sallisaw, OK 74955.

W.B. Philpot
SALLISAW — W.B. “Bill” Philpot, 83, of Sallisaw died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, in Sallisaw. He was born March 1, 1921, in Sequoyah County. He was a warehouse foreman at Tempte Trailers in Denver and a Protestant. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II serving in Europe, and he received the European Theater Badge with three major battle stars, Purple Heart with two clusters, Overseas Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Badge and qualifying medals for small and large arms. He was the widower of Lillian Philpot.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Sallisaw City Cemetery.
He is survived by a stepson, Jack Sumpter of Denver; three sisters, Cleo Jamison, Grace Perryman and Anna Chandler, all of Sallisaw; two brothers, Norman Philpot of Sallisaw and Wesley Philpot of Tulsa; and two stepgrandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Doug Hodge, Dennis and Johnny Brewer, and Paul, Rick, Steve, Hoyt and Stan Philpot.
The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Oma Tatham
SALLISAW — Oma Faye Tatham, 80, of Sallisaw died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, in Sallisaw. She was born June 7, 1924, in Harrison community in Oklahoma. She was a homemaker, a member of Watts Holiness Church where she was children’s Sunday school teacher for 40 years, and attended school at Harrison and Watts.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with burial at Buffington Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
She is survived by her husband, Farris; three daughters, Sue Tatham of the home, Donna Jamison of Sallisaw, and Beverly Harris of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two sisters, her twin, Noma Stites, and Madie Stephens, both of Sallisaw; seven grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Melvin, William, Roger and Charles Stites, Curtis and Steve Stephens, Jimmy Timmerman and Jim Stewart.
Honorary pallbearers will be Watts Church family.
The body may be viewed 1 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Watts Holiness Church, Rt. 2, Box 92, Sallisaw, OK 74955; or Buffington Cemetery, Rt. 2, box 81, Sallisaw, OK 74955.

Jack Cotherman
MULDROW — Jack LeRoy Cotherman, 74, of Muldrow died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, in Fort Smith. He was born April 16, 1930, in Weirton, W.Va. He was a retired senior master sergeant after 21 years in the Air Force, a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, an active member of VFW Post No. 4518, and the widower of Wanda Cotherman.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Muldrow.
He is survived by two daughters, Carol Craig of Morgantown, W.Va., and Patricia Cotherman of Roland; three stepchildren, Debbie Donald, and Glen and Russell Van Osdel; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Agnes Tullis
OKLAHOMA CITY — Agnes Tullis, 87, of Oklahoma City died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, in Oklahoma City. She worked as a cafe cook and was the widow of Yuho Kunsela and Ben Tullis.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Antioch Cemetery in Stigler under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by two sisters, Jerlene Hoskins of Oklahoma City and Norma Fox of Cocoa, Fla.; two brothers, Bud Peevyhouse of Oklahoma City and P.L. Peevyhouse of New Brownsville, Texas.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.

Barney Dodd
SHADY POINT — Barney Dodd, 92, of Shady Point died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, in Grove, Okla. He was born July 29, 1912, in Bonham, Texas. He was a Pentecostal Church of God minister for more than 50 years, and the widower of Barbara Dodd.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pentecostal Church of God in Panama with burial at Fairview Cemetery in Panama under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Abbott of Prairie Grove; four sons, David and Sam Dodd, both of Prairie Grove, and Mark and John Dodd, both of Grove, Okla.; five stepchildren, Richard, Mary, Lillie, Norman and Roger Houston; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert Newkirk, Joey Clary, Travis Robinson, Paul Leuschen, Steve Hobbs, Tyler Spradling and Robert Williamson.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Family and friends will gather at the home of Norma and Joe Huffman at 26569 Schoolhouse Loop in Bokoshe, Okla., (918) 963-2745.

Betty Davis
SPIRO — Betty Jane Freeman Davis, 62, of Spiro died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, in Fort Smith. She was a member Flowerhill Pentecostal Church of God.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro with burial at Old Cache Cemetery in Keota.
She is survived by her husband, Kirksey; two daughters, Mary Walls and Brenda Vandergriff, both of Spiro; two sons, David and Eugene Davis, both of Spiro; two sisters, Rosie Schmitt of Belpree, Kan., and Ruth Lindsey of Fort Smith; three brothers, Edward Freeman Jr. of Ada, Okla., Paul Freeman of Cedarville, and Robert Freeman of Alma; six stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Smith, Haskell Wall III, Melvin Walters, Glen Patterson, Billy Davis and Edward Freeman Jr.
The body may be viewed a the funeral home.

Pauline Holley
KINTA, Okla. — Pauline Holley, 71, of Kinta died Sunday, March 6, 2005.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Lona Valley Cemetery in Quinton, Okla., under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by a son, Gervis Hamilton of Wichta Falls, Texas; three sisters, Wanda McCoy of Thermopolis, Wyo., Velma Gill of Stillwell, Okla., and Barbara Walden of Chelsea, Okla.; and a brother, Bobby Hamilton of Pryor, Okla.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hamilton, George and David Gill, Johnny and Junior Holly and Travis Eslick.
L.A. Morrison

STIGLER — L.A. Morrison, 85, of Stigler died Sunday, March 6, 2005, in Talhina. He was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4446 of Stigler, served in the Navy, was a retired construction supervisor and was the widower of Mildred Morrison and Cleo Morrison.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Garland Cemetery in Stigler with military honors by VFW Post No. 4446 under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
He is survived by a daughter, Sue Boles of Mineral Ridge, Ohio; a stepson, Jerald Livesay of Stigler; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
There will be no viewing.

Mildred Stroud
SPIRO — Mildred Mae Stroud, 78, of Spiro died Saturday, March 5, 2005, in Fort Smith. She was born Feb. 3, 1927, in Harrisburg. She was a homemaker and the widow of Roy Stroud.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro with burial at Keota City Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Mouser of Eufaula, Okla., and Bonnie West of Spiro; two sons, Jimmy Culbreath of Spiro and Jerry Culbreath of Benton Harbor, Mich.; a sister, Nadine Baker of Eufaula, Okla.; a brother, Thomas Swiney of Spiro; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Mouser, Jerry Barnes, Cody Tackett, Shane Delaney, Brian Nixon, Kelly Rowan and Dillon Gorham.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

LaVerne Wilson
TULSA — LaVerne Shockley Wilson, 85, of Tulsa died Saturday, March 5, 2005, in Tulsa. She was born April 13, 1919, in Greenwood. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School, owned a grocery store in Greenwood and owned and operated Archer Park Grocery in Tulsa. She was a member of Community Baptist Church and the widow of Chester Wilson.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Moore’s Southlawn Chapel in Tulsa.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Pruett of Tulsa; and a brother, Bob Shockley of Chesterfield, Mo.

Allen Rogers
SALLISAW — Allen Wayne Rogers, 43, of Sallisaw died Saturday, March 5, 2005, in Sallisaw. He was born Feb. 28, 1962, in Sallisaw. He was a property management director and a Baptist, and received two scholarships in heating and air from the Indian Capitol Technology Center in Sallisaw.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Blunt Baptist Church north of Sallisaw with burial at Drake Stand Cemetery west of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger; a daughter, Candace Rogers of Sallisaw; two sons, Clinton Rogers and Allen Rogers II, both of the home; four stepchildren, Angela, Gary, Joey and Kevin Wedge; his mother, Phyllis Cullipher of Sallisaw; three sisters, Laura Bowman of Tahlequah, Okla., Twila McGinnis and Victoria Hammer, both of Sallisaw; one grandchild; and four stepgrandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Allen White, Gary Wedge, Jeremy, Josh and Chad Small, Clayton Osborne, Anthony Shepard and Harold Fields.
The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Norman Jordan Sr.
BOKOSHE — Norman Dempsey Jordan, Sr., 55, of Bokoshe died Monday, March 7, 2005, in Poteau. He was a member of Spiro United Pentecostal Church and a Navy veteran.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Spiro United Pentecostal Church with burial at Milton Cemetery in Bokoshe under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; three sons, Norman Jordan Jr., Joseph Jordan Sr. and Thomas Jordan, all of Bokoshe; 10 brothers, Bill Jordan of Oregon, Jerry Jordan of Washington, Carl Jordan of Muskogee, Okla., Roger Jordan of Orange, Calif., John Jordan of Elcentro, Calif., Tracy Jordan of Keota, Okla., Jason and Mark Jordan, both of Stigler, Jack Jordan of Crescent, Okla., and David Jordan of Panama; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Keven and Kevin Gorman, Greg Amos, Bobby Holley, Steven Edgerton, Tommy Aherns and Glen Bond.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
