MULDROW — Jeremy Scott Sutton, 27, of Muldrow died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, in Van Buren. He was a construction laborer and was of the Free Holiness faith.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Blackjack Cemetery north of Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.
He is survived by his mother, Lavonne Bernard of Muldrow; his father and stepmother, Pete and Ramona Sutton of Muldrow; his paternal grandmother, Bobbie Ruth Sutton of Muldrow; three stepsisters, Cheryl Brown of North Carolina, Terri Sutton of Sallisaw and Mironda Bernard of Lavaca.
Pallbearers will be Kevin, Robert and Calvin Welch, Michael Albertson Jr., Phillip Goines and Jimmy Sutton.
The body may be viewed from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

James Ellis
TALIHINA — James Richard Ellis, 59, of Talihina, formerly of Waldron and Mena, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, in Poteau. He was born Dec. 23, 1945, in Memphis. He was a helicopter mechanic and served in the Army in Vietnam, he worked in carpentry and woodworking, and was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Waldron Freewill Baptist Church with graveside service at 1 p.m. Monday at Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington, Tenn., under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
He is survived by two daughters, Lisa and Debra Ellis; four sisters, Barbara Perry of Halls, Tenn., Kathy Miller and Sandra Yarbrough, both of Memphis, and Debbie Sparks of Waldron; and a brother, Bobby Ellis of Atoka, Tenn.

Mason Ivey
TALIHINA — Mason Ivey, 86, of Talihina died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, in Fort Smith. He was born March 15, 1918, in Bokoshe. He was a carpenter, an active member of County Line Church and teacher for the junior boys class.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at County Line Christ Church in County Line with burial at County Line Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Winifred; two sons, Garry Ivey of Poteau and Mark Ivey of Shawnee, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Van Meter, Dustin Lawless, Leon Lowrimore, Steven, Kevin and Matthew Ivey.

Paulette Harris
CAMERON — Paulette Oleta Harris, 55, of Cameron died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005. She was born May 1, 1949.
A celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Poteau with burial at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by her husband, William; her children Ron, Carolyn and Jonathan Sloan; Frank Nichols Sr. and Larry Nichols and Shirley Neff; her father, Paul Nichols; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Frank Nichols Jr., Tony Nichols, Dennis Morris, Jerl Mitchell, Shawn Henry and Duane Donaho.
The body may be viewed at 1 p.m. Friday prior to the funeral service.

Mario Tambolleo
WISTER — Mario Vittorio Tambolleo, 90, of Wister, formerly of San Clemente, Calif., died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, in Wister. He was born Dec. 7, 1914, in Scauri, Italy. He was self-employed and the widower of Nellie Tambolleo.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau
He is survived by a stepdaughter, Gloria Hall of Poteau; and five grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Poteau Dialysis Center, 1200 Central St., Poteau, OK 74953.

Myrtle DeWitt
CAMERON — Myrtle Neoma DeWitt, 91, of Cameron died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, in Cameron. She was a homemaker and the widow of Lonnie DeWitt.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God in Panama with burial at Fairview Cemetery in Panama under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by six daughters, Oleda Helton of Shady Point, Lucille Dees of Spiro, Betty DeWitt of Tahona, Okla., Doris Thomas of Vista, Calif., Nadine Wells of Big Cedar and Dessa DeWitt of the home; a son, Donnie DeWitt of Wister; a sister, Eveline Monks of Cameron; a brother, Vernon Ward of Fort Smith; 33 grandchildren; and 57 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her children.

Lona F. Haney
Lona F. Haney, 88, of Monroe died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, in Poteau. She was a homemaker and a member of Monroe Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Haney; and one granddaughter, Ramona Haney Mier.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Monroe Baptist Church with burial at Monroe City Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Hartford.
She is survived by one son, Charles Haney of Sachse, Texas; one daughter, Frances Shankle of Monroe; two sisters, Elizabeth Sloan of Brownsville, Okla., and Nell Martin of Garland, Texas; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Woodrow Goins
REPUBLIC, Mo. — Woodrow “Woody” Goins, 83, of Republic, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, in Republic. He was born Jan. 6, 1922, in Poteau. He was an Army veteran, graduated from Oklahoma State University, taught school in Nebraska, was a manager of a local farmer’s cooperative and a division manager for Famer’s Industries.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Grace Manor Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Poteau with burial at Vaughn Cemetery in Gilmore.
He is survived by his wife, Edith; two sons, Keith of Republic, Mo., and Dennis of Nixa, Mo.; five sisters, Irene Vermette of Holt, Mich., Loretta McParland and Iris McCullough, both of Atwater, Calif., Ruby Gregory and Kathy Himes, both of Poteau; two brothers, Al of Las Vegas and Vinyard of Tracy, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Garland Gilstrap
WATERFORD, Mich. — Garland T. “Jiggs” Gilstrap, 80, of Waterford, Mich., formerly of Poteau, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005. He was born Oct. 2, 1924, in Cedars, Okla. He was a welder at General Motors Fisher Body and a longtime member of the First Brethren Church in Pontiac, Mich.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Evans & Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three sisters, Betty Vick, Lavada McKinzie, and Pat Qualls; and a brother, Phillip Gilstrap.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Barbara Dodd
SHADY POINT — Barbara Willingham Carson Dodd, 76, of Shady Point died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005, in Grove, Okla. She was born May 21, 1928, in Panama. She was a homemaker and the widow of Hansel Carson.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Pentecostal Church of God in Panama with burial at Shady Point Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by her husband, Barney; two stepsons, Mark and John Dodd, both of Grove.

Pearl Hefley
STIGLER — Pearl Hefley, 93, of Stigler died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, in Stigler. She was a retired restaurant worker and the widow of Calvin Hefley.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Tamaha Cemetery in Tamaha, Okla., under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by two daughters, Thelma Wilkett of Stigler and Zellia Cates of Tulsa; two sons, Calvin Hefley of Fort Smith and Lionel Hefley of Tulsa; three sisters, Elsie Monroe and Clara Glendening, both of Bixby, Okla., and Velma Merriman of Tulsa; a brother, Clinton Bryant of Coweta, Okla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.

Edward Garrett
TALIHINA — Edward Garrett, 70, of Talihina died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 24, 1924, in Clovis, N.M. He was a self-employed roofer and a member of the United Roofers & Waterproofers & Allied Workers.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace Manor Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Poteau with burial at Talihina Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Flossie Arnold of Dallas and Jeanie Holland of Poteau; five sons, Jay Garrett of Vermont, Jerry Vadnais of Talihina, Mike Vadnais of Broken Bow, Okla., Pat Vadnais of Cosebay, Ore., and Jack Vadnais of Napa, Calif.; a sister, Billie Hamilton of Atlanta, Texas; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Earl, Russell and Tim Holland, Tommy and Blake Wageman, Tanner Trowbridge, Wayne Talley and Tommy Edwards.
The family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Juanita Goodin
RIVERSIDE, CALIF. — Juanita Loreen Allen Goodin, 77, of Stigler, Okla., died Sunday, June 17, 2001, in Riverside, Calif. She was born January 3, 1924, in Stigler. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Friday at Milton Cemetery in Milton, Okla., under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenda King of Salt Lake City and Carolyn Everson of Moreno Valley, Calif.; two sons, David King of Oklahoma City and Kirby James of Plum, Texas; a sister, Margaret Pierce of Panama; a brother, Mark Allen Jr. of Washington; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Lonnie Fuller
POCOLA — Lonnie Ray Fuller, 35, of Pocola died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, in his home. He was born Nov. 10, 1969, in Fort Smith. He was a 1988 graduate of Pocola High School.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pocola Christian Fellowship Assembly of God with burial at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by his parents, Sammie and Cathy Fuller of Pocola; a brother, Mark Fuller; his grandmothers, Winnie Fuller and Doris Sindle, both of Pocola.
Pallbearers will be his longtime friends, Tommy and Billy Salter, Matt Wilson, Robert Nugent, Henry Blair, Gary Moore, Bubba Treat and Adam Freitas.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
