BOBBIE L. PERRYMAN

Bobbie L. Perryman, 67, of Ramona, OK, died Friday, April 26, 2002 at the Glenpool Health Care Center. He was born on April 9, 1935 in Hobart, OK and had lived in Ramona and Okmulgee area most of his life.

He was a retired paint and body repair man. He had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Ramona V.F.W. and was a Baptist.

Survivors include children LeAnn Edmonds, Tim Perryman, and Evon Horn, all of Okmulgee; a brother, Leon Perryman of Preston; two sisters, Wanda Pierce of Sapulpa and Joyce Mackey of Claremore; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 30, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Oak Dale Cemetery in Paden, OK with Rev. Buddy Glenn Powell and Rev. Ronnie Hardage officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home of Sapulpa.

WAYNE DICKEY

Wayne Dickey, 67, of Henryetta died April 28, 2002 at Henryetta.

Services are pending with the Rogers Funeral Home.

HUBERT E. DURBIN

Hubert Eugene Durbin, 72, of Tulsa and formerly of Dewar, died April 27, 2002 in Tulsa. He was born May 10,1929 in Dewar to Houston Durbin and Cassie Camp Durbin.

He married Peggy Irene Lackey on Sept.16, 1947 at Okmulgee. He was a self employed TV technician with Radio, Inc., before retiring in1980. He attended Dewar Public schools and was a member of the Garden Heights Freewill Baptist Church in Prattville. He was preceded in death by a son, Rickey Omer Durbin, and his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Irene Durbin of the home in Tulsa; three brothers, Raymond Durbin of Greenwood, Miss., Norman Durbin and wife Ella Lee of Dewar and Melvin Durbin of Redondo Beach, Calif.; a sister, LaWanda Freeman and husband Paul of Muskogee and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be Wednesday, May 1 at 2 p.m, at the Garden Heights Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Doyle Baker officiating.

Burial will be in the Lackey Cemetery under direction of the Shurden Funeral Home.

SYVILLA JACOBS

Syvilla Lorene Jacobs, 87, of Henryetta died April 28, 2002 at Henryetta.

Services are pending with Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta.

CLYDE TABOR

Clyde Tabor, 79, of Haltom City, Texas and formerly of Preston died April 26, 2002 in Texas. He wa born July 27, 1922 in Arkansas to Guy and Linnie Tabor.

He was raised in Preston where he attended school and worked on the family farm. He was married to Marcella Arnold in January of 1943. He served in the military in the South Pacific during World War II. The family later moved to Haltom City where they owned and operated several businesses. He also purchased a ranch in Roanoke, known as the T4, where he raised cattle and horses. He later moved his ranching operation to Ponder, Texas, where it continues. He wa a member of the Blossom Hill Family Church in Haltom City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella and a daughter Deede.

Survivors include a daughter, Bee Bee Ortega and husband Manny; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sisters, Vandetta Goodman, Hazel Weber, Betty Stoker and Barbara Davis; and a brother, Jim Tabor.

Funeral services were Monday at the Lucas Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Worth, Texas. Burial will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 30 in the Beggs Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Blossom Hill Family Church, 5626 Ezell, Haltom City, Texas, 76117.

DONALD CAYWOOD

Donald Andrew Caywood, 64, of Henryetta died April 24, 2002 at his home. He was born July29, 1937 at Henryetta to Andrew Butler Caywood and Opal E .Anderson Caywood.

He was a member of the VFW and worked at Caywood Auto parts and Garage. He loved fishing and the outdoors.

Survivors include a son, David Andrew Caywood of Choctaw; two daughters, Shirley Jean Dutton and Karen Sue Eastep; a brother, Sammy Caywood of Terrilton; two sisters, Shirley Goodman of Dewar and Wanda Caywood; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 27 at the Robert Simons Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Don Murray officiating.

FAIRES E. LEE

Faires Edward Lee, 75, longtime Okmulgee resident, died Wednesday morning, April 17, 2002. He was born February 23, 1927 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Buddy and Harriet (Howard) Lee.

He married Hazel Peters on October 16, 1948 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II. They moved to Okmulgee 1964 from Redondo Beach, California. He had worked for McDonnell-Douglas, was self employed as a Conoco Station owner in Okmulgee, and had owned a refuse service in Broken Arrow and Jenks. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gus Lee and two sisters, Edith Greer and Leora Ford.

Survivors include his wife Hazel of the home, a daughter Janet Lee of Okmulgee, two nieces and three nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2002 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jack Shock officiating.

Burial will follow in the Morris Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Earl Fisher, John Lewis, Jim Peters, Herbert Peters, Jay Jennings, and Ernest Hughes.

Military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 1189 of Okmulgee and VFW Post 539 of Henryetta.

Visitation will be Friday from 10-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

ROBERT BOYD (BOBBY) FISHER

Robert Boyd (Bobby) Fisher, born May 31,1973 in Okmulgee died Saturday, April 13, 2002 at his home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Bobby grew up in Nuyaka where he attended Nuyaka Elementary school. He graduated from Beggs High School in 1991. Bobby worked for several local ranches through high school, then in the spring of 1992, joined the United States Army where he served for 3 years at Fort Knox, Kentucky. After his duty was served, Bobby married Susan Goff of Louisville, Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; a son Codey Wayne Fisher and and daughter, Katelin Ilexis Fisher, all of the home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky; his mother and stepfather, Joy Kay and Nelson Reeder of Nuyaka; his father Jerry Fisher of Morris; a sister, Robin Wright and her husband Kevin; of Drumright; a brother Brad Fisher and his wife Mandi of Nuyaka; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hap and Opal Foster, and Paternal grandparents, Bea and Earnest Fisher.

Bobby liked to be surrounded by friends and family. We hope you will join Bobby's loved ones as they pay their final tribute. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2002, at the Nuyaka Baptist Church. Pastor David Hamilton will officiate.

Services are under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

JEAN COTTERAL

Jean Cotteral, 89,ofHenryettadied April 16,2002. She was born June 29,1912.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John R. Cotteral in 1985.

Arrangements are pending with Shurden Funeral Home.

FLORINE N. CHILDRESS

Florine N. Childress, a resident of Henryetta, died April 17, 2002 in Henryetta at the age of 76. She was born May15, 1925 in Eufaula, Ok to Harm and Mary Lee. She married George Childress on August 31, 1945 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was a member of the Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin, TX. Florine worked as a hostess at the Holiday Inn in Henryetta for many years . She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter Mary Jeanette Childress.

She is survived by her husband George Childress of the home; two daughters Eyvonne Williams of Austin, TX, Karen Childress of Lahaina, Hawaii; a son George Childress Jr. of The Woodlands, TX;, a sister, Liberty Carr of Muskogee, and one granddaughter.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2002 at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Paslay, officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Enfaula, Ok under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.

DELLA RIGGS

Della Riggs, 99, of Henryetta died April 12, 2002. She was born Oct. 22, 1902 at Bonanza, Ark., to John Leonard Buzan and Edna Martin Buzan.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Stewart's Grocery for many years and later at IGA. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Amazene Jacobson and husband Bill of Baton Rouge, La.; four granddaughters; two great-grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Marshall, Murrell and Willard and two sisters, Ruby Stewart and Fern Baird.

Services will be Saturday, April 20 at the First Christian Church. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Shurden Funeral Home. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Donations may be made to the Henryetta First Christian Church or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1818, Memphis, Tenn. 38101.

ROBERT BOYD (BOBBY) FISHER

Robert Boyd (Bobby) Fisher, born May 31,1973 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2002, at his home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Survivors also include a sister, Robin Wright, her husband Kevin and their son Kyle, all of Drumwright, and a brother Brad Fisher, his wife Mandi, and their children Beth, Clay and Nathan, all of Nuyaka. Other survivors include numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hap and Opal Foster, and Paternal grandparents, Bea and Earnest Fisher.
