LILLIAN DAVIS-BILLIG

Lillian Opal Davis-Billig, 79, of Henryetta died April 25, 2001 in Tulsa. She was born Oct. 2, 1921 in Hoffman, Okla., to Mary Elizbeth and James Downing Collins.

She was co-owner of the Davis Insurance Agency in Henryetta for many years and was known as a fantastic cook who enjoyed putting her many recipes to the taste test. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Everett and George Collins.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Bette and Jim Hays of Jenks; a granddaughter, two great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Emma Collins of Hitchita.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 27 at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Christy officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery.

Viewing and visitation with the family were held from 5 until 8 p.m., Thursday at the Rogers Funeral Home.

JESSIE MAJORS

Jessie (Ruff) Majors, 96, of Sapulpa died in a Sapulpa Nursing Home Monday, April 23, 2001. She was born Aug. 4, 1904 in Welston, Okla., to Clemmie and Ella (Tennessee) Ruff.

She lived in the Beggs area for close to 90 years. She was a member of the Methodist Faith.

Survivors include two sisters Magnolia Clark of Sapulpa and Mable Porter of Oklahoma City.

Those who preceded in her in death where her parents Clemmie and Ella (Tennessee) Ruff, two brothers Crodoza Ruff, Clemmie Ruff Jr., sisters Ophelia Nare, Annie Laura Dodson, Lucille McGlory.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2001 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Beggs with the Reverend Jessie Shaw Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuskegee Cemetery in Beggs under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs. Casketbearers will be her nephews.

Friends and family may visit the funeral home from 9 a.m., until service time Friday.

BOBBY ESLICK

Bobby Eslick, 57, of Tulsa and formerly of Henryetta died April 21, 2001 at Henryetta. He was born Jan. 26, 1944 in Arbeka, Okla., to Oliver E. Eslick and Lillie Lee Fowler Eslick.

He was married to Mildred Sabelo on Aug.8, 1988. He was of the Baptist Faith and a pipeliner with the Sagebrush Pipeline and Supply. He served in the United States Army for 10 years and was ranked as a sergeant before his honorable discharge in 1975. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Richard, Don and Billie Jo Eslick; a sister, Leona Mae Cooper; a grandson, Joshua Ziegler and an uncle, Tom Fowler.

Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Robbie Eslick of Michigan; three step-daughters, Mary Kamler of Tulsa, Carolynn O. Fike of Montana and Mildred L. Tucker of Tulsa; three brothers, Golman Eslick, Roscoe Eslick, and Red Eslick; 12 grandchildren and an aunt.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, April 27 at the Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Pitman officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery under direction of the Shurden Funeral Home.

Military services will be conducted by Henryetta VFW Post 539 and Okmulgee VFW Post 1189.

MARCIA E. BROWN

Marcia E. Brown, 78, of Bella Vista, Ark., formerly of Okmulgee, died April 24, 2001 at Bates Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark. She was born May 8, 1922 in Meeker, Okla., to Allen Haley and Ethel Saffle Haley.

She was a longtime resident of Okmulgee before moving to Bella Vista in September of 1988. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Rogers, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John S. Brown, who died Dec. 8,1980, a brother, Jack and a sister, Mary.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Brown and wife Sildeth of Holdenville and Joe A. Brown and wife Midge of Bella Vista, Ark.; one daughter, Janie Combrink and husband Max of Bella Vista; two brothers, Ben and Charles; two sisters, Loretha and G'ola, all of California; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 27 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Rogers, Ark., with Rev. Norman Hamby officiating. Graveside service and burial will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery at 4 p.m., Friday with services under direction of the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

THOMAS DOYLE KERNS

Thomas Doyle "T. D." Kerns, 71, of Henryetta died Monday, April 23, 2001. He was born May 6, 1929 in Gulftown, Okla., to Doyle Kerns and Vesta Bardin Kerns.

He was married to Mary Patricia "Pat" McManus on Aug. 18, 1951 at Henryetta. He was a member of the 4th Degree of Knights of Columbus, St. Michael's Men's Club and a former member of Elks Club and Optimist Club. He served the City of Henryetta as Planning and Zoning Commissioner. He started his career with Gulf Oil Company in Seminole in 1951, transferring to Camp Hill, Pa., in 1958 to work for Laurel Pipeline. In 1964 the family returned to Henryetta where he became part owner of Progressive Chevrolet, which he operated until 1987. After retiring from the car business, he went into the real estate business until the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, John Gayle Kerns; his stepfather, Thomas Wilson and his mother, Vesta Wilson.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Kerns of the home; two daughters, Debbie Murray and husband Jim of Tulsa and Lori Humphrey and husband Mark of Morris; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; an aunt and three uncles.

A Rosary will be held Thursday at 7p.m., at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Memorial services will be Friday, April 27, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Michael's Catholic Church officiated by Father Neal Brogan.

A private family burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery. Services are under direction of the Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta.

LAVERN RADEBAUGH

Lavern "Fat" Radebaugh, 77, of Henryetta died April 24, 2001 at Henryetta. He was born Oct. 25, 1923 in Henryetta to Edward and Esta (Hurst) Radebaugh.

He married Pauline Condren on April 18, 1944 at Henryetta. He retired from the Henryetta Laundry and Cleaners after some 35 years. He served in World War II in the United States Army and is a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Duane Radebaugh.

Survivors include his wife of the home; two daughters, Linda and Harry Atkins of Panama and Karen and Gary Nichols of Claremore; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Edna Mae Bushong of Shawnee and Betty Lou Thompson of Phoenix, Ariz.

Services will be at 3 p.m., Thursday at the First United Methodist Church of Henryetta with Rev. Rick Robart officiating. Burial will be in the Westlawn Cemetery under direction of the Rogers Funeral Home of Henryetta. Pallbearers will be Bruce Bushong, Ronnie Bushong, Dude Bushong, Raymond Padgett, Raymond Dale Padgett, Dale Padgett and Bill Phillipe.

DORIS ALLISON

Doris Allison, 86, of Fort Worth, Texas and formerly of Henryetta died April 29, 2001 in Hurst, Texas. She was born July 31, 1914 in Wetumka to Charlie Moore and E. Floy Collins Moore.

She was married to J.F. "June" Allison on Aug, 24, 1933 in Okmulgee. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors include three sons, Charles Franklin Allison of Moran, Kan., Robert Wayne Allison of Riverside, Calif., and Darrell R. Allison of Florida; five daughters, Edith Wynona Winkelpleck of Downey, Calif., Lawanna L. Caudle of Fort Worth, Texas, Barbara Ann Cook of Claremore, E. Faye Foreman of Norman and Linda Jane Pinkston of North Richland Hills, Calif.; a sister, Evelyn Patterson; 31 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, April 28 at 1 p.m. at the Shurden Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Lackey Cemetery under direction of the Shurden Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Winkelpleck, Kenny Allison, David Caudle, Daniel Allison, Kevin Cook, Joshua Foreman, David Pinkston and Chris Allison.

HAROLD D. DELONIA JR.

Harold D. Delonia Jr., 42, a former resident of Okmulgee, died Friday, April 20 in Oklahoma City. He was born July 16, 1958 in Wichita, Kans., to Harold Sr. and Bennie Ruth (Douglas) Delonia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a laborer.

Preceding him in death were his father and one brother.

Survivors include his mother, Bennie Ruth Delonia, Okmulgee; four sons, Harold Delonia III, Sacremento, Calif., Harold D. Delonia IV of Kansas City, Kan., Darius Delonia of Wichita, Kan., and Dominique Delonia of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Nateshia Delonia, Tulsa and Vinicity Delonia of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, Donnie Delonia of Okmulgee and George Delonia of Kanas City, Mo; four sisters, Barbara Ranson of Okmulgee, Angela Franks of Tulsa, Ruth Sims of Waco, TX, Christina Curley of Tulsa; four grandchildren along with numerous relatives and friends.

A service of memory will be conducted on Saturday, April 28, 2001 in the New Salem Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Cane Creek Cemetery, Boynton, OK, under the direction of the House of Winn Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, April 27th, from 12 noon to 6 p.m.
