Cease
CEASE -- Oscar L. "Tootie," 84, died peacefully in his sleep on February 28, 2005, at his home in Las Cruces, NM, with his wife of 52 years, Phyllis Cease at his side. He is survived by: his wife, Phyllis; son, Alan Cease and wife, Dinora of Las Vegas, NV; daughter-in-law, Jyne Cease; grandson, Lance Cease of Eufaula, OK; stepchildren, Sandra Whitman and husband, Richard, Denzel Lawson and companion, Linda Patterson; and grandson Damon Lawson, all of Houston, TX. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Florence Carson of Wichita, KS, and many other wonderful relatives and friends. Oscar was a loving husband and father. Throughout his life he made many friends. He will be dearly missed by all who know him. Oscar worked at Boeing in Wichita, KS, for many years, and later for Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa as a Quality Control Inspector through 1961. He served as a Quality Control Inspector for Northrup Grumman in California, retiring 1986. Cremation services were held in Las Cruces. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Baptist Church, 2300 East Missouri, Las Cruces, NM 88001.

Cooper
COOPER, Allan Gene, 59, went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 31, 2005, after a 2-year battle with brain cancer. Born April 25, 1945, in Vinita, OK, to John and Beatrice Cooper. Gene graduated from Daniel Webster High School, Class of 1963. He married Linda Kay Carter on November 23, 1963. He was in the U.S. Army for 3 years stationed in Germany and received the rank of Sergeant. Gene was Production Supervisor for the Unit Rig Corporation in Lufkin, TX. He and his family returned to Tulsa in 1983, where he was reunited with close friends and family. Gene enjoyed keeping busy and had many interests such as welding (which was also one of his occupations), home construction, gardening, fishing, boating and travel. He was a beloved family man. He was loved by all who knew him and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by: his father, John; and sister, Koren Gibson. He is survived by: his mother, Beatrice Gilmore of California; his wife of 41 years, Linda; 2 daughters, Gena Giacomo and husband, Paul of Tulsa, Cindy McGuire and husband, Coby of Sapulpa; 3 grandchildren, Kayley Giacomo, Cole and Cassidy McGuire; 1 brother, John and wife, Trudy of Tulsa; a sister, Ina Jane Camara and husband, Jim of Manteca, CA; many
nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts, all of whom thought Gene to be very special to them. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2005, at Church of the Nazarene, Sapulpa, with Reverend Curtis Martin officiating. Interment will be at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the Odyssey Hospice of Tulsa for their loving service and care to Gene, and also to neighbors, Lillie Epps and Mary Ball for their loving support and care.

Hudacek
HUDACEK -- Karen Irene (Chobanian), born April 24, 1954, passed from this life March 29, 2005. She is survived by: her husband of 22 years, Thomas; her daughter, Katie and granddaughter, Kayla; brother, Paul; sisters, Sharon Wagner, Melissa Sammakieh, Mary Smelley and Dawna Jordan; and father, Jack. Preceded in death by: son, Nathaniel Paul; mother, Elizabeth Jeane; and brother, Jack Jr. Family will receive friends Sunday, April 3, 2005, from noon-3:30 p.m., followed by a service at Ninde Garden Chapel. Inman
INMAN -- Tom "Paul Thomas," 80, better known as "T.I," passed to his Heavenly Father at 12:28 p.m. on March 31, 2005, while surrounded by his family. Father, friend, and mentor to many, he will be deeply missed. He is survived by: his loving wife, Vineta (Billie) Inman; son, Tom W. Inman; daughter, Linda Sue Rouse and husband, E. Joe Rouse; son, Lee R. Inman and wife, Penny Inman; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Born in Braggs, OK, on February 14, 1925, Tom was a pioneer in the trucking industry. He maintained one of the most successful trucking firms in the Tulsa area for over 30 years. Many of his innovations are used in the industry today. During his retirement years, he loved to drive through his cattle and talk about the "good old days." With many stories to tell and experiences to share, he always had a cliche to fit any occasion. He was recently inducted as an Elder at the Apostolic Church of Christ. Even though he would say, "He didn't see many 80-year-old men having a good time," he lived life to the fullest and fought a hard fight. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Leonard & Marker Funeral Home of Bixby. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, at the Leonard & Marker Funeral Home Chapel with

LINE -- Robert F., 58, passed away April 1, 2005, in Carrollton, TX, after a battle with cancer. He was born December 29, 1947, in Tulsa, OK, to Clarence and Betty Line. Bob attended East Central High School in Tulsa. He resided in Tulsa until he joined the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. Bob worked at The Reynolds Co. in Dallas and spent his entire career in the electrical industry. A loving son, husband, brother, father and friend, he will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by: his wife, Terri Line; son, Nick Line; mother, Betty Jennings; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Tom Raffensperger; brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Debbie Line; including 8 nieces and nephews and extended family, Bryan and Angel Ables, Jason Ables, Darin and Condra Ables. Visitation will be Sunday, April 3, 2005, from 3-7 p.m. at Sparkman-Dickey Funeral Home, 17501 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX. Schneider
SCHNEIDER -- Frederic Nicholas, Jr., beloved husband and father, passed away at age 82 years and 10 months at St. Simeon's Episcopal Home on March 31, 2005, following a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Fred was born on June 16, 1922, in Keokuk, IA, to Frederic N. Schneider and Luella Buss Schneider. As President of his Senior Class, Fred graduated from high school in 1939. Fred earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa, where he was President of his fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta, and elected to the honorary engineering fraternity, Tau Beta Pi. Following graduation in 1943, Fred entered the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant J.G., training at Notre Dame University and the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, specializing in munitions. During World War II Fred served in England in support of the D-Day invasion delivering ammunition and other ordnance to American and British war ships, including the battleships New York, Nevada and Texas. After D-Day, Fred returned to the U.S. and married Marian Ilene Nelson of Keokuk, IA. Fred was transferred to the Pacific, where he served for 22 months on the island of Saipan. Following WWII, Fred worked in the oil fields of Texas and Oklahoma before returning to Oklahoma University for
a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering. From there Fred moved to Tulsa and worked for Amoco Production Company, formerly Pan American Oil Company, for 29 years as a Research Engineer. After retiring from Amoco in 1981, he joined the Keplinger Companies, serving as the Director of Keplinger Laboratories, Inc. in Tulsa and consulting in Cairo, Egypt and the Sinai Desert and teaching Petroleum Engineers in Daching, China. Fred was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, YMCA, Toastmasters Club and Boy Scout Troop 65 at Southminster. Fred was devoted to his family, and he and Marian enjoyed traveling in this country and in Europe, including England, Scotland, Wales and Italy. Fred was preceded in death by: his parents, F.N. and Luella Schneider; sister, Muriel Marcene; sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Edward Short; nephew, John Short; and brother-in-law, Jerald C. Brauer. Fred will be deeply missed by: his wife, Marian; son, Frederic N. (Nick) Schneider III and daughter-in-law, Nancy; daughter, Muriel O'Connell and son-in-law, Sean; daughter, Margaret Burrus and son-in-law, Frank; and grandchildren, F.N. Schneider IV (Fritz) of Denver, CO, Alec M. Schneider and Kylie Jane Schneider of Tulsa, and Brian O'Connell of Columbus, OH. Fred will be missed by the Brauers of Wisconsin and Illinois and the Culbertsons of Louisiana. Friends may call at Ninde Funeral Home, Woodland Memorial Chapel, 5757 S. FRICK -- Alma M. "Francie," 89, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005 in Tulsa, OK. Born October 18, 1915 in Yale, OK to Arthur and Lena Coke. Retired from the Coffee Shop at Tulsa Regional Medical Center. Member of Tenth and Rockford Church of Christ. Preceded in death by: her parents; 3 brothers, Leo, Cleo and Arley; 4 sisters, Beula, Blanche, Orpha and Annis. Survived by: daughter, Shirley Dorl and husband, Herman; son, Tom Frick and wife, Pat; 4 grandchildren, Vickie Meek and husband, Artie, Rae Lynn Cooper, Boyd Frick and wife, Tracee, and Monica Frick; 2 step-grandchildren, Jimmie Cooper and Randy Cooper and wife, Jean; 8 great-grandchildren, Mindie Campbell and husband, Travis, Katie Meek, Tiffanie Meek, Taylor Frick, Hailey Frick, Michael Cooper, Grant Cooper and Stacey Nichols; sister, Wilma Frick of Tulsa; numerous nieces and nephews. Kindschi
KINDSCHI -- Wilbur W. "Bill," 83, of Tulsa, died Saturday morning, April 2, 2005 after a brief illness. The son of John Peter and Nora Marquardt Kindschi, of Garden City, KS, Kindschi was retired after 33 years service at Texaco. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Europe in WWII. He married Mary Ellen Carr of Tulsa in 1947, and was a devoted husband and father, and a loving grandfather to his 6 grandchildren. His easygoing manner and a ready wit kept laughter in his home and endeared him to strangers as well as to friends and family. Generous and kind in all his dealings, he will be sadly missed. Bill is survived by: his wife; daughter, Susan Diehl and husband, Stephen of Mahomet, IL; and son, Michael Kindschi and wife, Vicky of Tulsa; and grandchildren, Scott and Blake Diehl and Sarah Stone, and Matthew, Phillip and Alicia Kindschi. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lorena Drussel of Dodge City, KS. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 5 at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa. LEATH -- Mava (Rowland), age 89 years and 9 months, entered eternal life April 1, 2005 in Tulsa, OK. She was born July 1, 1915 in Harrison, AR, to William H. and Adda Idella (Albright) Rowland. Mava was a retired Insurance Agent and member of Yale Avenue Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Leath volunteered at Meals On Wheels and was very active in the Presbyterian Women's Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Leath, and is survived by: her 5 children: Robert Leath of Tulsa, Margaret Statham of Cortez, CO, James Leath of Tulsa, Paula Jameson of Tucson, AZ, Janet Ames of Owasso; sons-in-law, Mike Ames, Joe Jameson; daughter-in-law, Rose Leath; 11 grandchildren, Aaron McClure, Angela Villa, David McClure, Catherine Swanson, Jennifer Pinkerton, Julie Leath, Mary Ames, Christina Ames, Matthew Ames, Kim Smith, Clint Jameson; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of loved ones. Mitchell
MITCHELL -- Joann S., of Garfield, AR, died Friday, April 1, 2005, of cancer-related causes. She was 75 years old. Joann was born in Oklahoma City on June 23, 1929. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Mitchell of Garfield, AR. Joann is survived by: her 3 children, Victoria Spiegel of Jenks, OK, John J. Spiegel of Tulsa, OK, and Debbie Fletcher of Garfield, AR. Joann also has 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family who were able to share the love and hospitality that was "Joannie." She was a great friend, a wonderful mother and we were blessed to have her in our lives. Rest in peace Momma. Leonard Findley
Leonard L. Findley, 64, passed away Monday, July 29, 2002. He was born January 29, 1938 in Lamar, MO to Carl and Margaret Findley. Resided in Tulsa for 29 ½ years. Served his country in the U.S. Army from 1959-1965 and was in the Army National Guard seventeen years. Leonard was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Retired from Ramsey Winch in March, 1996. He was an avid Cardinal Baseball fan and a Jenks Trojan Football fan. Survived by his wife, Nancy of the home; two sons, Rick and wife, Shannon of Sperry, OK; Randy and wife, Cheryl of Tulsa, OK; five grandchildren, Azem, Ashley, Raelynn, Jacob & Peyton; a brother and sister, Allen Findley and Nellie Phipps, both of Lamar, MO; several other relatives and loving friends. H. K. (Herb)Felkel, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2002 in his 96th year. He was an ardent Oklahoman and for many years was the State Enrollment Manager for Blue Cross of Oklahoma. He was active in many civic organizations and a lifelong member of the First Methodist Church of Tulsa. He was preceded in death by Elizabeth Davisson Felkel; daughter, Patty Felkel Smith; son-in-law, Timothy Guzzle; as well as his second wife, Helen Downey Felkel. Survived by his daughter, Janis Felkel Guzzle Chapman; son-in-law, Gary Smith; four grandchildren, Jeff Guzzle, Ben Guzzle & wife, Wendy, Derek Smith and wife, Amanda; and Elizabeth Smith; one great-granddaughter, Hope Elizabeth Guzzle.
