Edgar Dale "Jack" Crawford
Services for Edgar Dale "Jack" Crawford, 64, Davis, will be held Thursday, Dec. 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Krien Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Finis Steelman officiating. Interment will be at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis under the direction of Krien Funeral Home.
Mrs. Crawford was born on February 13, 1936 to Edgar James Crawford and Alma Idella Broom in Davis. Mr. Crawford died Saturday Dec. 8, in South Havin, Miss.
In August of 1981 he married Peggy Priddy.
He grew up in the Sunshine Community and graduated from Davis High School. He attended Murray State College and Oklahoma University. Mr. Crawford built, owned and operated convenience stores over most of the state. He lived the last 15 years in McAlester, where he owned and operated "Quick Mart" convenience store.
He is survived by his wife Peggy, of the home, a daughter Jacki LeAnn Rogers, Davis; a son, James Dale Crawford, Sulphur; three step-children, Curt, Kent and Kim Priddy; two grandchildren, J.W. and Sarah Rogers; three sisters, Ruby Faye Vernon, California; Dorothy Brown and Ruth Pope, both of Davis, several step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Ernest Lee "Bob" Crawford.
Pallbearers will be John Constantites, Ron Marino, Terry Crenshaw, J.W. Rogers, Gabe Blankenship, Jacob Blankenship.
Honorary pallbearer will be Bill Priddy.

Kenneth Edward Runyan
Services for Kenneth Edward Runyan, 64, Vian, Okla., were held Monday, Dec. 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cowley-Krien Chapel with Bro. Eddie Malphrus officiating. Interment was at the Drake Cemetery under the direction of Cowley-Krien Funeral Home.
Mr. Runyan was born on September 21, 1937 at Buckhorn to Lenard Loren "Tot" Runyan and Jimmie Corbin. He died December 7, in Vian.
On October 1, 1955 he married Dorothy Malloy in Sulphur.
Mr. Runyan was born and raised in the Sulphur area. He lived and worked in Ada and Madill. He moved to Vian four years ago. Mr. Runyan raised and trained race horses. He also worked for Sequoyah County Commissioners as a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of the home; one son, Ronald Lee Runyan, of the home; two granddaughters, Reggi and Raelee, Ada; four great grandchildren, Donavan, Madison, Mackinzie and Cameron, Ada; five brothers, Pete and Jim "Worry" Runyan, Sulphur, John David Runyan , Madill, Buddy Runyan, Brighton Colo. and Bob Runyan, Kingston; three sisters, Lou Smith and Jo Thomison, Sulphur and Helen Orsborn, Quitman, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Darrell Keith Runyan, a brother, Charles Runyan, and a sister, Sue Telford.
Pallbearers were Pete Runyan, Jim "Worry" Runyan, Bob Runyan, John David Runyan, Buddy Runyan, Sammy Jones and Gary Billings.
Honorary pallbearers were Curtis Dilbeck, Lonnie Ozbirn, Joe Green, Charles, Larry and Kenneth Malloy, Terrel Billings, Mike McDowell, Ray Williams, Steve McAdoo, Steve McKinley, Joe Ramer, Parley Hubler and Randy Billings.

Stanley Hudson
Services for Stanley Hudson, 49, Sulphur, are pending at this time with Cowley-Krien Funeral Home.
Mr. Hudson was born on February 28, 1952 and died Monday, Dec. 10.

Letha Cleveland
Services for Letha Cleveland, 76, were held Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Brent Parsons officiating. Interment was at the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Cowley-Krien Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cleveland was born on March 18, 1925 in Mill Creek to Albert Howard and Flora Holder Howard. She died February 3 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.
On September 21, 1948 she married J.E. Cleveland in Gainsville, Texas.
Mrs. Cleveland moved to Sulphur in 1948. She devoted her time and life to her husband of 54 years and to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was know as "Granny" who had special pies, biscuits and gravy, pickles and fried chicken for each of her "Grands". They each expected their own special pies for their birthdays and other occasions. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and her good friends.
She is survived by her husband, J.E. Cleveland, of the home; one son, Dwight Cleveland and his wife, Beverly, Sulphur; three daughters, Mary Bolton and her husband, Jack, Coleman, Texas, Marilynn Cleveland, Miami, Okla.; Marla Winnared and her husband, Gerald, Ardmore; eight grandchildren, Lisa Smith, Micah Noland, Alison Noland Arms, Bronson Noland, Kristi Cleveland Snow, Kari Cleveland, Erik Cleveland, and Tyler Winnard; four great grandchildren, Jordan and Colton Smith, Bailee and Gunner Arms and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, James O'Brien Cleveland.
Pallbearers were Mark Colbert, John Colbert, Keith Mann, David Pitman, J.R. Norton and Jack Rife. Honorary bearers were Bill Oneal, Steve Cleveland and Greg Cleveland.

Euva Victoria Parks
Graveside services for Euva Victoria Parks, 89, were held Saturday, May 25 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating. Interment was at Iona Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Mrs. Parks was born Saturday, June 15, 1912 in Gamaila Ark. to John W. Parks and Minnie Stiener Parks. She died Wednesday, May 22 in Sulphur.
Mrs. Parks spent her early years in Arkansas and moved to the Iona community in 1935. She was a housewife.
Mrs. Parks is survived by her son, Tommy Joe Ruiall, Moreno Valley, Calif.; six grandsons, Floyd Junior Carroll, Larry C. Carroll, Bill Ruiall, Travis Ruiall, Bryan Ruiall, Steve Ruiall; 15 grandchildren; nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Junior Carroll, three brothers, Lonzo, Delmar and Leonard Parks, three sisters, Eunice Trivitt, Eva Norton and Ethel Lippman, a granddaughter Laquita Carroll.

Leasle Edwin "L.E." Bristol
Graveside services for Leasle Edwin "L.E." Bristol, Davis, 91, were held Friday, May 24 with Rev. Allen Richardson, officiating. Interment was at the Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
Mr. Bristol was born on April 14, 1911 in Brawley, Calf. to Gus Bristol and Emelia Wolf. He died May 22 in Sulphur.
On October 12, 1935 he married Mabel Sandefur in Purcell. She preceded him in death on March 3, 1989.
Mr. Bristol lived in Davis all of his life. He was a farmer and rancher.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Jo Benke, Wynnewood, Wava Scott, Davis; two sons, Edwin Bristol, Kingston, Roy Bristol, Davis; one brother, Cletus Bristol, Frisco, Texas, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Robert Frank Cody
Services for Robert Frank Cody, 80, will be held Thursday, May 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Emery Mason and Tim Moore officiating. Interment will be at the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Cowley - Krien Funeral Home.
Mr. Cody was born on November 22, 1921 in Okmulgee to Douglas F. Cody and Melina Wagnor. He died May 26 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
On June 6, 1957 he married Lenora Isabel Purnell in Ardmore.
Mr. Cody attended school at the Oklahoma School for the Deaf. After graduating from high school he worked in California in the war effort during World War II. He also attended schools in California. He and his family moved to Sulphur in 1971 where he worked at OSD and lived the remainder of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Lenora of the home; one son Robert Cody Jr. and his wife, Melanie McKay, Topeka, Kan.; two daughters, Sue Cole and her husband, Brooks, and Sally Beasley and her husband, Mark, all of Sulphur; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Varner, Lawson Pair, Brooks Cole, Mark Beasley, Matt Beasley, Zac Blackburn. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Billy Gregory, Gerald Bock, Benny Jason, Glenn Kub.

Faith Marie Stevenson
Graveside services for Faith Marie Stevenson were held Monday, May 27, at 10:00 with Pastor Jerry Lemley officiating. Interment was at the Jollyville Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
She was born May 15, 2002 in Sulphur and died Friday, May 24, 2002 in Oklahoma City.
She is survived by her mother, Jessica Stevenson, Sulphur; grandparents, Donny and Katherine Stevenson, Sulphur; great grandmothers, Ruby Stevenson, Hennepin and Minnie Allen, New Mexico; two aunts, Monica Fink, Oklahoma City and Juanita Stevenson, Sulphur; one uncle, Donny Stevenson, Sulphur; great uncle, Ricky Stevenson, Ardmore and three great aunts, Teresa Stevenson, Hennepin, Renee Phipps, Lone Grove and Telisa Stevenson, Ardmore.

Billy Joe Edwards, Sr.
Services for Billy Joe Edwards, 63, Dougherty, were held Wednesday, May 29, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Davis with Rev. Willard McCartney, Jr. and Rev. Randy Chapman officiating. Interment was at the Dougherty Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Mr. Edwards was born on Friday, Feb. 3, 1939 in Sulphur to Leonard Edwards and Juanita Montgomery Edwards. He died Saturday, May 25 in Ardmore.
On May 28, 1960 he married Lona Kay Saunders in Dougherty.
Mr. Edwards lived in Dougherty and graduated from Dougherty High School in 1958. He was a retired personnel supervisor of V.E. Enterprises and was a member of the Arbuckle Bass Club.
He is survived by his wife, Lona, of the home; one son, Billy Joe Edwards, Jr., Dougherty; his parents, Leonard and Juanita Edwards, Doughtery; one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Tammie Edwards, Davis; three grandsons, Jeff and Bradley Burleson and Andrew Edwards, all of Dougherty; one niece, Coree Edwards, Davis; special friends, Paul and Kathy Burleson, Dougherty and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Ryan "Chuck" Edwards, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Edwards, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ford Montgomery, one brother, Corkey Edwards, aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wyatt, and Mr. and Mrs. Buck Edwards.
Pallbearers were Butch Collins, Clint Shirtum, Edward Busby, Corkey Crabtree, Chad King and Mike Knight. Honorary pallbearers were Arbuckle Bass Club members and V.E. Employees of Ardmore.

Wilford J. Lewis
Services for Wilford J. Lewis, 77, Davis, will be held Thursday, May 30 at 2:00 p.m. at East Main Church of Christ of Davis with Thomas Thompson, Virgil Trout and Dwight Brown officiating. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
Mr. Lewis was born on October 31, 1924 at Okeemah to Johnie Lewis and Madge Lester. He died May 27 in Ardmore.
On October 18, 1947 he married Juanita Faye Henderson in Okeemah.
He graduated in 1943 from Pharoah High School. He served in the army during WWII and retired from Amoco Oil company in1984. He was an active member and teacher of the East Main Church of Christ where he served as an elder for 23 years. He was a member and past president of Davis Riders. He was also a member of Beefmaster Breeder Universal. He was an active member of the Murray County Cattlemen's Association where he served as director and board member. He was a former mayor of Davis and was active with Murray County Extension Service as pecan superintendent for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Nita Lewis, Davis; two daughters, Deborah Turner and her husband, Roy, Davis and Wilda Archer and her husband, Randy, Mountain Park; one sister, Alma Fredman, Shawnee; two grandchildren, Amy Sue Hill and her husband, Ward Will Archer, all of Mountain Park and three great grandchildren, Bryce, Maddie and Wyatt Hill.
Pallbearers will be David Cambell, Howard Hanni, Roy Province, Bob Davis, Dub Moore and Jim Pratt. Honorary pallbearers will be Homer Ratchford, Carl Ratchford, John Huggins, Stan Hefley, Richard Digby, Gene Willey, Bill Mumford.
