Thomas Paul Pine

Shawnee resident Thomas Paul Pine died Friday in Shawnee. He was 36.

Pine was born on June 4, 1963, in Port Angles, Wash., to Frank J. Pine Sr. and Louise N. (Bowers) Garrett.

He served with the U.S. Marine Corps and worked as a mechanic and crane operator.

Pine was a longtime resident of Shawnee.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank J. Pine Sr., and a brother, Frank J. Pine Jr.

Survivors include his son, Thomas Michael Pine, Shawnee; a daughter, Tammi Michelle Pine, Shawnee; his mother, Louise Garrett, Eufaula; a brother, James L. Pine, Tecumseh; four nephews, James F. Pine, Jacob L. Pine, John Michael Pine and Jeremiah A. Pine; two nieces, Jaime A. Pine and Nichole L. Pine; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Tecumseh Cemetery with Doyle Loveland officiating.

Services are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel in Shawnee.

Charles E. Lamirand

Maud resident Charles E. Lamirand died Sunday in Ada. He was 69.

Lamirand was born on Sept. 3, 1930, in Wanette, Okla., the son of Oscar and Lillie (Newell) Lamirand.

He attended school in Shawnee and served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.

He previously lived in Carizzo Springs, Texas, and worked for Tesora Oil Company.

Lamirand was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Lillie Newell; two brothers, Jack and Marvin Lamirand; and a sister, Carrie Lamirand.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Staley and Tony Staley, McLeansboro, Ill.; two sisters, Ruth Veitenheimer, Shawnee, and Betty Howell, Fort Worth, Texas; a brother, T.J. Lamirand, Shawnee; two granddaughters, McLeansboro, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel in Shawnee with the Rev. Mike Craig officiating.

Burial will be in Wanette Cemetery under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Harmon Bagley

Harmon Bagley of Harrah died Sunday at Midwest Regional Hospital. He was 72.

He was born May 27, 1927, in Ada to Fletcher and Nell Bagley. He was a truck driver for Lee Way and farmed.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Jackie Bagley, Harrah, Chris and Brenda Bagley, Harrah, and Randy Bagley, Oklahoma City; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Lois and Tommie Garrison, Amarillo, Texas, JoAnn and Jerry Willis, Marietta, Peggy and George Ezell, New Mexico, and Bobbie and Hoytt Busby, Amarillo, Texas; uncle, Reuben Hodges, Hot Springs, Ark.; aunt, Jewel Bagley, Oklahoma City; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

His parents and brother, Eugene Bagley, preceded him in death.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Asa Smith Funeral Chapel, Harrah. Burial will be at Erin Springs Cemetery in Erin Springs, Okla., under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah.

Francis S. Hogue

Francis S. Hogue died Saturday at her home in Tecumseh. She was 76.

Mrs. Hogue was born on Sept. 30, 1922, in Shawnee, to Abner and Mamie (Sexton) Edgeman.

She attended Mount Pleasant schools and married Johnnie L. Hogue on Sept. 24, 1945, in Tecumseh.

She was a member of the Baptist faith and lived in Tecumseh most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Hogue on Nov. 14, 1986; her parents, Abner and Mamie Edgeman; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie and Jana Hogue, Shawnee; her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and James Skelly, Shawnee; a sister and brother-in-law, Mandy and Warren Lovell, Collinsville, Okla.; a sister-in-law, Anna Edgeman, Tecumseh; grandchildren and their spouses, John, Jeremy and Brandon Hogue, all of Tecumseh, and Debbie and Trent Doyle, Kiowa, Okla., Tracey and Dean Poe, Shawnee, Cathey and Jake Scallorn and Brittney Collier, all of Tecumseh, Darrin Stephens, Seminole, and Jerrod and Tiffany Hill of Shawnee; three great-grandchildren, Clay Doyle, Kiowa, Katelyn Poe, Shawnee, and Carly Scallorn, Tecumseh; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel in Shawnee,with the Rev. Rob Ingram officiating.

Burial will be in Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel of Shawnee.

Herman E. King

Herman E. King died Friday in Stroud. He was 82.

He was born Oct. 8, 1916, in Blackwell, Okla., to Charles Henry and Martha LuVina (Gough) King.

He married F. Lois Taylor Oct. 9, 1934, in Tecumseh.

As a lifelong, self-employed businessman, he was active in all phases of early oil production, owning and operating his own drilling company in Farmington, N.M. He owned and operated motels in both New Mexico and Oklahoma and farmed and raised cattle on his small acreage in Prague.

He was the owner and operator of King's Auto Sales, with locations in Oklahoma City and Chandler.

He lived in Chandler for more than 25 of the last years. He was an active, longtime member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his wife Lois of the home; son, Gerald E. King, Oklahoma City; daughter and son-in-law, Mary L. and Bob G. Bean, Oklahoma City; daughter, Janice C. Holland, Chandler; grandson, Johnny Dean Kiker, Apache Junction, Ariz.; grandson and fiancee, Steve Wayne Kiker and Anita Klassen, Sacramento, Calif.; granddaughter and husband, Vicki Lynn and John Martin, Newcastle; two great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters; sister, Vella Bolz, Chandler; and many other relatives, friends and business associates.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Melvin C. King, California, George M. King, Odessa, Texas, and Clifford "Jess" King, Broken Arrow; and sister, Fern K. Jones, Chandler.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler with the Rev. Doyle Seeley officiating under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Chandler.

Nila Kay Musick

Shawnee resident Nila Kay (Kelly) Musick died Thursday at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was 58.

Mrs. Musick was born May 25, 1941, in Shawnee to Bill and Juanita (King) Kelly. She attended Seminole and Shawnee schools.

She had lived in Seminole, Shawnee and Oklahoma City for the past 10 years and was a computer specialist at Tinker Air Force Base. She was a former employee of Western Electric.

Survivors include her son, William Musick, Cheyenne, Wyo.; daughters, Robin Free and Melanie Musick, both of Oklahoma City; granddaughters, Chelsea Free, Oklahoma City; Shayla Williams, Blanchard; great-grandchildren, Nathan Williams and Weston Williams, both of Blanchard; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Doc and Floy King.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel with Doyle Loveland officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Steve Lewis Thompson

Shawnee resident Steve Lewis Thompson died Tuesday in Luzerne, Pa. He was 36.

Thompson was born April 28, 1963, in Pawnee to Truman M. and Rose Marie (Stephens) Thompson. He graduated from Dale High School in 1981 and was a truck driver. He was a member of Dale Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Rose Thompson; sisters, Sherry Thompson, Rosa Lee Day and Sharon Kay McGee; brother-in-law, Victor Lee O'Conner; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Truman Thompson; sister, Linda Thompson; and grandmother, Marie Wakale Ricketts.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Doug Parker officiating.
