Lori Ann Martin

Dallas, Texas, resident Lori Ann Martin died Monday in Dallas. She was 40.

Mrs. Martin was born June 27, 1959.

Survivors include her father, T.C. Martin; sons, Terry Brandon Martin, Taylor James Martin and Wesley Wilkerson; and brothers, Mark Martin, Terry Martin and Bennie Martin.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rozella Daniels.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Tecumseh Cemetery.

Lewis Longman

Lewis Longman of Newalla died Monday. He was 57.

He was born July 2, 1942, in Norman to Clayton and Ruby (Johnson) Longman. He attended school at Little Axe and attended Okmulgee Tech for three years, working in auto body repair.

He was reared in the Little Axe Community and worked for the city of Norman in auto body repair, until he retired in June, 1996.

He was a member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Surviving are his wife, Emily Longman of the home; a son, John Wayne Longman of the home; a daughter, Ann Longman Smith of Norman; three brothers, Thomas W. Spybuck, Dallas, Henry Longman Sr., Norman, and Clyde Longman of Newalla; a sister, Patricia Slate of Norman; a grandson, Kristopher Longman, Norman; a granddaughter, Cherokee Longman of Norman; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Tecumseh Cemetery with the Rev. Ellis Rolette and Johnny Mann officiating. The casket will not be opened at the cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.

Vivian Mae McMillon

Vivian Mae McMillon died Wednesday in Alexandria, Va. She was 85.

Mrs. McMillon was born June 13, 1914, in Dale, Okla., to Jesse Y. and Mae G. Hampton.

She married Bruce W. McMillon Dec. 19, 1936, in Fayetteville, Ark. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in December 1986.

She graduated from Dale High School, attended Oklahoma Baptist University and graduated from Central State University in 1957. She was a lifelong teacher and taught in Ray City, Dale and Shawnee Public Schools. She retired from Acme School in 1976.

She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Retired Teachers Association. She was active in her church, the First Baptist Church of McLoud, serving as the pianist and organist for many years. Until her illness last year, she continued her church service, singing in the choir of Potomac Crest Baptist Church, Lake Ridge, Va.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Carolyn McMillon, McLoud; daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Jack Darby, Dale City, Va., and Janelle and Joe Lucy, McLoud; grandchildren, Melody Dayton Hackney, Washington, Va., Joey Lucy, Oklahoma City, Jacki Gordon, Midlothian, Va., Jana Lucy, McLoud, Talli Coursey, Shawnee Mission, Kan., Jill Ray, Oklahoma City, and Jonna Darby, Washington, Va.; nine great-grandchildren; and one aunt Lottie L. Miller, Marietta, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandson, Timmie McMillon.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, McLoud, with the Rev. Larry D. Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Georgia Siler

Macomb resident Georgia Siler died Friday in Oklahoma City. She was 70.

Mrs. Siler was born Nov. 11, 1928, in Moore, Okla., to Ed and Clara (Schroeder) Wellman. She married Guy Siler in Gainesville, Texas, on Jan. 4, 1957.

She was reared in Moore and also lived in Oklahoma City where she and her husband owned and operated Siler Dairy and Siler Dairy Store. In 1961 they moved to Macomb where they continued to operate Siler Dairy.

She was a homemaker and member of Associated Milk Producers Incorporated. She also was active in Home Extension.

Survivors include her husband, Guy Siler of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Frank "Butch" Bourlon, Macomb; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Ruby Rath and Bill and Barbara Siler, all of Macomb; sisters, Dorothy Smart, Shawnee; Carolyn Childers, Conroe, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Gerona and Howard Fowler, Shawnee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Claudia Wellman and Bert and Joyce Wellman, all of Bethel; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Mixon officiating. Burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery.

Alfred Paul Madison

Alfred Paul "A.P." Madison of Seminole died Friday at Seminole Regional Hospital. He was 80.

He was born Oct. 14, 1918, in Stillwater to Samuel and Ruby Madison.

He moved to the Seminole area 25 years ago from Stillwater. He was a construction worker who retired in 1983. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Madison also was affiliated with the Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jack and Gene Madison; one half-brother, Richard Bear; two sisters, Alma Sorson and Helen Long; and one daughter, Patricia Gail Madison on March 27, 1999.

Survivors include his companion of the last 10 years, Alice Marie Miner of the home; daughter, Sue Davis, Cushing; his companion's children, Ricky and Ann Sullivan, Durant, and Sonja and Mike Stone, Seminole; and grandchildren, Craig Bales, Pennsylvania, and Chris Davis, Stillwater.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Little Cemetery, Seminole County, with the Rev. Doyle Long and the Rev. Harold Turner officiating under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Joyce Marie Judy

Shawnee resident Joyce Marie Judy died Friday at a local hospital. She was 66.

She was born June 19, 1933, in Shawnee to Elbert "Sandy" and Christine Pearl (Adamson) Sandefur.

She married Milton Judy in 1958 in Tecumseh.

She attended schools in Tecumseh and worked at the City Cafe for many years. Mrs. Judy lived in Tecumseh and Shawnee all her life.

Survivors include her husband, Milton Judy of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Loretta and Jesse Wilson, Stratford; son, Ralph Porter, Tecumseh; grandsons, Milton Winkelmon of the home, and Chris Morelan, Shawnee; granddaughters, Kristy Phelps, Oklahoma City, and Trista Jones, Stratford; one great-granddaughterMeckenzie Phelps, Oklahoma City; and half-sisters, Sandra Shumard and Sharon "Sis" Sherrell, both of Ada.

She was preceded in death by her parents and oldest daughter, Brenda Morelan.

Gravesides services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Tecumseh Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Bates officiating under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Francis J. Layman

Shawnee resident Francis J. Layman died Thursday in Shawnee. He was 82.

Layman was born Oct. 9, 1916, in Shelby County, Ohio, to Louis Augustus and Emma Philomenia (Bulcher) Layman. He married Goldie Degraw in May of 1964.

He had lived in Oklahoma for the past 15 years and was an auto mechanic. He was raised in Shelby County, Ohio.

Survivors include his wife, Goldie Layman; two sons, Gary Layman, Jackson Center, Ohio, and Richard Layman, Sydney, Ohio; daughter, Julie Hartman, Fla.; sister, Alma Herriman, St. Helen, Mich.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rose and James Swiger, Sydney, Ohio, Faye and Harley Jones, Salina, Ohio, and Ruth and Gerald Malueg, Wapakoneta, Ohio; brothers, James Layman, Sydney, Ohio, and Virgil Layman, Bradford, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Layman and Lawrence Layman; and two sisters, Barbara Fahnestock and Mary Holman.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Little Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Chapel with Rusty Dawson officiating.

Esther Margaret Peeler

Esther Margaret Peeler died Friday in Norman. She was 96.

She was born Sept. 3, 1902, in Rogers, Ark.

She lived in Meeker for many years before moving to Norman. She was married to Edd Roy Peeler, who preceded her in death in 1979. She was a housewife.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, three sons, and two brothers.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Patsy Peeler of Newalla; Roy Leon and Evelyn Peeler of Norman; daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Bill Testerman of Norman; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Claude Marion Peeler officiating. Burial will follow Pickett-Sunnyside Cemetery, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Chandler.
