Dolly V. Moisant

Dolly V. Moisant died Wednesday in Stroud. She was 75.

Mrs. Moisant was born July 27, 1925, in Dale to Charles and Lydia (Huffman) Hildreth. She married John Moisant July 10, 1980, in Stroud.

She lived most of her life in Stroud, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her brother, Shirley Hildreth, Prague; sister, Verda Peters, Stroud; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, July 11, 1990, her parents, three brothers and four sisters.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Stroud with the Rev. Burl Mackey officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Stroud.

Venita Danker

Venita Danker died Tuesday in Ardmore. She was 77.

Mrs. Danker was born Feb. 8, 1923, near Wellston to Tom and Fannie (Crumpton) Brown. She married Earl Danker Nov. 15, 1941, in Littlefield, Texas.

She was a homemaker and long-time resident of Lone Grove. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Danker, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, George Ray and Sheral Danker, Tulsa; Alvin and Jane Danker, Wellston; five daughters and sons-in-law, Earlene and James Cronin, Stroud; Martha and Ben Weant, Braggs; Lola and Steve Navrath, Prague; Marcella and Carroll Don Evans, Lone Grove; Regina Lou Billingsley, Lone Grove; brother, Lonzo Brown, Muskogee; two sisters, Dorthey Mullendore, Wellston; Janetta Bacon, Checotah; 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, four brothers and one sister.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Chandler, with the Rev. J.D. Valis officiating. Burial will follow in the Star Valley Cemetery, Chandler.

Wera Lewis

Tecumseh resident Wera Lewis died Wednesday in Tecumseh. She was 95. Services are pending with Cooper Funeral Home.

Charles Wayne Tennison

Charles Wayne Tennison died Wednesday at a Lawton hospital. He was 75.

Tennison was born Aug. 30, 1924, in Wellington, Kan., to William Harlen Fred and Dorothea Lawanna (Ray) Tennison. He married Mamie Margrete Shackelford on April 20, 1948, in Fort Smith, Ark. She preceded him in death on Jan. 5, 1994.

He was a World War II veteran and served in the 82nd Naval Construction Battalion and was awarded the American and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medals, the World War II Victory Medal and four Bronze Stars.

Tennison retired from truck driving in 1989. He moved to Harrah in 1980, and lived the past year and a half in Altus.

Survivors include his daughters, Margaret Charlene Davis, Altus; Mary Catherine and her husband, Leroy Smith, Harrah; son, Floyd Wayne Jim Tennison, Oceanside, Calif.; brother, William Ray Tennison and his wife, Shirley, Meza, Ariz.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty June and Scott Holtman, Kearns, Utah; Barbara Faye and William Ruffner, California; brother-in-law and wife, John M. and Donna Kay Shackelford, Muskogee; sisters-in-law and their husbands, Blanche and John Ashwood and Dorothy and Bob Balasan, Muskogee; Geraldine Shackelford, Fort Gibson; and grandchildren, Michael C. Green, Altus; Christopher J. and Christen J. Tennison, Oceanside; Rachel M. and John C. Smith, Harrah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter, Gladys Lawanna; a son, Patrick Wayne; and brothers, Wallace Lee, Gene and David Leonard.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Asa Smith Funeral Home, Harrah. Burial will be in Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Southside Baptist Church in Altus.

Joy McGinnis

Joy McGinnis died Tuesday in Chandler. She was 69.

She was born on Dec. 3, 1930, to Mattison and Ruby Jane (Snow) Kittley. She was a graduate of Gordon Cooper nursing school and lived in Chandler for more than 20 years. In 1978 she married Lester McGinnis and worked as a licensed practical nurse for many years. She also worked as an emergency medical technician for more than 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Lorrie and Scott Mackenzie of Sparta, N.J., Lisa Troxell of Shawnee, two sisters, Linda Davis of Eufaula and Matalie "Dee" Lansdale, two brothers, Claude Kittley and Larry Kittley, both of Oklahoma City; and four grandchildren, Amanda Campbell, Michael Campbell, Ross Mackenzie and Katie Mackenzie.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Chandler. The Rev. Tom Holland will officiate under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Shawna Bruce

Shawna Bruce died Wednesday in Oklahoma City. The 27-year-old was a resident of Meeker.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Horton Chapel Nazarene Church. Arrangements are with Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.

Willard Dale Brumley

Willard Dale Brumley of Seminole died Monday at his home in Seminole. He was 73.

He was born July 8, 1927, in Cromwell. He was the son of Marion B. Brumley and Orpha Myrtle (Love) Brumley.

He was a lifelong Seminole County resident. He married Darlene Anderson Brumley July 24, 1986, in Okemah.

Brumley retired in 1989. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nadine Steele.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Anderson Brumley of the home; six sons, Kenneth Brumley of Sapulpa; Gary Brumley of Chespeake, Va.; Curtis Brumley of Seminole; Roy Griffin of Holdenville; Gary Griffin of Seminole; Kevin Griffin of Seminole; one daughter, Nina Hallmark of Seminole; a brother, Adrian Brumley of Judsonia, Ark.; one sister, June Little of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Cemetery in Okemah with the Rev. Lee Estep officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.

Leroy Love

Leroy Love died Monday in Sulphur. He was 73.

He was born Feb. 13, 1927, in Meeker. He was the son of Roy and Agnes (Eggleston) Love.

He had been a resident of the Meeker area most of his life. Love worked in shipping for U.E.C. Company.

During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy Seabees. He married Margaret Russell Oct. 11, 1984.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.

Survivors include one daughter, Debi Patterson, Houston, Texas; seven stepchildren and their families, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Pickett-Sunnyside Cemetery near Meeker with the Rev. Kevin Russell officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Chandler.

J.W. Frizell

J.W. Frizell died July 26 in Tulsa. He was 71.

He was born on April 29, 1929, and lived in Shawnee until 1943. He then moved to Tulare, Calif., where he lived until 1995. He was a retired truck driver and heavy equipment operator.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include four sisters: Willie Brown of Tulare, Calif., Goldie Thompson of San Jose, Calif., Hilda Hoolery of Fort Smith, Ark., and Mildred Bristow of Shawnee. He also is survived by special friend Mary Gilliland of Tulsa.

Private services will be held in Tulare, Calif.

Jamie Inman

Jamie Inman of Tecumseh died Monday in Shawnee. She was 36.

She was born July 28, 1964, in Syracuse, N.Y. She was the daughter of James and Dorothy (Morgan) McMahon.

She lived in Tulsa for several years before moving to the Shawnee/Tecumseh area two years ago. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include daughter, Christina Ann Inman of Syracuse, N.Y.; father, James McMahon of Pennellville, N.Y.; two sisters, Faith "Fay" Pirano of Syracuse, N.Y.; Sue Funk of Liverpool, N.Y.; two brothers, James McMahon Jr. of Syracuse, N.Y.; Michael McMahon of Scriba, N.Y.

Services will be in Syracuse, N.Y., with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Syracuse, N.Y. Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh.

Jacquard Dominique Harrison

Jacquard Dominique Harrison of Shawnee died Sunday in Shawnee. He was 20 days old.

He was born July 10, 2000, in Oklahoma City. He was the son of Quinquita Kena Harrison and Arthur Lee Clardy Jr.

Survivors include his mother, Quinquita Harrison, Shawnee; his father, Arthur Lee Clardy Jr., Texas; two sisters, Shaunte Elise Harrison and Shaunterra Corrin Harrison, Shawnee; grandmothers Dale Gray and Faye Clardy, Texas; grandfathers, Eric Gray of New Jersey and Arthur Clardy Sr., Texas; uncle and aunt, Jamarlon and Takera Clardy, Texas; cousin, Jamarlon Clardy Jr. and a host of friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Church with the Rev. Larry Norris officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park, under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
