McLoud resident Maggie Mae Cyree, 65, died Monday, Oct. 1.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Sunny Lane Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home SE, Del City.

Claudia (Clark) Harvey

Tecumseh resident Claudia (Clark) Harvey passed away, Monday, Oct. 1, in a Shawnee hospital.

She was born May 19, 1920, in the Maud-Konawa area, to Henry Clark and Francis Whit Clark.

She moved to California in her early years and worked in the Ship Yards.

She met and married her "Okie" Sammuel Harvey and moved to Lake Texoma at Cumberland Cove, where she and Sam spend many years fishing and boating.

Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, Lucille Poole, Velma Pat Rushton and Irene Bishop; one brother, Gene Clark.

She is survived by two step-children, Jerri Wilson of Burney, Calif., and Leon Hervey of Little Egg Harbor, N.J; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. today at the Watts Funeral Home, Madill.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Cumberland Cemetery with James Wigington officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Madill.

Ernie Haney

Shawnee resident Ernie Haney, 62, formerly of the Seminole area, passed away Wednesday Oct. 3, in Shawnee.

He was born May 28, 1945, in Little to Willie and Winey (Johnson) Haney.

He graduated from Jenks High School, attended OSU-Tech Okmulgee and graduated Seminole Junior College.

He was married to the love of his life, Carol (Ellis) for 32 years.

Ernie worked as a draftsman and in graphic design. He was an artist and graphic designer, enjoyed listening to music and taking care of his family and was an Avid OU fan!!

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include wife, Carol; sons, Tracy Haney and wife, Paula, Stacy Haney and Mary Soap, Vincent Haney and wife, Deanne, Eric Haney and wife, Redena, Brian Lowe and Victor Lowe; daughter, Tammy Winter and husband, Warren; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Amelia Deer; brother, Jerry Haney and wife, Barbara; and many other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be at the funeral home 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today to greet friends and family.

Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Victor Cope officiating. Burial will be at Johnson Cemetery.

Lucille Hinds Darr

Longtime Seminole resident Lucille Hinds Darr, 87, died Thursday, Oct. 4, at Seminole Estates Care Center.

Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Historic Strothers Chapel, Seminole, with the Rev. Allen Wood officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Seminole.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. today; 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday; noon until 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. until service Monday.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Wanada Lucienne (Wakole) Loneman

Shawnee resident Wanada Lucienne (Wakole) Loneman, 77, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, in Shawnee.

Service is pending under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.

Jim Alan Chilcote

Former Seminole resident Jim Alan Chilcote, 54, died Thursday, July 12, in Guthrie.

Private family service is pending under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Robert L. "Bob" Kennedy

Cromwell resident Robert Lee "Bob" Kennedy, 61, passed from this life Saturday, Sept. 9, at his home.

He was born Sept. 11, 1944, to Leonard and Hazel Marie (Odom) Kennedy.

His work took him to various places in Oklahoma, Texas and, for a time, the oil fields of Saudi Arabia. He retired from Duke Energy in 2000 and ran B & J Dump Truck Service until November 2005.

Bob was never at a loss for things to do and he chose to surround himself with family and friends. He was respected and well-loved by all who had the pleasure to know him.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Peggy Hodges.

Survivors include his wife, Janita (Taber) Kennedy, of the home; son, Rick Kennedy and wife, Jeanette, and their children, Randall Lee and Amy Marie Kennedy; daughter, Cheryl Keesee and husband, Kevin, and their son, Robert Gage Keese, all of Cromwell.

When he and Janita married, he made a point to include her family as his own. These include Robert and Rhonda Moneypenny and their children, Chelsea Jolley of Runaway Bay, Texas, and Lance Jolley of Ada; Russell and Robin Moneypenny and sons, Zane and Riley, of Owasso; Randy and Jan Moneypenny and sons, Reese and Andrew, of Sauk Rapids, Minn.

Also surviving Bob are his brother, Sam Williamson, and wife, Lois, of Henryetta; two sisters, Ann Williams and her husband, Burt, of Manford, and Helen Tate of Seminole; one brother-in-law, Virgil Hodges of St. Petersburg, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews who know they have always held a special place in his heart; and a host of other family and friends.

Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Okemah, with the Rev. Dennis Yeubanks officiating.

Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Okemah.

Serving as pallbearers are Tommy Factor, Pat Curry, Jack Schultz, Bobby Whisnant and Jeff Sjoberg.

Honorary bearers include Kenneth Edgemon, Doyle Cook, Leonard Sjoberg, Richard Robinson, Lloyd Sanders, Damon Sanders, Terry Sanders, Johnny Manos, Paul Bourque, Bernie Allensworth, Bruce Finney and Tommy Bogus.

Edith Vera Krausse

Shawnee resident Edith Vera Krausse, 91, died Tuesday at a local hospital.

She was born Oct. 29, 1910, in Maramec, Okla., to James Hardy Ellis and Emma May (Hamilton) Ellis. She attended Oklahoma State University and was a homemaker.

She married Otto T. Krausse Sept. 14, 1934, in Ada.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church since March 9, 1952, as well as a member of M.O.S.T. United Methodist Women, the Fidelis Sunday school class and the 3E Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include two daughters, Dona K. Moore and Wanda Barnett, both of Shawnee; three grandchildren, Andrea Brown, Marcie Hardaway and Jeffrey Moore; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rockford A. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Meleah Hepsey Mack

Meleah Hepsey Mack, 21, of Cromwell, Okla., died Monday in Oklahoma City.

She is survived by her mother, Alice Deere Mack, Cromwell; father, Dewayne Mack, Shawnee; four brothers and sisters-in-law, T.J. and Chris Mack, Henryetta, Kevin and Ella Mack of Wewoka, Felix and Leann Mack of Henryetta and Darrin and Lela Mack of Seminole; one sister, Josie Mack of the home; her grandmother, Geneva Creek Wilson, Shawnee; five uncles; three aunts; one niece and five nephews.

A wake service was held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home and funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the home with the Rev. Houston Tiger and Richard Fixico officiating.

Burial will be at the Mack-Bell family cemeteryunder the direction of Stout Funeral Home.

Sterling Lee Waldron Jr.

Manakotak, Alaska, resident Sterling Lee Waldron Jr., 44, died March 20 in Anchorage, Alaska.

He was born Nov. 2, 1957, in Tulsa to Sterling and Ellen (Skip) Waldron.

Waldron attended school in Tulsa and entered the Peace Corps.

After leaving the Peace Corps, he moved to Washington, where he married Lisa Vandygriff. He was employed as a pipeline X-ray technician.

He then moved to Hawaii, where he operated a bookstore and later traveled to Alaska as a commercial fisherman.

Waldron remained in Alaska, where he married Mary Ann John and became an accomplished carver. His pieces earned him many awards and are on display in many Alaska businesses.

He also was a drug and alcohol counselor in the village of Manakotak, a fishing village where he was voted the captain of the first walrus hunt.

Waldron was a member of the Church of Christ of Tecumseh.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sterling Lee Waldron.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Waldron of the home; daughter, Mary Jo Waldron of the home; son, Austin Waldron of the home; stepdaughter, Vanessa John Waldron of the home; stepsons, Morgan and Bruce John, both of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Emily and Alin Kitchens and Rachel and Shawn Miller, all of Washington; grandsons, Jordan Waldron and Aliki Kitchens, both of Washington; granddaughter, Iris Miller, of Washington; mother, Ellen (Skip) Blalock of Shawnee; sister, Sandy Morris of Hinton; three nieces; two great-nieces; and numerous other relatives and friends.

James E. Orrell

James E. Orrell, 57, Seminole, died Wednesday at a Seminole hospital.

Surviving are his sons, James Orrell, Seminole, Brian Orrell of Hot Springs, Ark.; daughters Sherri Cruz, Hot Springs, Ark., Lisa Mejia, Hot Springs, Ark., and Melinda Diaz, Danville, Ark.; and stepdaughter Oliva Webster of Seminole; sister Dora Lee Hughes of Pine Bluff, Ark.; and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Harvey Road Baptist Church, Seminole, with the Rev. Robert Hightower officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
