Ervin W. White died Thursday at a Tulsa hospital. The Prague resident was 78.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Other information is pending with Resthaven Funeral Home.

Jannie Marie (Johnson) Pope

Jannie Marie "Jeanne" (Johnson) Pope, 67, Macomb, died Thursday in Macomb.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Chapel, Tecumseh. Burial will be at Mars Hill Cemetery. Other information is pending.

Lorene McMillon

Lorene McMillon, 83, Harrah, died Tuesday in Harrah.

She was born July 29, 1918, in Panama, Okla., to James A. and Emmer (Vandergriff) Manley.

She lived in Ada most of her life, moving to Harrah five years ago.

Her husband, Luther McMillon, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Edna Armstrong of Harrah, 10 nieces, four nephews and a number of other relatives.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Konawa Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Sparks will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Robert Bruce Wilkerson

Lifelong Seminole resident Robert Bruce Wilkerson died Friday at his home. He was 55.

Wilkerson was born on Aug. 9, 1944, in Bowden, Okla., to James Wesley and Flossie Mae (Miller) Wilkerson.

He married Linda Maurine Hendricks on July 5, 1967, in Seminole.

He served with the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army National Guard.

Wilkerson was a retired laborer and a member of First Assembly of God in Seminole.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Flossie Wilkerson; three brothers; a sister; and a grandson.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Wilkerson of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Billy Davis, Seminole; a brother, Tommy Wilkerson, Shawnee; sister, Nancy Quinality, Seminole; and two grandchildren, T.S. and Dannill Harrington.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God in Seminole with the Rev. Doyle Long and the Rev. David Long officiating.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.

Lynn Jenkins

Lynn Jenkins, Earlsboro, died Friday at his home. He was 66.

Jenkins was born on Sept. 19, 1933, in Earlsboro, the son of Hubert Bruce and Ollie Jo (Williams) Jenkins.

He attended Earlsboro High School.

He was a retired government service worker and had recently worked at Homeland.

Jenkins was a veteran and a member of the Earlsboro Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ollie Jo Jenkins.

Survivors include his daughter and a son-in-law, Tina and David Roe, Fort Worth, Texas; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lynmarc and Suzanne Jenkins, Madera, Calif., and Jon Eric Jenkins, Houston, Texas; his father, Bruce Jenkins, Earlsboro; a sister, Joy Mize, Earlsboro; two brothers, Duane Jenkins, Auberry, Calif., and H.B. Jenkins, Earlsboro; five grandchildren, Brian, Janalyn, Dayna Roe, Hailey and Danielle Jenkins; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel with Dennis Parmer and Steve Kelly officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.

Julie Korhuniak

Shawnee resident Julie "K.K." Korhuniak died Sunday at her home. She was 73.

Mrs. Korhuniak was born on Aug. 6, 1926, in Harrah to Joe and Annie Lutomski.

She was a graduate of State Center High School.

She married Johnnie Korhuniak on Nov. 26, 1947, in Harrah.

She worked at Rose (Independence) Manor for 10 years and was a homemaker. Mrs. Korhuniak previously lived in Jones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Korhuniak in 1980; her parents, Joe and Annie Lutomski; and two sisters, Martha Lutomski and Mary Drew.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Ronald Johnson, Shawnee, and Cathey and Gary Rogers, Ada; a sister, Rosie Skropka, Harrah; brother, Albert Lutomski, Harrah; and five grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Yokosuka NAS, Japan, Melissa Johnson, Shawnee, Leslie Johnson, Shawnee, Shannon Rogers, Kansas City, Mo., and Megan Rogers, Ada.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel in Shawnee with Rev. Lawrence Stasyszen, O.S.B., officiating. Burial will be in St. Teresah Cemetery in Harrah under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Clydeena Ray Mellinger

Clydeena Ray Mellinger died Monday at her home in Sparks. She was 52.

She was born April 12, 1947, in Chandler.

She lived in Lincoln County most of her life. She married Skip Capshel in 1988, and they made their home in Sparks.

She attended the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Skip Capshel of the home; brothers, James Simpson, Chandler, and William Simpson, Wellston; sisters, Glaudia Anderson, Oklahoma City, Ellen Jean Grace, Sparks, Mildred Coppola, Davenport, and Betty Hood, Davenport; and stepmother, Viola Stidem, Davenport.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Sparks with the Rev. Paul Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in White Dove Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Chandler.

Robert Carpenter

Robert "Pete" Carpenter died Tuesday in Shawnee. He was 76.

He was born March 11, 1923, in Welty, Okla., to Sam William and Lilly (Lacquement) Carpenter. He was a resident of the Prague area and a rancher.

He married Ruby Eaton July 6, 1945, in Okemah.

He retired from Tinker Air Force Base in March 1976 after 20 years of civil service. He served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during World War II.

He was baptized at age 17 and was a member of the Church of God.

Carpenter was preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Carpenter of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Marchita Carpenter, Prague; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Rick Reagan, Prague; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Ruby Carpenter, Shawnee, and Calvin and Velena Carpenter, Cromwell; sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Tony Ellison, Prague; sisters-in-law, Lilly Carpenter, Okemah, and Myrtle Carpenter, Prague; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Prague with Idus England officiating and Palmer Smith assisting. Burial will follow in the Prague Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.

Phillip Ryan Pennington

Phillip Ryan Pennington, Seminole, died Monday at his home. He was 18.

Pennington was born on Oct. 16, 1980, in Shawnee, the son of Phillip W. and Linda Gail (Lane) Pennington.

He was a 1999 graduate of Varnum High School and worked at Western Sizzlin'.

He was a lifelong Seminole resident.

Survivors include his parents, Phillip and Linda Pennington of the home; a sister and brother-in-law, Marva and Joe Clower, Seminole; grandmother, Ernestine Lane, Seminole; two aunts and uncles, Rick and Suzette Pennington, Duncan, and Jack and Paula Lane, Seminole; a niece, Dawn Clower, Seminole; cousins, Lori and Chris Madrid, Austin, Texas, Tina Lane, Richardson, Texas, and Chris and Bryan Goostree, Seminole; and special friend Cassee Henson, Seminole.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.

Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.

Elinor Dollins

Elinor "Ellie" Dollins, Oklahoma City, died Sunday at her home. She was 73.

Mrs. Dollins was born on Dec. 17, 1925, in Olustee, Okla., the daughter of Bill and Zelma Tucker.

She married O'Brien Dollins on Aug. 5, 1950, in Altus, Okla.

She was a licensed practical nurse and worked at Shawnee Regional Hospital and Clinic.

Mrs. Dollins was a member of First Baptist Church of Shawnee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, O'Brien Dollins on April 11, 1984.

Survivors include her son, Michael Dollins, Oklahoma City; a daughter and son-in-law, Jannette and Paul Chaney, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren, Robby and Shari Austin, Moore, Brady and Frank Price, Colorado Springs, Colo., Amber Austin, Oklahoma City, Alexis Dollins, Oklahoma City, and Tyler Dollins, Oklahoma City; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Phil Thompson officiating.

Services are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel in Shawnee.

Alva Boyd Casey

Seminole resident Alva Boyd Casey died Wednesday in Oklahoma City. He was 86.

Casey was born June 12, 1912, in Yellville, Ark., to Jasper Boyd and Florence Marie (Reed) Casey.

He married Georgia Ann Helfer in May of 1954. She preceded him in death in 1996.

He moved to Okmulgee at a young age but lived most of his life in Seminole. He operated a radiator business in Okmulgee, Seminole and Shawnee and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include his sons, Charles Casey, McLeod, Texas, and Wayman Casey, Moore, S.C.; daughter, Joyce Wood, Shawnee; sister, Theone Greenhaw, Okmulgee; brothers, Clifford Casey, Okmulgee, and Arlie Casey, Tulsa; six grandchildren, Nicole Wood, Jason Casey, Trevor Casey, Brian Casey, Katie Casey and Brad Casey; one great-grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Alfred Casey and Vernon Casey; a sister, Eunice Claiborne; and two brothers, Lester Casey and Conrad Casey.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Little Cemetery in Seminole with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Chapel.
