Ricky Neal Blanchard
Ricky Neal Blanchard, 38, Shawnee, died Monday at an Oklahoma City hospital.

He was born Nov. 21, 1964, in Norman to Clifton Gene Blanchard and Freida Marie (Grant) Wise.

He worked as a framing carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Blanchard Lasley.

Survivors include his father, Clifton Gene Blanchard, Shawnee; mother, Freida Marie Wise, Shawnee; son, Scott Aaron Blanchard, Shawnee; daughter, Krystal Blanchard Logan, Shawnee; four brothers, and three sisters-in-law, Clifford and Jimmie Blanchard, Shawnee, Alden Blanchard, Norman, Eddie and Lucinda Blanchard, Shawnee, and Larry and Lisa Blanchard, Shawnee; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Carol Blanchard Byers and Shannon Byers, Shawnee, and Juliette Blanchard, Meeker; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wakolee Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Wilson officiating.

Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.

Beulah May Montgomery
Beulah May Montgomery, 87, Tecumseh, died Sunday in Tecumseh.

She attended elementary school in Lone Elm, Ark., and then attended high school at Harjo.

She was reared in Lone Elm and Harjo. She had resided in Pottawatomie County since her marriage.

She married Robert Montgomery on Dec. 4, 1931, in Maud.

She was a homemaker and she and her husband farmed west of Tecumseh for 12 years.

She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Tecumseh, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and choir member.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 4, 1983; grandsons, Jimmy McCabe and Brian Boren; great-grandson, Keith Bunts; sons-in-law, Gerald Meador and Jerry McCabe; and brothers, Paul Bourland and George Bourland.

Survivors include eight daughters and five sons-in-law, Barbara Meador, Norman; Marilyn and H.J. Linduff, Hurst, Texas; Glenda McCabe, Ephrata, Wash.; Vera and Allen Martin, Oklahoma City; Ruth Boren, Rockwall, Texas; Karen and Jimmie Grundy, Oklahoma City; Doris and Ronnie Brockett, Ada; and Debra and Mark Spruill, Chandler; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Debbie Montgomery, Sherman, Texas, and Robert and Brenda Montgomery, Tecumseh; sister, Anna Beth Casey, Tulsa; 29 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Free Will Baptist Church, Tecumseh, with the Rev. Kenny Myers officiating.

Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh.

Eulah White
Eulah White, formerly of Davenport, died Sunday in Fort Worth, Texas.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Nazarene, Davenport.

Further information is pending with Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Stroud.

Joshua Andrew Arnold
Joshua Andrew "Tre" Arnold, 5, of Tecumseh, died Monday in Oklahoma City.

Arrangements are pending and will be announced by Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh.

Boniface W. Carico
Boniface W. "Bon" Carico, 78, McLoud, died Saturday at an Oklahoma City hospital.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McLoud Church of Christ with Wayne Price officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.

Walker Funeral Service will have further announcements.

Flora Latshaw
Flora Latshaw, 83, Luther, died Thursday at her daughterıs home in Shawnee.

Surviving are her brother, Filadelphio Trujillo and wife Marcalina of Cottonwood, Calif.; children, Betty Wright, Leona Bradford, Patricia Hatcher, James Alford, Monte Latshaw and John Latshaw; long-time companion, Gene Terry; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Services were held Monday under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home.

Mildred Marie Dunagan
Mildred Marie Dunagan, 77, McLoud died Saturday at a McLoud care center.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph and Janice Dunagan, Seminole, Danny and Patty Dunagan, McLoud, and Earl and Sherri Dunagan, Lake Jackson, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Fred Kyker, Kountz, Texas; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Jones officiating.

Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

LeRoy Carl Trammell
Shawnee resident LeRoy Carl Trammell, 76, died Wednesday, Aug. 11 in Oklahoma City.

He was born Oct. 8, 1927, in Mill Creek to Luther and Myrtle (Keeton) Trammell.

He worked at Shawnee Mills until retiring after 33 years of service. He and his wife owned and operated L&L Donuts.

He attended the First Assembly of God in Tecumseh.

Trammell served with the U.S. Air Force.

Trammell married Leota L. Mehagan in Oklahoma City on June 13, 1950. She preceded him in death Sept. 20, 2002.

He also was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; two sisters; and a great-grandson.

Survivors include a daughter, Lucretia Trammell of Shawnee; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lonnie and Betty Trammell of Tecumseh and Lyndon and Colleen Trammell of Shawnee; four sisters, Lavon Wells and Mildred York, both of Midwest City, Blanche Payne of Jefferson City, Ind., and Frances Williams of Nine Mile Falls, Wash.; two brothers, Dennis Trammell of Tecumseh and Herbert Trammell of Mead; granddaughters and spouses, Treva and Daniel Lichty of Tecumseh, Ellen and Michael Hogue of Tecumseh, Kaelee Trammell and April Guy, both of Shawnee; and five great-grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Assembly of God in Tecumseh with the Rev. Chad Brodrick and the Rev. Robert Rider officiating. Burial will be at Tecumseh Cemetery.

Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh is directing arrangements.

Gilmer Bradley Bowen
Longtime Meeker resident Gilmer Bradley Bowen, 77, died Friday, Aug. 13, in Meeker.

He was born Sept. 12, 1926, to William Henry and Nina Zelma Bowen in Duffield, Va. He married Nola Learlene Wilkerson on July 4, 1948, in Meeker. She preceded him in death Oct. 14, 1984.

Bowen was a veteran of World War II and retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 1981 after working there for more than 35 years.

He also was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two grandsons, Huck Bowen and Shannon Crownover.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Jimmie Bowen of Chandler; three daughters and two son-in-laws, Donna and Gene Gilbreth of Meeker, Janie and Jay Phillips of Catoosa and Brenda Crownover of Meeker; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl and Billie Fay Bowen of Seminole and Tommy and Bobbie Bowen of Meeker; a sister, Alberta Funk of Washington; six grandchildren, Donnie Gilbreth, Dusty Gilbreth, Stacy Crownover, Schrae Rainey, Lacey Phillips, Christie Storie, and eight great-grandchildren.

Viewing and visitation will be at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Meeker until 8 p.m. Monday. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Morning Star Baptist Church in Meeker with the Rev. Glen White officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery of Meeker.

Billy R. Narry
Shawnee resident Billy R. Narry, 61, died Sunday, Jan. 11, in Shawnee.

Service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Woodville Cemetery in Kingston. Information is pending with Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Jean Etta Davis
Former Shawnee resident Jean Etta Davis, 60, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, in Kansas City, Mo.

Survivors include her son, Willie Baker III of Tuscon, Ariz.; six daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Martey White of Atlanta, Ga., Tracy L. Davis of Kansas City, Mo., Tamika and Duane Clayton of Kansas City, Mo., April Abston of Kansas City, Mo., Deborah Finnell of Kansas City, Mo., and Kathy Finnell-Hopkins and husband, Randy, of Kansas City, Mo.; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Lillian Jackson of Kansas City, Mo., and Paul Jackson of Inglewood, Calif.; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Willard Maytubby of St. Louis, Mo., Elaine and Harold Hudson of Kansas City, Mo., Glenda and James Stewart of Lawton, Cecil and Charles Willis of St. Louis, Mo., Bettye Jackson of Kansas City, Mo., and Marilyn Jackson of Grandview, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Service will be 12:30 p.m. Friday at Swope Parkway Church of Christ in Kansas City, Mo. Burial will be at Brooking Cemetery in Raytown, Mo., with the Rev. Gerald McGill officiating. Lawrence A. Jones and Sons Funeral Chapel is directing arrangements.

Jess Alvin McMahan
Jess Alvin McMahan, 85, of Orange, Calif., died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004.

Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Chapel of Tecumseh with the Rev. Trinnette Smith officiating. Burial will be at Jamison Cemetery.

Other information is pending with Cooper Funeral Home.

Gladys Mary Watson
Norman resident Gladys Mary "Dee" Watson, 78, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, in Norman.

Survivors include her husband, Paul, of the home; son, Dennis P. Watson and wife, Mary, of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Connie R. Northcutt of Norman and Patricia K. Grossman of Arlington, Texas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Grizzle officiating.

Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery in Shawnee.

Service are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman.

Ted Galloway
Chandler resident Ted Galloway, 72, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, in Chandler.

Survivors include his wife, Linda, of the home; four sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Yong Galloway of Las Vegas, Nev., Vernon and Karen Gough, Phillip and Levina Gough and Paul Gough, all of Chandler; two daughters and sons-in-law, Belinda and Jay Burton of Bentonville, Ark., and Carol and Kelly Crary of Sparks; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.

Memorials may be made to the Judith Karmen Hospice Inc., P.O. Box 818, Stillwater, OK 74076. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.

The Rev. Floyd James Tate
Longtime Seminole resident the Rev. Floyd James Tate, 68, died Monday, Jan. 12, at his Seminole home.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Tate, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Dewayne and Kym Tate of Seminole; one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Lynn and Rocky Walker of Pauls Valley; one sister, Virginia Faye Boyce of Stillwater; and four grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. today at Tri-City Christian Center, now known as Immanuel Fellowship, with the Rev. Drew Isaacs officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Brandon David Barfield
Former Shawnee resident Brandon David Barfield died Friday, Jan. 9, at Swedish Medical Center in Inglewood, Colo., following a skiing accident. He was 21 years old.

He was born July 6, 1982, in Midwest City to David Franklin and Brenda Jean (Vessels) Barfield.

He attended South Rock Creek School and graduated from Tecumseh High School in 2000.

He went on to Oral Roberts University, where he was studying youth ministry.

He was an assistant manager for Sonic in Tulsa.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, C.D. Barfield; his stepgrandmother, Beatrice Wise, and one uncle, Tom Barfield.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Brenda and Lloyd Wittmann of Shawnee; his father and stepmother, David and Joyce Barfield of Oklahoma City; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Misti and Brandon Draper, Midwest City; Breann Barfield, Oklahoma City; Allana Wittmann, Utopia, Texas; Shannon and David Cook, Shawnee; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Jessica Wittmann, Shawnee; his fiancee, Amanda Lauridsen; grandparents, Kenneth and Clarice Vessels, Mead, and Julia A. Barfield, Midwest City; stepgrandparents, Ernest Wise, Shawnee; Ray and Alma Friesen, Edmond, and many other relatives.

The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Resthaven Funeral Home in Shawnee. Service will be 2 p.m. today at Rock Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A dinner for family and friends will be served at South Rock Creek Baptist Church after the services.
