Lena Alice Doyle
Lena Alice Doyle, 78, Shawnee, died Wednesday at her home.

She was born Oct, 13, 1924, in Lamar, Ark., the daughter of Effie Jane (Cowell) Cochran.

She married Lonzo Emery "Babe" Doyle on Sept. 20, 1941, in Canadian, Okla., and was a homemaker.

Doyle was member of Central Church of Christ and a former member of Northridge Church of Christ, where she taught children's classes.

She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother and son-in-law, Roger Morgan.

Survivors include her husband, Babe Doyle of the home; children, Mary Alice Morgan, Shawnee, and Dennis Ray and Sandra J. Doyle, Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three half-sisters; one sister-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. today at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with Dwayne Dennis officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park, under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Floriene Witcher
Chandler resident Floriene Witcher, 88, died Thursday in Chandler.

Services are pending and will be announced by Park Brothers Funeral Services, Chandler.

Sherry M. Johnson
Sherry M. Johnson, 52, Ada, died Wednesday in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony Johnson, Ada; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Tara Johnson, Ada, and Kevin and Dana Johnson, Ada; and one grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Smith-Phillips Chapel, Ada, with the Rev. Bob Graves officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Smith-Phillips Funeral Home.

Gertrude Virginia Pickard
Gertrude Virginia Pickard, 86, of McLoud died Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at her home.

She was born April 12, 1916, in Wister to Clauda and Martha Baldwin.

She married Leon Pickard in 1933. He preceded her in death in 1948. She married James Lee Pickard on March 25, 1958. He preceded her in death April 6, 1990.

Pickard lived in McLoud most of her life.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Willia Mae Pickard; son, Leroy Pickard; brothers, Charles Baldwin, Roy Baldwin and R.C. Baldwin; and a sister, Gladys Sparks.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph and Jimmie Pickard of Westville, Robert and Louella Pickard of Shawnee and Leon Jr. and Glenda Pickard of Harrah; daughter-in-law, Carol Pickard of Oklahoma City; daughters, Delena Pickard and Shirley Morphew, both of McLoud; sisters, Christina Koster and Pooch Wood, both of McLoud, Joyce Roberts of Oklahoma City, Evelyn Clement of Oklahoma City, Martha Ellis of Woodward and Lucille Garrett of Shawnee; brother, Albert Baldwin of McLoud; 18 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Dale Cemetery, with the Rev. Tim Pettit of Jordan Baptist Church in Oklahoma City officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.

Robert Carr Moore
Robert Carr Moore, 62, of Wichita, Kan., and formerly of Harrah, died Monday in Wichita, Kan.

Survivors include his brother-in-law, Charles Grundon; two nephews, Mike Grundon, Wichita, and Chris Grundon of Derby, Kan.; and two aunts, Marge Harrell of Okmulgee and Carol Opperman of Michigan.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today at the Jones IOOF Cemetery, Jones.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah.

Linda Faye Brooks
Linda Faye Brooks, 46, of Shawnee died Sunday in Shawnee.

She was born Nov. 4, 1956, in Shawnee to Bell and Pauline Brooks.

She was a 1975 graduate of Shawnee High School and a lifelong resident of Shawnee.

She worked at St. Gregory's College and as a rehabilitation training specialist with Gentiva Health Care.

She was a member of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, where she was also a member of the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Vanesa and Jacques Sloan of Shawnee, Tradashia Allen of Shawnee and Christie Allen of Tecumseh; one son, Deuante Allen of Shawnee; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Margaret Brooks and Joyce and Isiah McClarity, all of Shawnee; brothers, William Clay Brooks and Douglas Brooks, both of Shawnee; six grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilbert L. Tripplett officiating. Burial will follow in Earlsboro Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Beulah E. Goodnight
Beulah E. Goodnight, 92, of Davenport died Tuesday in Cushing.

Survivors include sons, Charles Goodnight of Davenport and Donald Goodnight of Cushing; daughters, Kay Tipton of Davenport, Charlotte Fox of Yukon and Geraldine Leake of Chandler; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler with the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Davenport Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Services of Chandler.

Nellie Claborn
Former Shawnee resident Nellie Claborn, 81, died Sunday in Eufaula.

She was born in Ada to George Wyatt and Pearl Ellen Spangler. She later moved to Shawnee.

She worked for her father at a taxi company and at Kress, Woolworth, Harps Green Valley and Shawnee Round House for 36 years.

She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Shawnee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Clifford and Roy Wyatt; sister Daisy Nelson; sister-in-law, Irene Wyatt; brother-in-law Lawrence Fruit, son-in-law, Delbert Alexander; granddaughter, Brenda Claborn; and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Lyndon Wilson, Stigler; son, Gene Claborn of Las Vegas; sister, Violet Fruit, Shawnee; brother, George Wyatt Jr., Las Vegas; sister-in-law, Gertie Lee Wyatt; brother-in-law, Bob Nelson; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. today at the Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee. Services are under the direction of Hunn, Black and Merritt Funeral Home of Eufaula.

Robert York
Robert York of Newport News, Va., died Monday.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria York, of Shawnee; sons Chuck York and Juan York; two stepchildren, Lesa Johnson and Wendell Johnson, and three grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cooke Brothers Funeral Chapel of Newport News, Va.

Addie Mae Keller
Addie Mae Keller, 87, longtime resident of Chandler, died Thursday in Glendale, Ariz.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Betty Keller of Phoenix, Ariz., and Gary and Barbara Keller of Chandler; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Chandler with the Rev. Thomas Chappelle officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Chandler. Arrangements are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.

Geneva Ethel Myrick
Geneva Ethel Myrick, 93, of Seminole died Saturday at Seminole Estates Nursing Home.

Survivors include her sons, Dick Myrick of Seminole, Deairl Myrick of Seminole, Johnny Myrick of Midwest City.; brothers, Doyle Brown of Mustang, Claude Brown of Oklahoma City; 10 grandsons; three granddaughters, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Kelvin Moseley officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Kimberly Ann Jones
Kimberly Ann Jones, 36, Yukon, died Sunday in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include her son, Trey Brasel, Chandler; parents, Ronald and Phyllis Brasel, Chandler; sister, Dayna Gibson, Oklahoma City, and many other relatives.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler with the Rev. Bruce Newby officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.

Milburn E. Hall
The Rev. Milburn E. Hall, Shawnee, 74, died Saturday.

Survivors include his wife, Doris, of the home; stepdaughter, Phyllis Ingram, Shawnee; son, Bill Hall, Shawnee; three stepsons, Kenneth Vaughn, Shawnee; Alden Vaughn, Shawnee; Russell Vaughn, Tecumseh; sister, Delores Howard, Stigler; five brothers, James, Phillip and David Hall, all of Stigler; Harold Hall of Bakersfield, Calif.; Vernon Hall, Manteca, Calif., two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Assembly of God in Stigler with the Rev. Paul Gregg officiating. Burial will follow in Garland Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler.

Johnnie Ferrell
Johnnie Ferrell, 66, of Paden died Saturday.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Ferrell, of Paden; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Sonny Ferrell of Oklahoma City, Nathan and Mary Ferrell of Oklahoma City, and Jimmy Ferrell of Oklahoma City; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathie and Doug Maxwell of El Reno, Sherlene and Kirk Kelley of Oklahoma City, Brenda and Bobby Scott of Oklahoma City, Sandra and Baltazar Trevizo of Paden; Charlotte and Joe Foley of Paden; brothers, Cran Morrell of Paden, Ronnie Morrell of Oklahoma City, Rickey Ritter of Prague; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ferrell Family Cemetery near Paden, with Mickey and Mavis Metcalf officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.

Raymond John Gibson
Raymond John Gibson, 67, of Moore died Friday, March 12, at his home.

He was born April 6, 1936, to Joe and Kathryn Gibson in Shawnee. In 1958 he moved to the Oklahoma City metro area.

Preceding him in death are his parents and one brother.

Survivors include his wife, Jimmie, of the home; two daughters and one son-in-law, Terry Roberts of Norman and Diana and Mark Bast of Yukon; one son, Dale Gibson of Oklahoma City; two stepsons and daughter-in-law, John Kirkpatrick, Chris and Chasity Teachey, all of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Lyndsay Pratt of Yukon, Rachel and Taylor Roberts of Norman and T.J. Teachey of Oklahoma City; sisters, Betty Dygert of Oklahoma City and Ruth Pribble of Las Vegas, Nev., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 4045 N.W. Expressway, Suite 210, Oklahoma City OK 73116.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Council Road Baptist Church in Bethany. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are under the direction of Yanda and Son Funeral Home of Yukon.

Louise Welsh
Louise Welsh of Seminole died Saturday, March 13, at her home. She was 93.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary O. Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.

Helen Lorene Biggs
Helen Lorene Biggs, 78, of Shawnee died Saturday, March 13, at an Edmond hospital.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Further arrangements will be announced by Walker Funeral Service.

Doris Rexroad
Doris Rexroad, 82, of Shawnee died Friday, March 12.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis Baggs, in 1960; her second husband, Paul Rexroad, her parents; one son, Larry; three brothers, two sisters and one grandson, Rodney.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Myrna and Paul Nelson of McLoud and Vicky and Don Downey of Woodward; one brother, Bill Leist of Booker, Texas; one sister, Dixie Meixner of Fair Oaks, Calif.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the May, Okla., Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
