Former Shawnee resident Franklin Delano Phillips, 70, of Lexington died Sunday in Oklahoma City.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of Walker Funeral Service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Johnnie D. Goodenough
McLoud resident Johnnie D. Goodenough, 55, died Feb. 12 in McLoud.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Goodenough of the home, two daughters, Christine Hoffman and her husband, Johnny, Shawnee; Jessica Goodenough of the home; brothers, Orville Goodenough, Norman; Johnny Goodenough, Tulsa; five sisters, Ema "Jane" Snider, Newalla; Sue Dollins, Stillwater; Edith Mae Weyant, Lancaster, Calif.; Ethel Stalik, Henryetta; Eva "Sharon" Heath, Moore, and two grandchildren.

Services were Saturday at Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah. Burial was at Memory Lane Cemetery, under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah.

Ella Mae Sparkman
Former Tecumseh resident Ella Mae Sparkman, 86, of Charlotte, N.C., died Saturday at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Linda Sparkman of Charlotte, N.C.; sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Carl James of Shawnee; brother-in-law, Jim Sandefur of Tecumseh; granddaughter, A'Lisa Olsen and her husband, of Utah; three great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Chapel of Memories in Norwalk, Calif., under the direction of Lingo Funeral Chapel.

Leona Mae Craft
Leona Mae Craft of Stillwater died Friday at the age of 100.

Survivors include daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy and C.B. Jarvis of Chandler, Ruth Pauline Craft of the home, Glenna Simpson of Kingfisher, and Juanita Standefer of Blanchard; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater with the Rev. C.B. Jarvis officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater.

Pamela Elizabeth Ashford
Pamela Elizabeth Ashford, 58, died Sunday at her home in Sparks.

She was born Nov. 11, 1944, in Shawnee to Lester and Kathryn (Bailey) Robinson. She was a member of Faith Bible Church in Prague and worked for the Oklahoma Tax Commission. She was married to Walter Ashford.

Surviving relatives include her husband of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathryn and Dave Mackey of Shawnee; Karen and Bobby Kesler of Tecumseh; a stepdaughter, Donna Harrison of Oklahoma City; a stepson, Walter Ashford Jr. of McLoud; six grandchildren, Kyle, Kelsey and Madison Kesler of Tecumseh; Lauren, Bailey and Hunter Mackey of Shawnee; two stepgrandchildren, Brittany and James Harrison of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Bill Thompson of Edmond; Dewitt Robinson of Dickerson, Texas, and one sister, Ann Willett of Yukon.

Services will be 10 a.m. today at Faith Bible Church in Prague with the Rev. Bob Croucher officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Mission Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.

James Harris Raney Jr.
Longtime Chandler resident James Harris Raney Jr. died Sunday in Lexington. He was 54.

Survivors include a son, Charles Raney of Tacoma, Wash.; daughter, Tina Tyner of Lawton; brother, Willie Floyd Raney of Oklahoma City; 11 grandchildren, and many other relatives.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Clearview Cemetery in Chandler with the Rev. James Reed officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.

M.E. "Lisa" (Kochick) Cluts
M.E. "Lisa" (Kochick) Cluts, 31, Fredricksburg, Va., died Sunday in Fredricksburg.

She was born Dec. 1, 1970, in Oklahoma City to Cliff and Margaret Ann (Walters) Kochick. She was a 1989 graduate of Tecumseh High School and attended Seminole Junior College. She attended nursing school in Montgomery, Ala., and was a registered nurse at Northern Virginia Community Hospital in Arlington, Va.

She was reared in Norman and Salina, Kan., and also had lived in Montgomery, Ala. She was married to Staley P. Cluts.

She attended U.S. Army basic training and school at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, and was a veteran of the Gulf War.

Preceding her in death was her grandmother, Margaret Walters.

Surviving are her husband, Staley P. Cluts, of the home; two sons, Levi Cluts and Jordan Cluts, of the home; mother, Margaret Ann Walters of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; father and stepmother, Cliff and Marie Kochick of Tecumseh; grandparents, Col. Gene Walters of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Michael and Myrtle Kochick of Tecumseh; aunts and uncles, Edward and Joyce Kochick of Holly Springs, N.C.; Jim and Jo Kochick of Enid; Mike and Carol Kochick of Sugarland, Texas; Wanda and Tom O'Neal of Norman; Mary Ann and Mike Stevens of Tecumseh; and numerous friends and other relatives.

Graveside services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Brown Cemetery with the Rev. Delbert Smith officiating. The casket will be open until 1:30 p.m. Saturday and will not be reopened.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Donald R. Carver
Shawnee resident Donald R. Carver, Shawnee, died Wednesday at a local hospital.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Don Gibson officiating.

Other services are pending and will be announced by Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel of Shawnee.

Wiley S. Robison
Meeker resident Wiley Robison, 88, died Tuesday at a local nursing home.

No services were held.

Harvey Jim
Shawnee resident Harvey Jim, 63, died Wednesday at an Oklahoma City hospital.

Services are pending with Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.

Anthony C. Brzozowski
Anthony C. "Tony" Brzozowski, 80, of Harrah died Monday in Eufaula.

Surviving relatives include a brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Gracie Brzozowski of Harrah; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Louise and George Brouse of Cleveland, Ohio, and Sister Imelda Brzozowski of Oklahoma City; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at St. Teresa's Catholic Cemetery in Harrah with the Rev. Wilbur Moore officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah.

Marie Applewhite
Marie Applewhite, 92, of Shawnee died Wednesday at her home.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Crawford West of Seminole; and two grandsons, James West of Seminole and Land West of Valley View, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church with the Rev. Maurus Jaeb, O.S.B., officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.

Memorials may be made to St. Benedict Catholic Church Memorial Fund.

Victor Kenneth Fraser
Maud resident Victor Kenneth Fraser Sr., 60, died Tuesday at his home.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Cummings Cemetery, Maud, with the Rev. Larry Chesser officiating.

Services are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home, Maud.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Fraser, of the home; one son, Victor K. Fraser Jr., Wewoka; daughter, Janet Ray, Oklahoma City; stepsons, Ashley Postman and Wesley Postman, both of Maud; foster son, Jerry Durkee, Shawnee; brother, Montie Fraser, Monroe, La.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Hiram Ben Webb
Hiram Ben "H.B." Webb, 95, of Prague died Wednesday in Prague.

He was born May 20, 1907, in Benton County, Ark., to Steven Dickson and Martha Elizabeth (Hinson) Webb.

He had been a resident of Lincoln County most of his life.

He farmed in the Sparks area for many years and lived in Prague the past 20 years.

While he did not attend a specific church, he was saved three years ago.

He married Flora Roundtree in Bristow in 1936.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include his former wife, Flora Webb of Stroud; sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Fern Webb of Sparks, and Darrell and Carolyn Webb of Stroud; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in the Parks Brothers funeral chapel with Alfred Hughes and Danny Webb officiating. Burial will follow at the White Dove Cemetery near Sparks.

Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.

Charles Evans Fidler
Charles Evans Fidler, 86, of Konawa died Sunday at an Ada hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Emma D. Fidler, of the home; one son, Jarrett E. Fidler of Konawa; daughter, Sharon D. Hogue of Konawa; sister, Evelyn Wells of Tulsa; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at the Assembly of God Church in Konawa with the Rev. Don Newby and the Rev. Mitch Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at Konawa City Cemetery under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

Mary Francys Mauldin
Mary Francys Mauldin, 64, of Del City died Sunday in a Midwest City hospital.

She was born Feb. 8, 1938, in Meeker to Charles and Agnes Pinkerton.

She was a graduate of McLoud High School.

She married Bobbie Mauldin, and because he was in the military traveled across the country. She retired to Oklahoma to be near family.

Survivors include her mother, Agnes Goodwin of Del City; daughter, Michelle Heilaman of Del City; son-in-law, Allen Heilaman of Shawnee; daughter and her companion, Teresa Mauldin and Kim Throndson of Santa Cruz, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Walker Funeral Service with the Rev. Quentin Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.

The casket will remain open until 10 a.m. Wednesday and will not be opened after the service.

Roma Arlene Shelton
Roma Arlene Shelton, 79, of Shawnee died Sunday in a local nursing home.

She was born Oct. 16, 1923, in Shawnee to Andrew and Roma (Ridenaur) King. She attended and graduated from Shawnee schools.

She was a homemaker.

She married Earl Shelton on Oct. 14, 1939, in Shawnee.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church since 1948 and was a long-time Sunday School teacher and Associational WMU President.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a number of brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Shelton, of the home; daughter, Linda Duncan; sons, Keith Shelton and Kenneth Shelton; sisters, Ruby Glenn of Norman and Oleta McCalip of Shawnee; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Don Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Service of Shawnee.
