Nancy Faye Nichols, 72, of Okemah died Monday in Tulsa.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Butch Nichols and Ginger, Danny Nichols, and Clifford and Vernice Nichols, all of Okemah; one brother, Andrew Baker; one brother-in-law, Mutt Nichols of Okemah; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Skyview Baptist Church in Okemah with the Rev. Dennis Yeubanks and the Rev. Carl Clay officiating. Burial will follow at Castle Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.

Clarence William Dallas
Seminole resident Clarence William Dallas, 72, died Monday at a Seminole hospital.

Survivors include a daughter, Penny Woodruff of Seminole; sons, Clarence Dallas of Perryville, Mo.; Tim Dallas of Fetus, Mo.; Terry Dallas of Seminole and Patrick Dallas of Seminole; one brother, Marvin Dallas of Crystal City, Mo.; two sisters, Beatrice Bellfield of Fetus, Mo., and Delmay Helensmithe of Wichita Falls, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Marie E. Lee
Meeker resident Marie E. Lee, 89, died Monday in Meeker.

Survivors include her husband, Forrest A. Lee of Meeker; and sisters Naomi Seabaugh, Ruth Shelton, Glenda Rehop, Maxine Moore and Betty Wagoner, all of Fredericktown, Mo.

Viewing will be at Parks Brothers Chapel in Meeker until 6 p.m. today.

A prayer service will be 7 p.m. today at St. Michael Catholic Church in Meeker.

Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. Adrian Vorderlanwehr, O.S.B., officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Meeker under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.

Douglas Howard Parker
Douglas Howard Parker Sr., 58, of Harrah died Sunday in Midwest City.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Janes (Shanahan) Parker of Harrah; daughters and sons-in-law, Gina and Allen Carr and Melissa and David Fegurgur, all of Harrah; son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Lisa Parker of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; brothers, Larry Parker of Lucedalle, Miss, Gilbert Parker of Somerville, Ala., Jimmy Parker of Somerville, Ala., and Billy Parker of Somerville, Ala; sisters, Glenda Riner of Hartsell, Ala., Yvonne Freeman of Somerville, Ala., and Montez Brown of Decature, Ala.; stepbrothers, Maurice Serder and James Serder of Alabama; half-sisters, Ann Davis, Mona Randolph and Petie Hale of Alabama; stepsisters, Evelyn Garrison and Linda Serder of Alabama; and grandchildren, Hubert Carr, Stephen Carr, Bryce Fegurgur and Makaila Fegurgur, all of Harrah.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Newalla with the Rev. Griff Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah.

A. Katherine Blevins
A. Katherine Blevins, 82, of Seminole died Friday in Seminole.

Survivors include a son, Larry Moreland; sister, Lavalla Spencer; grandchildren, Kirk Robertson of Nacogdoches, Texas, Keith Moreland of Goliad, Texas, Kendall Moreland of Goliad, Texas; six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were 2 p.m. Tuesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

James Renfrow Yarbrough
Former Shawnee resident James Renfrow Yarbrough, 74, died Friday in Nashville, Tenn.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Nowell Yarbrough; two daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Jeff Markay of Caldwell, N.J., and Susan and Byron Jorjorian of Thompson Station, Tenn.; a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sheila Cain Yarbrough of Steamboat Springs, Colo., and a chosen son, Fariborz Rahkshan of Indianapolis, Ind.

Memorial services were May 20 at Glendale Baptist Church.

Mable Stillwell
Mable Stillwell, 72, of Seminole died Monday at her home. Services are pending and will be announced by Swearingen Funeral Home.

Alma Faye Richard
Alma Faye Richard, 85, of Ada died Sunday at a local nursing home.

She is survived by a son, Louis Richard, of Fittstown; a daughter, Melba Gibson of Evanston, Wyo.; a stepdaughter, Evelyn Grimsley of Atoka; a brother, Willie Hopper of Buttonwillow, Calif.; a sister, Margie Martin of Norman; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Union Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Randall Christy officiating. Burial will follow at Maud Cemetery.

Nancy Vann
Nancy Vann, 52, of Tecumseh died Saturday in Oklahoma City.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell Vann, of the home; four sons, Ray Lemmings of Konawa, Ricky Lemmings of the home, Randy Lemmings of the home and Roger Lemmings of Macomb; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Leland and Connie Moore of Macomb, Billy and Judy Powers of Shawnee, and Dennis Powers of Shawnee; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Prairie View Cemetery with the Rev. Darrell Whitten officiating.

Dorothy M. Duncan
Dorothy M. Duncan, 78, of Seminole died Sunday at an Oklahoma City hospital.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Ray Duncan of Earlsboro and David Lee Duncan of Seminole; a daughter, Mary Katherine Hagerty of Lexington; a sister, Alpha Iona Marshall of Moore; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

A service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will be in the Little Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Swearingen Funeral Home.

Michael Scott Haffey
Michael Scott Haffey, 24, of Shawnee died Sunday.

He was born in Shawnee July 21, 1977, the son of Mike and La Rita Haffey.

Haffey graduated from Shawnee High School in 1996. He was a junior at Rose State College and a teller at Arvest Bank. Before working at the bank, he worked at Mobil Chemical for four years.

He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, where he served as an altar boy when he was younger. He was captain of the SHS wresting team in high school.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer and Libby Blackstone and Fred Haffey.

Survivors include his parents, Mike and La Rita Haffey; a sister and brother-in-law, Karey and Brett Harrel of Blue Springs. Mo.; his grandmothers, Mary Haffey, Gerry Batt and Rose Hinchee, all of Shawnee; his aunts and uncles, Gene and Retha Morris, Dick and Betty Morris, Brenda Stephenson and John and Carolyn Haffey, all of Shawnee, Terry Blackstone of Oklahoma City, Fred and Debbie Haffey and Mary and Ron Minion, all of Tecumseh, Michelle and Jimmy Hodges of Moore, Irene and Ron Myers of Ponca City, Debra Chesser of Norman and Clara Frezza of Florida; and a niece.

A prayer service will be 7 p.m. today at Rosech-Walker Funeral Chapel. A service will noon Wednesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church with the Rev. Maurus Jaeb, O.S.B., officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Earl Don Owen
Earl Don "Scooter" Owen died May 13 at his Shawnee home.

Services were held May 15 at Liberty Baptist Church. Burial followed at Bethel Cemetery.

Gwendolyn Lee Jones
Konawa resident Gwendolyn Lee Jones, 63, died Friday at an Oklahoma City hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Jones of the home; three sons, Johnny Jones of Maud, Michael Jones of Shawnee and Eric Jones of Saint Louis; daughter, Ladonna Bryce of Konawa; sister, Nyoka Griffen of Shawnee; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today at Sasakwa Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Wesley Martin officiating.

Burial will be at Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

John William Bell
John William Bell, 82, of Chandler died Monday in his home.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Tiffey of Chandler and Sandra Bell of Oklahoma City; three grandsons, Michael and wife Rene Bell of Oklahoma City and Tanner and Chance Tiffey of Chandler; special friends Bill and Lois Tipton of Bethany; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler with the Rev. Gerald Johnson and the Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating.

Dwight Lillard Mills
Dwight Lillard Mills, 51, of Seminole died Thursday at a Seminole hospital.

Survivors include his stepmother, Pauline Wilcox Mills of Seminole; stepbrothers, J.D. Wilcox and Buster Wilcox, both of Seminole; stepsister, Diane Meeks of Noble; aunts, Edna (Mills) Parrish of Seminole; uncles, Claud Mills of Midland, Texas, and W.C. Mills, San Angelo, Texas; and many other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.

Joe Robbins
Joe Robbins, 72, of Shawnee died Friday at an Oklahoma City hospital.

Arrangements are pending with Resthaven Funeral Home.

Aaron White
U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Aaron White, 27, of Shawnee died Monday in Iraq.

Services are pending with Walker Funeral Service of Shawnee.

Bobby David Cox
Tecumseh resident Bobby David Cox, 40, formerly of McLoud, died Tuesday in Tecumseh.

Survivors include four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Pat and Steven Kramer, Tina and Carl Holmes, Candy Reed and Vicki Lower, all of Shawnee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Chapel of Tecumseh.

Roy Charles Fry
Konawa resident Roy Charles Fry, 89, died Thursday at an Oklahoma City hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara "Olene" Fry of the home; children, Roy Fry Jr. of Chihuahua, Mexico, and Monte Surber of Konawa; a brother, Roland Fry of Altus, and four grandchildren and four-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell with the Rev. Charley Henthorn officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

Eldon Haley
Chandler resident Eldon Haley, 84, died Wednesday in Shawnee.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Cindy Haley of Chandler; one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Ed Taylor of Chandler; six grandchildren, Cimaron, Melissa, Cristal, Samantha, Haley and James, all of Chandler; one great-granddaughter; and other friends and relatives.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Chandler with the Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.

Bassie Beatrice Solomon
Bassie Beatrice Solomon, 89, of Orting, Wash., died Tuesday.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Wayne Turgen officiating.

Further arrangements are pending with Resthaven Funeral Home.

Anjaline Getzelman
Anjaline Getzelman, 88, of Tecumseh died Wednesday in Shawnee.

She was born Dec. 10, 1914, in Pottawatomie County to Ora Gipson and Vina Lou (Roberts) Hogue.

Getzelman grew up in Oklahoma and lived in California for 41 years, returning to Oklahoma in 1978.

She married Leslie Getzelman on July 7, 1944, in California.

While living in California, she worked for Hughes Aircraft for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

Survivors include her husband of the home; sisters, Anna Edgeman of Tecumseh and Laura Mayes of Tecumseh; brother and sister-in-law, Charley and Annette Hogue of Tecumseh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Tecumseh Cemetery with the Rev. Clint Dawkins officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
