Audre' Lucille Henry
Audre' Lucille Henry of El Sobrante, Calif., died Sunday in a Richmond, Calif., hospital. She was 67.

She was born Jan. 24, 1936, in Longview, Texas, to George Amos and Alva Viola (Jennings) Garrett.

She attended Brush High School in Brush, Colo., the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colo., and Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee. She received a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from Oklahoma State University and a master of arts degree in education from the University of Oklahoma.

Henry was a public school educator and administrator in Shawnee, Oklahoma City and the West Contra Unified School District in Richmond, Calif., with an emphasis in special education. She was also involved in many professional education organizations.

She married Mark Gordon Hamilton on March 24, 1988, in Norman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Lindsey Nicole Henry.

She is survived by her husband, Mark G. Hamilton, of El Sobrante, Calif.; her son, daughter-in-law and three granddaughters, Gov. Brad and Kim Henry and Leah, Laynie and Baylee, all of Oklahoma City; her daughter, Julie Genét Henry of St. Louis, Mo.; her son, Thomas Dirk Henry of Shawnee; her sister and nephew, Julie Ann Garrett of Norman and Troy Wayne Garrett of Midwest City; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee with the Rev. Jeff Zurheide of First Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence, a non-profit organization supporting public education, 120 N. Robinson, Suite 2618, Oklahoma City, Okla., 73102.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service, Shawnee.

Velma L. Weston Coffman
Velma L. Weston Coffman, lifelong resident of the Shawnee area, died Wednesday at her home. She was 89.

She was born Dec. 27, 1913, in Shawnee to Ulysses Fred Hart and Maggie (Hutchins) Hart. She graduated from Bethel High School.

On Oct. 1, 1937, she married A.C. Weston, who preceded her in death. In 1996, she married Herman Coffman.

She retired as sales clerk at Montgomery Ward's in Shawnee.

She was a member of Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church and the Yarn and Darn Club.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Helen Black; and several siblings, Dorothy Chancellor, Loretta Farris, Richard Hart, F. Hart, James Hart, June Rakovan and Janet Joyce.

She is survived by her husband, Herman, of the home; one daughter, Sandra Allison of Shawnee; one stepson, David Coffman and wife Melba of Shawnee; three grandchildren, Kenneth, Carol and Terry; four step-grandchildren, Jeff, Susan, Cindy and Craig; nine great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Marjorie Coffin of Toledo, Ohio; Shirley Slaten of Shawnee and Barbara and James Vickers of Midland, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Dean Joyce and Bonnie Farris; two sisters-in-law, Jane Hart and Lawana Hart; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Sparks and Bob Harman officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Home.

Virgie Ruth Evans
Virgie Ruth Evans of Seminole died Tuesday at an Oklahoma City hospital at age 73.

Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Galilee Baptist Temple of Praise and Deliverance in Seminole. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole.

Further information is pending with Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Robert H. Deel
Ada resident Robert H. Deel, 72, died Wednesday in an Ada hospital.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Wanette Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Welch officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.

Vera Mae Corrick
Vera Mae Corrick of Chandler died Thursday in Oklahoma City at the age of 77.

She is survived by her husband, Cletus Corrick of Chandler; one son and daughter-in-law, Rodger and Sandra Corrick of Chandler; one daughter, Teresa Williams of Washougal, Wash.; one brother, Don Lewis of Nashville, Tenn.; four grandchildren and spouses; one great-grandson and many other relatives and friends.

Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Parks Funeral Chapel in Chandler with the Rev. Doyle Seeley officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.

Evalou Kitchen
Evalou Kitchen, Stroud resident, died Wednesday at her home. She was 79.

She is survived by two sons, David Kitchen of Norman and Stephen Kitchen of Beverly Hills, Calif.; one daughter, Louann Kitchen of Pasadena, Calif.; two brothers, Tom Hubbell of Stroud and Gordon Hubbell of West Jefferson, N.C.; two nephews, Matt Hubbell of Arlington, Texas, and Aaron Hubbell of Walnut Creek, Calif.; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 7 p.m. Monday at Stroud Cemetery with the Rev. Sandy Chace officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brother Funeral Service in Stroud.

Geneva Peterson
Geneva Peterson, 82, died Wednesday at her home in Stroud.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Patsy Ellis of Stroud; two sisters, Myrtle Thompson of LaPine, Ore., and Dorothy Mead of Lawton; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. today at Stroud Cemetery with Yvonne Jones officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.

Harry Hopcus
Longtime Harrah resident Harry Hopcus died Thursday in Midwest City. He was 78.

He is survived by his sister, Willie Wajda of Choctaw, and a niece, Mary Wood of Luther.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Harrah with the Rev. Alan Loth officiating. Burial will follow at St. Teresa's Catholic Cemetery in Harrah.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Home in Harrah.

Judy A. Wallis
Judy A. Wallis, 43, died Tuesday at her home in McLoud.

She was born May 4, 1960, in Houston, Texas, to William Wallis Jr. and Martha Evalena (Wilkerson) Wallis.

She was a corrections officer at the Central Oklahoma Corrections Center and a member of McLoud First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Wallis is survived by her daughter, Amber L. Hubbs of Oklahoma City; her parents, of McLoud; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra A. and Harvey Rooks and Linda A. and Dennis England, all of McLoud; and several nieces and nephews, Michael and Monica Hannifan, Tim D. Hannifan, Jason D. Black and Taresa D. Black.

Service will be 2 p.m. today at McLoud First Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Donna Z. Whitaker
Donna Z. Whitaker, 91, died Monday in Midwest City.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Rae and Roger G. Norman of Midwest City; and a sister, Erma Dell Vines of Mt. Ida, Ark.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Prague Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Roach of First United Methodist Church of Prague officiating.

Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.

Viola Estella Climer
Viola Estella Climer, 84, of Wewoka died Saturday at a Shawnee hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Elva Smith-Dover, Shawnee; two sons, Ray Climer and Gene Climer, both of Wewoka; two sisters, Jessie DeLeon of Shawnee and Cora Bell Hardy of Tecumseh; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; 20 nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Services are 2 p.m. today at Stout-Phillips Chapel, Wewoka, with the Rev. Larry Chesser officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.

John Harvey Davis
John Harvey Davis, 69, of Shawnee died Saturday in an Oklahoma City hospital.

He was born Jan. 17, 1933, in Fayette, Ark., the son of Dell and Dorothy Davis. He was raised in Alabama and was the owner-operator of Davis Roofing. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He moved to Shawnee in the early 1950s and was a member of the Johnson Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Floyd Davis.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Alene Davis, Ernest and Beverly Davis, and Harvey and Sandie Davis, all of Shawnee; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Charles Crane of Tecumseh; a daughter, Charlotte Duncan of Tecumseh; brothers and sisters-in-law, Loyd and Nellie Davis, George and Barbara Davis, Howard and Sandy Davis, Caroll and Christy Davis, Gary and Pat Davis, all of Shawnee; Hubert and Debbie Davis, Charles and Rena Davis, all of Marietta; sisters and brothers-in-law, Juanita and Wayne Hammons, Seminole, Wilienell and Chalmer Tidwell of Alabama, and Loudale and Cecil Bailey of Texas; companion, Jackie Meyer of Shawnee; former wife, Frances Plunkett of Shawnee; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Tecumseh Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Higgins officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

William Kenneth Puckett Sr.
William Kenneth Puckett Sr., 84, of Shawnee died Saturday in an Oklahoma City hospital.

He was born April 26, 1918, in Izzard County, Ark., to Joel Pleasant and Della (Grills) Puckett.

He was a sign maker and a member of the United States Navy. He married Patty Hawkins, and they were married for 63 years. He lived most of his life in Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Lynette Puckett.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Puckett of Drumright; three daughters, Judy Patterson of Conroe, Texas, Dorsey Skolant of Waco, Texas, and Glenda Hunt of Baytown, Texas; one son, William Kenneth Puckett Jr. of Shawnee; grandchildren, LeaAnne Berry of Sapulpa, Lori Hinson of Leakey, Texas, Ralph Puckett of Shawnee, Kenny Puck of Oklahoma City, Jenny Tyler of Austin, Texas, Angie Arnold of Conroe, Texas, Katina Duke of Baytown, Texas, Hayley Hunt of Baytown, Texas, and Natalie Lewis of Huffman, Texas; two sons-in-law, Cliff Hunt and Mike Skolant; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Puckett; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Carmen Spradlin of Chandler, Texas; one brother, Taz Puckett of Maryville, Tenn.; two sisters-in-law, June Puckett of Maryville, Tenn., and Christine Brown of Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McLoud Church of Christ with Wayne Price officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.

Thomas Evert Lloyd
Thomas Evert Lloyd, 83, died Saturday at his Chandler home.

Survivors include his wife Ruth Lloyd of the home; one daughter, Launa Sue Carafoil of Florida, and many other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler with the Rev. Randy Ethridge officiating. Burial will follow at the Bristow City Cemetery.

Faye Marie Keesee
Faye Marie Keesee, 86, of Wanette died Monday in Purcell.

She was born March 13, 1916, in Wanette to Frank and Lula (Spencer) Lamirand. She was reared west of Wanette in Canadian Valley where she attended school.

She was marred on May 30, 1933, to Moyse "Shorty" Keesee in Wanette. Following their marriage, they made their home in Wanette. He preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1982.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Nazarene Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in Wanette.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Dellia Duncan, in 1973 and nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Gail Keesee of Wanette; one daughter and son-in-law, Gelene and Billy Shannon of Wanette; one brother, Frank Lamirand of Wanette; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Gerald and Darlene Duncan of Purcell, Wayne and Pam Duncan of Tecumseh, Chiquita Duncan of Ada, Donnie and Ruthie Duncan of Anderson, Mo., Butch Shannon of Wanette, Charlotte and Arnold Effinger of Wanette, and Jeff and Cathy Shannon of Kilgore, Texas; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Chapel of Tecumseh. The casket will remain open until 10:45 a.m. and will not be reopened following the service. Burial will follow at Wanette Cemetery.

Donna Z. Whitaker, 91, died Monday in Midwest City.

Services are pending with Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague.
