Seminole resident Otis Gene "Mike" Harrison, 74, died Sept. 28 at a Seminole hospital

Survivors include his wife, Colleen Marie (Smith) Harrison; son, Grady Harrison of Oakland, Calif.; and two daughters, Linda Harrison of Noble and Trudy Harrison of La Porte, Texas.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Steve Cline will officiate. Swearingen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Treasa Bell
McLoud resident Treasa Bell, 81, died Sept. 28. Services are pending with Walker Funeral Service.

Shirley Sisney
Macomb resident Shirley Sisney, 65, died Sept. 27 in Shawnee.

Viewing will be at Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh, until 1 p.m. today. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Hope Baptist church with the Rev. John Mixon officiating. A private committal will be held at Tecumseh Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.

Clara E. Cheves
Clara E. Cheves, Tecumseh, 78, died Sunday in Shawnee.

She was born July 11, 1924, in Oklahoma City to Brenton and Lizzie Ethel (Collins) Dunlap.

She was reared in Oklahoma City and graduated from Capitol Hill High School.

On Oct. 2, 1947, she married James Cheves in Alaska.

She lived in Alaska for several years before returning to Oklahoma in 1952.

She was a Tecumseh resident since 1985.

She was a homemaker.

Her parents and three brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, James Cheves of the home; daughter, Peggy Stoller of Oklahoma City; four sons, James Allen Cheves of Tecumseh, Clifford Dale Cheves of Tecumseh, Mark Craig Cheves of Tecumseh and Michael Dave Cheves of Boulder, Colo.; a sister, Ruth Abbott of Yukon; one brother, Chester Dunlap of Edmond; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Brown Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Stone officiating. Services are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Stella Mae McCullar
Wewoka resident Stella Mae Moore McCullar died Tuesday at a Seminole hospital at the age of 94.

She was born Jan. 19, 1909, in Stratford, to William and Abbie Byford Glass.

She attended Stratford schools.

She worked at Temple Pharmacy and was a homemaker.

She married Robert (Bob) McCuller on May 8, 1926, in Stratford. He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1972.

She was a member of the Downtown Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was involved in the women's ministry and worked in the nursery for many years.

She lived in Shawnee most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Beverly Sue McCullar; her sister, Susie Nail; and two brothers, Wallace and James D. (Jim) Glass.

Survivors include three sons, William McCullar of Shawnee, Bob McCullar of Tecumseh and Jerry McCullar of Shawnee; a daughter, Leona Woodward of Cromwell; 25 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Walker Funeral Service with the Rev. Mick Snider and the Rev. C.C. Atchley officiating.

Burial will be at the Lightening Ridge Cemetery in Vanoss under the direction of Walker Funeral Service of Shawnee.

Lillian V. Lang
Shawnee resident Lillian V. "Lilly" Lang, 71, died Saturday at a local nursing home.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Lang, Shawnee; two sons, Donald Lang of Fredericksburg, Va.; and Bradley Warrick of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and four grandchildren.

Service will be at noon Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church with the Rev. Maurus Jaeb, O.S.B., officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Shawnee.

Goldie Marie Austin
Goldie Marie Austin, 88, Shawnee, died Wednesday in Shawnee.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel with the Barry Norris officiating.

Burial will be at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Home of Shawnee.

Further information is pending and will be announced by Gaskill Owens Funeral Home.

Jerry Lynn Wilson
Jerry Lynn Wilson, Shawnee, 61, died Tuesday in an Oklahoma City hospital.

Services are pending with Walker Funeral Service.

Joe Allen Guilliams
Former Tecumseh resident Joe Allen Guilliams, 75, Edmond, died Monday in Edmond.

He was born Dec. 9, 1929, in Shawnee to Vivian and Clyde Guilliams.

He was reared in Tecumseh and graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1947.

He graduated from Central State University, now the University of Central Oklahoma, in 1971.

He married Mozelle Thomas on April 8, 1950, at Broadway Methodist Church in Tecumseh.

He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 38 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Karen Childs and husband Les; son, Mark Guilliams and wife Carol; twin brother, Jerry Guilliams and wife Mary Lou; two sisters, Oleta Harlin and husband Myrle and Jean Thomas and husband Harold; and three granddaughters, Stacy and Kristen Childs and Cory Guilliams.

Service will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Baggerley Funeral Chapel in Edmond. Burial will be 3 p.m. at the Tecumseh Cemetery.

Danny D. Wilson
Meeker resident Danny D. Wilson, 59, died Tuesday in Shawnee.

He was born Dec. 10, 1943, in Oklahoma City, the son of Doil and Donna (Wood) Wilson.

He married Frances Janie Gentry Dec. 22, 1961, in Meeker.

He attended Davenport Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dan Doil Wilson Jr.; brother, Bert Wilson; and sister, Frankie Wilson.

Survivors include his wife, Janie Wilson of Meeker; sons, Jackie Wilson and Scott Wilson of Meeker; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Mike Williams, Meeker; daughter-in-law, Tara Wilson, Meeker; stepparents, Robert E. and Estelle Wood, Meeker; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Louise Wilson of Shawnee, Robert Lee and Barbara Wood, Meeker, Gene and Debbie Wood, Foster, and Ronnie and Linda Wilson of Shawnee; six sisters and five brothers-in-law, Janet Nagar of Meeker, Judy and Wayne Guinn, Shawnee, JoAnn and Milton Dickson, Shawnee, Diane and Robert Manley, Choctaw, Susie and Rusty Denney, Prague, and Nancy and Larry Bradley, Meeker; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Gable Cemetery with the Rev. Leon Williams and the Rev. Darel Louden officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.

Delbert D. Templeton Sr.
Shawnee resident Delbert D. Templeton Sr., 78, died Monday at a local care center.

Survivors include his son, Delbert Templeton Jr. and wife Betty of Shawnee; three daughters, Brenda Daniel and husband Harold of Newalla, Patricia Oliphant and husband Joe of Macomb, and Sharour Big Solider and husband Jacob of Dover; brother, Melvin Templeton of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Dorothy Sorrel of Houston, Texas, Imogene Miller of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Bonnie Hoffman of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Resthaven Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Jackson and the Rev. Robert McDoulett officiating. Burial will be at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Velma Pearl Kessinger
Velma Pearl Kessinger, 84, of Earlsboro died Monday in Shawnee.

She was born Jan. 1, 1919, in Bridgefield, Ark., to Calvin Delanor and Della (Sykes) Green.

She attended school at Whitesboro. She spent most of her adult life in the Shawnee and Tecumseh area.

She married Jewell Kessinger on Feb. 17, 1944, in Skagg City. He preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 1992.

She worked for Macklinburg-Duncan for 20 years, retiring in 1982.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Arlyn Patterson of Shawnee and Carolyn Kay and Don Wilson of Red Oak, Texas; sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry and Sylita Kessinger of Blanchard and Charles Kessinger of Seminole; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Forest Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Craig of Temple Baptist Church officiating.

June Evans
June Evans, 75, of Wellston and formerly of Chandler, died Monday in Wellston.

Survivors include sons, Larry Evans of Chandler, Marvin Evans of Wellston, Roy Evans of Wellston and Troy Evans of Wellston; daughters, Kathryn Olds of Edmond and Karen Spriger of Oklahoma City; brothers, Denton Osburn of Oklahoma City, Jimmy Osburn of Moore and Noel Osburn of Edmond; stepmother, Oleta Osburn of Wellston; sister, Janis Steffens of Woodward; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Service will be 10 a.m. today at Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston with the Rev. Lane Buckley officiating. Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.

Andrew Rivas Columbus
Shawnee resident Andrew Rivas "Tito" Columbus, 62, died Monday in Shawnee.

Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh with the Rev. Larry Goins and the Rev. Phil Thompson officiating.

Other information is pending and will be announced by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

J.P. Bennett
Harrah resident J.P. Bennett, 72, died Monday at an Oklahoma City hospital.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.
