DONNA SUE BOHANNON
GROVE - Donna Sue Bohannon, 53, died Sunday, November 11, 2001 in her home in Grove. The daughter of Roy and Mona (Carey) Sixkiller, she was born on October 30, 1948 in Grove. Donna was a member of the Cave Springs Church and the Cherokee Nation. She spent all life in the Grove area.
Survivors include: four children, Pricilla Monson, St. Louis, Mo., Kenneth Wogoman, Tuttle, Okla., Joseph Wogoman, San Diego, Calif., and Bobby Wogoman, Grove; a sister, Barbara Blowers, Grove; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be at the graveside in the Zena Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 15 under the directions of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.

JUDITH ELIZABETH BOOTH
COFFEYVILLE, Kan. - Judith Elizabeth "Judy" Booth, 55, died Wednesday morning, October 24, 2001 at her home. Judith was born May 15, 1946 at Coffeyville, Kan., to Jack P. (Sr.) and Helen (Shea) Pfister. She attended Holy Name Catholic School, Field Kindley High School where she was a member of Sigma Phi Honor Society, graduating in 1964, and Coffeyville Community Junior College, graduating in 1966. After she completed her schooling, Mrs. Booth moved to Tulsa, Okla., where she worked as a secretary for three years before moving back to Coffeyville. On May 22, 1976 she married Robert Wane Booth at Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville. Following their marriage, the couple made their home in Coffeyville. Mrs. Booth was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling and fishing. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and Altar Society at the church.
Mrs. Booth is survived by: her husband, Bob; parents, Jack (Sr.) and Helen Pfister, Coffeyville; one brother, Jack P. (Jr.) "Hook" Pfister, Coffeyville; one sister, Connie Lee, Coffeyville; three nephews; two nieces, and one great-niece.
Mrs. Booth has been cremated. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, October 27, at Holy Name Catholic Church with burial of her ashes in Calvary Cemetery. A Rosary service will be held Friday, 7 p.m., at Holy Name Catholic Church. The family will meet at the home of sister, Connie Lee, 102 North Elm, Coffeyville. The family would welcome memorials to Holy Name Catholic School.

VEA VALETTE 'VICKY' BRADLEY
EUCHA, Okla. - Vea Valette "Vicky" Bradley, age 63, of Eucha, passed away Friday, September 14, 2001 in her home following a long, courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Bradle, was born in Disney, Okla., October 15, 1937.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bradley were conducted September 18 at the Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery with Reverend Darmon Swift officiating. Interment followed in the cemeteryunder the direction of Garner's Jim Green Funeral Home, Pryor.
Vicky was born in the family home outside Disney on the river bottom road to Vinita, now part of Grand Lake. She was raised by her mother, Laura Bea Swift, and Kenneth Bacon. Because of Kenneth's work, the family moved several times between Oklahoma and California while Vicky was growing up. Accordingly, she attended schools in both states.
She married Coy Len "Bob" Bradley on May 9, 1956 in Reno, Nev. Vicky attended Topsy Assembly of God Church. As a homemaker, she enjoyed growing plants, canning, music, craft work, reading, flea markets, quilting and soap operas. When her children were small, she often sewed many of their clothes. She was talented in making crochet pieces and holiday decorations. Vicky enjoyed cooking and could "fix a meal out of anything."
Mrs. Bradley is survived by her husband, Bob; her children, Michael and Geneva Bradley, Idabel, Okla., Michelle and Ronnie Randolph, Rolf, Okla., Sandra and Harry Floyd, Adair, Gregory Bradley, Cleveland, Okla., Samuel and Serena Bradley, Eucha, and Michael and Tiffany Bradley, Rolf; grandchildren, Chasity, Daniel, Samantha, Tara, Sonya, Chance and Hunter; great granddaughter, Kelsee; brothers, Ted Bacon, Wayne Bacon, and Ronnie Bacon; sisters, Pat Cook, Janie Morrow and Sally Morgan, and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Laura Swift, the father who raised her, Kenneth Bacon, a son, Jeffery Wayne Bradley, and a brother, John Kenneth Bacon.

MICHAEL A. BREWER, D.O.
GROVE - Dr. Michael Andrew Brewer, 45, died Tuesday, October 23, 2001 in Freeman West Hospital in Joplin Mo., after a sudden illness. The son of Charles Lilburn Brewer and Juanita (Frieze) Brewer, he was born on October 17, 1956 in Alva, Okla. Michael married Louise Moery in 1974. To this union a son, Michael Todd Brewer, was born. He later married Kayla Lakin, D.O. in 1982. To this union two daughters, Elizabeth and Sarah Brewer, were born. He worked for the Noble Foundation in Ardmore from 1978-1979. Dr. Brewer practiced medicine in a family practice in Alva from 1983-1986 and in Hominy, Okla., from 1986-1990. Dr. Brewer graduated with a BS degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 1978 and Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery (D.O.) in 1982.
Surviving are: his mother, Juanita Brewer, Alva; three brothers, Dick Brewer, Midwest City, Okla., Charles Brewer, Beaumont, Texas, and Manie Brewer and wife, Sandra, Arcardia, Okla.; a granddaughter, Ciara Brewer, San Antonio, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Benny Brewer and Randy Brewer, and his father, Charles Lilburn Brewer, preceded him in death.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 25, in the United Methodist Church in Grove with Reverend Gerald Holden officiating. The burial will be on Saturday in Alva, Okla. Donations are suggested to the Christian Medical Clinic of Grand Lake, c/o Clara Mills, P.O. Box 451368, Grove, OK 74345. The services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral home in Grove.

WILLIAM KENNETH (RABBIT) BREWER
MIAMI, Okla. - William Kenneth (Rabbit) Brewer, 56, of Miami, Okla., died Monday, August 20, 2001 at Baptist Regional Health Center after an extended illness. Mr. Brewer was born November 6, 1944 in Childress, Texas to Ray and Mary Nell (Castleberry) Brewer. He has lived in the Miami and Wyandotte areas most of his life. His parents and a sister, Faye Brewer, preceded him in death. Mr. Brewer attended the First Assembly of God in Miami.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Melodye Brewer, of Chelsea, Okla.; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Steve Miller, of Springfield, Mo.; sister, Glenda Brewer of Republic, Mo.; two nephews, Michael Brewer of Miami, Okla., and Joe Brewer of Chelsea, Okla.; niece, Janey Brewer of Chelsea, Okla.; niece and nephew-in-law, Christy and Matt Miller of Republic, Mo., and great nieces and nephew, Kaitlyn, Michelle, and Cayden.
Graveside services will beheld at 10 a.m. Friday, August 24, in the Wyandotte Cemetery, Wyandotte, Okla. Pastor Cary Moore will officiate. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home, Miami. Memorials may be made to the Larry Jones Feed the Children Foundation in Oklahoma City.

CLARK BREWSTER
JAY, Okla. - Clark Brewster died Saturday, October 27, 2001 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was 87.
Mr. Brewster was one of eight children born February 15, 1914 to T.H. and Addie (Winningham) Brewster near Dennis, Okla. On September 22, 1934 Clark was united in marriage to Anna Lee Wilson. They had a long and happy marriage, celebrating their 67th anniversary last month. Clark lived in Delaware County most of his life. For a time, he took his family to the state of Washington where he worked as a guard for the Dupont Powder Co. during WWII. As soon as the war was over they returned to Delaware County. Clark and Anna Lee owned and operated Brewster's Laundry for 40 years. Clark loved to work in his garden and yard, and take care of his cattle and fish.
Survivors include: his wife, Anna Lee Wilson Brewster; four daughters, Pattie Jo Elliott and husband, Barry, Ft. Scott, Kan., Peggy Ann Liebhart and husband, Gerald, Union, Mo., Polly Sue Brown and husband, Ray, Wichita, Kan., and Brenda Forrest and husband George, Pryor, Okla.; one brother, Harvey Brewster and wife Faye, Afton, Okla.; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 30 at the Southside Church of Christ in Jay. Lynn Fisher, minister, to officiate with Steve Stenzel assisting. Interment will be at the Duffield Cemetery in Jay. Services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.

TWILA ADEAL BREWSTER
JAY, Okla. - Twila Brester, age 90, died Wednesday, July 4, 2001 in the Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, Okla. The daughter of John and Goldie (Clanton) Benigar, she was born on February 24, 1911 in Grove. Twila married John L. Brewster on June 23, 1932 in Jay, and he preceded her in death on June 27, 1991. She lived most of her life in the Whitewater area near Grove, moving to Jay for six years, then to Dewey, Okla. for four years. She attended the Grove Church of Christ and The Southside Church of Christ in Jay, later attending the Nowata Church of Christ.
Surviving are: five children, Betty Lakey and husband, Vernon, of Bartlesville, Tom Brewster and wife, Linda, of Ramona, Howard Brewster and wife, Carol, of Warsaw, Mo., Larry Brewster and wife, Judy, of Morland, Wyo., and Garry Brewster and wife, Kay, of Jay; a sister, Arlie Lane of Oakley, Calif.; 19 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, in the Southside Church of Christ in Jay with Steve Stencil and Bill Richardson officiating. The interment will be in the Buzzard Cemetery. The services are under the directions of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.

MILDRED BEATRICE BRICKEY
LEACH, Okla. - Funeral services for Mildred Beatrice Brickey, 90, of Leach, Okla., were held Tuesday, October 30, 2001 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist of Leach. Burial followed in the Elm Prairie Cemetery in Leach. The Rev. Utah Humphrey officiated.
Mrs. Brickey was born October 20, 1911 in Columbus, Kan., and died October 28 in Siloam Springs, Ark.
She was the daughter of Charles Arthur and Bertha Mae (Fiscus) Westfall. She grew up in Spade Holler, a settlement near Leach. She attended schools in Salina, Oklahoma and the IXL School. After finishing school she worked on her family's farm until she married John Brickey on October 24, 1933. Mildred worked as a homemaker for her husband and children. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing needlecraft, quilting, gardening, canning and being with her family, especially on holidays. She loved the Lord and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leach.
Survivors include: four sons, Thomas Lee Brickey and wife, Ruth, of Salina, John Bill Brickey and wife, Pricilla, of Leach, Arthur Dewayne Brickey and wife, Shirley, of Spiro, and Melvin Young Brickey and wife, Deborah, of Leach; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Her husband, John, her parents, one brother, Homer Westfall, and four grandchildren preceded her in death.

GENE E. BRIDGEMAN
MIAMI, Okla. - Gene E. Bridgeman died at 9:47 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at his home after a long illness. He was 78. Bridgeman was born April 2, 1923 at Vinita, Okla., to Dan and Edna (Clanton) Bridgeman and moved to Miami 50 years ago from Vinita. He was a graduate of the Vinita High School and retired from the B.F. Goodrich Plant. He had worked in the Final Finish Department. He was a Navy veteran where he was a Pharmacist Mate Second Class. He married Nellie Pinckney in Independence, Kan.
Survivors include: his wife, Nellie; two sons, James A. Bridgeman, and Jimmy Bridgeman, both of Miami; two brothers, James Bridgeman, Baltimore, Md., and Howard Bridgeman, Jay, Okla. He was preceded in death by two sisters and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 16, at the Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald L. Baser officiating. Burial will follow in the G.A.R. Cemetery under the direction of the Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home of Miami. The family will receive friends at the funeral home chapel Thursday evening from 7 until 8 p.m.

JANEY BRIXEY
GROVE - Janey R. Brixey, age 82, died Monday, December 31, 2001 in the Grand Lake Villa. The daughter of William and Nancy (Morrison) Bartmess, she was born on May 1, 1919 in Kenwood, Okla. She married Thomas Murl Brixey on August 20, 1942 in Jay, Okla. Murl preceded in death on April 6, 1986.
Survivors include: three sisters, Francis Wagoner, Easter Warren, and Nancy Strait, all of Tulsa Okla., and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. at the graveside in the Zena Cemetery on Friday, January 4, with Rev. Dolphus Blevins. The services are under the directions of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.

WALTER L. BRIXEY
ZENA, Okla. - Walter L. Brixey, 78, died December 25, 2001 at the Betty Ann Nursing Home, Grove.
Walter Brixey was born on December 10, 1923 in Dennis, Okla., to Gene and Lena (Smith) Brixey. He attended school in Oak Grove and Grove. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. Mr. Brixey married Lela Keeter in Jay, Okla., on January 18, 1946. He was self-employed as a dairy farmer most of his life. He had been a member and deacon of Zena Baptist Church since 1958. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and horseshoes.
Survivors include: his wife, Lela Brixey, Zena; two sons, Andy and Jerry Brixey, both of Zena; three daughters, Cathy Jackson, Grove, Betty Tyndall, Oregon, and Sandra Kay Carnell, Kansas, Okla.;11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, one brother, Ray Brixey, one sister, Wilma Wyatt, and one grandson, Steven Brixey.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 28, at the Zena Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Duree and Rev. Larry Jackson officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 27, at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.

EARL W. BROWN
JAY, Okla. - Earl W. Brown, 77, of Jay, Okla., near rural Southwest City, Mo., died on Friday, July 13, 2001 at 9:15 a.m. at his home after a lengthy illness. Mr. Brown was born on July 10, 1924 in Valley Center, Kan., to the late Earl J. and Nora Marie (McArther) Brown. He grew up there and attended public schools. During WWII, Earl served as a first scout with the 29th Infantry Division, one of the first units at the Normandy Invasion on Omah Beach in France. After being wounded twice, he was returned to the Winter General Hospital in Topeka, Kan., for a six-month recovery. He was decorated with the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star before being discharged in March of 1945. While in Kansas, Earl and Rosalea Frye were united in marriage on December 22, 1944. He worked as a truck driver for Allen Construction, later as an electronic supervisor at Beech Aircraft, and supervisor of building construction in Wichita, Kan., before he and Rosalea returned to Southwest City, where they farmed until their retirement. He was a skilled wood craftsman and enjoyed sharing his crafts. Earl was a giving person and was always willing to help others. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Jay, the American Legion #553 of Southwest City, and was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 19 of Grove.
Earl is survived by his wife, Rosalea, of 56 years; a brother-in-law, Glenn Clark of Wichita, Kan.; three sisters-in-law, Stella Brown and Lenora McDaniel, both of Southwest City, and Eutha Vincent of Roseville, Calif.; nephews, Donald Brown of Rural Southwest City, George Evans of Wichita, Kan., Raymond McDaniel of Stella, Mo., and Mike Prye of Sacramento, Calif.; nieces, Virgina Woodard, Sharon Fisher, Christine Peterson, Connie Shepherd, Olla Mae Cameron and Mary Lea, Viola Moore, all of Wichita, Kan., Wilma Clark of Southwest City, widow of William Clark, Naomi Cartwright, of Anderson, Mo., Tami Motsambenbother and Andra Noonan, of Sacramento, Calif., and Brenda Hathcoar, of Fort Gibson, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl J. and Marie; one brother, Harry; two sisters, Viola Evans and June Carpenter; and his special buddy, Rags.
Funeral services for Mr. Earl W. Brown were held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 16, at the Southwest City First Baptist Church. Reverend Dennis Ray and Reverend Ray Clanton officiated. Burial was in the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City.
Pallbearers were Donald Brown, Daniel Brown, Raymond McDaniel, Dustin Brown, Joe Hathcoat, Jason Hathcoat and Shane Clark. Honorary Pallbearers were Paul Brandon, Arlo Wells, Don Donnell, Jim Lane and Jim Frye.
Memorial contributions can be given to the Southwest City Fire Department in care of the funeral home.
