MILLARD ALLENSWORTH
GROVE - Funeral services for Millard Allensworth, 60, of Grove, will be held Monday, Aug. 26, 2002 in the sanctuary of Craig County Baptist Church with Rev. Claud Strong officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita under the direction of Lugenbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
Mr. Allensworth was born May 27, 1942 in the Bunker Hill Community to Kenneth and Mary (Foster) Allensworth.
He was an auto mechanic and member of the Bunker Hill Baptist Church. He participated in a bowling league in Miami and had a passion for oldies music and Tradeo. His hobbies included woodworking, working on cars, and visiting with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and a granddaughter, Dana Allensworth.
Survivors include: his mother of Tulsa; two sons, Kevin Allensworth and his wife, Charlene, and Anthony "Tony" Allensworth, both of Vinita; a daughter, Tammy Huff and her husband, Shannon, of Van Buren Ark.; four grandchildren, Bianca Allensworth, Amber Huff, Michael Huff and Timothy Huff; two brothers, Kenneth "Bud" Allensworth and his wife, Lois, of Tulsa, and David Allensworth and his wife, Mary, of Prue; and a sister, Viola Taylor and her husband , Sam, of Owasso.

ETHEL LOUISE ALLMON
GROVE - Ethel Louise Allmon passed away August 9, 2002 at the Grove Nursing Center, at the age of 101. She was born February 24, 1907 in Welch, Okla.
A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, at the First Christian Church, Grove, with officiating Rev. Randel Coffin. Burial will be at Parsons, Kan., under the direction of Turner Funeral Chapel, Grove.

JACKIE LYNN ALLRED
AFTON, Okla. - Jackie Lynn Allred, age 44, of rural Afton, died Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at his home after a sudden illness. Mr. Allred was born July 9, 1957 in Norman, Okla., to Mack and Reba (Haynes) Allred. He has lived in the Afton area for the past five years, moving here from Oklahoma City, Okla. Mr. Allred was an automobile rebuilder and welder and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: his parents, Mack and Reba Allred, of rural Afton; a brother, Bryan Allred of rural Afton; a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Vickie Allred, of Oklahoma City; and a nephew, Gary Allred, of Oklahoma City.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 9, in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Afton. Funeral arrangements are under the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home in Afton.

SHAWNRA GAY ALSBURY
PICHER, Okla. - Shawnra Gay Alsbury, of Picher, died at 12:34 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at the Integris Baptist Regional Health Center after an illness. She was 37.
Shawnra was born December 24, 1964, in Miami, Okla., to Ferrell Lee and Jacqueline Sue (Moore) Alsbury. She attended school in Picher and Grove, graduating from Grove High School in 1983. She later attended NEO, majoring in accounting. She attended Douthit Free Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Dexter Lee Alsbury, of Picher; two sisters, Sheila Kay Green of Quapaw, and Nerissa Dawn Quiroz of Fairland; two brothers, Ferrell Lee Alsbury, Jr., of Afton, and Marlon Keith Alsbury of Quapaw; paternal grandmother, Ella Lorene Alsbury of Picher; five nephews; four nieces, and one great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Noel K. Alsbury, and maternal grandparents, Jack Waldron and Wilma Veletta Moore.
Visitation will be held at Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home in Miami on Thursday, July 11, from 7 until 8 p.m. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, at Hickory Grove Cemetery, southeast of Fairland, with Darrell Alsbury officiating.
Pallbearers will b Derek Wayne Reed, Joshua Keith Alsbury, Duane Keith Alsbury, Gary Eugene Alsbury, Kenneth Kade Elmore, and Bobbie Joe Stanley. Ryan Ray Richards and Christopher Curtis Richardson will serve as honorary pallbearers.

BILLIE CHARLES AMES
JAY, Okla. - Billie Charles Ames, age 61, was found dead near Jay on Thursday, January 10, 2002. The son of Charley and Mary (Chrisman) Ames, he was born May 11, 1940 in Claremore, Okla.
He had been living with his sister in Sapulpa, Okla.
Survivors include: his mother, Mary Keller of Pineville, Mo.; a brother, John Ames of Jane, Mo.; three sisters, Minerva Lou Huff of Sapulpa, Gladys Husong of Jay, and Pauline Johnson of Jay.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, in the Worley-Luginbuel Chapel in Jay. The interment was in the Indianola Cemetery. The services were under the directions of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.

EVELYN MARIE ANDERSON
MIAMI, Okla. - Evelyn Marie Anderson of Miami died at 4:50 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2002 at Osborne Care and Rehab., Miami, after a short illness. She was 84.
She was born April 14, 1918 in Commerce, Okla., to Harley and Natalia (Grace) Phelps. She attended school in Commerce. She later worked as a Nurse's Aide at Miami Nursing Center. She was a life-long Commerce and Miami area resident.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by: her three sons, Raymond Gerald Anderson and wife, Marilyn, of Grove, Ronnie J. Anderson, of Tulsa, and Michael L. Anderson and wife, Martha, of Miami; five grandchildren, Karen Denise Davis and husband, John, of Patterson, La., Rene Davis of St. Petersburg, Fla., Patricia Mitchell and husband, Kenneth, of Columbus, Kan., Aaron Anderson of Miami, and Austin Anderson and wife, Audrey, of Chouteau, Okla.; eight great-grandchildren; one nephew, Freddie Jack Phelps and wife, Helen, of Aurora, Colo.; and one niece, Sharon Manning and husband, Jack, of Fairland, Okla.
Visitation was held Sunday, October 27, at Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home in Miami. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 28, at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami.

JAMES EUGENE 'JIM' ANDREWS
MIAMI, Okla. - James Eugene (Jim) Andrews, 51, of Miami, Okla., died Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo., after an illness.
Mr. Andrews was born February 17, 1951 in Texas to Ben and Navene (Walker) Andrews. He has lived in the Miami area all his life.
Mr. Andrews was a long-time employee of B&M Motors where he worked as a two truck driver, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miami.
Jim had three children born to he and Deborah Jean Cochran during their marriage of 18 years.
Survivors include: a special friend, Shelia J. Childers, of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Jennifer Andrews of Miami, and Mike and Kellee Andrews, of Miami; daughters, LaTisha Andrews of Miami, and Stephanie Elkins of Clarkston, Minn.; a sister, Judy Johnson, of Miami; and 10 grandchildren, Michael D. Andrews, Heather N. Elkins, Tarrah L. Mitchell, Ariann D. Andrews, Kayla Elkins, Lakinzi J. Andrews, Cody J. Andrews, Chandler D. Connell, Justin L. Elkins, and Tyler J. Andrews.
Funeral mass will be recited at 10 a.m. Monday, November 4, at the Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart in Miami. Father Gregg Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in the Ottawa Indian Cemetery southeast of Miami, under the direction of the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home, Miami.
Prayer vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home, Miami.

JUNIOR RAY ANDREWS
Junior Ray Andrews, age 62, passed away at his home Saturday, April 18, 2002. He was born October 10, 1939 at Bristow, Okla., to Bill Andrews and Florene Slate. Junior worked in construction most of his life, and met and married Jeanie Tacker in October 13, 1967.
Survivors include: his wife, Jeanie, of the home; Shelia and husband, Troy, of Decatur, Ark., Jimmy Ray Andrews of Maysville, Ark., Donnie Andrews of Hominy, Okla., Gina Andrews of Jay, Travis Andrews of Decatur, Mike Colvard of Jay, Charles Britton of Siloam Springs, Ark; and 11 grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 22, at Tucks Chapel Cemetery in Rogers, Ark.

NORMA JEAN ANDREWS
COLCORD, Okla. - Norma Jean Andrews, age 47, of Colcord, died Monday, February 18, 2002 at her home. Born May 11, 1954 in Yakima, Wash., she was the daughter of Leo Gardenhire and Ruth Casey Gardenhire. A former resident of Westville, Okla., Norma had lived in the northeast Oklahoma area for the past 29 years. She was a retired line worker for Petersons Poultry.
Survivors include: her husband, Carl, of the home; two sons, Michael Martin of Tulsa, Okla., and Carl Andrews of the home; one daughter, Christina Andrews of Gravette, Ark.; three brothers, Leo Gardenhire, Jr. of Yakima, Steven Ray Gardenhire of Olathe, Kan., and Gary Wayne Gardenhire of Yakima; one sister, Rosie Stephens of Siloam Springs, Ark.; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, February 22, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, with Brother Luke Church officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, Okla. Services are under the direction of the Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

NORMA E. ANSTAETT
AFTON, Okla. - Graveside services for Norma E. Anstaett, 81, of Afton, will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Afton, under the direction of Adcock Funeral Home of Afton with Rev. Jim Drake officiating.
Mrs. Anstaett was born Aug. 5, 1920 in Baxter Springs, Kan., to Claude Aca and Virginia Boucher, and died Monday, June 24, at the Northeast Oklahoma Health Care Center in Miami, Okla.
She married James J. Wilhoit and then later married Ralph E. Anstaett. They both preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and had lived in Afton since 1969, moving from Topeka, Kan.
She is survived by a son, James E. Wilhoit and his wife, Carolyn, of Overland Park, Kan.; two daughters, Mary A. Wilhoit of Carl Junction, Mo., and Judy I. Bohannon and her husband, Larry, of Afton; 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia L. Day.

KATHERYN MARIE ARTZ
GROVE - Katheryn Marie Artz, age 78, met her Lord Saturday evening, January 12, 2002 at the Grove Nursing Center. Katheryn was born in Cherryvale, Kan., to John Lawson and Marie Lawson Corbin in January 1923. Katheryn attended school at Cherryvale and later married Doyle White in 1940, they had four children, Ronnie, Steve, Dennis, and Kevin White. Katheryn worked at the Grove School until 1979 and later worked at the Grove Hospital and also volunteered as a Cherry Red. Katheryn's husband, Doyle, passed away and she later married Charles Artz and lived in Grove until his death in 1997. Katheryn is preceded in death by her husbands, Doyle White and Charles Artz, and one son Ronnie White.
Survivors include: three sons, Steve, Dennis, and Kevin White; and one step-daughter, Charlene Curran.
Graveside services will be at the IOOF Cemetery at Neosho, Mo., Tuesday, January 15, at 11 a.m. under the direction of Turner Funeral Chapel, Grove.

LADONNA ELIZABETH ASHER
KANSAS, Okla. - Ladonna Elizabeth Asher, 31-year-old resident of Kansas, Okla., died Friday, March 1, 2002 in Adair County, Okla. Born December 17, 1970 in Claremore, Okla., she was the daughter of Winston Leon Rowe and Glenda Bledsoe Rowe. She had been a resident of the Kansas and Oaks, Okla., areas most of her lifetime. Mrs. Asher was a housekeeper at the Stone Motel.
Survivors include: her husband, Greg Asher, of the home; one son, Cole Henry Asher of the home; her father, Winston Rowe, of Siloam Springs; her mother, Glenda Rowe, of Cincinnati, Ark.; two brothers, Curley Rowe of Chance, Okla., and Blue Rowe of Ft. Hood, Texas; her paternal grandfather, Glen Bledsoe of Langley, Okla.; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Catalia, and her brother, Justin.
Funeral services are scheduled tentatively at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at Wasson Chapel with Bro. Jim Beavers officiating. Burial will be in Wickliffe Cemetery with funeral services under the direction of the Wasson Funeral Home.
