FREDRICK ELI TECUMSEH BUCK
Funeral services for Fredrick Eli Tecumseh Buck will be held Saturday, February 16, 2002 at 10 a.m. in the Steeley Baptist Church in Kenwood. Burial will follow in the Steeley Cemetery.
He was born January 16, 2002 in Tulsa, Okla., and died February 13, 2002 in Tulsa.
Fredrick was the son of Josephine Pratt and George Buck of Tulsa. He was in our life for just awhile, but how he touched each person that came to know him.
Survivors include: his mother, Josephine Pratt of Tulsa; his father, George Buck of Tulsa; maternal grandfather, Michael Pratt of Tulsa; paternal grandparents, Henry James Buck of Tulsa, and Virginia Grijalva of Kansas, Okla.

WALLACE A. BUCK
PARSONS, Kan. - Wallace A. Buck, 89, of Parsons, died at 9:15, Friday, November 22, 2002, at the Good Samaritan Center.
He was born August 16, 1913 in Rose Hill, Kan., a son of William Buck and Mable (Schauper) Buck. He grew up and attended schools in Derby. After graduating from high school in Derby, he farmed in the area for several years. In 1941, he moved to Mont Ida, Kan., where he farmed until moving to Parsons in 1969. He was employed at the Kansas Army Ammunitions Plant for nine years , retiring in 1978.
He and Wilma I. Broomhall were married May 2, 1943 in Mont Ida. She survives of the home.
Mr. Buck was a member of the Westside Christian Church in Parsons. He enjoyed farming and church.
Survivors include: wife, Wilma I. Buck of the home; and two sisters, Eilene Funk of Grove, Okla., Margaret Naylor of Sacramento, Calif. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Buck and Carol Holmes.
Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the Forbes Hoffman Funeral Home, with John Newell officiating. Committal services were held at 3 p.m., Monday, at the Mont Ida Cemetery near Garnett, Kan. The family received friends at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m., Sunday.
Memorials are suggested to the Good Samaritan Center. Those may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, 405 Main, Parsons, Kan.

ONA DIANE BUFFINGTON
WATTS, Okla. - Ona Diane Buffington, 30-year-old resident of Watts, Okla., died Friday, March 1, 2002 in Adair County, Okla. Born February 13, 1972 in Wichita, Kan., she was the daughter of Winston Leon Rowe and Glenda Bledsoe Rowe. She had been a resident of the Kansas and Oaks, Okla., area most of her lifetime. Mrs. Buffington was a housekeeper at the Stone Motel.
Survivors include: her husband, Michael Buffington, of the home; two sons, Tyler Atchley of Westville, Okla., and Levi Buffington of the home; two daughters, Lindsey Rowe Blackfox of the home; and Tristin Winningham of the home; her father, Winston Rowe of Siloam Springs; her mother, Glenda Rowe, of Cincinnati, Ark.; two brothers, Curley Rowe of Chance, Okla., and Blue Rowe of Ft. Hood, Texas; her paternal grandfather, Glen Bledsoe of Langley, Okla.; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Catalia, and her brother, Justin.
Funeral services are scheduled tentatively at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at Wasson Chapel with Bro. Jim Beavers officiating. Burial will be in Wickliffe Cemetery with funeral services under the direction of the Wasson Funeral Home.

DOROTHY EVELYN BUICK
KERRVILLE, Texas - Dorothy Evelyn Buick, formerly of Grove, died Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at her home in Kerrville, Texas. She was 90.
Mrs. Buick was born February 21, 1912 to Albert and Mabel (Porter) Whitmore at Ottawa, Kan. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Grove. She married Herbert R. Buick September 2, 1933, at Ottawa, Kan. He preceded her in death in 1965. One daughter, Marilynn Moore also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: her granddaughter, Michelle Moore of Berkley, Calif.; grandson, Michael Moore of Seattle, Wash.; and great-grandson, Keenan Moore.
Services will be held at 5 p.m., Sunday, September 1, 2002, at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Rev. Randy Hamill is to officiate. Interment will follow at the Olympus Cemetery in Grove.

LUCILLE MARIE BULLEN
GROVE - Lucille Bullen, age 78, of Grove, died Tuesday, October 15, 2002 in the Grove Nursing Center. The daughter of Frank and Lucille M. (Luabreque) Gravel, she was born on November 16, 1923 in Chicago, Ill. She married Lee Bullen and they made their home in Chicago until 1980. In the mid 1980's they moved to Grove. Lucille was a member of the St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Chicago. Her husband, Lee, preceded her in death on August 31, 1998.
Surviving are: three children, George Bullen and wife, Jackie, in Littleton, Colo., Judy Wroblewski and husband, Gene, in Justice, Ill., and Donald Bullen and wife, Vicki, in Grove; two sisters, Charlotte Vokurka in Wheaton, Ill., and Dorothy Edwards in Brentwood, Tenn.; and six grandchildren and 12 great granddaughters.
Family services are planned at a later date. The arrangements are under the directions of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.

CHARLES ARTHUR BULLOCK II
GROVE - Charles Arthur Bullock II, age 47, died Monday, February 18, 2002 at Grove Nursing Center after a lengthy illness. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 21, at the First United Methodist Church in Grove with Rev. Randy Hamill officiating. Burial will follow at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, at the Ellis Family Funeral Home.
Charles Arthur Bullock II was born on January 25, 1955 in Ft. Campbell, Ky., to Charles A. and Carolyn (Killough) Bullock, Sr. He attended Garfield High School in Woodbridge, Va. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Murray State University in Murray, Ky., and his Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Ill. Mr. Bullock worked as a Psychological Counselor at the Ozark Guidance Center in Fayetteville, Ark., and Memphis Recovery Centers in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Grove, Bob's Sunday School Class, and the National Association of Social Workers. His hobbies included photography and volunteer service.
Survivors include: his parents, Charles A. and Carolyn Bullock Sr., of Grove; two sons, Scott Allen Bullock and John Wesley Bullock, both of Jonesboro, Ark.; one daughter, Misty Marie Bullock of Little Rock, Ark.; three brothers, Dr. Wesley Allen Bullock and wife, Dr. Jennifer Simkins-Bullock, of Toledo, Ohio, William Anthony Bullock of Oklahoma City, Okla., and David Gene Bullock and wife, Laura, of Norton, London; and one sister, Dr. Mary Elizabeth Bullock-Rest and husband, Dr. Stanley Rest, of Fayetteville.
Services are entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home, 107 S. Broadway, in Grove.
Contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice of Grove or First United Methodist Church Music Memorial Fund in Grove.

ARGEL LEE BUNCH
GROVE - Argel Lee Bunch, 72, died Friday, July 27, 2002 at Grove General Hospital.
He was born on December 23, 1929 in Pineville, Mo., to Thomas Lee and Lori Pearl (Miller) Bunch. He retired as a 1st Sergeant in the U.S. Army after 23 years.
Mr. Bunch married Donna M. Taylor on June 25, 2002. He had lived in the Grove area for 13 years, moving from Goodman, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Donna M. Taylor Bunch, Grove; one daughter, Bonnie Jean Hutcheson, Anderson, Mo.; two sons, Robert Burnell Bunch, Neosho, Mo., and David Lee Bunch, Goodman. Also surviving are two brothers, one sister and six grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.

RON BURCHETT
GRAND LAKE - Ronald Denny Burchett, 61, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2002 following a prolonged, heroic battle with cancer.
A long-time Bartlesville resident, he was born on December 5, 1940 to Lumpkin and Azalee (Western) Burchett of Bartlesville. His parents worked seasonally harvesting crops in California, and Ron was born in transit in Phoenix, Ariz. His childhood home was on Rogers St. in Bartlesville, across from Lincoln School. Beginning at age 10, Ron sold newspapers every day through high school outside the Phillips Building in downtown Bartlesville.
He graduated from Bartlesville College High School in 1958 and attended the University of Arkansas. On June 26, 1960 he married his high school sweetheart, the former Sandy Sue Curtis, of Bartlesville and Nowata. In 1963 he began a 30+ year career with Phillips 66 in Bartlesville. Attending night school at Tulsa University while working full-time at Phillips and transferring his hours to Fayetteville, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas in 1968, the same year they moved into their long-time residence at 1820 Southview in Bartlesville.
Active in coaching his sons' little league and football teams, Ron and his family built a weekend home on Grand Lake that would eventually be their full-time home in 1986. For the last several years, he and his wife, Sandy, spent winters at their Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii residence.
He is survived by: his wife, Sandy; sons Jim Jon of Bartlesville and Lance of Maryville, Mo.; daughters-in-law Lisa and Sherry; 4 grandchildren, Maddie, Chase, Mason, and Halen; and 3 brothers Monthie Burchett of Bartlesville, Gene Burchett of Grand Lake, and Gary Nodine of Ft. Gibson.
All friends and family are invited to a casual attire memorial service at his home church, Cleora United Methodist Church, on Saturday, May 4, at 11 a.m., followed by lunch at the family home on Grand Lake.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be sent to the Ron Burchett Memorial Fund, Cleora United Methodist Church, 451154 East 295 Rd., Afton, OK 74331. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.

NANCY M. WARD BURRIS
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Graveside services for Nancy M. Ward Burris, 90, of Primrose Place, Springfield, Mo., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2002 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Ark.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Friday, June 28, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Mrs. Burris was born April 4, 1912 in Siloam Springs to Cora Freeman Ward and William M. Ward, and died Wednesday, June 26, at Primrose Place.
She was a homemaker and worked in retail sales for many years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Siloam Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. (Toad) Burris, her parents and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary E. Pope of Springfield, and Nancy Jo Burris of Little Rock, Ark.

THOMAS HENDRICK BURROUS
SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - Thomas Hendrick Burrous, 92, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died June 20, 2002 at the Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab Center. Born August 21, 1909 in Irvington, Ky., he was the son of Murray Elmer Burrous and Martha Lee Hardesty Burrous. Thomas lived most of his life in northeast Oklahoma. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of VFW Post 10596 of Kansas, Okla., and of Jesus Name Church of Watts, Okla. He was preceded in death by his companion of 20 years, Velma Kirby; four sisters, Mary Bowden, Anna Pack, Alice Gordon, Betty Joe B. Bailey; and one brother, Richard Burrous.
He is survived by one sister, June Roberts, of Alturas, Calif., and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 25. Arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.

GEORGE C. BUSTER
GROVE - George C. Buster, age 70, died Wednesday, February 6, 2002 in the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. The son of George Robert Buster and Maude McLaughlin Buster, he was born on April 6, 1931 in Bluejacket, Okla. George was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked in maintenance for Montgomery Ward's in Oklahoma City, Okla., until moving to Grove in 1984 where he worked in maintenance for Shangri-La Resort until present time. George married Pat Murray Barnhart on September 29, 1981.
Survivors include: his wife, Pat Buster, in the Butler Community near Grove; three children, Leon Duensing, Sherrie Abney, and Linda Wilson; three stepchildren, Lynn Milller and husband, Larry, Rae Wheeler and husband, Steve, Lisa Lloyd and husband, Doug; 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, in the Worley-Luginbuel Chapel. The interment will be in the Butler Cemetery. There will be a visitation for family and friends in the funeral home at 6 p.m. Friday. The services are under of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.

ARLIS BUTLER
FAIRLAND, Okla. - Arlis Butler, long-time resident of Fairland, died at 3:55 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami, Okla., after an illness. He was 80. He was born February 25, 1922, at Adair, Okla., to Monroe and Mable Philbeck Butler. He was a graduate of Fairland High School. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the US Army. He married Mable Louise Gale on December 17, 1945 in Augusta, Texas. She preceded him in death on November 13, 2001. He had moved to Fairland in 1952 from Augusta, Texas. He worked as a forklift operator for B.F. Goodrich for 36 years.
Survivors include: two sons, Raymond Butler of Fairland, and Bobby Joe Butler of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Deby Lynn Sherard and companion, Alan Campbell, of Bella Vista, Ark., and Tricia and husband, Calvin Jones, of Miami; two half-sisters, Lula Harding and Agnes Martin, both of Fairland; eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 16, at Adcock Funeral Chapel in Fairland. Pallbearers will be Marty Oakley, Gary Hill, Greg Cox, Jim Sherard, Larry Love, and Jim Love. Burial will follow at Sulphur Bend Cemetery, southeast of Fairland, with the Northeastern Oklahoma Veterans Funeral Detail performing military rites. Arrangements provided by Adcock Funeral Home in Fairland.
