BOBBY JOE HUDSON
JAY, Okla. - Bobby Joe Hudson was born on September 9, 1939 and went on to be with the Lord on May 31, 2002. He married his soul mate, Rose Marie Vaughn, on March 19, 1960, whom he is survived by.
Additional survivors include: his children, Jerri and Kurt Lane, Aaron and Sherry Hudson, Sharie and Richard Morrison, and Andy and LeAnn Hudson; grandchildren: J.W., Mike, Brittany, Jessie Nicole, Bobby Joe, Brooke, Samyul Lynn, Kristie, Seth, McKayley, and Erin Blair; and one great-grandson, Chandler Austyn. Through friendship, honorary family members were born: Doug Myers, J.J. Youngblood, Kelsy Jo Lane and Jade Lindly.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Grace Hudson; his brother, Lloyd; and his sister, Elveta. He leaves behind brothers, George Hudson of Blue Eye, Mo., and Alva Hudson of Reed Springs, Mo., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob lived his life for Rose and the kids, and Sunday get-togethers when the kids and grandkids would flood the house. They were honored to watch him be baptized in July 1995. He put them first and worked very hard to make their lives easier in any way he could. He loved his sons and daughters-in-law as though they were really his own.
Bob battled cancer twice and never complained or lost his sense of humor. He loved to build things and spent many hours of different projects for the kids. His biggest project was when he tackled building Andy and LeAnn a house. He finished their house last month and it is a memorial to his life.
Rose retired two years ago and they spent every minute of every day together since. His daughter, Jerri, was able to spend his last day with him and Bob was happy. He was surrounded by his family.
The funeral will be Tuesday, June 4, at 2 p.m. in the Mt. Hermon Church. The interment will be in the Eucha Cemetery. The services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. .

LELIA M. HUDSON
VINITA, Okla. - Lelia M. Hudson, lifetime area resident, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2002 at Craig General Hospital in Vinita. She was 94 years old.
Lelia was born October 3, 1908 four miles west of Big Cabin, Okla. Lelia was a licensed Food Supervisor for Autumn II, III and also worked at Edna Lee's Boarding home before retiring. She was a member of Rebeckah Lodge number 223.
Lelia was united in marriage to Earl Elwood Hudson on September 9, 1932 at Oswego, Kan., He preceded her in death on July 2,1962. Her parents, one brother, Jim Kincaid and one grandchild also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter, June Pitts and husband, J.C., Claremore, Okla.; four sons, Larry Hudson and Paul Hudson of Vinita, Johnny Hudson and wife, Sherry, of Claremore, Curtis Hudson and wife, Elizabeth, of Big Cabin; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, at the Burkhalter Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Roy Miller officiated. Interment was in Big Cabin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the charity of choice in honor of Lelia.
Services were under the direction of Burkhalter Funeral Home.

MICHELLE ELAINE HUEY
GROVE - Michelle Elaine Huey, age 17, was killed Thursday, January 10, 2002 in an accident. The daughter of Tony Huey and Rebecca (Ross) Kraft, she was born March 7, 1984 in Bartlesville, Okla. She moved with her family to the Grove area from Nowata, Okla., in 1998. In the Grove Schools she was a member of the I.D.F.Y., F.C.A., Heritage Club, and Grove Hospital Student Advisory Board. Michelle was in the Oklahoma Honor Society and Who's Who. She was a mat manager and the 2002 Homecoming Queen for the Grove Wrestling Team, and also a trainer for the Grove Football Team.
Survivors include: her parents, Tony Huey of Nowata, and Becky and Ed Kraft of Fairland; two brothers, Matthew Huey of Nowata, and Deacon Kraft of Fairland; a sister, Madyson Kraft of Fairland; paternal grandmother, Helen Huey of Nowata; maternal grandmother, Gladys Ross of Grove; a nephew, Brenton Huey of Nowata; five uncles; one aunt; one great uncle; several cousins, and many friends.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, in the Grove Civic Center. The interment will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 14 at the funeral home. The services are under the directions of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.

EVERETT MAX 'BILL' HUGHES
JAY, Okla. - Everett Max "Bill" Hughes of Jay, born July 27, 1929 in Delaware County near Jay, entered into rest Sunday, August 11, 2002 at the Grove General Hospital where he was well taken care of by the staff and loving family members during his short illness.
Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Avanell (Woods) Hughes. They were married on May 29, 1946, at Jay. They moved to Tulsa in the early 1950's where Bill started his business as a builder in new home construction. They returned to Jay in the 1960's where he continued his business until retirement.
He is also survived by two sons, Billy V. Hughes and Monty Max Hughes, both of Jay; one daughter, Vickie Sue Crowder, of Grove; two sisters, Bonnie Sue Herrington of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Anna Lou Sisson of Pampa, Texas; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Maggie and Everett Earl Hughes; one brother, Al Hughes; two sisters, Erma Greathouse and Jean Miller; and two grandchildren, Russell Crowder and Hayley Hughes.
Bill was an active member of the community and the Church of the Nazarene in Grove.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, at the Church of the Nazarene in Grove. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.

WILLIAM CLYDE (CLYDEAN) HULSEY
BIG CABIN, Okla. - Graveside services for William Clyde (Clydean) Hulsey, 63, of Big Cabin, will be held Friday, June 28, 2002 at 10 a.m. at GAR Cemetery in Miami, Okla. Military rites will be conducted by the NEO Veterans Funeral Detail.
Mr. Hulsey was born Feb. 12, 1939 in North Miami, Okla., to Clyde William and Bessie Helen (Chambers) Hulsey, and died Tuesday, June 25, at 6:45 a.m. at Mayes County Medical Center in Pryor, Okla.
He was a resident of the Big Cabin area for 20 years, moving from Tulsa, Okla. He graduated from Commerce High School in 1956, and was employed by American Airlines for over 30 years as an aircraft mechanic.
He married Diana Mae Bear on July 14, 1973 in Cleveland, Okla.
He was veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of the Transport Workers Union #514, and National Rifle Association and loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nine uncles.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Robert Duane Hulsey and Jamie Hulsey, both of Claremore, Okla.; a brother-in-law, Joseph Allen Dick Jr., of Ramona, Okla.; a brother, Marvin Duane Hulsey of Oxon Hill, Mass.; four aunts, Betty Ellison and Shirley Hiller, both of Grove, Anna Mae Farley of Salem, Ore., and Helen Thompson of Brawley, Calif.; and his step-mother, Winifred Hulsey of Imperial, Calif.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Okla.

MICHAEL 'MIKE' H. HUMES
GROVE - Mike Humes, age 36, died Wednesday, February 13, 2002 in the Grove General Hospital. The son of Mahlon and Leva Wilhelm Humes, he was born on August 27, 1965 in Welch, Okla. He graduated from Northeastern A&M in Miami and later from Northeastern University in Tahlequah, Okla. Mike ran the radio station KWMQ in Southwest City, Okla.
Survivors include: his father, Mahlon Humes of Grove; and a half sister, Linda Sue Inman of Laguna, Calif.
The funeral will be in the Independent Baptist Church on Saturday, February 16, at 10 a.m. The interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Mo. The services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.

MARIE CHEROKEE HUPMAN
GROVE - Graveside services for Marie Cherokee Hupman, 86, were held Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at Neosho Memorial Park in Neosho, Mo., under the direction of Turner Funeral Chapel of Grove.
Miss Hupman was born March 25, 1916 at Grove to George and Effie Williamson Hupman and died Friday, July 26, in Grove.
She graduated from Grove High School and later attended college in Joplin on a basketball scholarship and earned a degree in business.
She later moved to Kansas City and worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 35 years, retiring and moving back to the Grove area.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Grove.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters.

WILLIAM BRETT HURT
WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - William Brett Hurt, age 38, of West Hollywood, Calif., died at his home Monday, May 13, 2002.
Born August 21, 1963 in Siloam Springs, Ark., he was the son of Roy L. and Emma Jean Hendrickson Hurt. He was an administrative assistant with The Capital Group in Los Angeles, Calif.
Survivors include: his parents, Roy and Jean Hurt, of Colcord, Okla.; two brothers, Greg Hurt and wife, Janet, of Colcord, and Barry Hurt and wife, Becky, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; three nieces, Kelly McGhee of Decatur, Ark., Kimberly Hurt of Colcord, and Emily Hurt of Broken Arrow.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Row Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of the Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

LOYD JUSTIN HUSONG
JAY, Okla. - Loyd Justin Husong, age 26, died in his home in Jay. The son of Loyd R. and Gladys (Ames) Husong, he was born on August 24, 1975 in Gravette, Ark. Justin attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Jay. He worked for the Lock Weld Industries in Southwest City, Mo.
Survivors include: his parents, Loyd and Gladys Husong, of Jay; his grandmother, Mary Keller of Pineville, Mo.; many aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, in the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. The interment will be in the Indianola Cemetery. The services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.

DOLLY M. HUTCHENS
MIAMI, Okla. - Dolly M. Hutchens, of Miami, died at 3:40 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2002 at the Integris Baptist Regional Health Center after an illness. She was 75.
Hutchens was born May 22, 1927 at Fairview, Mo., to Audrey and Hazel (Swadley) Bunn. She graduated from the Fairview High School in 1945, and moved to Miami in 1970 from Bristow.
She was a professional beautician and seamstress. After retirement she was a caregiver for the late Clarence and Flora Plannett.
Mrs. Hutchens was a member of the First Baptist Church, Miami, and had a 36-year record of perfect attendance.
She married George L. Hutchens on June 27, 1948 at Fairview. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1998.
Survivors include a son, Rodney Hutchens, and his wife, Kim, Golden Valley, Minn., and two grandchildren, Justin Alan Hutchens and Jessica Joy Hutchens.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 15, at the Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Greg Bunn officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Creek Cemetery, Clear Creek, Mo. Burial will be under the direction of Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home of Miami.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Gideon's International and may be sent in care of the funeral home.

SUE A. ENNIS HUTCHINSON
LANGLEY, Okla. - Sue A. Ennis Hutchinson, age 53, died January 2, 2002. Sue was born August 24, 1948 to Junior B. McCelland of Chelsea, Okla., and Dora Alice Shrum of Greenforest, Ark. Sue attended school at Wichita, Kan., in 1982. She moved back to Mayes County from Hutchinson, Kan. Sue loved to go camping, dancing and play pool.
Survivors include: three sons, James Ray Ennis of Springdale, Ark., Morgan Bart Ennis of Pryor, Okla., and Tad Hornsby of Gravette, Ark.; two daughters, Tammie Sue Ennis of Pryor, and Teresa Ann Gordon of Gravette; three brothers, James Ray Moore and Paul Howard Moore, both of Pryor, and Larry June McCelland of Claremore, Okla.; two sisters, Shirley Buffet and Delores June Fuller of Langley; 15 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Wayne Moore, and a sister, Rosie Marie McCelland.
Memorial services will be held January 5 at 10 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Chapel, Langley. Interment will be at Enid Memorial P.K. Cemetery, Enid, Okla.
