ORIN DALE KECK
SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - Orin Dale Keck, age 77, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Thursday, April 4, 2002 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born September 14, 1914 in Pettigrew, Ark., he was the son of Daniel H. Keck and Chloe Haught Keck and lived most of his life in the Siloam Springs area. He was the retired owner/operator of Keck's Meat Processing Plant in Siloam Springs. He raised cattle and was a horse trainer. Mr. Keck was a member of Weddington Baptist Church for the past 45 years where he was music director and a Sunday School teacher for 35 years. He was a lifetime member, judge, and inspector for the Missouri Fox Trotter Association. He was a member of the Siloam Springs Riding Club, of Key Lodge #7 F. & A.M., and Scottish Rite Bodies.
Survivors include: his wife, Rheta, of the home; two sons, Randy Keck of Siloam Springs, and Brad Keck and wife, Kathy, of Cincinnati, Ohio; one daughter, Boneta Hollis and husband, Gary, of Bryant, Ark.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bearl Keck of Leveland, Texas, Dan Keck of Sitka, Alaska, and Simon Keck of Pettigrew; three sisters, Leota Keck of Pettigrew, Shirley Turner of Poteau, Okla., and Wand Petree of Harrisonville, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at Weddington Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Misenheimer, Dr. Jack Ramsey, and Rev. Leon Gregory officiating. Burial followed at Weddington Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Memorial contributions can be made to Weddington Baptist Children's Church.

EDITH P. KEENER
MIAMI, Okla. - Edith P. Keener, 90, of Miami, Okla., died Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at Baptist Regional Health Center after an illness.
Mrs. Keener was born January 23, 1912 in Bourbon, Crawford County, Mo., to John William and Letha Annie (Mason) Payne. She has lived in Miami for the past nine years, moving here from Sullivan, Mo.
Mrs. Keener worked for 17 years as a sales clerk for Carps Drygoods Store. She also worked at Wal-Mart. She attended the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Keener married Cecil William Keener January 2, 1969.
Survivors include: her husband, Cecil William Keener, of the home; two daughters, Mary Lee Downing of Commerce, Okla., and Dorothy Mae Rivet of Sullivan, Mo.; a son, Rev. George (Bill) Trask, of Trenton, Ga., 16 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
Two sisters, Goldie Williamson and Leona Woodcock, and one brother, Lester Payne, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 1, at the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home in Commerce. Rev. George Trask and Rev. Phillip Trask will officiate. Burial will be in the G.A.R. Cemetery under the direction of the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home, Commerce.
The family will receive friends from noon until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Regency Hospice Program.

RUSSELL KEENER
DELAWARE COUNTY - Russell Keener, age 75, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla. The son of Heavy and Chiccowie (Chester) Keener, he was born in Delaware County on November 9, 1926. Russell worked at the Smith Out Post from 1970 to 1980 and later as a grounds keeper for Phil Hughs at Grand Point on Grand Lake. A daughter, Karen, preceded him in death. He is a member of the Cherokee Nation.
Survivors include: four children, Ellis Owens of Pawhuska, Okla., Maudie Ann Taylor of Trenton, Tenn., Russell Keener, Jr. of Richman, Va., and Mary Kate Dauber of Pawhuska; two brothers, Scott Keener of Miami, Okla., and Ben Keener of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Jo Ann Baker of Fairland, Okla.; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 19, in the Worley-Luginbuel Chapel. Interment will be in the Jumper Cemetery. The services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.

AUDRA KEITH
GRAVETTE, Ark. - Mrs. Audra Keith, 95, of Maysville, Ark., died Monday, August 26, 2002 at 4 a.m. at Gravette Medical Center in Gravette, after an illness.
Audra Keith was born on December 12, 1906, at Weddington, Ark., to the late Albert and Ema Ardella (Johnson) Smith. She had lived in Cincinnatti, Ark., until the age of 14 when she and her family moved to Maysville by horse-drawn wagon. She lived in Maysville for the rest of her life. She was a member of the Maysville Bible Church in Maysville. She was a farmer's wife and her husband was related to the founder of the town of Maysville. Her husband was also a grandson of the first recorded white child birth in Benton County. She worked at the Maysville IGA for 23 years.
She married Hugh Keith on April 22, 1924 in Pineville, Mo. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jim Keith, on December 11, 1996.
Survivors include: three grandsons, James Michael Keith and wife, Cathy, of Tulsa, Okla., Danny Hugh Keith of Maysville, and Randy Douglas Keith and wife, Crystal, of Sulphur Springs, Ark.; a great-grandson, James Daniel Keith; and a great-granddaughter, Haleigh Justine Keith.
Graveside services for Audra Keith were held on Tuesday, August 27, at 2 p.m. at the Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, Ark.

JOSEPH LYNN KEITH
WEST FORK, Ark. - Joseph Lynn Keith, age 44, of West Fork died Tuesday, January 22, 2002 in Prairie Grove, Ark. The son of Jasper Keith and Josephine Sosa Keith, he was born on October 23, 1957 in Plain View, Texas. Joe married Easter Ackley on June 13, 1988. He served in the U.S. Marines and worked in construction for his brother in Edward Keith Construction and later in the Leroy Taylor Building. He was a member of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include: his wife, Easter Keith; his father, Jasper Keith; his mother, Josephine Sosa; a son, Martin Lynn Keith; four brothers, Edward, Jerry, Jimmy and Raymond; and four sisters, Arlene, Patty, Deloris, and Dora.
The graveside funeral were at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 25, in the Ward Cemetery near Maysville, Ark. The Grove Veterans Ritual performed veterans rites. The services were under the directions of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Okla.

LEXA RUTH KEITH
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Services for Lexa Ruth Keith, age 85, of Tahlequah, will be held 10 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2002 at Hart Funeral Home Chapel in Stilwell, Okla., with Rev. Utah Humphrey officiating. Burial will be in Stilwell City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Born August 25, 1917 in Adair County, Lexa was the daughter of Artie and Addie Elvington Shipman. She died October 7 in Tahlequah, after reaching the age of 85 years, one month and 12 days.
Lexa married Perry William Keith on October 2, 1937 in Stilwell. In 1956, she and her family moved to Denver, Colo., during this time she was a cook at Walgreen's and St. Elizabeth's Retreat.
After she and Perry retired in 1975, they moved to Stamford, Neb. They lived there until June of 1985, when they moved to Rose, Okla.
Lexa joined Bidding Creek Baptist Church in 1953. In Denver, she joined the Alameda Hills Baptist Church, where she served as the Nursery Administrator. After moving to Nebraska, Oxford Baptist Church was her home. In Rose, she attended Leach Baptist Church and finally, in Tahlequah, she was a member of the Park Hill Baptist Church. Her retirement years were spent as a loving mother and grandmother, sharing her love of cooking, gardening, quilting and raising beautiful roses. Lexa served as a volunteer under the grandmother program at Leach and Oaks schools. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Those preceding her in death: her husband, Perry Keith; her parents; three sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include: five children, Perry Gene Keith of Tahlequah, Peggy and husband, Dean Bergen, of Springfield, Ore., Eddie Keith and wife, Shirley, of Adair, Okla., Randy Joe Keith and wife, Judy, of Indianola, Neb., and Sue Rosander and husband, Jeff, of Lakewood, Colo.; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Jo Shipman of Park Hill, Okla.; sister and brother-in-law, Tommie and Kenneth Wright of Lubbock, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Jo and Ray Henslee of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; sister-in-law and husband, Kathryn and Bob Kelly, of Grove; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
Those wishing to extend an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Leach Baptist Church.

ALVIN CURTIS KELLER, SR.
VINITA, Okla. - Alvin Curtis Keller, Sr., 92-year-old longtime Vinita resident, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.
Alvin was born January 18, 1920 in Stillwater, Okla., to Alvin Christian Keller and Lydia (Willhite) Keller. Alvin served in the United States Air Corps as a Sergeant during World War II. He worked as a diesel Mechanic for Peabody Coal retiring in 1986 after 35 years of service. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.
Alvin was united in marriage to Ardola Pauline Groover on July 30, 1949 at Ft. Smith, Ark. They moved to the Vinita area in 1968.
Surviving family members include: his wife, Ardola Pauline Keller, of the home; two daughters, Pauline Suzie Helm and husband, Jack, of Evergreen, Colo., and Sharon Ann Satterwhite and husband, Larry, of Langley, Okla.; two sons, Alvin Curtis Keller, Jr., of Vinita, and Larry Dean Keller of Tulsa, Okla.; four brothers, Rev. Jim Keller of Skiatook, Jack Keller of Henryetta, Okla., Muriel Keller of Buffalo, Minn., and Hershel Keller of Palametto, Fla.; one grandchild, Alisa Dawn (Satterwhite) Yancey and husband, Jacob John Yancey, III; two great grandchildren, Jacob John Yancey IV and Hunter Kane Yancey, both of Langley.
His parents, two sisters, and one brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 4, at the Trinity Baptist Church. Rev.'s David Keller and Will Busch will officiate. Interment will be in Ketchum Cemetery.
Graveside Military Rites will be performed by the Grove Veterans Ritual Team.
Services are under the direction of Burckhalter Funeral Home.

JULIA MAE 'WILLIS' KELLY
JENNINGS, Okla. - Funeral services for Julia Mae 'Willis' Kelly age 90 of Jennings, Okla. and longtime resident of Kansas, Okla. were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6 in the Oak Hill Church of Keystone Lake near Mannford, Okla. Rev. Herrel Jones officiated and burial followed in the Kansas Cemetery in Kansas, Okla. with services under the direction of the Key Funeral Home of Pryor. Mrs. Kelly was born on July 22, 1911 in Peggs, Okla. She died on June 28, 2002 in Drumwright, Okla. The daughter of Neal and Elizabeth 'Martin' Willis, she grew up and attended school in Peggs, Okla., she was married to George F. Kelley on Oct. 15, 1927 in Peggs. she and her husband lived most of there married life in Kansas. Julia was a homemaker and mother to 13 children. She loved going to church and serving God. Julia did not just tell her children and others the importance of having Christ in one's life, but lived by example. Her final reminder was "I love you more than you will ever know, so don't be sad. I'm in Gods hands now." After the death of her husband in 1976 Julia made her home with her children. She loved having her loved ones near her. She enjoyed fishing, but her biggest enjoyment came from serving Christ.
She is survived by her children, Maxine and Bill Mooney of Jennings, Okla.; Pauline and John McDaniel of Pawhuska, Okla.; Roy and Doris Kelley of Sand Springs, Okla.; Leonard and Alice Kelley of Neenah, Wis.; Fay and Bob Diekman of Herrington, Kan.; Clifton and Mary Kelley of Chouteau, Okla.; Ann and Leroy Snyder of Glenfora, Wis.; Linda and Lynn Suggs of Ponca City, Okla.; Carolyn and Jim Fisher of Norman, Okla.; Phillip Kelley of Newkirk, Okla.; Judy and Steve Kawalkaski of Winneconne, Wis.; 42 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George F. in 1976; one daughter, Lila Kelley; one son, Tommy Kelley; two brothers; five sisters and her parents.

L. EVELYN KERR
GRAND LAKE - L. Evelyn Kerr, 77-year-old Grand Lake area resident, passed away Monday, March 18, 2002 at her home.
She was born August 20, 1924 to Lee and Mildred (Edwards) Oliver in Bartlesville, Okla.
Evelyn married James D. Kerr August 20, 1941 in Bartlesville. They moved to the Grand Lake area from Bartlesville in 1974. He preceded her in death September 13, 1999.
Survivors include: four children, Karen Sue Bailey and husband, Rick, of Langley, Okla., Phyllis Moore Martin and husband, J.R., of Escondido, Calif., James DeWayne Kerr and wife, Karen, of Bartlesville, and Darrell Kerr and wife, Anna, of Frankfurt, Ind.; a sister, Lenora Lawler of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Donald Oliver of Newport, N.J., and Melvin Oliver and wife, Janice, of Dewar, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Burckhalter Memorial Chapel. Private family interment will be in the Military Cemetery, Ketchum, Okla.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Burckhalter Funeral Home in Vinita, Okla.

MARY A. KETRON
VINITA, Okla. - Mary A. Ketron, 81-year-old, longtime Vinita resident, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2002 at her home after a short illness.
Mary was born July 4, 1920, in Miami, Okla., to Edmond Burke and Mayme (Nixon) Coleman. She worked at Lee Manufacturing Company in Chetopa, Kan., and at Home of Hope in housekeeping for several years. Mary was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church of Chetop, Kan. She loved to fish, make quilts and spend time with her family.
Survivors include: a step-sister, Mrs. Bill Berry of Vinita, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and eight sisters.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 25, at 10 a.m. at the Welch Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Whetstone officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to the Home Health Care of Vinita.
Services are under the direction of Burckhalter Funeral Home.
