ARNOLD GENE TEEHEE
TULSA, Okla. - Arnold Teehee, age 48, of Jay, Okla., died Sunday, November 24, 2002, in Tulsa. The son of Margie L. Teehee, he was born on January 31, 1954 in Jay. Living all his life in the Jay area, he worked in the Tyson Farms until last September. He was a member of the Cherokee Nation and the Piney Baptist Church.
He is survived by: his wife, Francis Davis Teehee, Jay; four sisters, Janice Sixkiller, Patsy Guess, Susan Foreman, and Marian Grass, all of Jay; and four nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, in the Piney Church. The interment will be in the Piney Cemetery. The services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay.

CHARLES ALLEN TEETZEL
GROVE - Charles Allen Teetzel, age 88, died Saturday, May 18, 2002 at his home after a sudden illness. The son of Clyde W. and Gladys M. (Potter) Teetzel, he was born on August 29, 1913 in Wellington, Kan. Charles worked at Boeing for 13 years before running Peck Red Ball Gas Station in Peck, Kan. He moved to Grove in 1972 where he worked in Sporting Goods at Wal-Mart until 1994. He was active in the Grove Senior Citizens and loved carving and fishing. Charles married Ruby Lamb and she preceded him in death in 1977. Also preceding in death were a son, Allen Lee Teetzel in 1972, and a daughter, Joan Bell in 1991.
Survivors include: a son, Bobby M. Teetzel and wife, Patsy L., of Berthoud, Colo.; nine grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
The services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, in the Worley-Luginbuel Chapel with Reverend Robin Cowin officiating. The interment will be in the Council Hills Cemetery in Peck, Kan., at 3:30 p.m.
The services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.

ROBERT M. TEMPLE
MIAMI, Okla. - Robert M. Temple died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2002 at the Integris Baptist Regional Health Center after an illness. He was 87.
Mr. Temple was born on October 11, 1914 to Earl C. and Grace (Chick) Temple at Oswego, Kan., and moved to Miami in 1945 where he was employed by the B.F. Goodrich Co. as a scheduler until his retirement.
He was a member of the Miami Golf & Country Club and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Miami.
He married Yvonne A. White on December 31, 1935 at Parson, Kan.
Survivors include: his wife, Yvonne, of Miami; a son, Phillip A. and wife, Patricia Temple, of Sante Fe, N.M.; two grandchildren, Elizabeth McCabe of Denver, Colo., and Ryan Temple of Portland, Ore.; and three great-grandchildren, Zachary Ryan McCabe, Madison Temple McCabe, and Grace Olivia McCabe.
Services will be Thursday, February 28, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John P. Wilson officiating. Private burial will be in the G.A.R. Cemetery under the direction of the Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home in Miami. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of the Funeral Home.

EUGENE RAY THIGPEN
ABILENE, Texas - Eugene Ray Thigpen, age 72, of Abilene, died Monday afternoon, July 22, 2002 in a local nursing center. He was born March 13, 1930 in Haskell, Texas, a resident of Weatherford for a short time. He was a business owner, served as City Clerk in Oaks, Okla., in Delaware County, attended the United Methodist Church, was past member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Pecos Jaycees.
Mr. Thigpen was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Holland Lake Nursing Center for the dedicated and loving care they provided for Eugene.
Survivors include: wife, Gayle Foster Thigpen, Abilene; daughters, Gaylen Sims, Abilene, and Gwen Nichols and husband, Jim, of Weatherford; grandsons, Kyle Nichols and Carson Nichols; sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Charles Butt, Irving, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held Wednesday, July 24, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rick Doyle officiating. A reception followed.
Memorials may be sent to the Oaks Indian Center, P.O. Box 130, Oaks, OK 74359-0130.

GLEN THOMAS
GROVE - Glen Thomas, age 74, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at 4:15 p.m. at his home in Grove, after a long illness.
He was born at Dodge City, Kan., December 22, 1927 to Glen and Louvina Thomas. He served in the Army and the Navy in World War II, and married Etta Whipple at Nowata, Okla., July 5, 1968.
Mr. Thomas was employed by Dwyer Enterprises in Neosho for over 30 years as a tool and die designer. He attended Cayuga Mission Church of Grove. He was a member and past commander of the V.F.W. post #534, and also a member of the Military Order of Cooties, Masonic Lodge #335 in Joplin, Scottish Rite, Abou Ben Adeim Shrine Springfield, Shrine of Neosho, American Legion Post #13, and Elks Club of Grove.
He is survived by: his wife, Etta Thomas; four daughters, Tammy Thomas of Carl Junction, Glenda Pearson of Orlando, Fla., Diane Shenfeld of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and Sharon McCoy of Joplin, Mo.; two brothers, Billy Thomas of Grove, and Floyd Thomas of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters, Irene Lewis of Joplin, and Mary Jane Brooks of Garland, Texas. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one sister, Alice Harnes of Neosho.
Services were held July 22nd at Mason-Woodard Mortuary, Joplin, Mo.

JOSHUAH SHAWN LEE THOMAS
GROVE - Joshuah Shawn Lee Thomas, two-month-old son of Lee Thomas and Jessica Wallberg, died Friday, November 1, 2002 at his home. He was born on August 11, 2002 in Grove.
Survivors include: his parents, of Grove; one sister, Brianna Rose Reina Thomas; grandparents, Ron and Cami Ely, Brian and Carol Burger, Ron and Delia Wallberg and Grandma Shelly.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 4, at Worley-Luginbuel Chapel with Paul Erickson officiating. Burial followed at Olympus Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.

KERRY THOMPSON
TULSA, Okla. - Kerry Thompson of Tulsa died January 19, 2002, at Tulsa. She was 46.
Kerry was born March 18, 1955, in Parsons, Kan. She worked as a journalist and had been employed by both the Grove Sun and the Miami News Record.
Survivors include: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Thompson; two sisters, Jo Clee Redman and Margo Hudelson of Tulsa; one brother, Bruce Thompson of Joplin, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Methodist Church, Quapaw, Okla., Saturday, January 26, at 2 p.m. Donations can be made to the Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers.

NOVA JEAN THOMPSON
JAY, Okla. - Nova Jean Thompson, age 64, died Tuesday, January 29, 2002 in the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla. The daughter of Cylde and Margaret (Earp) Martino, she was born on February 24, 1937 in Jay. Nova was born, raised and attended school in Jay before moving to Tulsa in the mid 1960's. Nova married Marion Thompson and he preceded in death in 1986.
Survivors include: three children, Doug Thompson and wife, Phyllis, Jeanne Ash and husband, John, and Greg Thompson, all of Catoosa, Okla.; two brothers, Lonnie Martino of Olatha, Kan., and Stanley Martino of Sapulpa, Okla.; two sisters, Retha Benefield and Cyldella Martino, both of Jay; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 1, in the Mt. Herman Baptist Church. The interment will be in the Mt. Herman Cemetery. The services are under the directions of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.

SYBIL DEE THOMPSON
VINITA, Okla. - Sybil Dee Thompson, 88-year old Vinita resident, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Chelsea, Okla.
Sybil was born February 18, 1914, at the family home east of Fairland, Okla., to Elias E. and Clara Abigail (Deems) Bowen. She attended Fairland schools and graduated with the class of 1932. Sybil moved to Vinita in 1954 where she founded and operated the Vinita Flag and Apron Company until 1974. She was a member of the Pilgrim Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and was a member of the Tri-State China Painters, and was well known in the area for her china painting.
Sybil was united in marriage to Lloyd E. "Tommy" Thompson on December 24, 1948 at Denton, Texas. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sister, Ethel, Othel, Sanford, Owen and Bill Bowen, Martha Firestine, and Jean Stone.
Surviving family members include: one daughter, Jan Clark Haney and husband, Dave, of Vinita; one granddaughter, Sheila Renee Clark of Tulsa; one sister, Maude Kronke of Peyson, Ariz.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2002, at the Burckhalter Memorial Chapel. Rev. Skip McClain will officiate. Interment will be in Fairland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2002, at the Burckhalter Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Craig General Hospice, the Pilgrim Presbyterian Church or Craig County Outreach Cancer Association.
Services are under the direction of Burckhalter Funeral Home.

RODNEY R. THOMURE
GROVE - Rodney R. Thomure, age 67, died Sunday, March 10, 2002 in the Grove General Hospital. The son of Emmit and Iva (Brattin) Thomure, he was born on March 28, 1934 in Picher, Okla. Rodney served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He worked for Boeing in Wichita, Kan., and later worked for Cessna. After that he worked in a Field Team for Lear-Seglier and retired from Civil Service Maintenance at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Ga., in 1990. He married Mary Ann Ziegler in 1957 and they moved to Grove in 1994.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary (Zig) Thomure, of Grove; two brothers, Stanley Thomure of Lake Montezuma, Ariz., and Warren Thomure of Afton, Okla.; two brothers-in-law, John Ziegler and wife, Eva, of Girard, Kan., and Bill Ziegler and wife, Joyce, of Ft. Scott, Kan.; three sisters-in-law, Marie Schettler and husband, Leo, of Plano, Texas, Donna Doti and husband, Jim, of Terra Haute, Ind., and Margaret Johnson of Pittsburg, Kan.
The funeral will be at the graveside in the G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla., at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15. The services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.

MALCOLM JOHN THORNHILL
MAYSVILLE, Okla. - Malcolm John Thornhill, age 75, of Maysville died Friday, January 4, 2002 in Bentonville, Ark. Mr. Thornhill was born June 8, 1926 in Manchester, England, to the late John Thornhill and Anne O'Brien. Mr. Thornhill immigrated from Great Britain in 1952 to Amarillo, Texas, and worked there as a microfilmer for St. Anthony's Hospital until his retirement. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include: his sister, Jackie Reneau of Maysville; three nieces; 10 great nieces; five great nephews; five great-great nieces and two great-great nephews.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, at Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Ark. Arrangements by Wasson Funeral Home.

ANN MARIE THREET
GROVE - Ann Marie Threet died Sunday, May 19, 2002 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo. She was 60.
Mrs. Threet was born July 25, 1941 in Bronx, N.Y. She was an Office Manager and employed by Dr. Crosby in Grove for 15 years. Ann was a member Liberty Baptist Church in Miami, Okla., and recently attended Elk River Baptist Church. She married Dusty Threet on May 26, 1978 in Miami.
Survivors include: her husband, Dusty; four children, Mary Ann Nichols of Broken Arrow, Okla., Donna Sue March of Hallsville, Mo., Karen Lee Hodges of Kansas City, Kan., and Chris Kirskey of Quapaw, Okla.; three step-children, Randy Threet of Grove, Ronda Gibe of Grove, and Robin Chandler of Afton, Okla.; 23 grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert Ocasil of London, Ky., and Stephen Smith of Tucson, Ariz.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Elk River Baptist Church in Grove, Rev. Carol Holden officiating. Interment will follow at Olympus Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
