ELLA WOODROE JORDAN
WYANDOTTE, Okla. - Ella Woodroe Jordan, 90, of Wyandotte, Okla. died Friday, June 6, 2003 at the Grove General Hospital after an illness.
Mrs. Jordan was born January 13, 1913 in Wyandotte, Okla. to Charley and Rausline (Williams) Frazier, she has lived in the Wyandotte Area all her life. She was a homemaker, and had worked at Lindsay' Dept. Store. She attended the Wyandotte Methodist Church. She married James Eli Head in 1931 at Seneca; he preceded her in death in 1950. Two sons Marvin and Jamie Dale Head, daughter Geraldine Cook, three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors included: 2 daughters, Janice Philips of Wyandotte, Norma Johnson of Bella Vista, Ark, a sister Lilly Smith of Santa Maria, Calif. Several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren and step-great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home in Miami. Leon Weece will officiate. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery Seneca, Mo. under the direction of Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home Miami. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

JOE JUMPER
GROVE - Joe Jumper, 61, died Sunday, January 26, 2003 at Grove General Hospital.
Joe Jumper was born on August 3, 1941 in Jay, Okla. to Esiah and Nancy (Teehee) Jumper. He was a farmer and worked on pipelines for many years. He was as avid hunter, fisherman, horseshoe player and was the best baseball catcher in the area. Joe had much compassion and was loved by everyone who knew him. He always welcomed people into his home. Survivors include: three sisters, Mary Louise Butler, Louise Soldier and Jo Ann Spade, all of Grove; one brother, Wallace Jumper, Grove; special friend Jefferson Studie. He was preceded in death by his special friend, J.C. Roberts.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, at Carr Baptist Church with Rev. Ed McFall and Rev. Dolphus Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at Jumper Cemetery. Family wake will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday at Jo Ann Spade's home.
Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.

CLIFTON T. JUSTUS
TULSA, Okla. - Clifton T. Justus, 72 year old Tulsa resident, passed away Monday, March 31, 2003, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa following a sudden illness.
Clifton was born July 10, 1930, at Chelsea, Okla., to William and Lucille (Rush) Justus. He served in the United States Army as Paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division during World War II. Clifton worked as an auto body and sign painter for many years in the Tulsa area before retiring.
Clifton was united in marriage to Doris Myers on December 30, 1977, Tulsa. She survives of the home.
Additional surviving family members include: one daughter, Lori Bartlow of Florida; four step-daughters, Shirley Willy and Tudy Frost, both of Vinita, Okla., Stephanie Myers of Tulsa, Pam Bryant of Florida; two step-sons, Steve Myers of Galt, Calif., Charles Bryant of Tulsa; one sister, Margie Goldsberry of Claremore, Okla.; one brother, Charles Justus of Calif.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
There will be private family services. Arrangements are under the direction of Burckhalter Funeral Home.

JUANITA ROSE KAY
GROVE - Juanita Rose Kay, of Grove, died Sunday February 2, 2003 at the Grove Nursing Center. She was 85.
Rose was born October 23, 1917 at Gowin, Okla. She worked for the telephone company, a bank, and General America Oil Co. in Seminole, Okla. and retired from the Seminole County A.S.C. office in Wewoka, Okla. She was a member of the Business of Professional Women, long-time member of the Seminole First Baptist Church then transferred her church membership to the Trinity Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Kan. Rose enjoyed entertaining friends and family with jokes and funny stories as well as food. She liked to read and to crochet. She loved music and dancing. She especially loved teaching Sunday School and sponsoring the youth group in her church. She will be remembered for her abiding faith, her generous spirit, and her courage in times of adversity, her love of others and her penchant for pranks. She married Virgil O. Kay; he proceeded her in death in 1980.
Survivors include: one granddaughter, Judy Parsons and husband, Jack, of Grove, Raymond Snodgrass and wife, Barbara, of Fremont, Neb. and Jimmy Snodgrass and wife, Jane, of Lee's Summit Mo.; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Her daughter, Mary Faye Skinner, preceded her in death in January of 1987.
A memorial will be held on Wednesday February 5, at 10 a.m., in the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel, Grove.

NICHOLE LEE KEITH
Nichole Lee Keith, six month old baby daughter of Chris and Kathy (Proctor) Keith, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2003 at St. John's Medical Center. Nichole was born on March 18, 2003 in Tulsa, Okla.
Surviving family members include her parents Chris and Kathy Keith, two brothers Bodhy Dawn Curry and Trenton Trevor Lee Keith, all of the home; maternal grandparents Juanita Teehee of Jay Okla., Jody Proctor of Kenwood, Okla.; paternal grandparents, Wanda and Edward Keith of Jay, Okla.; maternal great grandparents , Mickey and Idella Turner of Jay, Okla., and Annie Proctor of Kenwood, Okla.; paternal great grandparents, Thomas Anderson, of Jay, Okla., and Jasper Keith of Roseburg, Ore.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon, Monday, October 6, 2003, at Turner Funeral Chapel in Jay, Okla. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2003 at the Piney Baptist Church. Rev. John Gonzales will officiate. Interment will be in O'Field Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Turner Funeral Chapel of Jay, Okla.

OTTIS A. KING
WELLINGTON, Kan.-Ottis A. King, 90, of Wellington, Kan., retired school teacher, died early Wed. evening Feb. 12, 2003 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington.
She was born the daughter of William Wolf and Olga Helena (Welsch) on Feb. 5, 1913 in Portland, Kan.
Ottis graduated from South Haven Kansas High School in 1931. She then attended Wichita College, Wichita, Kan., Arkansas City Junior College, Arkansas City, Kan. and Southwestern University, Winfield, Kan. She taught ten years in Sumner County Kansas rural schools and nine years at the Mayfield, Kan. consolidated school system.
She was baptized as a child and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wellington, Kan. Ottis was also a member of the Wellington area of retired school teachers. On May 30, 1937 she and Edwin Clarke King were united in marriage in Wellington, Kan. He died on Oct. 31, 1977. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents and a twin brother Otto Adam Wolf.
She is survived by her son Danny King and his wife Connie of Long Island, Kan.; daughter Jule Ann Troutman and her husband Max of Wellington, Kan.; grandchildren Tessie Wingo and her husband Tom of Sedgwick, Kan., Daniel King of Wellington, Andrew King of Wellington, Krisi Webster of Emporia, Kan., Levin Troutman of Wellington, Dusty Webster of Long Island, Kan., Jesse Troutman of Wellington, and Savannah King of Long Island, Kan.; brothers William "Willy" Wolf and his wife LaVerna of Wellington, Everette Wolf and his wife Nadine of Grove, and Herman Wolf and his wife Vera of Wichita, Kan.; sisters Lorraine Taylor of Blackwell, Okla., Nadine Richart and her husband Harold of S. Haven, Kan., Betty Bates and her husband Roy of Welling, and Earlene Strickland and her husband Fred of S. Haven, Kan.
Funeral services for Ottis were held at 10:30 a.m. Sat., Feb. 15, at the First Presbyterian Church in Wellington. The Reverend Jane Brigden-Graham officiated. Interment was in the Braman Cemetery in Braman, Okla. A memorial has been established in her name and loving memory with the First Presbyterian Church, 1419 Western Ave., Wellington, Kan. 67152. Contributions may be mailed or left at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family via the Day Funeral Home website at www.dayfuneralhome.info. LARRY WAYNE KINGFISHER
JAY, Okla. - Larry Wayne Kingfisher, 55, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2003 at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa.
Larry Kingfisher was born on September 7, 1947 in Claremore, Okla. to Pete and Sarah (Stealer) Kingfisher. he married Wallora Daugherty on January 4, 1967 in Salina, Okla. They had two children, Eric and T.J. Kingfisher. Larry was ordained into the ministry in 1976. He has pastored many churches throughout his ministry. For the past eight years, he was the pastor of Mt. Hermon Church where he leaves behind a congregation that he loved and was very proud of. Larry's loves after God, the church and family were fishing with Wal, watching his grandchildren play sports, and golfing with family and friends. Larry admitted that he was not the best golfer, but he loved visiting with friends on the golf course. Throughout Larry's ministry, he touched many lives and brought many souls to the Lord. he will be greatly missed. Larry was preceded in death by his son, Eric Kingfisher, his mother, Sarah Kingfisher and his brother, Gary Kingfisher.
Survivors include his wife, Wallora; one son, T.J. Kingfisher of the home; two grandchildren, Zac Kingfisher and Justin Teehee; one special girl, Serenity Scott; daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Crystal and Feryl Teehee all of Jay; his father, Pete Kingfisher of Salina; four brothers, Joe, Henry and Tuffy Kingfisher of Saline and Dennis Kingfisher of Kansas, Okla.; four sisters, Donna Kingfisher, Roberta Galcatcher, Peggy Payne, Freda Payne all of Salina; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at Mt. Hermon Church with Rev. Bill Goldner and Rev. John Summerfield officiating. Burial will follow at O'Field Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay.
Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay.

MARY ELLEN KIRKPATRICK
GROVE, Okla. - Mary Ellen Kirkpatrick, 81, of Grove, passed away May 28, 2003 at her home after a lengthy illness.
Mary Kirkpatrick was born June 8, 1921 to Shea and Lillian Kirkpatrick in Wichita, Kan. She attended high school in Kingman, Kan. She continued her education at Hutchinson Junior College and later at the University of Kansas, and graduated "Cum Laude" with a B.A. Degree in Liberal Arts, Major in Accounting from Wichita State University.
She began her career teaching in a rural elementary school in Kingman County. She went on to do private industry accounting and later public accounting in Wichita from 1954 as a sole practitioner until 1963 when joined by Mr. Jayde Sprecker to form the partnership of Kirkpatrick & Sprecker Certified Public Accountants. She retired as a partner in this company in August 1983.
Ms. Kirkpatrick was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Women's Society of Certified Public Accountants, Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Wichita Chapter of Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas State Board of Accountancy for a three-year term in October of 1980 and served as chairman from September 1981-1983. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas in Wichita, until moving to Grove and becoming a member at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church.
She was active in the Wichita Area Girl Scout Council from 1958-1983 and the Girl Scouts of U.S.A. from 1970-1975. She received many awards for her services in the organization. The Wichita Professional Chapter of Women in Communications, Inc. honored her with the 1974 Woman of Achievement Award.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 31, at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church. Rosary will be conducted at 7:30 p.m., Friday, May 30, at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove. Father Alex Kennedy will officiate. The interment will be in the Olympus Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 2106 S. Main, Grove, OK 74344.

DR. RALPH F. KLICKMAN, O.D.
ROCKFORD, Ill. - Dr. Ralph F. Klickman, O.D., 88, Rockford, died at 10 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2003, at Wesley Willows Retirement Center following a long illness. Dr. Klickman was born September 22, 1915, in Chicago, Ill., and was the son of Rudolph and Ella Mae Klickman. A Rockford resident since 1964, he married June M. Carstens in Chicago, on September 6, 1941. Dr. Klickman was employed as an Optometrist at Cobb Optical for many years, retiring in 1980. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps, serving during World War II.
Survivors include wife June; sons, Wayne Klickman and wife Sue of Machesney Park, Ill. and Keith Klickman and wife Lori of Grove, Okla.; grandson Joel Klickman and granddaughter Grace Klickman, both of Grove. Ralph was predeceased by his parents and brother, Lawrence. The family would like to thank the staff at Wesley Willows Health Center for their support and care.
Memorial services will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, December 27, 2003, at Wesley Willows Chapel, 4441 N. Rockton Avenue, with Reverend Steven Mindrup officiating. Private burial will follow in Willwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until service time on Saturday, December 27, 2003, at Wesley Willows. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Wesley Willows Good Samaritan Fund. Arrangements by Fred C. Olson Funeral Chapels, Ltd.

DOLLIE M. UTO SHAMBLIN KLINE
AFTON, Okla. - Dollie M. Uto Shambin Kline, Afton resident, died at her home, Tuesday, April 29,2003, at 8:15 a.m., after a lengthy illness. She was 81. Dollie was born May 3, 1921, to Lee and Gertrude Kenworthy Uto, at Miami, Okla. She graduated from the Miami High School in the class of 1940, and resided in the Miami/Commerce area until 1947. She married Richard L. Shamblin in Miami on April 8, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1975. She married Glen L. Kline on April 5, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nev. She worked several years in a waffle shop as a cook and manager. She moved to Afton in 1992, coming from Westminster, Calif. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Kline was a survivor of cancer for 30 years before her death. She is survived by her husband, Glen of the home; a son and his wife, Richard L. and Daretha Shamblin of Afton; two daughters, Dixie Burns and husband, Jim, of Calif., and Joyce A. Burns, of the home; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 2, at Adcock Funeral Home Chapel in Afton, with Roland Adcock officiating. Burial will follow at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami. Arrangements are provided by Adcock Funeral Home in Afton.

LUELLA EUNICE KUNCE
DECATUR, Ark. - Luella Eunice Kunce, 92 year old resident of Decatur, died Sunday, January 19, 2003, at her home. Born September 12, 1910, in Shannon County Mo., she was the daughter of George Washington Meineke and Mary Pankey Meineke. Mrs. Kunce had been a resident to the Decatur, Gentry area since 1982, moving there from Jay, Okla. She was a member of the Decatur Seventh-day Adventist Church and a credentialized missionary with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was a member of the Arkansas and Oklahoma Nurses Association. Mrs. Kunce was preceded in death by her first husband, Ivan Murray, and married Paul L. Kunce in August of 1983.
Survivors include; her husband, Paul Kunce, of the home; two sons, D. Fred Murray of Firth Neb., and James Murray of Weatherford, Texas; three daughters, Mary Ellen Schwab of College Place Wash., Peggy Terry of Sheridan, Wyo. and Sarah E. Irons of Decatur; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one stepson, Paul Kunce, Jr. of Arlington, Texas; three stepdaughters JoAnne Beck of Dallas, Texas, Peggy Dohlman of Sand Springs, Okla. and Patti Rittenhouse of Enfield, Conn.; a number of step-grand and great-grandchildren; one brother, Austin C. "Ole" Meineke of Fort Jones, Calif.; two sisters, Exonia Batterman of Nashville, Tenn. and Elsa Stockton of LaCrecenta, Calif.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday 21, at the Decatur Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor Jim Landelius and Elder Jerry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Gentry Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

KATHLEEN LEOLA LAYMAN
GROVE - Kathleen Layman was born on March 25, 1922 in Webbers Falls, Okla. She passed away on January 21, 2003 in the Grove General Hospital at the age of 80. Kay was a long-time resident of Grove. She had been in the restaurant and catering business in Grove for many years. Kay had served the Lion's Club for many years. She was a member of the Bernice Baptist Church, past president of the Grand Lake Business and Professional Women's Club, and the Grove Rebekahs Lodge.
Kay was preceded in death by: her husband, James E. Layman; her parents, Claude and Bertha Hinds; and her daughter, Linda Matters.
She is survived by: a daughter, Carolyn Lingo, and husband of Bernice; four sisters, Grace Brady of Grandby, Mo., Vera May of Bernice, Okla., Billye Bliesath of Afton, Okla., and Mary Atchison of Duncan, Okla.; four grandchildren, Sheryl Dunbar, Rich Matters, Kenneth James Matters and Kelly Hayes; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, in the Bernice Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Olympus Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, January 22. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Bernice Baptist Church Building Fund. Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.

DANNY E. LAWMASTER
WATTS, Okla. - Danny E. Lawmaster, 68-year-old resident of Watts, Okla. died March 26, 2003 at his residence. Born March 30, 1934 in Bixby, Okla., he was the son of W.M. Lawmaster and Myrtle Adair Guthrie Lawmaster. He retired from Simmons Poultry Division where he worked in the live haul department. He was a peacetime veteran of the Air Force and was the Past Commander of the American Legion Post 104. Danny enjoyed fishing, Oklahoma University sports, being outdoors and was of the Baptist faith. He married Margaret Sue Stanley on Oct. 12, 1963 in Stilwell, Okla. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Melvin Lawmaster, Leroy Lawmaster, J.D. Lawmaster, and Luke Taft.
He is survived by his wife, Sue of the home; three sons, Brian Cannon of Siloam Springs, Ark., Danny Lawmaster and David Lawmaster, both of Watts, two daughters, Gala Lawmaster of Watts and Tamela Lawmaster of Tahlequah, Okla.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, March 29, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with burial following at Baptist Mission Cemetery, Adair County, Okla. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, at Wasson Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.

LORI ELAINE LAWRENCE
AFTON, Okla. - Lori Elaine Lawrence, 38, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2003, in Grove. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 2, at Sixkiller Cemetery, Afton. Family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 1, at Ellis Family Funeral Home, Grove. Lori Lawrence was born on October 13, 1964 in Altus, Okla. to O. T. and Helen (Howard) Flippo. She married Mike Lawrence on February 18, 1983, in Jay, Okla. She worked as a waitress and homemaker. She was a member of Port Aransas, Texas Auxiliary Ambulance E.M.S. Lori loved camping and fishing. She had lived in this area most of her life. Survivors include her husband, Mike of Afton; one son, Kyle Lawrence of Afton; two brothers, Colin Flippo and wife, Vickie of Port Aransas, Texas and James Flippo and wife, Lea of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Debbie Carver and husband, Butch of Grove and Barbara Steele and husband, David of Neosho, Mo.; nine nieces, six nephews and numerous loved ones and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Geneva, one son, Dustin, and one brother Bobby Flippo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lori Lawrence College Fund for Kyle Lawrence at Grand Savings Bank, Grove. Services are entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home, 107 S.
