LOUELLA CHEWEY PRITCHETT
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Funeral services for Louella Chewey Pritchett, age 66 of Tahlequah were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2003, at Illinois River Baptist Church in Chewey, Okla. Interment will follow at Chewey Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Cherino, Mike Chewey, Chris Jaramillo, Michael E. Chewey, James Pathkiller and David Sands. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Floyd Sands, Clayton Pritchett, Andy Tucker, James Creager, Warren Cheromiah and Kevin Kelly.
Louella Chewey Pritchett was born to Samuel and Nancy (Bearpaw) Chewey on September 26, 1936 in Chewey, and passed away on May 12, 2003 in Tahlequah.
Louella was a life long resident of Chewey. She worked for the Cherokee Nation as a purchasing agent. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. During her leisure time she enjoyed reading, going to flea markets, garage sales and loved to go for rides around the countryside. Louella enjoyed attending gospel singings. While residing in Chewey, she was a member of the Illinois River Indian Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by both parents; her loving husband, Henry; her two sons, David Michael and Baby Boy Pritchett; four brothers, George Bear, Roy Lee Schell, Willie Chewey and Henry Chewey; and a sister, Mary Tucker.
Louella is survived by her four boys, Billy Ray Ritchie of Calif., Samuel Charles Pritchett, Stephen Lee Pritchett and Johnny Michael Pritchett, all of Tahlequah; three sisters, Ruth Terry of Checotah, Okla., Jean Kitchen of Locust Grove, Okla. and Evelyn Cherino of Isleta, N.M.; seven grandchildren, Amber Luster of Muskogee, Jeffrey Ritchie of Ft. Smith, Ark., Clarissa Pritchett of Ponca City, Okla. and Chase, Tiffany, Donnay and Makayla Pritchett, all of Tahlequah; many nieces, nephews, cousins; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.

MAUDE MAE PRITCHETT
MIAMI, Okla. - Maude Mae Pritchett, 101, of Miami, died Monday March 10, 2003, at Baptist Regional Health Center after an illness.
Mrs. Pritchett was a homemaker and attended the Southeast Baptist Church in Miami. She married Denzil Gurley in 1925. He preceded her in death in 1932. She then married Fred Pritchett in April of 1939 in Miami. He preceded her on January 9, 1978. A son Ben Gurley, daughter Donia Jane Roberts, three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two daughters, Lillie Campbell of Miami and Ruth Vaughan of Miami; one sister, Hazel Harper of Grove, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home, Miami. Rev. Junior Couch will officiate. Burial will be in the Williams Timberhill Cemetery under the direction of the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home, Miami.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday evening at the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home, 15 A Street Northwest, Miami.

EDWARD BEN PROCTOR
JAY, Okla. - Funeral services for Edward Ben Proctor, 32, of Disney, Okla., are being held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at First Baptist Church in Jay with burial at the Jumper Cemetery in Jay under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Officiating will be Rev. Charlie Shell. Serving as pallbearers will be George Proctor, Danny Tanner, Steven "Pappy" Yocham, Jeff Doublehead, Jason Jones and Greg Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Walker Bark, Dennis Glass, Wesley Bird, Dave Killer, Norman Flute, Sam Allen, Richard Wolf, Sanford Glass and Rick Daniels.
Ben, as he was commonly known, died May 10, at W.W. Hastings Hospital, Tahlequah, after a lengthy illness. He was a welder for many years and completed EMT training inTahlequah prior to his illness. He enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes, riding bulls and being with his friends and family. He was a member of Round Springs Baptist Church in Eucha, the United Keetoowah Band, Green Country Giggers Association and Kansas Indian Horseshoe Club.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Katie and Soldier Shell of the home in Disney; father and stepmother, Edward and Lynn Proctor of Sulphur Springs, Ark.; grandmother, Anna Mae Wright of Jay; two sisters, Kattrina Marble and her husband, John, and Polly Allen and her husband, Greg, all of Jay; one brother, George Proctor and his wife, Shelly of Jay; three stepsisters, Sonya Peters of Gravette, Ark., Mindy Eagan and Allison Conway, both of Broken Arrow; one stepbrother, James Adam Shell of Broken Arrow. He is also survived by nine nephews, six nieces, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Benjamin Wright and two uncles, Cobb Chunstudy and Thomas Chunstudy.

BILLIE PRUITT
COLCORD, Okla. - Billie Pruitt, 58, of Colcord passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2003 in Tulsa.
She was born in Ft. Smith, Ark. on May 28, 1945 to MontaRae and George Teel of Casa, Ark.
Billie was a kind and loving person with a big heart, she loved bingo, gardening and fishing, but most of all her family. She will be greatly missed by: her four children, Brenda Perry of Wyandotte, Okla., Shawn Manken of Cherokee, Okla., and Bill and George Potter of Colcord; eight grandchildren; two brothers, John Thomas of Chelsea, Okla., and Rusty Thomas of Huey Town, Ala.; seven sisters, Ruby Carter of Chelsea, Deb Peschka of Broken Arrow, Okla., Barbara Miller of Tulsa, Okla., Cindy Mitchell of Colcord, Ann Smythe of Siloam Springs, Ark., Tina Teel of Colcord, Ruth Thomas of Maysville, Okla.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation was done by Floral Haven of Tulsa.

GUY LEON RAGAP

PICHER, Okla. - Guy Leon Ragap, 45, of Picher formerly of Weatherford, Texas, died Sunday, February 2, 2003, from injuries he received in an automobile accident.
Mr. Ragap was born April 13, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Bob and Gayle (Tooman) Ragap he has lived in Picher for the past several months moving there from Texas.
Mr. Ragap was a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors include: two sons, Christian Clevenger and Guy T. Ragap; his mother, Gayle Pence; two sisters, Karney Hulsey and Sherrie Warner; his grandmother, Leona (Grannie) Thompson; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, February 7, in the Court of Freedom section of Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home, Commerce, Okla.

DOROTHY FIELDS RAY
JOPLIN, Mo. - Dorothy Luella Fields Ray, age 83 of Joplin, passed away at 4:15 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2003 at St. John's Regional Medical Center.
Born July 18, 1919 in Afton, Okla., she was the daughter of the late Ray and Fannie Buttram Fields and had lived in Joplin since 1967, moving from Grants, N.M. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.
On July 8, 1953, she married Don Ray at Vinita, Okla. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1989. A sister Marjorie Richards, also preceded her in death in 2001.
Survivors include three sons Thomas Proffitt, Charles Proffitt, both of Joplin and David Ray, of Webb City, Mo.; a daughter Ann Binning of Joplin; a stepdaughter, Donna Sue Bivens of Little Rock, Ark.; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, at Parker Chapel with Allen Brintnall officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Grandsons serving as pallbearers will be Jason Ray, Tom, Jack, Steve, Donnie, and Josh Proffitt and Rocky Binning. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.

HOLDEN RUSSEL REAMY
CLEORA, Okla. - Holden Russel Reamy, born November 5, 1999 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 4, 2003. During his three years, three months on this earth, he touched many lives and has been a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
Holden is survived by his parents Greg and Kelli Reamy Holt; three brothers Hayden, Gared, and Hunter, all of the home; grandparents Lynn and Sharon Ashford of Cleora, Velma Lindley, Cloudy, Okla., Jack Reamy, El Paso, Texas, Altonand Callie Barnes, and Buddy Holt, all of Muldrew, Okla.; great-grandmothers Elsie Reamy, Sperry, Okla., and Velma Lindley, Cloudy; plus many aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Holden's Heros fund at Superior Federal Bank Acct. # 304881280. There will be containers at the chapel and church for donations. These donations are for research into the disease that took Holden from us.
Services are under the direction of Turner Funeral Chapel of Langley, Okla. Visitation will be at the chapel on Tuesday February 25, 2003 from 4 p.m. til 7 p.m. Services will be at 1 p.m., at the Church on the Lake, Ketchum, on Wednesday February 26.

NAOMI RECORDS
WYANDOTTE, Okla. - Naomi Records, 85, died Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at her home.
Mary Naomi Records was born on July 1, 1917 in Anderson, Mo. to William and Mary E. (Wilson) Crossley. She was married to Frank Records. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1984. Mrs. Records was a homemaker. She was an active life member of Council House Friends Church. She was a member of the Missionary Ladies, the Fair Board, worked as a voter registrar and was a great cook.
Survivors include: three children, Frankie Johnson, Doug Records and Charles Records; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, February 8, at Council House Friends Church with Rev. Duane Cram and Rev. Larry Pickard officiating. Interment will follow at Council House Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may by made to Council House Church.
Services are under the direction of Worley -Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.

BISHOP JOSEPH MARION REECE
JAY, Okla. - Bishop Joseph Marion Reece died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at 10:35 a.m. at Jay, at the age of 87 years.
He was born January 11, 1916 in Gravette, Ark. to James Miles and Cora Marie (Fry) Reece. He was a minister for 58 years. He lived in Jay for two weeks moving from Miami, Okla. He was a member of the Church of God, pastoring several churches and was a bishop over several churches. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years, Hattie Izene Reece. He then married Gladys Lovella Hecht at Vinita, Okla. on April 19, 1990. They were married for 13 years before she preceded him in death on January 24, 2003. He was also preceded in death by one son, Joe Dean Reece in 1985; one grandson, Michael Shane Weatherman; three sisters; and five brothers.
He is survived by four daughters, Bonnie Warren of Jay, Beverly and husband, Richard Thompson of Chouteau, Okla., Suzy and husband, Bob Fletcher of Eatonton, Ga., and Janet and husband, Bill Sudduth of Pensacola, Fla.; one brother, Dwight Reece of Showlow, Ariz.; one sister, Madeline Drake of Baxter Springs, Kan.; and 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday April 11, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Chapel Church officiated by Bishop Robert W. Fletcher. Interment will be at Southwest City Cemetery, Southwest City, Mo.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jeffry Thompson, Dan Weatherman, Jamie Thompson, Jason Thompson, Josh Fletcher and Jesse Fletcher.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home, 1432 B Street Northwest, Miami.
Arrangements are under the Direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home.

STEVEN ALAN REED
Grove, Okla. - Steven Alan Reed, 47, die d Monday, October 6, 2003 at his home in Grove. Steven was born in Camp Lejeune, N.C. on August 18, 1956 to Stanley Reed and Marian (Owl) Randolph. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Steven was married to Sandra Schnorr.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; two children, Ashley Reed and Steven Reed, both of North Charleston, S.C.; his mother Marian Randolph of Grove; and his father Stanley Reed.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 13, 2003 in the Worley-Luginbuel Chapel with Rev. David Devore and Grove Veterans Ritual Team officiating.
Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.

WALTER LEON REED
GROVE, Okla. - Walter Reed, age 85, died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Grove General Hospital. The son of Homer L. and Vina (Smith) Reed, he was born on October 15, 1917 in Oklahoma. Walter served in the 45th Division of the U.S. Army in WWII. He worked in the oil business. A son, Edward, preceded him in death on March 23, 2002.
Surviving are: a son, Dean Reed and wife, Pat in Grove; two brothers, Joseph Reed in Ponca City, Okla. and William Reed in Quitman, Texas; a sister, Ouida French in Longview, Texas; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Private family services are at a later date. Arrangements were by the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.

GERALD REYNOLDS
GROVE, Okla. - Gerald Michael Reynolds, age 62, died Friday, May 23, 2003 at his home in Grove. Gerald was born June 20, 1940 to Earl Max Stewart and Wilene (Geboe) Stewart in Claremore, Okla. Gerald graduated from Neosho High School and served in the U.S. Army. He had resided in the Grove area for 20 years.
Surviving are two brothers, Randolph Reynolds of Copper Cove, Texas and Jerry Reynolds of Kennesaw, Ga.; one sister, Jahala Smith and husband, Bill of Springfield, Mo.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 28, at 10 a.m. at Council House Cemetery, Grove, with the Grove Veterans Ritual team officiating. Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
