IVA LEE ARNOLD
1931-2005
BERNICE, Okla. - Iva Lee Arnold, 73, of Bernice, passed away Thursday, March 24 at her home following an extended illness.
Arnold was born May 22, 1931 in Goodland, Kansas, to Mack Currens and Veta Ann Currens. She attended school at Goodland, Kansas. She was a farmer and a homemaker, and she was of the Mormon faith.
Arnold was united in marriage to Bob Arnold on May 21, 1949 in Goodland, Kansas. They moved to he lake area in 1994 from Joplin, Missouri. Bob preceded her in death on July 11, 1995. Her parents, one daughter, Debbie Lee Teel; one son, Sandy Mack Arnold; one brother, Cloyce Currens; and one sister, Maxine Harrington, also preceded her in death.
Surviving family members include: one daughter, Veta Smith and husband Mike of Bernice, Oklahoma; one son, Jack Arnold; one sister, Doris Curry of Goodland, Kansas; eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, March 26 at the Turner Funeral Chapel, 722 NW 46th Street in Grove. Pastor Stephen Decker will officiate. Internment will be in Dent Cemetery, Washburn, Missouri.

BEVERLY JOHNSON BREWSTER
1961-2005
Beverly Gwen Johnson Brewster was called to her heavenly home March 24, 2005 after a long and brave fight against diabetes. She was born April 4, 1961, in Salina, Kansas, along with her twin sister Barbara to N.R. (Russ) Sr. and Donna Johnson. After graduating from SWOSU in Weatherford, whe met and married Miles Brewster on March 3, 1984. She was preceded in death by her father, Russ Johnson.
Brewster leaves her husbnad, Miles Brewster, and three sons, T.J. Brewster and his fiance Brittany, Brandon Brewster and wife Brandy, and Neil Brewster; three granddaughters, Hanna, Abagail, and Grace; her mother, Donna Johnson; two sisters and their husbands, Karen and Gary Lasater of Bethany, Oklahoma, and Barbara and Bryan Brewster of Piedmont, Oklahoma; one brother and his wife, N.R. "Rusty" Jr. and Karen Johnson of Rockwall, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Kieth and Jeni Brewster of Snadborn, Indiana, and Kelly and Shelly Brewster of Bernice, Oklahoma; and her parents-in law, Clinton and Shirley Brewster of Bernice, Oklahoma. She was Aunt Beverly to numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Ottawa Indian Baptist Church on Saturday, March 26, at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Ottawa Indian Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. The casket will be closed at all times. Arrangements provided by Adcock Funeral Homa in Fairland.

Robert D. "Bagdadaddy Bob" Brown
1962-2005
EUCHA, Okla. - Robert D. "Bagdadaddy Bob" Brown, 42, of Eucha passed away late Tuesday evening March 15, 2005 from a boating accident on Lake Eucha. He was born May 2, 1962 in Shell Lake, Wisconsin to Luther D. and Laura E. (Huhn) Brown.
Brown was a plumbing supervisor with KBR Halliburton working in Iraq. He loved hunting, four-wheeling, and being with his family, children, and grandchildren. He was a very devoted and loving father. Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jay.
Brown was united in marriage to Debora Sherry Vernon on June 17, 1989 in Grove, Oklahoma.
Survivors include his wife, Debora Sherry Brown of the home; children Laura Laurell Elizabeth Brown-McKnight and husband Jesse of Colts Neck, New Jersey, Betsy Elizabeth Brown and husband Mike of Kansas City, Missouri, Misty Miranda Lancaster and husband Erik of Eucha, andJohn David Dinson and wife Donielle of Eucha; five grandchildren, Henry I. Brixey, Reagan E. Brown, Mariah J. Lancaster, Kelsey McKee, and Kade McKee; two sisters, Gladys Warren of Grove and Pearl Martin of Minnesota; three brothersDennis Brown, Arthur Brown, and William Brown; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Brown was preceded in death by both his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 26 in the sanctuary at Mount Herman Church with Pastor Jim Wakeland officiationg. Casket bearers will be John Dingson, Erik Lancaster, Mike McKee, Jesse McKnight, Travis Cornell, and Roberto Bravo. Honorary casket bearers will be Johnny Duffield, Steve Helfinstein, Josh Coberly, and Neal Bacon. Burial is to follow at Duffield Cemetery.

Wilbur L Ball
1920-2005
MIAMI, OK - Wilbur L. Ball, 84, of Miami, died Friday, March 18 at Miami Nursing Center. His services will be at the graveside 10:30 AM Saturday, March 26 at Ottawa Indian Cemetery, southeast of Miami. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, March 25 at Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home Chapel in Miami.
Ball was retired from Ottawa County after 30 years of service.

Jack K. Rawlings
1921-2005
MIAMI, OK - Jack K. Rawlings, 84, of Miami, died Tuesday, March 22 at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami. His services will be 10:30 AM Friday, March 25 First Christian Church Chapel in Miami. There is no visitation scheduled. Burial will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, east of Miami.
Rawlings was a retired pharmacist from Crown and Skaggs Drug Company in Tulsa and Broken Arrow.

Robert Staller
1944-2005
JAY, OK - Robert Staller, 61, of Jay, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at the Monroe Manor Nursing Home in Jay.
Staller was born June 23, 1944 to Sam and Geneva Budder Staller at Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He worked as a truck driver for Simmons Poultry. He was a member of the Steeley Baptist Church in Kenwood. He married Omilen Mouse, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Jimmy Bleackbear; two sisters, Rosa Lee Crawford and Diane Williams; and one granddaughter.
Survivors include two children, Lora Staller and Teresa McGuink, both of Jay; two brothers, Leroy Staller and Jerry Staller, both of Kenwood; three half brothers, Jo Blackbear of Jay, John Blackbear of Jay, and Richard Blackbear of Jay; three half sisters, Maria Weeley of Jay, Lois King of Kenwood, and Margaret Goins of Grove; one brother-in -law, Jerry WIlliams; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, March 25 at 2 PM at the Steeley Baptist Church in Kenwood, with Rev. Richard Soldier officiating. Internment will follow at the Euwasha Cemetery in Kenwood. Family will recieve friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.

Beatrice Dew
1927-2005
WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, OK - Beatrice Dew, 78, of Leach, OK, died Monday, March 21, 2005 at Quail Ridge Living Center in West Siloam Springs, OK.
Dew was born January 28, 1927 in Morrill, Nebraska, and was the daughter of Elmo Cleopolis Burkes and Berna Ethel Cook Burkes. In February 1945, she moved to Oklahoma, where she worked at the powder plant in Pryor.
Dew married Jess Dew on August 25, 1945. She had been employed for 13 years at Lowery School, 17 years for Oaks Mission Children's Center, and retired from Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in 1991. She was also a foster grandparent.
Dew was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Dew, in1987; one brother, Ardith Burkes, and one sister, Tilda Morrow.
Survivors include one son, Bill Dew of Chicago; one daughter, Sharon Dunlap Peck of West Siloam Springs, OK; five grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are six brothers, Keith Burkes of Witchita, KS; Godard Burkes of Hindsvile, AR; Lionel Burkes of Springdale, AR; Earl Burkes of Huntsville, AR; Glen Burkes of Tallahassee, FL; and Loy Burkes of Bandero, TX, and one sister, Wanda Howard of Hindsville, AR.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Watson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Rev. Jess French officiating. Florine A. Kreie
1936-2005
GROVE, OK - Florine Andrea Kreie, 68, of Grove, passed away Friday, March 18, 2005 at her home following an extended illness.
Kreie was born May 18, 1936 in Waverly, Kansas, to Floyd and Lela Rose (Cox) Brock. She was a retired Business Services Manager for Southwestern Bell in Topeka, Kansas for over 37 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elks Lodge and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles Lodge.
Kreie was an avid golfer and a member of the Kansas Women's Golf Association. Through this association she performed course ratings on many golf courses in Kansas.
Kreie loved life and people. She had many close friends in the area, including Salina, KS; Topeka, KS; Witchita, KS; and Grove, OK. Her neighbors already miss seeing Kreie walking her dog, Winston, around their neighborhood. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.
Kreie was united in marriage to Stephen Conard Kreie on July 26, 1980 in Salina, Kansas. She and her husband moved from Topeka, Kansas to Grove in May of 2001.
"She was my strength and my life," says Mr. Kreie.
Surviving family members include her husband Stephen of the home; her parents Floyd and Lela Brock of Osage City, Kansas; one son, Wes Kreie of Monkey Island; one sister, Mary morrow of Ottawa, Kansas; three brothers, James Brock of Kansas City, Missouri, Jerry Brock of Richmond, Kansas, and Gary Brock of Lanexa, Kansas.
Kreie was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Brock, and one sister, Rosa Lee Mullinax.
A celebration of Kreie's life with family and friends will be held Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 2 PM at the Community Center in Melvern, KS.
There will also be a celebration of Kreie's life in Grove at her home on Tuesday, March 29. All neighbors, family, and friends are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Kreie.

Ross Leon Wilmoth, Sr.
1924-2005
GENTRY, AR - Ross Leon Wilmoth, Sr., 80, of Gentry, Arkansas, died Sunday, March 20 in Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born September 13, 1924 in Decatur, Arkansas.
Wilmoth was the son of Jim Wilmoth and Liddie Dill Wilmoth. He was a lifetime resident of the Gentry and Falling Springs area. Wilmoth had his own heavy-equipment business, was a cattle rancher, and owned and operated Wild Wilderness Safari. He was a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the American Legion post in Gentry.
Survivors include his wife Freda of the home; four sons, Ross Leon Wilmoth, Jr. and his wife Gayla, James Lewis Wilmoth and his wife Jodie, Freddy Mack Wilmoth, Sr. and his wife Patricia ("Sissy"), Charles William Wilmoth and his wife Rayetta, all of Gentry; four daughters, Linda Joy Hook and her husband Floyd of Gentry, Sheva Jean Thompson and her husband Butch of Siloam Springs, Lisa Ann Wilmoth of Gentry, and Chana Rose Kooistra and her husband Aaron of Siloam Springs; two brothers, James Edward Wilmoth of Siloam Springs, and Jerry Wilmoth of Prescott, Arizona; one sister, Pearl Fenton of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandsons, Christopher Jason Hook, Ross Leona "Trey" Wilmoth III and his wife Christen, Joshua Taylor Wilmoth, Thomas Harry Wilmoth, Freddy Mack Wilmoth, Jr., Branton Leon Thompson, and Jaxon James Kooistra; nine granddaughters, Kristen Janece Hook, Angela Marie Beeler and her husband Roy, Jessica Dawn Wilmoth, Casey Ruchelle Wilmoth, Jaiden Laine Wilmoth, Sara Jean Thompson, Megan Ann McGarrah, Meranda Ann McGarrah, and Abigail Elaine Wilmoth; two great-grandsons, "Ross" Leon Wilmoth IV, and Hudson Lewis Noel Wilmoth; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ray Mack Wilmoth, Harry Amos Wilmoth, and Charles William Wilmoth; and one grandson, Jarod Clint Hook.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 23, from 6-8 PM at Wasson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 24 at 10 AM at First Baptist Church in Gentry with Dr. Robin Cowan and Rev. Mike Walker officiating. Burial will be in Falling Springs Cemetery with funeral services under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home. Family request in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the Falling Springs Cemetery Association c/o Flo Dickinson, 21801 Falling Springs Road, Decatur, AR 72722.
