GERALDINE NUCKOLLS
1914-2005
GROVE, Okla. - Geraldine Nuckolls, 90, the daughter of W.A. and Zula Fox Jarnagin was born May 26, 1914 in Cruthers, Ca. and died April 2 at Integris Grove General Hospital.
The former Geraldine Jarnagin, she was united in marriage to Bob Nuckolls April 14, 1935 in Stringtown, Okla. and he preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Nuckolls was first employed at Grahams Grocery Store and later employed at the Bank of Oklahoma until her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Rebecca Sunday School Class. The Jarnagin and Nuckolls families have a rich Grove history.
Survivors include her daughter, Dian Murphy and her husband Gary of Seneca, Mo. Mrs. Nuckolls was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Buster and Johnna Jarnagin.
Funeral services were held Tues., April 5 at 10 a.m. at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, with Pastor James Wilder officiating. Interment followed in the Olympus Cemetery in Grove.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.

H. Earl Reagan
1921-2005
H. Earl Reagan- Born March 14, 1921, in Kansas City, Kansas to Alma and Herman Reagan, He graduated from Argentina High School where he met his wife of 65 years the former Helen Posten, Mr. Reagan was a gunners mate during WWII on the U.S.S. McGowan and member of Boiler Makers Union, they had two daughters Helen Earlene Friberg of Arvada, Colorado and Patti Ann Gaeddert of Golden, Colorado, Five grandchildren- Earl Friberg of Nunn, Colorado, Kim Huffman of Arvada, Colorado, David Friberg of Springfield, Missouri, Mallorie Gaeddert and Matthew Gaeddert of Golden, Colorado, Five great grandchildren, They retired to Grove, Oklahoma so he could follow his dream of living on Grand Lake. They moved to Arvada, Colorado in November 2004 to be near their family. He passed away on April 2, 2005 in Wheatridge, Colorado.

WAYNE SHRIVER MARLING
1921-2005
BERNICE, Okla. – Wayne Shriver Marling, 83, of Bernice, passed away last Wednesday, May 4, in the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 9 in the Memory Chapel of the Arnold Moore Funeral Residence, 621 S. Johnstone in Bartlesville. Mr. Curtis Williams, President of the Grove Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, will be the officiate. Committal prayers and internment will be directed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville by the Arnold Moore Funeral Service. Full military rites will be accorded Mr. Marling by the James H. Teel American Legion Post #105.
Mr. Marling will lie in state in the drawing rooms of The Arnold Moore Funeral Residence where friends may call for their visitation until the service hour on Monday afternoon.
Wayne Shriver Marling was born on July 30, 1921 at Cameron, WV. He was the son of Frank Howard Marling and Anna Blance (Shriver) Marling. Wayne came to Oklahoma with his family in 1927, and was reared and completed his education in the Bartlesville schools. Mr. Marling was enlisted in the United States Army in 1942 and served until his honorable discharge from the Army Air Force in 1945. He was a member of the O.S.S. Attachment 101, the forerunner of the C.I.A. Wayne and the former Miss Emma Lelia Welch were united in marriage on June 15, 1946 in Independence, Kan., and made their home in Bartlesville. Wayne and his brother, Frank operated the Marling and Marling Construction Company for over 46 years. Wayne was retired in 1985, and he and Emma moved to the Bernice community to live in retirement.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Lelia (Welch) Marling of the home in Bernice; his sons, Larry W. Marling, San Diego, Calif., Robert and his wife, Claudine Marling, Okesa, Okla., and Daniel Marling, Bartlesville; a daughter, Mrs. Sharon L. (Marling) and Steve Emert, Bartlesville; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a brother Frank L. and his wife, Jackie Marling, Ketchum, Okla. He is also survived by a special friend, Jim Stewart and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; father; two brothers, John A. and William Kenneth Marling; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Lowe; and two great grandchildren, Faith Nicole and Clinton Marling.

LINDA LEE MITCHELL
1948-2005
GROVE, Okla. - Linda Lee Mitchell, 57, died Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at Integris Grove General Hospital.
Linda Mitchell was born on January 12, 1948 in Halstead, Kansas to Homer Leroy and Constance Lee (Johnson) Unruh. She earned a Bachelor’s of Music Degree and was a lifelong lover of music and children. Linda was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Grove. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1989 from Houston, Texas. She then moved to Grove in 1999.
Survivors include one daughter, Heather Sue Mitchell of Durham, N. Carolina; her father, Homer Unruh of Grove; one sister, Julie Unruh of Grove.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2005 at Grace Presbyterian Church in Grove.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 4606 E. 67th St., Bldg. 7, Suite 103, Tulsa, Ok. 74136, 918-488-0882.
Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Ok.

KASSIDY JERRAY PROCTOR
JAY, Okla. – Kassidy Jerray Proctor came into the world on March 28, 2005 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
Kassidy was the daughter of Keith Jeremy and Rachel Sue (Dry) Proctor. Other family members include her grandparents, Homer Dry, Jr., Linda Dry, Sequoyah Proctor, Jr. and Phyllis Proctor; aunts and uncles, Jennifer Haikey, Angela Dry, Dewayne Proctor, Deborah Proctor and Kyle Proctor.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2005 at Sycamore Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Lewis Ross and Rev. Woodrow Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Euwasha Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma.

CAROLINE BAKER
1909-2005
GROVE, Okla. – Caroline Baker, 96, of Grove, died at Grove Nursing Center Wednesday, April 20 after a long illness.
She was born February 10, 1909, at Mill Grove, Missouri to Ira and Letha (Evans) Coon. She married Howard F. Baker on January 3, 1931 and was a homemaker. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons; George Baker of Riverdale, Georgia, and Charles Baker of Grove; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7 at Community of Christ Church in Grove, with Pastor Nolan Scarberry officiating. Arrangements provided by Adcock Funeral Home of Fairland.

DONALD J. BRAMMER
1925-2005
ZENA, Okla. - Donald J. Brammer of Zena died at 5:02 p.m., Fri. April 29 at the Integris Grove General Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home. He was 79.
Brammer was born on July 12, 1925 in Euclid, MN to Martin G. and Edna (Theisen) Brammer. He graduated from the Tech Minnesota High School with the class of 1943, and later obtained an engineering degree in 1939 from University of Minnesota.
He had served in the European Theater during World War II in the Army from 1943 until 1945, and returned to this area from New Orleans in 1984. He was a member of the Grove American Legion and the Audubon Society of Grove, and a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Miami.
He married Claire Zilar on December 24, 1950 in Miami, Okla. and she survives of the home. Additional survivors include three sons and their wives Dr. Douglas Eric Brammer and his wife Janelle of Vinita, Dr. David Dean Brammer and his wife Ellen of Rockville, Maryland, and Philip Kirk Brammer and wife Amanda, Mandeville, LA.; two brothers, Lawrence Brammer and wife Marion of Seattle, WA., and Rev. David Brammer and wife Dolly of Tonawanda, New York, and seven grandchildren.
Memorial Services were held Tues., May 3 at 2 p.m. at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church with Pastor Don Kirchhoff officiating. Burial followed in the G.A.R. Cemetery under the direction of the Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home of Miami.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mount Olive Lutheran Church Special Fund, 2337 North Main Street, Miami, OK 74354.

PATSY LAFERN BUSTER
1932-2005
GROVE, Okla. - Patsy Buster age 73 of Grove, OK, died Friday April 29, 2005 in the Grove Nursing Center. The daughter of Denver Murray and Jesse Sixkiller Murray, she was born on March 22, 1932 in the Butler area of Grove, OK. Patsy married Leonard Barnhart in 1949 and they lived in Oklahoma City until his death in 1982. She later moved to Grove and married George Buster. He preceded her in death in 2002. Patsy was a member of the Butler Baptist Church, a homemaker and a lover of Nature. She is a member of the Cherokee Tribe. One son John Fredrick Barnhart preceded her in death.
Survivors include: her mother Jessie Bea Sixkiller Doublehead in Grove, OK; daughters Lynn Barnhart Miller in Yukon, OK, Rae Barnhart Wheeler in Harrah, OK, and Lisa Barnhart Loyd in Grove, OK; sisters Ruth Murray Lemaster, Juanita Murray Fletcher both in Grove; brothers Raymond Murray in Amarillo Tx, Lloyd Doublehead in Arkansas, and Jeff Doublehead in Grove, OK; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:00 am on Monday, May 2, 2005 in the Worley-Luginbuel Chapel. The interment will be in the Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK. There will be a visitation for family and friends on Sunday from 6 to 7 pm. The funeral is under the directions of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK.

MARJORIE WRISTON CARPENTER
1907-2005
GROVE, Okla. – Marjorie Wriston Carpenter, 97, of Grove and formerly of Mooreland, died Friday, April 29 in Grove. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 3 in the First Christian Church in Woodward with Dr. Kipp Wolfe officiating. Internment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home of Woodward.
Carpenter was born in Woodward County, Oklahoma on November 5, 1907. She was the sixth of eight children born to George Lee and Viola Scott Wriston. Her childhood was spent on the family homestead near Cedardale, Oklahoma. She attended Alva Normal College, after which she taught at local grade schools and in a consolidated school at Quinlan.
On July 25, 1930 she married James Ira Carpenter. They had four children and farmed and ranched southwest of Mooreland in Woodward County. Marjorie was a charter member of the Cedardale Christian Church, which laid the foundation for her strong faith in God and guided her throughout her life. After her husband passed away in 1977, she moved to Mooreland and became a member of the First Christian Church of Woodward. She enjoyed a group of close friends and was active in the Mooreland Senior Center. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed quilting, reading, and writing poetry. She was a treasure to her family, a friend, and an inspiration to all who knew her.
In 2002, she moved to Grove, Oklahoma to be closer to her family, and there she passed peacefully on Friday.
She is survived by her four children, Ruth Camerer and husband Keith of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Lois Williams of Grove, Roger Carpenter and wife Linda of Bartlesville, and Keith Carpenter and wife Jeneda of Iola, Kansas; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
Carpenter was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and all of her siblings.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in honor of Marjorie Carpenter to the Good Shepherd Hospice with the Billings Funeral Home, 1621 Downs Avenue, Woodward, Oklahoma 73801 accepting the donations.

BETTY D. MILLER
1926-2005
Betty Miller, age 78, died Saturday April 30, 2005 at the Grove General Hospital. She was born on July 17, 1926 in Arkansas. Betty married Robert Lee Miller and he preceded her in death on December 31, 1995. They lived in Miami, OK where she was a member of the Bethany Christian Church. She later attended the First Christian Church in Grove. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson Jason James Wright.
Surviving
3 children Judy Rowe and husband David, Jimmy Miller and wife Deborah, and Nina Jones and husband Kenneth
A sister Martha Carey
7 grandchildren Robert Eugene Wright, Joshua Michael Rowe, Colby Miller, Adrianne Miller, Krista Foster, Billy Corn, and David Gene Surelles
9 great grandchildren Amanda, Jarred, Victoria, Shaylee, Madiline, Braxton, Mayson, Megan,and Seth
The funeral will be on Wednesday May 4, 2005 at 2 pm in the Worley-Luginbuel Chapel. The interment will be in the Buzzard Cemetery. There will be a visitation for family and friends at 6 pm on Tuesday. The funeral is under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Bethany Christian Church, 2127 N. Main, Miami, OK 74354.
