BRYON LEROY ARNOLD, JR.
1959-2005
Bryon Leroy Arnold, Jr., 45, resident of Kansas, Oklahoma died Sunday, may 29, 2005 at his home. Born December 4, 1959 in Springfield, Missouri, he was the son of Bryon Leroy Arnold, Sr. and Norma Lee. He had lived in the community for eleven years and was disabled. Before moving to Kansas he lived in Buffalo, Missouri where he was a truck driver and kennel broker. He attended the Seventh day Adventist Church in Springdale. He married Sharon K. Layton on April 12, 1980 in Springfield.
Survivors include his wife Sharon of the home, two sons, Blazer Arnold and Marcus Paige of Kansas, three daughters, Bambi Arnold of Muskogee, Tasha Arnrold and Breezy Arnold both of Kansas. Five Grandchildren, Anissa Arnold, Daniel Zuniga, Nevaeh Zuniga, Andrew Fleege, and Alexander Fleege, one brother Steve Arnold of Quawpaw, two sisters, Deborah Paige or Springfield, Sheila Arnold of Branson and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Springdale, Arkansas with pastor Jerry Mayes officiating. Crematio will follow. A visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

G.M. “MARGE” FAIR
1921-2005
G.M. “Marge” Fair, 83, of Bernice passed away late Saturday afternoon May 28, 2005 at Grand Lake Villa in Grove. Marge was born on July 21, 1921 in Berman, Arkansas to Ed and Essie Harris. She was a hair dresser and later became an apartment manager. Marge was of the Episcopal faith, and past president of the V.F.W. women’s auxiliary.
Marge leaves as surviving her daughter Roberta “Sunny” Essary and husband Don of Bernice. One brother; Marvin Harris and wife Pricilla of Berrryville, Arkansas. Two nephews Tom Harris and wife Betty of Cassville, Missouri and Pat Harris and wife Karen of Atlanta, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at Ballard Cemetery in Bernice with Pastor Steven Decker and Pastor Gene Jones officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Burckhalter Funeral Home in Vinita.

Murray Looney
1914- 2005
Murray Looney retired chief electrician of the 1st National Bank building in Oklahoma City. Mr. Looney died Sunday May 29, 2005 at Bartlesville, Ok. at the age of 90. He was born July 20, 1914.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday June 2, 2005 at the ROW Cemetery in Colcord, Ok. Services under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.

W. H. “BILL” LYBROOK
1921-2005
W. H. Lybrook, 84, Grove Resident, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Grove Nursing Center following an extended illness.
W. H. was born September 17, 1921 in Shirley, Arkansas to William H. and Maggie Lybrook. He was a graduate of Shirley high School. “Bill” was a retired banker, having worked at several banks in Southern California before moving to Grove from Bellflower, California in the 1987. He was a charter member of the Elks Lodge in Bellflower and later became a member of the Grove Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge in Grove with a total of 25 years membership in each. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and the V. F. W.
W. H. was united in marriage to Dorothy Layman in 1945. She preceded him in death. His parents, one son, Gary Dean Lybrook and two brothers also preceded him in death.
Surviving family members include: one daughter; Janice Watkins of Inola, two granddaughters; Donna Sims and Debbie Lemaster, four great grandchildren; Ashton Lemaster, Casey Sims, Trenton and Trevor Lemaster.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at the Turner Funeral Chapel, 722 NW 46th street in Grove.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at the Turner Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Olympus Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to turner Funeral Chapel of Grove.

RAY TAYLOR
1926-2005
Ray Taylor, 79, resident of Gentry, Arkansas, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005,in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Born January 6, 1926, in Gentry, he was the son of Alfred Taylor and Mary Francis Norfleet Taylor. Ray had lived in Gentry since 1970, and formerly had lived in Clouds Creek Community in Delaware County, Oklahoma. Ray married Norma Margie Scott in 1945, at Cherokee City. He was a retired Benton County road employee and a bus driver for Jay Public Schools. Ray was a member of the Colcord Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by two sons; Billy Gene Taylor and Donny Ray Taylor and a daughter, Mary Lou Sullivan.
Survivors include his wife Norma of the home; two granddaughters, Shelley Jackson and husband Brad of Gentry; Christina Holbert of Parsons, Kansas; and to great grandsons.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 1, 6 through 7:30 p.m. at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2005 at Dickson Cemetery with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will follow.

KEITH BRIAN ELLIS
1962-2005
Keith Brian Ellis, 42, a lifetime resident of Colcord, Oklahoma died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born July 1, 1962 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to J.C. Ellis and Burl Spencer. Keith married Melissa Ranae Jevne in Colcord, Oklahoma in 1996. He held an associate degree from Okmulgee Tech and was a full-time student at Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, a part-time instructor at the Northeastern Area Vocational School in Kansas, Oklahoma, and a member of the Colcord Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife Melissa Jevne-Ellis of the home; one son Levi Ellis and one grandson Jackson Ellis both of Indianapolis, Indiana; his mother Burl Ellis Van Dyke and husband Gayland of Decatur, Arkansas; 5 brothers, Lex Ellis of Rogers, Arkansas, Tracy Ellis of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Clark, Steve, and Kevin Ellis all of Colcord, Oklahoma; two stepbrothers, Stephen Van Dyke of Jefferson, Texas, and Phillip Van Dyke of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma; three stepsisters, Melody Panzer of Houston, Texas, Melisa Weygandt of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Vanessa Wendt of Hayworth, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 2, 2005, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Mr. Larry Ellis and Mr. Tracy Ellis officiating. LEO BIBLE
1922-2005
VINITA, Okla. – The Rev. Leo Bible, 83, of Vinita, died Thursday, June 30, at the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Claremore, Okla.
He was born June 7, 1922 in Craig County to James E. and Mary E. (Ard) Bible. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army.
He married Viola M. McDaniel June 6, 1953 in Tulsa, Okla.
Rev. Bible pastored the United Pentecostal Church of Chelsea ten years, the Vinita United Pentecostal Church 20 years, and was the Associate Pastor of Timber Ridge three years. He also managed the Greyhound Bus Terminal for six years. He worked as an auto mechanic for about 60 years, and was considered the best transmission mechanic in Vinita.
He loved his grandchildren and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Viola, of the home; daughters and sons-in-law Mary Ruth and Bud Davis of Broken Arrow, and Kay and Tim Berklay of Vinita; sons and daughters-in-law Larry and Theresa Bible of Broken Arrow, Jim and Mary Alice Bible of Adair, and Osena Frits of Chelsea, a brother, Kenneth Bible of Vinita, 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a very special family friend, Bobby Dawes; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
His parents, James and Mary Bible; two sisters, Esther Land and Florence Griffen; three brothers, Lloyd Bible, Hugh Bible, and Everett Bible, preceded him in death.
The family received friends Monday, July 4 at the Apostolic Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 5 at the Craig County Baptist Church. Bible was buried at Fairview Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Burckhalter Funeral Home of Vinita.

WAYNE EAMES
1935-2005
WYANDOTTE, Okla. – Wayne Eames, 70, of Wyandotte, died Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Integris Grove General Hospital.
He was born February 25, 1935 in Eureka Springs, Ark., to the late Earl and Elsie Amos Eames.
Eames was a Marine during the Korean War, and he was a Christian.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Charlene Brannon Eames; one stepson, Carl Brannon of Springdale; two stepdaughters, Linda Scott of Fayetteville, and Patricia Been of Springdale; three sisters, Jo Ann Ball of Eureka Springs, Betty Meeks of Bentonville, and Julia Benson of Eureka Springs. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 5 at Rollins Funeral Home, 1401 Hudson Rd. in Rogers, Ark.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 6 at Union Cemetery, with Jack Anglin officiating.

ILENA M. OWENS
1936-2005
AFTON, Okla. – Ilena M. Owens, 68, of Afton, died July 2 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Mo. Memorial services will be Wednesday, July 6 at 2 p.m. at the Afton First Christian Church, with Mr. Rick Kyles officiating.
The daughter of Manley W. and Iluff M. Bridges Thompson, Ilena was born December 29, 1936 in Albany, Mo. She was united in marriage to Roger D. Owens, and he preceded her in death November 30, 1996. Mrs. Owens was a homemaker, and had been employed as a secretary. She attended the Afton First Christian Church, loved to cook, and enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include a son, Rickard C. Owens of Afton; two daughters, Vicki Dennison of Shirley, Ark., and Cassandra Eastgate of Lakeside, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Rikki, Michael, Megan, Vanessa, and Justin; one sister, Zelda Shaul of Grove; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Owens was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronald Thompson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of Ellis Funeral Home, 107 S. Broadway, Grove, Okla.
Services are entrusted to Ellis Funeral Home, Grove, Okla.

William "Bill" Hale
1930-2005
HALE -- William "Bill", 74, passed away July 30, 2005 in Dallas, TX. The long time Tulsa resident was born December 22, 1930. After the loss of his parents, he resided at the Sand Springs Children's Home. He was a 9 year Army Veteran, and served in the Korean War. He was also the loving father of Lillian Kaye McClendon, Donna L. Shipley of Kansas City, MO, Lisa and husband, Jeff Richey of Dallas, TX, Bill Hale, Jr. and wife, Tawny Hale of California. Also survived by grandchildren, Mekala Smith, Michael and Elijah McClendon, Jessica Hale, Stephanie and Kimberly Richey, Melissa Blevins, Dakotah, Maci, and Rilee Hale. He was the great-grandfather to 9 precious children. Retiring the last 10 years of his life in Hilo, Hawaii, he recently moved back to the mainland to reside in Grove, OK. He was preceded in death by: his brothers, Loren and Eugene Hale; and his niece, Barbara Goad. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family is asking that donations be made to your local hospice. Graveside service will be held at Rosehill Memorial Park Cemetery at 1 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2005. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Chouteau, Dr. Callicoat and all of the doctors, nurses and staff at Grove General Hospital for their care and compassion to our loved one.

LULA E. BECK
1915-2005
Lula Elrena Beck, 90 year-old resident of Colcord, Oklahoma, died July 26, 2005 in Rose, Oklahoma. Born June 8, 1915 in Jennings, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of John King and Nan Blagg King. She was a homemaker and worked for Plus Poultry and was a nurses' aid at Woodland manor in Siloam Springs. She was a member of Countryside Bibel Church in Colcord, where she was a crive in the ladies quilting group. Lula was preceded in death by her husband Ross Beck in October, 1998, and one infant son, Dennis Levine Beck.
Survivors include four sons, Charles "Zenith" Beck of Mary Del, Delaware, Ross Gale Beck of Wellington, Kansas; four daughters, Laveta Joyce Coker of Colcord, Janice Coleen Cloan of Peggs, Brenda Kay Sinor of Leach and Rhonda Jean Hollenback of Oaks; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and one sister-in-law, Deamer Thompson of Siloam Springs.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2005 at the Draper Community Center, Colcord, Oklahoma with Brother Edward Billups and Brother Loren Scott Beck officiating. Burial will follow at Row Cemetery in Colcord.
Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, July 31, 2005 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
