HARVEY L. DICKINSON
1927-2006
PITTSBURG - Harvey L. Dickinson, 78, of Pittsburg, Kan., died Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Cornerstone Village in Pittsburg.
He was born July 22, 1927 in Pittsburg, the son of Perry and Marion Fish Dickinson. Mr. Dickinson was manager of the A&P Grocery Store in Pittsburg for 23 years. He moved to Grove, Okla., in 1979 where he was employed by Farrier’s Grocery Store until his retirement. He was united in marriage to Lora Jean Scott in 1947 in Pittsburg. He was then united in marriage to Lorraine Netalini in 1974 and she preceded him in death in 2003. He was a member of the First Christian Church on Grove.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Frasier of Joplin, Mo;. and a son Randy Dickinson of Pittsburg. There are also surviving: three grandchildren, Adrianne White, Alexandra Ross and Dannille Dickinson; two sisters, Ruby Tocci of Pittsburg, and Eva Marie Aldridge of Pittsburg. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine Netalini; two brothers, Marvin Dickinson and Albert Dickinson; and a sister, Pearl Clark.
Graveside services will be Thursday, February 9, at 2 p.m., at the Buzzard Cemetery, Grove, with Dr. Wayne Shaw officiating. Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, 711 S. Main, Grove.

LONNIE DALE FISHER
1950-2006
DISNEY, Okla. – Lonnie Dale Fisher, 55, of Disney, passed away late Sunday night, January 1, at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. Lonnie was born on February 12, 1950, in Vinita, Okla., to Albert and Millie (Sparks) Fisher.
Lonnie was a carpenter, and loved working in his wood shop and spending time with his family. On April 12, 1994, Lonnie was united in marriage to Sharon S. Marshall.
Lonnie leaves as surviving: his wife, Sharon, of the home; children, Gus Fisher and wife Angel, of Jay, Gary Tuggle of Tulsa, Shelly Rogers and husband, Rick, of Peggs, Okla., Alicia Hasting of Adair, Okla., Janette Leaf and husband Paul of Salina, Okla., and Christy Rutter of Claremore, Okla.; 11 grandchildren, Stephanie, Rachelle, Amy, Nichole, Natalie, Natasha, Nesha, Brittney, Cole, Bailey, Weaver, Eli and Kalin; one great grandchild, Riley James Dale; brothers, Short Fisher and wife, Donna of Disney, Bob Fisher and wife Jean of Orlando, Fla.; three nieces and four nephews.
Lonnie was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2006, at 2 p.m., at Military Cemetery in Langley, Okla., with Bro. Tommy Hopper officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Keith Condray, Kenny Branstetter, Stewart Jeffers, Larry Schaller, Mike Martin and Jeff Weaver. Honorary bearer is Leroy Branstetter.
Services are entrusted to Turner Funeral Chapels of Langley.

GERALD VERNON FRAKES
1917-2006
GROVE – Gerald Vernon Frakes, 88-year-old Grove resident, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, March 13, 2006.
Gerald was born on October 13, 1917, in Tulsa, Okla., to Henry Brandenberg Frakes and Estella May (Hedgecock) Frakes. He was a graduate of East Central High School in Tulsa. Gerald was a retired Dairy Farmer and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Southwest City, Mo.
Gerald was united in marriage to Clarice Bell Dick on October 20, 1943, at Allewe, Okla. They moved to the Grove area in 1966 from Craig County.
Surviving family members include: his wife Clarice of the home; two daughters, Judy Sandell and husband David of Grove; Ginger Herschbach and husband David of Grove; one son, Garry Roger Frakes and wife Maria of Rogers, Ark.; one sister, Lafaun Jones of Bartlesville, Okla.; two brothers, Leon Frakes of East Tulsa, Okla.; Dale Frakes of Tulsa; five grandchildren, Carrie Anne Husong, John David Sandell, Nicholas Scott Frakes, Benjamin Reilly Frakes, and Timothy Hercshbach; one step-grandson, Greg Wise; three great-grandchildren, Hannah Lynn Frakes, Ty Reilly Frakes, Breck Husong; and one step-great grandchildren, Bridget Ann Wise.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 17, at the First Baptist Church in Grove. Pastor Ray Clanton and Pastor Lloyd Crawford will officiate. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Viewing hours will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday and 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the church before service.
Services are entrusted to Turner Funeral Chapel, 722 N.W. 46th Street, Grove, 918-787-2444.

NATHAN GANN
1929-2006
JAY, Okla. - Nathan Orville Gann of Jay died Thursday February 9, 2006 at the Integris Grove General Hospital Grove, Okla. He was 76.
Nathan was born December 9, 1929 to Henry Gann and Silvia Rockwood in Delaware County, Oklahoma. He worked various jobs in the community including auto mechanics. Nathan enjoyed music and played with Lonnie and the Loners.
Survivors include his son, Henry Gann, and his ex-wife Martha Gann both of Jay; two sisters, Stella Schoonover of Wichita, Kan., and Wilma Clark of Jay; one brother, John Gann of Arizona.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, February 13, at the First Baptist Church in Jay with Rev. Ray Clanton officiating. Interment will follow at the Southwest City Cemetery, Southwest City, Mo.
Services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.

THOMAS OWEN GARNER
1919-2006
GROVE, Okla. - Thomas Owen Garner of Grove, Okla. died Thursday January 12, 2006 at the Integris Grove General Hospital at the age of 86.
Thomas was born June 18, 1919 to Oscar and Mary (Crawford) Garner in Delaware County, Okla. Thomas attended school at Drumright, Okla. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He married Lillie Loreen Garner November 12, 1938 at Shawnee, Okla. He drove a truck for Dresser Engineering in Tulsa for over 31 years. Thomas enjoyed fishing, going to livestock shows and ballgames with his grandchildren.
Survivors include: his wife Loreen of Grove. One daughter: Brenda JoAnn Houston of Grove. One sister Katheryn Wathen of Lawton, Okla. Three grandchildren: Shane Johnson and wife Carolyn, Sheldon Johnson and Glenna Lennon. Three great grandchildren: Ross Hanes, Kyle Johnson, Jackie Morgan. Two great-great grandchildren: Hailey Morgan and Rilley Hanes.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday January 16, 2006 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Interment will follow at the Olympus Cemetery in Grove. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

FRANCES O. GIBSON
1908-2006
VINITA, Okla. - Frances O. Gibson, 97 of Vinita passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Rosewood Terrace Nursing Center. Frances was born on September 4, 1908 in Centralia, Missouri to John L. and Hattie B. (Trausher) Skaggs.
Frances was a homemaker and office manager with Jones Chemical Company of Henderson, Nevada. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Grove and the Eastern Star of Jay, Oklahoma.
Survivors include her daughter Patricia A. Watson and husband Herbert of Banning, California, three grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter Gibson and her step-son James Gibson.
Private family services were held at Buzzard cemeteryin Grove, Oklahoma with Dr. Lee Hilliard officiating. Arrangements were by the Burckhalter Funeral Home of Vinita.

ROSALIE ANNE GOINS
1941 – 2006
JAY - Rosalie Anne Goins, 64-year old Jay, Okla., resident, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at her home following an extended illness.
Rosalie was born July 1, 1941 in Enid, Okla., to Fred and Phyllis (Schaffer) McWilliams. Rosalie worked as a hairdresser for 16 years in Collinsville, Okla., and also was a cafeteria cook at the Collinsville Middle School. She also owned and operated the Green Country Store in Eucha in 1974 and 1975. She was a member of the Faith Mission Church.
Rosalie was united in marriage to Ronald Keith Goins on September 8, 2003 in Miami, Okla.
Surviving family members include: her husband, Ronald of the home; one daughter, Teresa Lynn O’Brien and husband Butch of Eureka Springs, Ark., two sons, Robert Stacks of Kansas, Okla. and Ronnie Stacks and wife Debbie of Watts, Okla.; two sisters, Charlotte Patrick and husband James of Zena, Okla. and Maralie Studie of Collinsville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband James R. Stacks.
Funeral services will held at 10 a.m., Friday, February 3, at the Faith Mission Church in Jay. Rev. Chester Crittenden will officiate. Interment will be in Hilderbrand Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 2, at the Turner Funeral Chapel in Jay.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be make to the Faith Mission Church Building Fund.
Services are entrusted to Turner Funeral Chapel of Jay.

WILLIAM “BILL” ROGER GOSNELL
1941-2006
GROVE - William “Bill” Roger Gosnell, 64, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Integris Grove General Hospital.
Bill was born November 7, 1941 to Brown Gifford Gosnell and Jenirose (Dunhoff) Gosnell at Louisville, Ky. He moved to California at the age of four and spent the next 50 years of his life there. Bill served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1963. He returned to Orange County after his military service, met and later married Connie Annis on July 23, 1966 at Huntington Beach, Calif. The couple later moved to Prescott Valley, Ariz. for eight years before coming to Grove, Okla., in August of 2005. Bill was an experimental machinist 25 years working for TRW. After moving to Grove, he was a school bus driver and was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Grove.
Survivors include his wife, Connie of the home; one daughter, Carrie Bowlby of Grove; one brother, Robert “Bob” Gosnell of Yorba Linda, Calif.; one granddaughter, Cassidy Gosnell of Grove; and an aunt, Mayme Fielden of Cypress, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rosary will be held for Bill at 8:30 a.m., Friday, March 10, at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church. Funeral mass will follow at 9 a.m. with Father Alex Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Buzzard Cemetery under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.

MARY FARBER
1917-2006
GROVE - Mary Irene Farber of Grove, Okla. died Monday April 17, 2006 at the Grand Lake Villa Nursing Home in Grove. She was 88.
Mary was born September 1, 1917 to Vernon and Maggie (Jones) Van Sant at Douglas, Kan. She married Neal Farber September 1, 1938 at Derby, Kan. Mary worked at Montgomery Ward’s in El Dorado, Kan. as a bookkeeper until her retirement in 1972. She was a member of the Elk River Baptist Church in Grove. She enjoyed doing embroidery work and needle point.
Survivors include: her husband, Neal Farber of Grove; two daughters, Judith Hartshorn of Desota, Kan. and Joan Dawson of Bella Vista, Ark.; five grandchildren, Denise Landwehr, Deanna Mann, Douglas Dawson, Brock Hartshorn, and Neal Hartshorn; six great grandchildren; and one sister, Margie Scholdburg of Silver City, NM. She was preceded in death by five brothers, and six sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday April 19, at the El Paso Cemetery in Derby, Kan., with Winifred Heersche officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Ellis Funeral Home in Grove, 107 Broadway.
