Clara Marie Etta Harper
Clara Marie Etta Harper, 98, of Medford, died Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at a local foster care home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Clara was born on February 21, 1907 at Coleridge, Nebraska, to John and Sophia Schwartz. On October 6, 1926 in Tulare, South Dakota, she married Nathan "Steve" Harper, who preceded her in death. They moved to Oregon in 1934.

Survivors include her sons, James Harper of Medford, Merle Harper of Trail; two brothers, Orval Schwartz of Central Point, Elmer Schwartz of Wessington, South Dakota; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Don; one sister; four brothers; and one great-grandson.

Kenneth "Ken" Robert Weissgerber
A memorial service for Kenneth "Ken" Robert Weissgerber will be at 2 p.m. today, Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, at Grace Wesleyan Church, 1123 E. Jackson, Medford. Pastor Kerry Rainey will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, Grace Wesleyan Church, Medford.

Mr. Weissgerber, 71, of Medford, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005 in Medford.

He was born on April 12, 1934 in Chicago, IL. On Sept. 11, 1982 in Santa Anna, CA, he married Mary Jane, who survives. They moved to Medford 14 years ago from Tustin, CA.

Mr. Weissgerber served in the U.S. Air Force, serving in Laone, France during the Korean war.

He worked as a materiel manager for Hughes Aircraft for 30 years, retiring in 1988. He was the president of the Management Club, at Hughes Aircraft.

Mr. Weissgerber coached boxing for Pedrojetti's Bulldog Boxing for years in Medford and played fast pitch softball for many years for Hughes Aircraft Company in Newport Beach. He taught Jr. Achievement classes to 4th and 5th graders in the Central Point School District, and coached football and baseball for kids.

In addition to his wife, Mary, survivors include a son, Kenneth Dale Weissgerber; daughters, Dorothy Lynn Weissgerber, Julie Ann Weissgerber, Judi Ann Weissgerber, Janelle Elizabeth Weissgerberger, and Gina Marie MacQueen, all of California; and seven grandchildren, Jason, Kenny, Cole, Ashley, John, Savannah, and Luke.

Arrangements: Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, Medford.

Richard Lee Osborn
Richard Lee Osborn, age 56, of Medford, died unexpectedly November 4, 2005.

Services are scheduled for 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, at the Presbyterian Church of the Roses in Santa Rosa, California.

Richard was the loving father of Alison Osborn Grant. He is also survived by granddaughter, Anna Grant of Tuscon, Arizona; mother, Eleanor Osborn of Birmingham, Michigan; sisters, Victoria Matishen of Somerdale, New Jersey and Joan Henkle of Carmel, Indiana; and brother, Mark Osborn of Palo Alto, California. He was the uncle to six and great-uncle to three. He is also survived by Beverly Swift of Santa Rosa, California. Rick was a beloved, longtime friend to an extraordinary number of people including extended family members and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Osborn of Birmingham, Michigan.

Anita Marie Loftis
Anita Marie Loftis, 46, passed away November 8, 2005. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2005. A potluck will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Eagle Point Senior Center, 121 Loto St., Eagle Point.

Betty J. Jarvis
Betty J. Jarvis, 89, died November 11, 2005 in Eagle Point. She was born on February 26, 1916 in Bandon, Oregon. Arrangements: Perl Funeral Home & Siskiyou Memorial Park.

Jason Russell Fenton
Jason Russell Fenton, 26, of Medford, (formerly of Sacramento, CA) went to be with our Lord Jesus, Nov. 3, 2005.

Survivors include his parents, Leann and Laryn Murray of Sacramento; his grandparents; his brothers; his sisters; many loving relatives; and friends.

To know Jason was to love him. He will be sorely missed here on earth.

A memorial service to celebrate Jason's life will be on Thurs., Nov. 10, 2005 in Sacramento.

JoAnn Kreutzer
JoAnn Kreutzer passed away peacefully in Medford on Thursday, November 3, 2005, at the age of 63.

JoAnn was born on July 25, 1942, in Fort Worth, Texas, to James R. and Marion Saunders. She was raised in Menlo Park, CA, and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duschene University in Nebraska in 1964. She was a devoted and loving mom who raised two children, Rhonda and Brett, in Ashland. She taught Kindergarten in the Ashland school district from 1981 to 1997. On July 11, 1992, she married her soul mate, Don Kreutzer, in Ashland, and they moved to Medford the following year.

JoAnn was a member of American Association of University Women, participated in fundraisers for American Cancer Society, and volunteered at the Tudor Guild. She was generous and kind, loved to celebrate life, and was always willing to help others. She also loved to travel, especially to Hawaii.

JoAnn is survived by her husband, Don of Medford; her daughter, Rhonda (Johnson) Buck and Rhonda's husband, David of Ridgefield, WA; her son, Brett Johnson and Brett's wife, Dawn of Hermosa Beach, CA; fourteen grandchildren; and her brother, James R. Saunders, M.D., of Piedmont, CA.

Gone is the face we loved so dear. Silent is the one we loved to hear. Too far away for sight or speech, but not too far for thoughts to reach. Sweet memories for the one once here, though absent is just as dear. From first words to last, this verse is for JoAnn, It captures the essence of loss and expresses the continuing joy of sweet memories left behind. She loved her family and friends and in her heart they will stay.

A private family service was held. Memorial contributions may be made to Ashland Hospice.

Kenneth D. Schubert
Kenneth D. Schubert, 83, of Medford passed away November 5, 2005.

A graduate of Battleground Washington High School, Kenneth enlisted in the U.S. Army in September of 1941 and served in England, Italy and North Africa during World War II. After 30 years as a transportation supervisor with the United States Civil Services on the California desert at the Naval Weapons Center at China Lake, Kenneth returned to the Northwest, settling in Medford in 1977. During his retirement, Kenneth volunteered as an usher at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was an avid fisherman.

Kenneth is survived by a sister, Dorothy of El Centro, CA; a brother, Clair, of Allen, Nebraska; sons, Richard of Pahrump, NV; Daniel, of La Mirada, CA; and Francis, of Long Beach, CA; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Catherine, his wife for 57 years.

Arrangements by Perl Funeral Home and internment at Siskiyou Memorial Park.

Milton "Milt" D. Singler
Milton "Milt" D. Singler, son of Richard and Velma Singler; grandson of August and Rose, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2005. No service is planned.

He was born on June 19, 1926 in Medford, where he lived all his life. On July 3, 1947 he married Grace Morse, who survives, they had four children, Peggy Wright, Rick Singler, Gary Singler, and Scott Singler.

Mr. Singler worked at the Medford Post Office as a letter carrier for 35 years.

He enjoyed Nascar and raced locally in the stock cars with his sons.

In addition to his wife, Grace, of 58 years, suriviors include 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ascencion Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 1606, Medford, OR 97501.

Ralph E. Chumley
Ralph E. Chumley, 88, of Medford, died Saturday (Nov. 5, 2005) in Medford with his loving family by his side. A private military service is planned.

Ralph was born on Sept. 20, 1917 in Mansfield, AR to William and Loeva Chumley. On June 8, 1940 in Mansfield, Arkansas he married Vivian Livingston who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1978.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and twice received the Bronze Star Medal. He retired from Adohr Milk Farm in California after 37 years.

In addition to his wife, Vivian of 65 years, survivors include, his son, Ronald and his wife Lana; and grandson, Ryan and his wife Angela. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to; the Foothill Baptist Church Building Fund, 2722 Springbrook Road, Medford, OR 97504.

Roberta Jones Mosurak
A funeral for Roberta Jones Mosurak will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2005 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford. Pastor Stan Way of Cornerstone Christian Church will officiate. A viewing will be from 3 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Mosurak, 76, of Medford, died Saturday (Nov. 5, 2005) in Medford.

She was born on Aug. 12, 1929 in Clemenceau, AZ. She married James Mosurak who preceded her in death in 2004. They moved to Medford in 1990 from Klamath Falls where she had lived most of her life.

Mrs. Mosurak was co-owner of House of Fireplaces since 1981, retiring at age 62.

She was a member of the Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church in Klamath Falls.

Mrs. Mosurak enjoyed crafts, and needlepoint.

Survivors include her son, Greg E. Jones of Medford; step-sons, Jack Mosurak of Indiana, and James H. L. Mosurak of Klamath Falls; her daughter, Rebecca L. Jones of Medford; step-daughter, Cheryl Hilton of Gainesville, FL; daughter-in-law, Katherine A. Jones of Medford; her sisters, Ruby Ralston of Tualatin, OR and Jennie Carson of Cottonwood, AZ; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford.

Ruth Pauline Donaldson
Ruth Pauline Donaldson, 86, of Medford, died November 7, 2005 at Rogue Valley Manor Health Center.

A funeral mass will be Friday, November 11, 2005 at 10 a.m at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Ruth was born on June 5, 1919 in Great Falls, MT. She graduated from Great Falls High School and attended Montana State. On December 24, 1941 in Petersburg, VA she married Norman Donaldson.

Ruth worked for General Electric in Office Administration, later she and her husband started and operated a carnival business providing fund raising services to schools, churches, military and other charitable organizations. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1995 from Arroyo Grande, CA.

A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, she was active in parish churches and children's schools. Ruth enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Fagan of Freano, CA; a son, Steven of Anaheim, CA; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are with Perl Funeral Home.

Anita M. Loftis
Anita Marie Loftis, 46, of Gold Hill, died Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at her residence. Arrangements will be announced by Memory Gardens Mortuary in Medford.
