Kimberly Ann Bay
Feb. 25, 1973 - Nov. 21, 2003 Kimberly Ann Bay, 30, of Medford died Friday (Nov. 21, 2003) at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at the Moose Lodge, 3031 W. Harvard Ave. in Roseburg.

Kimberly was born on Feb. 25, 1973 in Coos Bay, OR to Timothy and Pamela (Schmidt) Bay. She moved to Myrtle Creek when she was 4 years old. She attended and graduated from South Umpqua High School where she played volleyball and was involved in the choir. Kimberly moved to Medford in 1998. She worked in specialty packing for Harry & David. She enjoyed cooking and going to the park with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Luanne Bay of Medford; mother, Pamela Bay of Myrtle Creek; brother, Kevin Bay of Myrtle Creek; half brother, Dennis Bay of Myrtle Creek; half sister, Denise Bay of Arizona; and her companion, William Barnwell of Medford. Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Timothy, in 1993.

Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund established for Rebecca in Kimberly's name in care of Abbey Funeral, 2680 N.Pacific Hwy., Medford 97501.

Madge Ashton Chez
Madge Ashton Chez, 97, died peacefully at the home of son, Joe Chez, in Sacramento, California on November 20, 2003.

She was born to Earll and Mary Ashton in Ogden, Utah on July 15, 1906. Beloved widow of Fred L. Chez, she was married for over 60 years. In 1999, she moved from her home of 53 years in Medford to live with her son Joe and his wife Doris in Sacramento.

Son Fred E. Chez and his wife Jonita live in Los Gatos. Devoted grandmother of Karen Chez (husband Eddie Babcock and children Samantha and Brian), Leslie Tavernier (husband Clayton and children Joseph and Kristine) and Alison Bowman (husband Michael and children Shawn and Vincent). She was preceded in death by her sisters, Adelaide Carrothers and Edythe Carroll.

Madge was proud of her family who called her "Grams." She showered them with love, generosity and was a great inspiration to all.

In Medford, she was a member of P.E.O and the Presbyterian Church. She collected friends wherever she went with her warm greetings, great sense of humor, hugs and great concern for others. Per her request, there will be no service. She lived her life as a devoted Christian and asked that those who knew her offer a brief personal prayer.

Minnie Naoma Robertson
A memorial service for Minnie Naoma Robertson will be held Friday, November 28, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Northridge Assisted Living Center. Les Connell will officiate. Burial will be at Eagle Point National Cemetary. Mrs. Robertson, 93, of Medford, died Monday (Nov. 24, 2003) at Northridge Center.

She was born August 20, 1910 in Carter, Arkansas, a daughter of Benjamin and Nora (Mustin) McDaniel. On June 2, 1940 in Lawrence, KS, she married Leslie B. Robertson, who preceded her in death. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1948 from Lawrence, KS.

Mrs. Robertson had been a teacher, teaching at the high school and college levels and also at the Robertson School of Business, in Kansas. She retired in 1975.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Medford and active in Garden Clubs, Contract Bridge and Faculty Women's Group.

Mrs. Robertson enjoyed Bible study, bridge and square dancing, of which she had been a caller and teacher.

Survivors include: 1 brother, Dale McDaniel of Douglas, AZ; 1 sister, Bertha Dugan of Lordsburg, NM; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Robertson; her parents; 3 brothers, Amos, Levi and Lester; and 2 sisters, Clara and Reva.

Rosalia May Gillispie
Rosalia May Gillispie, 94, of Medford, died Nov. 24, 2003 in Medford. The Graveside service will be held Friday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford.

Rosalia May Williams of Rankin, OK was born on Aug. 12, 1909, the daughter of Edwin Harvey and Lula May Williams. On December 19, 1928 in Canadian, TX, she married Delmar B. Gillispie. They moved to Medford from Reydon, OK in 1944. Delmar preceded her in death on May 1, 1978.

She was employed seasonally by Reter Fruit Co. for 26 years.

She enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, sewing and home decorating.

Survivors include: 4 daughters, Mayola Janene Watson of Medford, Alverna Roselene Biggs of Guthrie, OK, Leora Colene Guthrie of Medford, and Ruth Glorene Keen of Vancouver, WA; 2 sons, Edwin B. Gillispie of Renton, WA, and Maxwell D. Gillispie of Medford; 1 brother, Clarence Eugene Williams of Perry, OK; 3 sisters, Ina Ruby Cole of Oklahoma City, OK, Goldie Bell Parks of Sand Springs, OK, and Zella Opal Biggs of Guthrie, OK; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 grandchild and 2 brothers.

Shirley 'Meme' Southern The Funeral Mass for Shirley J. Southern will be held held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 at Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church, Ashland, with Rev. Joseph Betschart celebrant. Interment will follow in Mountain View cemetery, Ashland.
Shirley J. Southern, fondly known as "Meme", was known as a woman of great courage and inspiration. She died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003 at her home in Phoenix. She was born Nov. 30, 1925 in Little Falls, MN. On March 18, 1944 in Little Falls she married Donald Mrozek, who preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1995. She later married Jack Southern, who preceded her in death in 1998.

For many years she lived in San Diego, where she waitressed at the officers club at North Island Naval Air Station. She moved to Ashland where she lived from 1986 to 1990, later moving to Talent and Phoenix.

Mrs. Southern was a member of Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church.

She enjoyed cribbage, music, trips to Reno, and family gatherings. She also was involved in Senior Center activities.

Survivors include her companion, Bert Serrano, of Phoenix; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Catherine Mrozek of Ashland; son, Bruce Mrozek of San Diego, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Jim Ricketson of Henderson, NV; brothers, Jack and Dick Lonnee of St. Paul, MN and Milton Lonnee II of Garden Grove, CA; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Anita Wahinehookae
Anita Wahinehookae, age 88, of Central Point, died Sunday (Nov. 23, 2003) at her home.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at 2:30 p.m., at the Ashland Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She was born Dec. 29, 1915, at Honolulu, HI. She attended the University of Hawaii. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1981 from Hawaii.

Anita was a member of the Ashland Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She worked as a teachers aid.

Anita enjoyed gardening and sewing.

Survivors include her daughter, Valarie Hawkes; sons, Vernon, Lavern, and Wayne Lee; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, daughter, Patricia, two brothers and two sisters.

Goldie 'Shirley' Livingston A celebration of life will be held at Bethel Assembly of God Church today, Nov. 26, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. for Goldie Lee "Shirley" Livingston, who died on November 23, 2003, at the age of 77 in Portland, OR. Rev. Tim Olsen officiating.
Goldie "Shirley" was born on Feb 6, 1926, to the late Cornelia Lunsford and James W. Miller in Jessamine County, KY. She lived in the Rogue Valley for more than 40 years prior to moving to Portland due to illness.

Goldie enjoyed traveling, writing, scrapbook making, as well as many other hobbies. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Bethel Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include; sons, Larry Wade of Portland, Edward James (Ted) of Ashland; daughter, Lorna Kaleen of Portland; brothers, Truman and James of Illinois; sister, Lois of Lexington, KY; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Remembrances to: Bethel Assembly of God Missionaries, 1225 E. McAndrews Road, Medford, OR 97504.

Matthew R. Naumes
Matthew R. Naumes died in his sleep at home Monday (Nov. 24, 2003).

The memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at 11 a.m.

Matt was born Nov. 12, 1981, in Medford to Peter and Bobbi Naumes. He was a 2000 graduate of St. Mary's High School.

Matt was passionate about keeping fit, and was meticulous about his possessions including his surroundings.

He was a compassionate person and adored his cat, Whiskers. He enjoyed listening to music, and spending quality time with his friends and family. He was an avid skateboarder and loved riding his motorcycle.

Matt was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Peter and Bobbi Naumes, survivors include; his brother, J.P. Naumes; his sisters, Tamara Zahnow and Cynthia Naumes; his nephew, A.J. Zahnow; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his grandmothers, Mabel Reynolds and Jarvie Naumes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in his name to the Southern Oregon Humane Society, 2910 Table Rock Road, Medford, OR 97501.

John Alden Lambert Sr.
On Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2003, John Alden Lambert Sr. died peacefully of natural causes surrounded by his loving family.

John served our country as a pilot in World War II and enjoyed flying his own J-3 Cub airplane over the local skies.

John was 86 years old and lived in Central Point, OR.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Virginia; his daughter, Ginger Smith; his son, Jack Lambert; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

John and Virginia lived in the local area for the past thirty-three years and owned and operated the Provolt country store in Provolt, OR from 1970 until 1980.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Mon., Dec. 8, 2003, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford.

Brenda K. Johnson
A memorial service for Brenda K. Johnson will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at Rogue Valley Christian Church. Pastor Kenne Horton of Rogue Valley Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be at Evergreen cemetery, Omaha, NE.

Mrs. Johnson, 47, of Jacksonville, died Sunday (Nov. 2, 2003) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

She was born on June 2, 1956 in Omaha, NE, to Howard and Kathleen (Kerkove) Bailey. On May 27, 1983 in Omaha, she married Michael Johnson, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1989 from Omaha.

Mrs. Johnson worked as an accountant at Bear Creek Corp., a division of Shaklee Industries for 6 years.

Survivors include her husband, Michael and son, Nicholas of Jacksonville; her parents Howard and Kathleen Bailey; a brother, Allan Bailey; and a sister, Coleen Seymour all of Omaha, NE.

Clfford 'Skip' Bohmbach
Clfford "Skip" Bohmbach, 82, of Medford, died Nov. 1, 2003, at his home.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Anna Maria Creekside. Medford.

Skip was born Nov. 6, 1920 in Minneapolis, MN.

He attended the Universtiy of Minnesota and was a member of the ATO Faternity.

Skip served in the Army during WWII as a First Lt. in the U.S. Army artillery. He married Barbara Jean Mills in 1944. They moved to Sacramento, CA in 1946. He was an active member of the Sacramento community, including Greater Broadway Kiwanis, Arden Hills Country Club, Sutter Club, Tee Kii Dance Club, Third Degree Mason and numerous business organizations.

He was the owner and manager of Sacramento Electronics Supply until his retirement. They moved to Medford in 2002.

Survived by his loving wife, Barbara "Babs"; daughter, Rosemary Harrington of Medford; son Bruce of Sacramento, CA; sister Mary Petersen, Minneapolis, MN; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, Richard, and brother, Stanton.

Dorothy M. Jeffrey
Funeral services for Dorothy Marie Jeffrey were held. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Jeffrey, 76, of Medford, died Thursday (Oct. 30, 2003) at her home.

She was born Dec. 3, 1926 in Poth, TX to Charlie and Marie (Klasek) Schmidt.

Mrs. Jeffrey was a homemaker and also worked as a waitress. She married Ken Jeffrey, Sr., who survives, and moved to the Rogue Valley in 1999 from Mission Viejo, CA.

She enjoyed gardening and was a member of Celebrate Jesus Church and a women's prayer group.

Survivors include 3 sons, Ken, Jr. of Spokane, WA, Harry of Post Falls, ID, Mike of Redding, CA; 4 daughters, Kathy Hathaway and Karen Spoonts, both of Medford, Mary Gattoni of Lake Isabella, CA, Doris Wagar of Spokane, WA; 2 brothers and 1 sister, all of Texas; 9 grandchildren, John Jeffrey of Spokane, WA, Lacey Faith of Medford, Amber Anderson of Central Point, Tara Spoonts of Medford, Jason Jeffrey of Seattle, WA, Katie and Jack Gattoni of Lake Isabella, CA, and Wendy and Abbie Wagar of Spokane, WA.

Helen W. Milliron
Helen W. Milliron, 90 of Medford died Saturday (Nov. 1, 2003) in Medford. No services are planned.

Mrs. Milliron was born on May 5, 1913 in Medford to Arthur B. and Lenora Williams. In 1971 she married Robert Milliron who preceded her in death. She lived in the Rogue Valley all her life.

She worked as a Personnel Manager for a insurance company.

Mrs. Milliron was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She enjoyed classical music and crossword puzzles.

Survivors include a niece, Gloria Minneci of Medford; and a nephew, William Hess of San Jose, CA.
