William H. Armstrong , age 71 years, of Wallingford, PA died on Saturday 4/4/09 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Lima PA .Born in Upland, PA Mr. Armstrong had been a resident of Wallingford, PA for the past 17 years.

He was a graduate of West Catholic High School and attended Drexel University and was a member of the Naval Reserve.

Mr. Armstrong was President of WH Armstrong & Associates Consulting. He was a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers.

Mr. Armstrong enjoyed his summer home in Somers Point, NJ and enjoyed fishing, boating and golfing. His great love were his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Gloria A. (nee Renner) Armstrong; his son, Christopher Armstrong of Brick Twp.,NJ; 3 daughters: Beth-Ann Powell of New Brighton, PA., Jennifer Roycroft of Glen Mills, PA and Valerie Oberg of Ridley Park, PA.Brother of Robert Armstrong of Upper Darby, PA and Judith Cantwell of Mass., and Patricia Ballaron of Drexel Hill, PA. also survived by 9 grandchildren.

Funeral services on Thursday 11:00 AM from the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home Middletown (rte # 352) & Knowlton rds., Middletown Twp.,Media, PA where friends may call on Wednesday evening after 7:00PM and Thursday morning after 10:00 AM. Gerry (nee Smith) Armstrong AGE: 82

OF: Aston, PA AND FORMERLY OF: Lebanon, PA

Died Thursday, December 7, 2006 At home

BORN IN: Lebanon, PA HAD BEEN A RESIDENT OF Aston, PA for 59 years.

EDUCATION: Temple University with a Degree in Nursing

EMPLOYMENT: Crozer-Chester Medical Center as a Registered Nurse. She worked as Head Nurse of ICU, Night Nursing Supervisor and before her retirement in 1989 she worked in the Utilization Review Department.

ORGNIZATIONS: Church: Member First Baptist Church Ministries where she helped with the Mission ministry. Mrs. Armstrong's faith and Church family were very important to her.

Other: A woman devoted to her home, family and faith in the Lord Jesus.

She was the wife of the late Charles Armstrong who died in 1975.

SURVIVORS: Survived by Two Daughters: Karen (Humphrey) Nanan of Lehigh Acres, Florida and Vicki J. (David) Haschak of Nottingham, PA; a Son: Chuck S. (Gen) Armstrong of Nottingham, PA; Also survived by Eight Grandchildren.

EMPLOYMENT: Navy Yard where Otterbein began his career as a welder in the Production Department. He achieved the position of Quarterman in 1957 and retired in 1972.

Other: A devoted family man whose family feels blessed to have had him for so many years. Mr. Arndt enjoyed playing golf with his grandson, liked to go fishing and especially loved attending his Great-Grandson's sporting events.

Marion Ruth (nee Toland) Asselin AGE: 88

OF: Rutledge, PA and formerly of Clearwater Florida and Collingdale, PA DIED: Wednesday, January 7, 2009

at the home of her daughter, Janet. Born in Darby, PA. she was raised in Collingdale where she resided until her retirement when she moved to Clearwater, Florida. She was a resident of Clearwater for for 30 years until she became ill and moved to Rutledge 4 years ago.

EDUCATION; Graduate of Ridley High School

EMPLOYMENT: Bell Telephone Company as a Telephone Operator for 20 years until her retirement in 1975.

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member of The Church of The Nazarene Collingdale, PA and also the Church of the Nazarene in Toms River, NJ and Clearwater, Florida.

Other: A woman devoted to her family; Marion especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed needlework, crocheting and riding her bicycle. While living in Florida she loved attending to her citrus trees.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by two loving daughters: Janet R. (Rodger, Sr.) Ollis of Rutledge, PA and Patricia A. (Pastor Delbert) Bieber of Toms River, New Jersey; Five grandchildren: Janet Ollis Swift, Sheryl Ollis Daniels, Rodger H. Ollis, Jr., Mark E. Bieber and Scott C. Bieber; twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; Also survived by her loving companion David Ruffner of Largo, Florida who phoned every night at 7:00 p.m.

Austin, Regina D.

Regina D. (Heagey) Austin, 80, of York, died Sunday, September 9, 2001, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late James C. Austin, Sr..

The service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 12th, at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be in Holy Saviour cemetery. The viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Austin was born September 14, 1920, in Fredrick County, Emmitsburg, MD. She was the daughter of the late Earl W. and Regina R. (Ott) Heagey.

Mrs. Austin was employed by Memorial Hospital as a nurse for 19 years. She served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nursing Corps. during World War II, serving in both European and Pacific Theaters. Mrs. Austin was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and American Legion, Post #791. She was a life member of West York V.F.W. She was a graduate of Gettysburg High School and St. Agnes School, Hospital of Nursing in Baltimore, MD.

Mrs. Austin is survived by a son, James C. Austin, Jr. of Shiloh; two daughters, Regina M. Concino and Ann M. Austin, both of York; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Carroll Heagey of Boca Raton, FL and Charles Heagey of McSherrystown; five sisters, Mary Staub of Yardley, PA, Ruth O’Conner of Parkville, MD, Betty Simpson of Gettysburg, Agnes Myers of York and Evelyn Schanberger of San Diego, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

Officiating at the service will be her pastor, Father Thomas R. Hoke of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

BORN IN: Philadelphia, PA had been a resident of Lester, PA before moving to Upland, PA, 41 years ago. He was the son of the late Edwin and Anna (Koch) Autenreith and brother of the late Edward Autenreith.

VETERAN: US Army WAR World War II Recipient of World War II Victory Medal

ORGANIZATIONS: A devoted husband, father and grandfather. Member of Our Lady of Charity Charitians and AARP Chapter 4496. He enjoyed gardening and traveling.

Aversa, Jr., Zefferino A.

Zefferino A. Aversa, Jr., MD former Chief of Otolaryngology at The Methodist Hospital and distinguished physician who practiced medicine in Philadelphia for 50 years died March 21, 2005 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.

Dr. Aversa was born in Philadelphia June 15, 1926. The son of Zefferino Aversa, MD and Adelinda (Penza) Aversa, he graduated from South Philadelphia High School, Pennsylvania Military College (now Widner University) in 1947, and graduated from the University of Roma (Italy) Medical School in 1953. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Medicine in 1956.

He was a member of the staff at The Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia for 42 years and served the hospital in many capacities. He was Chief of Otolaryngology for 25 years until his retirement in 1998, and had also served as President of the Staff and as a member of the Board of Directors. During his career, Dr. Aversa was also on the staff of: The Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania; Thomas Jefferson University Hospital; Hahnmann University Hospital; Crozer Chester Medical Center; Saint Agnes Medical Center; and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

Dr. Aversa was awarded a Gold Medal of Achievement and Outstanding Service of 50 Years of Medicine by the Philadelphia County Medical Society in June 2003.

Dr. Aversa continued a legacy of the love of medicine instilled in him by the example of his father, Zefferino Aversa, MD, and past on this tradition to his son Jeffery Martin Aversa, MD.

In addition to his son, he is also survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Dolores (Sejda) Aversa and two loving, accomplished, and devoted daughters, Dolores Elizabeth, and Linda Maria. He is also survived by The Honorable Lisa A. Richette, and many cousins in Philadelphia, and in Italy.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, March 28, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 20th and Locust Streets, Philadelphia, PA, where friends may call after 9:30 a.m.
