VETERAN: Navy veteran of the Korean War serving on the USS Uhlman #687.

EMPLOYED: Sun Oil Company, Marcus Hook, PA for over 30 years until his retirement in April 1997 having been employed last in oil transfer.

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Former member Calvary Presbyterian Church in Middletown Twp. Where he had served as a elder for over 30 years. He currently attended Mt Hope United Methodist Church in Aston, PA

Other: He enjoyed playing pool, horseshoes and golf.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife Shirley (nee Reagan) Barlow; Two Sons: Alan Barlow of Mesa, AZ and Mark Barlow of Gilbert, AZ; Two Sisters: Carole Pugh of Upland, PA and Darlene Calesse of Crum Lynne, PA; Also survived by Two Grandsons.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Service Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at The Minshall-Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA

Barnhart, Ella L.

Ella L. (Slick) Barnhart, 41, of York, died at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2001, at York Hospital. She was survived by a companion, Mark Bower and a husband, Jan I. Barnhart.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 21st, at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be in Greenmount cemetery. A visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Barnhart was born January 23, 1960, in York, PA. She was the daughter of Eva L. (Bollinger) Slick of Dover and the late Albert F. Slick, Jr.

Mrs. Barnhart was a self-employed daycare provider. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Dover, York Vo-Tech, West Manchester V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 7374, Shiloh American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 791, ERA (Employees Riders Association) and HOG (Harley Owners Group).

Mrs. Barnhart is also survived by two daughters, Erica L. and Rachel L. O'Bryan, both at home; a brother, Paul E. Slick of Thomasville; a sister, Amy L. Fix of Dover; and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barnhart was also preceded in death by a brother, Brian F. Slick and a sister, Lori Anne Slick.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dwayne C. Carter interim pastor of Salem United Church of Christ in Dover.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Erica and Rachel O'Bryan Memorial Fund, c/o Waypoint Bank, 101 S. George St., York, PA 17401.

Constance Helen (nee Ganley) Bauer AGE: 68

OF: Brookhaven, PA FORMERLY OF: Upper Darby, PA

DIED: Sunday, June 20, 2004 AT Home

Born: Philadelphia, PA HAD BEEN A RESIDENT OF Upper Darby, PA BEFORE MOVING TO Brookhaven, PA, 30 years ago.

EDUCATION: Graduate Upper Darby High School Class of 1954

Graduate Stonier School of Banking, Brown University

EMPLOYMENT: PSFS and Mellon Bank AS Assistant Vice President FOR 33 years, until her retirement.

ORGANIZATIONS: Served as Hilltop Condominium Council President, Former Auditor and Committee Woman of Brookhaven Borough and Former President of the Business and Professional Women's Club, Inc. Chester Chapter. She enjoyed travelling and summers at the pool.

SURVIVORS: Survived by A Brother: Frank Bauer of Brookhaven, PA; Also survived by Two Nephews and Two Nieces who cared for her Rich, Chris, Nikki and Genevieve Bauer and Two Great-Nephews.

EMPLOYMENT: Boeing Vertol as a Traffic Manager where he was employed for 27 years retiring in 1990.

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member Church of St Joseph, Aston, PA where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and a Lector.

Other: He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Executive Board of Neumann College Alumni and the First President of the Aston Town Watch.

Son of the late Grace Baxter Lipschutz. Brother of the late Grace Callanan Johnson.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife Cecile M. (nee Kattinge) Baxter; Three Daughters: Frances (Wayne) Calloway of Aston, PA, Norma Jean (David) Campbell of Middletown Twp., PA and Jamie Lynne Baxter of Aston, PA; One Sister: Natalie Syms of Cocoa Beach, Florida; Also survived by Seven Grandchildren and Twelve Great-Grandchidren.

Beach, Kenneth Henry

Kenneth H. Beach, 61 of Manchester Township, York; died Sunday, October 14, 2001 at his residence. He was the husband of Annmarie (Zablotny) Beach.

Born October 14, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA. He was raised by his grandparents, the late Daniel and Edna Boone. He was a safety engineer for United Defense in York for more than 30 years. He is a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, York and was a Commissioner in the Boy Scouts of America, Troop # 150.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Beach is survived by two sons, David C. Beach at home and Matthew J. Beach at home; a brother, James Bradley of Philadelphia; and a sister, Margaret C. MacDonald of Pasadena, MD.

A Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 1:00 PM Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001 at Church of the Resurrection, 3175 Paulskirk Drive, Ellicott City, MD 21042; with his cousin, Rev. Charles Klein, resident vicar of Grewen Hall at Harbor Hospital officiating. Private burial will be in Cedar Hill cemetery. A viewing will be Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Slack Funeral Home, 3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043. There is also a Memorial Mass scheduled for 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 950 West Market Street, York, with his Priest, Rev. Fr. Thomas R. Hoke officiating.
