Brown of Chadds Ford, PA; Two Daughters: Susan Riser of Kennett Square, PA and Sheri Brown-Mariani of Longneck Delaware; Also survived by Nine Grandchildren and Two Great-Grandchildren.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Service Thursday 10:00 a.m. from Trinity United Methodist Church, 9th and Butler Streets, Chester, PA. Interment Mt. Hope cemetery, Aston, PA. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Minshall-Shropshire Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA.

EMPLOYED: State Farm Insurance Company FOR 35 years Retiring 1987

VETERAN: US Air Force AS armorer WAR World War II serving for over four years during World War II, serving three of these years in the Pacific Theatre. Recipient of The Asiatic Pacific Service Medal with Four Bronze Stars.

ORGANIZATIONS: Two experiences which impressed him most were surviving World War II and being elected Township Commissioner in Springfield, PA

(nee Doyle) Bryan; A Daughter: Constance Bryan of Hartford, Kentucky; Five Step-Daughters: Paula Pejsa of Gilbert, Arizona, Teresa Bresset of Aiken, South Carolina, Donna Donnelly of Prospect Park, PA, Beverly Bresset of Aston, PA and Yvonne Alberici of Drexel Hill, PA; One Brother: John Bryan of Lake City, PA; Also survived by Eleven Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren; Pre-deceased by his twin brother Robert, sister Kathryn Erskine and brother James Bryan.

Son of Lucy Sabatino (nee Turra). Son-in-law of Janet R. Mancuso, and Thomas and Sylvia Iezzi. Loving brother of Joseph Benton, Antionette Mento, the late Thomas Benton, Regina DeLuca, Anthony Benton, Lisa Criniti, and Lucianne and Peter Sabatino. Also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews. John loved his family, sports, and spending time outdoors. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Sunday from 6:00-9:00 PM and Monday from 8:15-9:15 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton, NJ. Interment will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.

Benz, Marion C.

Marion C. Benz, of Oceanport, died Wednesday, September 7 at home. She was a technical Librarian at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown for 25 years before retiring. She was a member of Red Bank Methodist Church; Order of the Eastern Star # 214; Olmstead Family Association; a member of Daughters of American Colonist and past member of the Long Branch Women's Club. Born in Long Branch, she lived in Eatontown before moving to Oceanport 35 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Hermenn Benz in 1955; a brother, Kenneth C. Kirby and a sister, Ruth E. Kirby. She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Carol and Allan White of Oceanport. All services were private. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch was in charge of arrangements.

DIED: Wednesday, October 3, 2007 AT: Crozer-Chester Medical Center BORN IN AND RAISED IN: Chester, PA She HAD BEEN A RESIDENT OF Middletown Twp., PA for 30 years.

EMPLOYMENT: Mrs. Black was a woman devoted to her home and family. After staying at home to raise her children she went back to the work force. She was employed by Synthes Company, West Chester, PA as an Accountant.

ORGNIZATIONS: Church: Active member Leverington Presbyterian Church, Roxborough, Philadelphia, PA.

Other: A devoted wife and mother who while raising her children was the Owner/Operator of Childhood Discovery a Day Care Center. She was a Delaware County Girl Scout Leader and was involved with Rose Tree School PTA. She also did volunteer work with literacy programs.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by her Husband of 30 years, William A. Black; A Son: Jeffrey (Lorrieann) Carey of Earleville, Maryland; Three Daughters: Dawn Black of Philadelphia, PA, Pamela Black of West Chester, PA and Kelly Black of Aston, PA; Also survived by her Grandchildren: Zachary, Kendall, Elizabeth and Svetlana.

SERVICE INFORMATION Funeral Service Tuesday 11:30 a.m. at The Minshall-Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. A private Inurnment will take place at a later date in Edgewood Memorial Park.
