Camp, Beulah Scull

Beulah Scull Camp, 102, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2004 at Court House Convalescent Center. Born in Pierces, NJ to the late Joseph and Frankie Rebecca (Hoffman) Camp, she was a lifetime resident of Cape May County. She was a third grade teacher in Middle Township for over 45 years. She was a member of the Green Creek United Methodist Church and the First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House.

She is survived by her nephew, W.C. Camp of South Dennis; and her nieces, Frances Hansen of Woodstown, and Betty Irmler of Cape May Court House.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Creek United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Green Creek United Methodist Church, 386 Route 47 South, Green Creek, NJ 08219 or the First United Methodist Church, 1 Church Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Camp, Tyller Christopher

Tyller Christopher Camp, 6, of Villas, was taken from us on January 22, 2004. Our baby boy wanted to be a S.W.A.T. Team member when he grew up. He loved to dress up in his military and police uniforms. Tyller was a funny and intelligent little boy. His bright smile will be missed by all of us. He was in the first grade at Carl T. Mitnick School in Lower Township. He also attended CCD classes at St. Raymond's Roman Catholic Church, Villas.

He leaves behind his loving parents, Edward Camp, Jr. of Rio Grande and Shannon Kane of Villas; his sister, Kerry Kane; his brother, Joshua Parks; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Connie Camp of Goshen; maternal grandparents, Mary Ann and Michael Kane of North Wildwood; his paternal great grandparents, Frank and Delores Camp of Eldora and Nick and Connie Turchi of Goshen; maternal great grandparent, Caroline Kane of Clementon; his aunts, Elizabeth Camp of Burleigh, Kelli Kane of Philadelphia, PA, and Colleen and James Shaw of Villas; his uncle, Daniel Camp of Rio Grande; his cousins, Brandon and Devon Shaw of Villas, Daniel Camp, Jr. of Oregon, and Patrick Flax of Burleigh; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Raymond's Church, East Hudson Avenue, Villas, where relatives and friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery, Cold Spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to benefit Tyller Camp Memorial Fund, c/o Crest Savings Bank, 3306 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ 08204.

Camp, Paul Richard

Paul Richard Camp, 72, of Cape May Court House, died on Thursday, June 1, 2006. Born in Mayville to the late Oscar and Rebecca (Reba) Anna (Souders) Camp, he was a lifetime resident here. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958 and in the reserves until 1962. He was a radar technician for NAFAC in Pomona. He was a life member of the Cape May Court House Fire Department as well as a member of the Fireman's Aide Association, the Cape May County Communications Van, and the Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge. He was also a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader Pack 65 and a 4-H Leader.

Mr. Camp is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia (Simpkins) Camp; his son, Allan Camp and his wife, Nancy; his brother, Roland Camp; his granddaughter, Ann Marie Ulissi; and his great granddaughter, Arinna.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, June 5, 2006 at 3:30 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Interment will be private.

Camp, Tami A.

Camp, Tami A., age 43, of Mullica Township, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2001 at Atlantic City Medical Center-Mainland Division, Galloway Township. She was born in Camden and has lived in Mullica Township for the past 11 years. She formerly lived in Scullville, Egg Harbor Township. She was a Claims Officer with Social Security Administration for 22 years. Tami is survived by her husband, Wayne Camp, Sr. of Mullica Township; sons, Wayne Camp, Jr. and Kyle Camp, both of Northfield; daughters, Victoria Amy Miller of Somers Point and Jennifer Lee Camp of Irvine, California; her aunt, Sheila McKee DeMarco of Voorhees. Her funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2001 at 2:00 PM at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City (609-965-0357), where her viewing will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor.

Camp, Sr., Harry W.

Harry W. Camp, Sr., age 71, died on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, at home. He was born in Dias Creek and was a lifetime resident here. He was a member of the Dias Creek Methodist Church. He was a 1952 graduate of Middle Twp. H.S. where he played football, baseball, and ran track; he was an avid fisherman and hunter belonging to the NRA and Bowhunters of NJ. he was an avid fan of Charlton Heston. He helped construct the Garden State Parkway; had worked for Borden's as a schucker and maintenance then was a welder for Southern Clam Company.

As a fabulous husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Miriam E.; children: Harry W., Jr. and his wife, Donna Marie, Christopher C.J. and his wife, Tina Marie of Dias Creek, Denise L. Camp and Companion Christopher Curran; his brother: Charles and wife, Barbara of Ocean View; his sister: Harriet Egnor and her son, John, Jr. of Newark, DE.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at 11:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape may Court House, NJ where friends may call at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Green Creek Methodist Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurse Agency, 1801 Rte. 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210

Campanella, Sophie

Sophie Campanella, age 86 of Red Bank died Thursday, October 5, 2006 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a seamstress for Eisner's and a waitress at Luigi's both Red Bank before retiring several years ago. Born in New York, she had lived most of her life in Red Bank.

Surviving is her son, Joseph F. Vanderwerken, Chesapeake, VA; 2 brothers, Joseph Campanella, Highlands and Frank Campanella, Oceanport; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch on Tuesday, October 10, from 7 pm until the time of service at 8:30 pm.

Campanella, Peggy K.

PEGGY K. CAMPANELLA (Nee Richardson) of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 22, 2005, at Virtua West Jersey Hosptial in Berlin, NJ. She was 79 years of age. Born in Bedford, England, Peggy was a war time bride she came to the U.S. with her son Parris aboard the Queen Mary in 1946. A devoted home maker, she spent 4 years in the Women's Land Army in England during WWII and for a time worked at the Montgomery Co. S.P.C.A. in White Marsh. She is the beloved wife of Henry Campanella of Southampton, NJ and the loving mother of Parris Angelo DiPaul of Doyline, LA, Theresa Cass of King of Prussia, PA, Brian E. DiPaul of Doyline, LA and Mark DiPaul of Havetown, PA. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Glenn Richardson Jr, Sean Richardson, Victoria Marie DiPaul, Parris A. DiPaul Jr., Marlene DiPaul, Tammi DiPaul and Michael DiPaul and her Great Grandchildren Hailey DiPaul and Colin Joseph Richardson. She is the wife of the late Rinaldo DiPaul and the mother of the late Joseph DiPaul. CAMPBELL, Edith M.

CAMPBELL, Edith M. (nee MacFarland)Age 89 of Lindenwoldwent to be with the Lord and her beloved husband Howard on July 23, 2002.

Mrs. Campbell was the devoted and loving mother of Barbara Curry (Bill), Nancy Waters (Ken) and Richard Campbell. She was the dearest mom-mom to 7 grandchildren, Robert Cheeseman, Jr, Diane M. Cheeseman, Karen L. Crockett, Robert Koehler, Jr, Sandra D. Campbell Richard G. Campbell, Jr. and Deborah D. Walls; and gg mom to 17 great grandchildren. Mrs. Campbell worked at Peoples National Bank for 20 years. She knew she was dearly loved by all her family. Her memory will be cherished, but her passing will leave a great emptiness in all our hearts.

Viewing will be held Friday, July 26, 2002 10-11:30am with the service to follow at 11:30am at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA.

CAMPBELL, on July 7, 2002, Carol J. (nee Hucke) of Marlton, formerly of Allentown PA, New York and Summit NJ. Beloved mother of the late Deborah Shaid and loving fiancée of David W. Lampe of Moorestown. She is survived by her sister, Arlene Gail Kemmerer of Bryn Mawr PA, her brother and his wife, Robert and Erna Hucke and her extended family, Katie Corry and family of Downingtown PA and Nora and Evan Gallagher of Exton PA. Carol was a devoted homemaker and caretaker of her daughter, Deborah. To know her was to love her. Campbell, Laura Mae

LAURA MAE CAMPBELL, (Nee Sharpe) went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at the Virtua West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. She was 72 yrs. of age. Born in Asbury Park, NJ, she has resided in Medford Lakes for the past 41 yrs., moving here from Whippany, NJ. A registered Nurse she graduated from Monmouth Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1952. She left nursing in 1970 to work with her husband at the family owned business of Penn Jersey Propane in Medford, NJ. She loyaly attended Shawnee Baptist Church in Shamong for the past 25 years. She is the loving wife of Robert C. Campbell and devoted mother of Robert C. Jr. and his wife Janice of Medford Lakes, NJ, Richard E. and his wife Leslie of San Diego, CA and Russell C. of Marlton, NJ. She is also survived by her two sisters Dottie Langenes of Allenwood, NJ and Joyce Sharpe of Whiting, NJ and her 3 Grandchildren Philip, Faith and Jessica. Campbell, Anna M.

Anna M. Campbell, 64, of Wildwood, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2004 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Kent Island, MD to the late William and Lola May (Chase) Stevenson. She moved to this area 50 years ago and lived in Whitesboro for many years before moving to Wildwood. She was an early childhood education teacher for Headstart and the Showboat Casino Day Care. She was a member of Bethel Church. She enjoyed to read, to go to plays, and to write poetry, which she gave away for special occasions. She was devoted to her family and was everybody's mother.

She is survived by her children, Ischa Campbell, Carolyn Cheney of Whitesboro, Khadija Gayle of Wildwood, Mardiah Rsheed of Wildwood, Khaledah S. Rsheed of Iowa, Arlimah Rsheed, Aliah Rsheed, Nafeesa Rsheed of Camden, Fateema Rsheed, Saleem Rsheed Campbell, and Niasia Campbell of Georgia; her sisters, Ella Lemar, Harriet Seegers, and Carolinda Hayes; her brothers, Robert Anderson, and James Hayes; 25 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaiah Saleem Ali Constantine Rsheed Campbell "Son", one daughter, and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2004 at 11:00 at Bethel Evangelical Outreach Ministries, 206 North 4th Street, Pleasantville. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Swainton.

CAMPBELL, Alleyne R.

On May 12, 2004, of Leisuretown, Southampton, NJ Formerly of Willingboro, NJ for 40 years. Age 73. Beloved husband of the late Mildred. Loving father of Mark Campbell of Mt Laurel, Daniel Campbell of New Hope, PA, Barbara Landauer of Exton, PA and Patricia Campbell of Newark, DE. Devoted grandfather of Colleen, Courtney and Christopher Campbell and Tessa Landauer. Mr. Campbell was a Veteran of the Navy during the Korean conflict. He was an Electric Design Engineer for 35 years, receiving his BS in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, his MS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel Institute of Technology and his Professional Engineering License. Camp, Elaine

Elaine Camp, 77, of Cape May Court House, died on Monday, November 26, 2001. She is at peace at last after a lengthy illness. She was a longtime member of the Dennisville Methodist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Roland M.; a son, Randall S. and his wife, Connie; and a grandson, Ryan. Also surviving are two sisters, Wanda Meyer of Norfolk, VA and Sandra Swagler of Dennisville. She was preceded in death by her brother, J. Loren Swagler.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Dennisville Methodist Church or the First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House.

Campbell, Eleanor F.

Eleanor F. Campbell, born in January 1916 in Philadelphia, PA died on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at her home in Cape May Court House. She relocated to Cape May County in 1985 following her retirement from St. Christopher's Hospital as an xray technician. She enjoyed the activities at the Dennis Township Senior Center and the many friends she met there.

She is survived by her son Richard McHale and her dear friend Donald Burke. Interment is private in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo.

Campbell, Blache M.

Blanche Michaud Campbell, age 72 of Long Branch died Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at Monmouth Care Center, Long Branch. She was a former member of the Calvary Assembly of God, West Long Branch. Born in Limestone, Mass, she had lived in Long Branch since 1959. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbur Campbell in 1988 and a son, Roger Campbell in 1969.

Surviving are her sons, Larry Campbell, Long Branch; Donald Campbell, Long Branch; a daughter Brenda Robinson, West Long Branch; 1 brother; 4 sisters, and 5 grandchildren.

A committal service will be held on Tuesday June 28, at Glenwood Cemetery, West Long Branch. Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., Long Branch is in charge of the arrangements.

Campbell, Elizabeth C.

CAMPBELL, ELIZABETH C., age 84, of Cape May Court House, NJ , died on Saturday, December 23, 2006, at the Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Devon, PA, one of six children of the late John and Kathryn Ryan Dillon. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. She was a retired office manager for Harry J. Campbell, Inc. Plumbing and Heating of Wayne, PA. She resided in the Wayne, PA area until 1995, when she moved to Cape May Court House to reside with her daughter, Terri Zatavesky and her husband, Richard, following the death of her husband, Harry J., Jr., who she was married to for over fifty years. She was a member of the Soroptimist Club of PA, and an active supportive member of St. Katherine of Sienna Church in Wayne, PA. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a son, Mick, of Stroudsburg, PA; one grandson, Mike Jensen of Fairbanks, Alaska; and a great grandson, Emmet Michael Jensen.

The Funeral Liturgy will be said on Thursday, December 28, 2006, at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and E. Mechanic St., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit at 9:00 am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 11000 Lincoln Drive West, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Campbell-Wallace, Dori Ann

Dori Ann Campbell-Wallace, 51, of Sea Isle City, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2008 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in New York City, she lived in Springfield, PA and then moved to Sea Isle City in 1992.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by her loving daughters, Emily, Lucy, and Lily Carfagno of Ventnor, NJ; her father, Geoffrey (Dorothy) Campbell, and her sisters, Jodi and Stephanie Campbell. Dori was pre-deceased by her mother Renee Goodkin.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Interment will be private.

Campisi, E. Frances

CAMPISI, on September 20, 2001, E. Frances (nee Baillargeon) of Marlton, NJ. Formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 79. Loving wife of Domenic. Mother of: Fred of Westville, NJ, Anthony of Marlton, and Elaine Podolak of Medford, NJ. Also survived by her sister, Margaret Ross of Burlington, VT, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Canderan, John

John Canderan, 79, of Cape May Court House, died peacefully at home Friday May 8 surrounded by his family.

John was a man of extraordinary warmth who lived his life with integrity and tremendous love. His greatest joy was his family, and there were no strangers in John's life, only friends he hadn't met yet. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

John was born in Frisanco, Italy and was raised in a Pennsylvania mining town. He moved to New York City where he attended high school and trade school. He was employed by the Tile, Marble and Terrazzo Union Local 7 NY/NJ for 30 years. John also served as a translator for the US Army during the Korean War.

Betty and John raised their family in Piscataway NJ where they were very involved in their children's many activities as well as their church and civic communities. In 1990 Betty and John relocated to Cape May County where they became ardent peace advocates and continued to serve their church and community.

John is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Elizabeth (nee McCann) and his six children, John L. Canderan (Merle), Christopher Canderan (Cheryl), Jean DeSio (David), Dolores Holzer (Jeff), Teresa Andrew (Philip), and Celeste Sharer (Craig). He also leaves behind his 13 dearly beloved grandchildren - Nicholl Malunow, Jeffrey J. Holzer, Dana Speziali, Dale Holzer, Christopher R. Canderan, Nicholas Canderan, Elizabeth A. Canderan, Rebecca Canderan, Robert Canderan, Daniel DeSio, Leah Canderan, Alexandra Sharer, Craig B. Sharer, three great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive visitors at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue in Cape May Court House on Monday, May 11 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9pm.

His life will be celebrated at a funeral mass on Tuesday May 12 at 10 am at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 35 East Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House, preceded by an in-church viewing beginning at 9 am. Interment will follow in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Goshen.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to The Haiti Project, c/o OLA Church, 35 East Mechanic St., Cape May Court House 08210 or The Coalition for Peace and Justice, 321 Barr Avenue, Linwood NJ 08221.

Candido, Silvia M.

Silvia M. Candido, age 37 of West Long Branch, died Friday, February 25, 2005 at St Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. She was a parishioner of St John the Baptist R.C. Church, Long Branch. Born in Brazil, she had lived in Long Branch before moving to West Long Branch 14 months ago. Surviving are husband, Jose "Joe" Candido; a son, Mitchell Candido; a daughter, Ashley Candido; her parents, Osilio and Ivone Machado, Brazil; a brother, Euvanio Pereira, Brazil; 2 sisters, Silvania Bontempo, Brazil; and Sonia Pereira, Eatontown.

Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., on corner of Third Ave. Long Branch on Monday, February 28, from 6-9 pm. Funeral Tuesday at 9 am from the funeral home followed by a 10 am Mass at St John the Baptist R.C. Church, Long Branch.

Candy, William E.

CANDY, WILLIAM E. of Mt. Laurel, NJ passed away on Feb. 4, 2007 one day after his 76th birthday surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Philadelphia. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 55 years, Carol L. (nee Jenkins), his four children, Karyl (Bill), Debbie (Joe), Scott (Fay) and Guy (Karen), 4 grandsons, Joey, Nick, Mike and Kevin, and 1 great granddaughter, Marissa. Also survived by his sister Gayle, and brother and sisters-in-law Dotty, Billy, and Peggy. Bill fought a courageous battle with cancer while never losing his sense of humor. He is "Forever in our hearts." Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday from 7:00-8:00 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Memorial Service will be 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
