EMPLOYMENT: Samar Fashions, Chester, PA as a Seamstress

ORGANIZATIONS: Mrs. Goodman served as a volunteer at Crozer- Chester Medical Center and for the Salvation Army. Mrs. Goodman was very creative and passionate about arts and crafts. She especially enjoyed making dolls from start to finish.

Beloved wife of the late Karl Goodman who died in 2003

Predeceased by Sisters Emma Bishoff and Sara Squibb.

SURVIVORS: Survived by Three Sisters: Mary Remigio of Ridley Twp., PA, Esther Denton of Middletown Twp., PA and Nancy Morrison of Chester, PA; Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.

SERVICE INFORMATION: A gathering of friends and relatives Saturday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at The Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp. Media, PA. Interment Chester Rural Cemetery, Chester, PA.

EMPLOYMENT: Neumann College and Presbyterian Homes and Services as an Executive Secretary before retiring in 1999.

Prior Employment: Westlake Plastics in Lenni for 10 years and Dixie Printing and Tropical Plastics in Clearwater, Florida.

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member Mt Hope United Methodist Church, Aston, PA

Other: A woman devoted to her home and family. Mrs. Goodman volunteered for Hospice, nursing home ministry, prison ministry and hospital visitation.

Daughter of the late Marie Starr Hobaugh and the late Ames B. Wilkes.

SURVIVORS: Survived by her husband of 12 years: Jack H. Goodman; Two Sons: Samuel N. Powell of Flagstaff, AZ and William A. Powell of Indianapolis, IN; One Daughter: Susan M. Galante of Aston, PA; Also survived by Two Granddaughters: Alexis & Allie.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Mt Hope United Methodist Church, 4020 Concord Road, Aston, PA 19014, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment private.
