SURVIVORS: Survived by her life partner Catherine Nicolardi of Essington, PA; Children: Jordan and Jazzmyn Nicolardi at home; Two Brothers: Carl Ryan of Essington, PA and Joseph Ryan of Lester, PA; One Sister: Tana Kalesnik of Lester, PA.

SURVIVORS: Wife of the late William L. Hoffman, Jr. who died in 1996. She is survived by Two Sons: William L. Hoffman of Philadelphia, PA and Eric R. Hoffman Atglen, PA; Two Daughters: Karen L. Valcheff of Johnstown, PA and Kathy L. Baldwin of Glen Mills, PA; A Sister: Shirley Boyer of Hazleton, PA; A Brother: Richard Chisnell of Providence, Rhode Island; Also survived by 12 Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild. Brother of the late Harry Chisnell.

Richard C. "Dick" Hoffman AGE: 82

OF: Ware Presbyterian Village, Oxford, PA and formerly of Brookhaven, PA

DIED: Tuesday, September 2, 2008 AT: Home

BORN IN: Millville, New Jersey he had been a resident of Brookhaven, PA for 57 years before moving to Oxford in February of this year.

EDUCATION: Graduate Chester High School Class of 1943

He was awarded the honor of an Eagle Scout

VETERAN: US Navy as a Seaman 1 Class during World War II in the Pacific Theatre serving on the USS Canberra when it was torpedoed

EMPLOYMENT: Philadelphia Electric Company as a Supervisor at the Chester Station for 39 years retiring in 1986

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Mount Hope United Methodist Church, Aston, PA where he was a member for 45 years. He served as Trustee, former President of Trustees and also as a Sunday School Teacher.

Other: Mr Hoffman was a man devoted to his home, family and church. He was a member of the Aston Lions Club where he served as Past President and was a Melvin Jones Fellow. A long time volunteer at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. He enjoyed camping, the seashore, traveling and especially loved working with flowers.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife of 58 years Mary Alice (nee Johnson) Hoffman; Three Daughters: Marilyn J. (Paul) Titter of Lancaster, PA, Michele G. (David) Turocy of Chelmsford, Massachusetts and Julie (Tom) DiVittorio of West Grove, PA; One Brother: Robert Hoffman of Canton, Ohio; Also survived by Eight Grandchildren and One Great-Granddaughter.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Memorial Service 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2008 at The Oxford Presbyterian Church, 6 Pine Street, Oxford, PA 19363. Interment private.
