VETERAN: US Army Nurse during World War II where she served as a First Lieutenant in France, Philippines and Japan

EMPLOYMENT: Nurse for Sun Valley High School from 1959 to 1986 and was also a Nurse at St Francis DeSales. She was the first School Nurse at Sun Valley High School.

Other: A woman devoted to home and family. Member Old Guard of Penn Delco School District.

Wife of the late Allen G. Irons who died in 1981.

ORGANIZATIONS: Judi was a member of the Exton Chamber of Commerce, the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and served on the Board of Directors at the YMCA.

Judi dedicated her entire life to helping others and volunteered her time and energy to more organizations than can possible be listed. She especially enjoyed working with organizations devoted to helping children and was an active volunteer at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Brandywine YMCA.

SURVIVORS: Survived by her husband of 18 years Michael J. Bernardi; Her Father: Bernard (Elizabeth) Ivens of Fort Meyers, Florida; Her Mother: Kathy Lass Ivens of Chestnut Hill, PA; Two Sisters: Beverly Telepan of Manhattan, New York and Debbie Lewites of Berkley, California; Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
